Instagram launched Edits, a free video editor with auto-captions and trending sounds. It shows exactly where viewers drop off in your Reels with a retention graph, plus metrics on skip rate, likes, and shares so you can see what's working.
Instagram just released their brand new app called Edits, and it's gonna blow your mind. It's basically CapCut but on steroids. They have auto captions, cut tracking, and a library of ready-to-use trending sounds. But that's not what you should use it for. The real gold is in the analytics. You can now track detailed metrics of every single reel that you post. It shows skip rate, like rate, share rate, but most importantly, it shows the retention graph so you can actually see when people are dropping off your videos. So now you can figure out exactly why your content isn't working and fix it. To download the Edits app, all you gotta do is click the three little dots at the top of your profile, scroll all the way down, Tap edit and it will take you to the App Store to download it.
