Massaro frames legacy in two measures—personal growth (which enables greater capacity to help others) and contribution (serving others and changing one’s family story)—and states his mission to reverse his family’s generational trajectory.

Legacy means when I'm gone, What was the legacy? What did I leave here on this earth? Who did I impact? And I measured that in two ways. How much did I grow as a person, as an individual? Because I know the more I grow, the more I can help others. The more I grow, the better I can navigate life. The more that I grow, I will become better and life will become easier. But it's also about contribution. Many of you know, you've been with me for a long time. This is my mission, this is my goal here, is to serve, not have people go through what I went through. So what's your legacy? Because if we're not thinking about that, we're not thinking about our life in a big enough way, right? I am making the cut in my generational tree of turning our entire story around for the Massaros. Right? I'm doing that.
