Louis Massaro walks through reverse engineering your vision into concrete goals across seven life areas. Write down what you want, tag each item with a timeline code (1 year, 3 years, or 10 years), and you've got a roadmap. Handwriting works best for thinking, but use whatever tool you'll actually use.

Transforming your mission from a dream into reality demands an effective strategy and a robust set of tools. So first thing we want to do is we want to reverse engineer your vision. We want to turn that into mission driven and attainable goals. Alright, so you're like, yeah, Louis, great, I got my vision. How do we make it happen? This is how we do it. First thing we do is we break down your wants, the stuff that you said you want in the seven key areas of your life. Take that list, right? So once you have that list written out, okay, pen, paper, computer, however you work best. I find that when I'm thinking through things and when I'm doing more of an introspective thinking through of what I want, I like to actually hand write it. But whatever works for you. Take that list and literally go next to each one of those things that you want and just write a 1, a 3, or a 10. Meaning going to accomplish this in the next year. I'm going to accomplish this in the next three years or I'm going to accomplish this in the next ten.
