Magnetic Feminine AI Coach and relationship coach Brody Boyd break down ten traits men find attractive, from vulnerability and authenticity to appreciative feedback and emotional steadiness. They argue attraction hinges on feminine energy—openness and receptivity—not appearance, and offer phrasing women can practice for each trait.

I'm going to tell you something that might change the way you think about attraction forever. And as a man who has been studying masculine and feminine dynamics for over a decade, I can tell you with absolute certainty that the hottest women in the room is almost never the prettiest one. And most women have no idea why. Have you ever wondered why some women attract the exact kind of man they want without ever chasing him, without ever performing, or without ever trying to earn it? It's not her face. It's not luck. It's a specific set of traits that men respond to at a level most of them cannot even explain to you. So today I'm going to give you the 10 feminine traits that men find irresistible. And pay attention to number 7 because it's the one almost every woman gets backwards. I'm Brody Boyd, and together with my wife, Antia, we've been helping thousands of successful women for over 20 years combined to get a loving, long-term, and committed relationship with a man they want fast. Let's dive into it. Number 1, a man cannot pursue a woman who left him nothing to give.
Now, the number 1 reason why men are extremely attracted to vulnerability in women is because vulnerability creates a space for him to pursue you as well. So if you're so busy being the strong, independent woman or wearing the masculine armor, the masculine shields, putting on a mask or providing for yourself and not having anything that a man can help you with, that he can give to you in small ways or in big ways, Then there's not really a space for him to pursue you as well, because you might actually be in your masculine. A lot of women are in their masculine energy where they're not being vulnerable, and instead they're trying to lead their man. They're trying to tell him what to do, or they're trying to manipulate him. So either telling him what to do directly, or they're trying to manipulate him indirectly to get what they want, which is masculine energy. Masculine energy is about doing and achieving outcomes. Feminine energy is about openness and detachment from outcomes. And so as, as long as you're trying to control him, as long as you're trying to guide him or get him to give you his phone number or ask you out or propose to you or commit to you or etc., whenever you're trying to get him to do something, it's actually going to push him away because he's not able to actually lead himself. He's not able to choose on his own to change or to do those things or to pursue you. See, a man has to be motivated from within. You can never motivate a man externally. In a relationship. The more you try to motivate a man externally, you're just gonna push him more into his feminine, or you're gonna make him angry and upset and have him shut down, lose his masculine motivation, his masculine self-esteem, or he'll pull away from the relationship and, uh, leave. So you can't externally motivate a man. All you can do is internally motivate him. How do you internally motivate a man? Through your feminine energy, through your feminine core, through being vulnerable, through sharing your heart.
Number 2, he cannot fall for a mask no matter how perfect it is.
So instead of trying to put on a mask of being who you think he wants you to be, like, I'm just going to please him, I'm just going to pretend to be this perfect woman, I'm trying to make myself this perfect woman— that's masculine energy. That's you trying to control his perception of you. That's still you're trying to control things. You're not— you still haven't released. You still haven't let go of this, this The steering wheel. You're still trying to drive the car even though he's trying to grab the handle and he's like, hey, I can drive us. Like, I can lead us forward. And you're like, no, I still, I still wanna, I still wanna drive because I'm not, I'm not quite sure yet. I'm not quite ready yet. He's like, okay, well then why am I here? Why am I needed? But so as long as you're trying to please a man and you're putting that mask on, you're confusing him and you're making him not really know who you really are for one. But also, I believe men can sense that as well. When you're putting on a mask, you're, you're, you're putting on the pleasing. Mm-hmm. Energy to try to try to make him happy, even though you have a lot of other things inside of you that you are kind of holding back and that you're masking over. And so, one cure for that is to embrace your uniqueness and actually reframe it within yourself that your uniqueness is what makes you beautiful. Your uniqueness is what draws a man to you. Some might even say your weirdness or your craziness or your freak freakiness. The freak show. Let the freak show come out.
Number 3, admire a man and he will conquer something for you.
And the masculine instinct is— part of it is, a big part of it is to conquer, to expand his territory, to make, uh, make some success happen, whatever that means for him. Whether that's winning your heart and becoming your man, becoming the man that you pick, or it could be, uh, getting a touchdown. It could be that career goal that he has in mind. It could be buying the new car. Or, you know, in like the ancient times, actually expanding his kingdom and conquering the world like Alexander the Great. So you activate within a man the same instinct that lives within every man. I think it was Napoleon Bonaparte that said, every man, every man a king. Every man has within him a king. And so it's, it's in our lineage. Every man has it within his lineage that we are in some ways all the children of kings and queens. Because generally in history, those legacies were the ones that continued into the future. And so within his kingly instinct, his masculine instinct, he's going to want to conquer. He's going to want to achieve. He's going to want to expand. And you inspire him into that. So you inspire him to want to be a better partner for you, to want to actually win your heart, to make you happy, to want to please you in all the ways that you want to be pleased. That he will feel activated in that and he'll feel excited about that. He'll feel good about that when you're in your feminine energy. And then also you inspire him to just be a more successful man, to be a better provider, to be achieving more financially, to be healthier, to be stronger, to just want to be more for you because he will want to make you happy. So that's a big part of what happens to a man's mind when he meets a feminine woman.
Number 4, appreciation activates him. Accommodation drains you both. A healthy man gets his sense of value from making a woman he loves happy, and the only way he knows it's working is seeing his effort is landing on you. So your appreciation isn't just a nicety, it's his paycheck. The masculine gives, the feminine receives, and your receiving is what completes his giving. A man whose effort disappears into a void stops making the effort. Write this one down. What gets appreciated gets repeated. What gets criticized gets defended, and what gets ignored quietly dies. So here's the actual skill, and it's a small one that changes everything. Appreciate the intent, not the execution.
If he brings you a coffee and gets the order completely wrong, you say, you thought of me on your way to work.
Thank you. If he tries to fix your problem when you're just wanting to be heard, you say, thank you for wanting to take care of that for me. He plans a date and it turns out kind of mediocre. You say, I love that you planned this for us, because if you always just correct his execution, he will eventually stop trying. If you thank him for the intent, he will be more likely to try again and try harder to get the execution better and better on its own. And out loud, general appreciation could also sound like this. Thank you for taking such good care of me, or you're my hero. That is not flattery. Flattery praises what isn't there. Appreciation catches what is there, even when it's small and imperfect, and shines a light on it. Be the sun, not the wind. Watch what a man does when his effort actually lands on a woman. He usually will double it. Number 5: She let him lead, even though he wasn't perfect at it. Sarah sees the guy she's been eyeing and walks up to him, trying her best to be flirty, and says, Let's dance. She grabs his hand and pulls him onto the dance floor. And once they're out there, she's directing. She's placing his hands. She's choosing the rhythm. She's basically choreographing the whole thing. Meanwhile, a man walks up to Grace and says, would you like to dance? And she says, I'd love to. Not, sure, I guess. Not, only if you're a good dancer. Just authentic warmth and openness. And when they start dancing, she lets him lead. She doesn't know what move is coming next, and she's okay with that. She settles into his frame, follows his direction, but she's still fully expressed within the dance, connected to herself. She's smiling, she's enjoying, and she's present. And here's the thing. He's not a great dancer. He's a little clumsy, actually. He steps on her foot once, but she just laughs and keeps going. And in that moment, he feels 10 feet tall because she just did the most attractive thing a woman can do. She trusted him. She let him lead, even though he wasn't perfect at it. And her enjoyment of the dance made him want to be a better dancer for her. That is polarity in motion. The masculine leads, the feminine follows. But the feminine following isn't passive. It's an art. In ballroom dancing, the follow is the one who makes the dance beautiful. The lead provides the frame, the structure, the direction, but the follow provides the beauty, the expression, the feeling. 2 people trying to lead the same dance doesn't create romance. Let him drive the car, even if he takes a wrong turn. Your trust is the electricity for his GPS that keeps him wanting to take you somewhere beautiful. Number six, telling is for employees. Asking is for a man you admire. Respect is to a man's commitment what oxygen is to fire. Ephesians 5:33 says, "Husbands love your wives, and wives respect your husbands." Notice it commands each one to give exactly what the other starves without. Women most want to be cherished and adored. Men most want to be trusted and respected. A great rule of thumb with this to help is to never tell. Always ask. Telling is for employees. Asking is for a man you admire. Take out the trash and, could I have some help with the trash tonight? Gets the same trash bag to the same curb, but one shrinks him, the other turns him into your hero. Here's a second one that almost nobody does, and it might be the most powerful thing in this entire video. Brag about him when in front of other people. At dinner with friends, say, you should have seen how he handled the whole mess with my car last week. Then watch his shoulders. A man will run through a wall for a woman who makes him look good in public. And do it behind his back too, because it always finds its way home to him. Respect's evil twin is the fix-him project. Every fix-him project he detects says one thing to him: she doesn't respect who I am. This isn't Build-A-Boyfriend, and he's not a teddy bear. He's a man, and no man has ever committed to a woman who treats him like an Easy-Bake Oven or an erector set. Goethe put it this way, treat a man as he is and he stays as he is. Treat a man as he can be and he becomes it. That's the whole plot of Beauty and the Beast. One woman refused to see a monster and the beast became a prince. Your respect doesn't describe your man. It helps build him towards that in a real way. Number 7, staying steady is not staying silent.
The next words to say instead of getting mad at him are the powerful words, I feel. Whenever you share the words, I feel, you're opening up your heart as a woman. You are expressing your feminine energy, which will draw him to you, which will make him feel you, because a man ultimately wants to feel your heart. He wants to feel your open, available, vulnerable feminine heart, which brings up this feeling of warmth for him. It's like him being able to witness the glow of the sun on his face. Being able to feel that energy that is so magnetic.
It's like a little kitten.
It just feels adorable. It feels like he wants to protect you in that moment rather than continuing to fight and push against you and have this armor up. He wants to actually maybe push against you in a good way and kiss you or make out with you or hold you or hug you. So it's a totally different energy that you can create in a man when you use the words I feel because it's about yourself. It's not about him. And Because when you share those emotions, he wants to feel the whole spectrum. Even if you're feeling quote unquote negative emotions at the time, like anger, sadness, anxiety, he wants to feel that as well as the bliss and the happiness and the gratitude and the joy, et cetera. So use that phrase, I feel, which is also the feminine expression, rather than saying I think. Share with him how you're feeling. I'm feeling some sadness right now. I'm feeling some anxiety and I don't know what to do. Or, I'm feeling really grateful for us being able to talk about these things in a deep way. Or, I feel tired right now. I need to get some space. I need to go take a break, and then we can talk later. Does that sound good to you? Does that sound okay with you? So these are powerful phrases you can use to give yourself some space as well and actually feel into what are you feeling in on your body to tap into that when before you might have been up in your head getting angry, getting triggered, thinking about what you're going to say next. Go into your body, feel into it, feel your breath in your lungs like my wife likes to say, or your butt on the chair. Get into your body, your feet on the ground, and actually pay attention to what is your body feeling right now. What are the sensations in your gut, in your heart? And then share that with him with that simple statement, I feel, and you often don't have to add anything else beyond that except that simple phrase.
Number 8, he is not staying because you are impressive. He is staying because you are a light to be around. Back to the party. The night is winding down. Sarah is exhausted, not from dancing, from performing. She'd been on for 4 hours straight, leading conversations, proving her worth, trying to be interesting, managing impressions. She feels depleted because she gave all night. She gave energy, gave information, gave effort, but nobody gave back. Because masculine energy gives and feminine energy receives. And when you're doing all the giving, you're not leaving any space for a man to step into his role and give to you. She checks her phone. No new texts. No one asked to see her again. And she's genuinely confused because by an objective measure, she's a catch. Smart, successful, beautiful, But here's the hard truth with this. You can be a 10 on paper and a 2 in feminine energy. Hotness is not a checklist, it's a frequency. And Sarah was broadcasting on the wrong station all night long. She was trying to hunt when she was designed to attract, like a flower strapping on hiking boots and a bow and arrow, charging through the forest looking for bees. That's not how this works. That's like showing up to a ballroom dance in an army outfit, shouting orders at people through a megaphone. The bee was designed to come to you. Your only job is to bloom. Meanwhile, Grace is putting on her coat, and 2 different men approach her to say goodnight. One of them asks if he can take her out to coffee next week. She didn't perform for this. She didn't strategize for it. She didn't spend the night hunting. She spent the night being present, being warm, having fun, being in her feminine, and the masculine responded the way it was designed to respond. It pursued, it initiated, it came to the flower. Number 9, following his lead is beautiful. Following it when you hate it is not.
Now, it crosses the line when it becomes too much, when you are actually submitting to his leadership even though you don't enjoy it. As long as you're enjoying the process, as long as you're enjoying the relationship, And it feels good to you, then keep following his lead because that's a healthy polarized relationship. Keep enjoying it. And if you don't want to, if it doesn't feel good to you anymore, then you need to step back. You need to set that boundary with yourself. You need to get that space just like in a dance. Like, no, I'm good. I think I'm done dancing for now. Because otherwise then you're complying. You're doing something even if it doesn't feel good to you. You're complying with his leadership. You're doing what he wants. Even if it feels like you're going against yourself, you're going against your own judgment, you're doing something that you don't enjoy, and that is being nice. That is you trying to please him, and that is going to be a problem because ultimately you're devaluing yourself, and a man is going to feel that. A man can sense when a woman isn't really holding her own worth and holding her own value, and she's lowering her standards because she's so afraid of losing a man. That's going to be a problem because that's going to be something energetic a man will feel. That'll cause him unconsciously to stop valuing that woman as much. He'll start to see her as a lower value woman, as somebody who's just maybe a friends with benefits, or just the nice girl that he's talking to online, or just the, um, woman that he's, uh, you know, has spends time with, or a friend, you know, maybe without the benefits, just a friend, but not like a romantic partner, not his woman that he wants to claim and get married to, like wifey material.
Number 10, she only chooses the man who chooses her first.
Women often get caught in this horrible cycle where they're constantly running after men who don't want them. They're picking men who are emotionally unavailable, who are not giving them the attention that they want, who are not committing, who are not investing in the relationship. And it creates this cat and mouse chase. And what happens is your brain will actually misinterpret feelings of anxiety, fear, emotional withdrawal as attraction. Because those butterflies, those feelings in the stomach can be very easy to interpret as, oh, I really like this person versus I'm feeling anxious and I'm not really getting my needs met here. And it happens because of your attachment wounds, often because of things that happen in childhood where you weren't getting the love you craved from your dad or your mom or some early childhood romantic experiences. And so we call it attracts anxiety, the confusion of the brain. And the way that you can start to heal that Is to start to reverse that pattern and start to only choose men who choose you first. Men who have shown interest in you, who have pursued you, who have invested in the relationship, and ultimately who have committed to you first. Meaning that your life will then become easy. You're no longer having to wonder and having to chase, chase, chase and make them like you. Now you are becoming the chooser. You are becoming the qualifier. You are in the position of being the prize, which is going to make your life a lot easier.
At the end of the day, understand we're all learning and growing. Give yourself grace in this process, but also give yourself standards.
