Six sex positions that men hate. I'm Kevin Anthony from Magnetize youe man. And I am a certified sexologist, NLP practitioner, and sex, love and relationship coach. And for over a decade, I have been helping men, women and couples have the relationship of their dreams and the best sex of their lives. Here we go. Number six. It is the woman on top. I know some of you ladies are going to be disappointed because I know some of you really love being on top. Of course you really love being on top because it gives you control, control of the angle, the depth, the speed, right? And so you can do things that feel good. You know, if you move a certain way, you're like, oh, yeah, that's the spot, right? But for some men, they tend to not like the woman on top so much because they don't actually have control themselves. Now, interestingly enough, when I am teaching couples, you know, how to shift the way they make love and the positions they use in order to help him last longer, I will often not recommend the woman on top because he doesn't have any control over what's going on. And if you're not really, really in tune with where he's at on his arousal scale, you can very quickly and very easily take him over the top into ejaculation long before you actually want him to. So that is a potential concern. Some men, depending on the way their penis curves, can sometimes find a little discomfort in woman and top, but that's a bit less common. I personally love it when a woman is on top. I do love to be on top and in 100% control as well. But just because I'm on the bottom when she is on top does not mean that I can't have control. I can hold onto her hips, right? I can move her around. I am generally strong enough to be able to pick her up and move her places and move her body around so she doesn't even have to do all the work even though she's on top. So I personally love that position, but apparently some men are a little challenged with it. Number five, a modified doggy style. So modified doggy style basically is a doggy style, but rather than having the woman up on her knees, she's kind of more laying flat on the bed. The main reason cited for why men don't like modified doggy style is just because it's awkward and it's a difficult position for them to be in. This is going to depend slightly on the man and his physical body. Maybe his age, maybe his weight. Those types of Things will definitely have an effect. I personally do not have a problem with modified doggy style. Sometimes actually, it's really fun. But again, the strength, fitness level, and age of the man is going to impact this significantly. But I was surprised to see this on multiple lists of, from different sources of positions that men don't like that much. Number four is a standing position. There's very obvious reasons for this. A lot of times men don't like standing positions because they're hard. In other words, we are generally holding her up in some way, and it's just physically challenging. In many cases, the man is focusing so much on, you know, trying not to fall over or making sure he doesn't drop her or trying to get the right angle for penetration. That's a big complaint from a lot of men with standing positions that the angle of penetration is difficult, that they're not even really focused on the act itself because they're too in their head about, I can't do this or I'm worried about dropping her, this, that, or the other thing. So a lot of times men don't like standing positions. I think this is also, of course, influenced by the size differential between the two people. So, you know, if she's significantly smaller than he is, it does present challenges when it comes to standing positions. Although if the. If the size, weight, height difference is really, really big, then it actually might make it easier if she's, like, super small. You know, he's 6 foot tall and 240 pounds, and she's 5 foot 1 and weighs, you know, 105 pounds. Like, it'll be easy for him to hold her up and throw her around in any way. But short of that, it can actually cause some problems, too, because, for instance, let's say, you know, you want to bend her over the counter, right? But you're way taller than she is. Like, now you're trying to squat down, you know, and use all that leg muscle energy to be in a position where you can actually penetrate her, or she's going to end up, you know, on her tippy toes, getting calf cramp muscle, calf muscle cramps and things like that. So those are some of the reasons why a lot of times men don't like doing standing positions. Now would be a good time to mention that. If you're not familiar with what reverse cowgirl is, although I think pretty much everybody is, it's simply the woman on top, but she is turned away. Again, this is on the list because the men don't have control. But it's also on the list because this one actually can. Depending on which way your penis tends to bend, this one can actually kind of bend it in an awkward way that is uncomfortable. Sometimes women like it because the way that the penis does bend will hit certain areas inside their vagina that are very pleasurable. But sometimes it can be a little bit uncomfortable for men. The other thing is too, you know, if, if you are moving up and down a lot and you're getting close to the possibility that his penis could slip out in this position, it can be rather dangerous because if it does slip out and you come back down, it will really bend it in an awkward way. So that's really the main reason why this one ranks on the list of positions that men tend to not like. Again, every one of these positions that I've talked about I think are great. I personally enjoy. So not every man is going to hate these positions, but these are some reasons why some men don't like them. Alright, number two is spooning position. This is where the man is behind the woman. And we all know what spooning is. We tend to cuddle that way a lot. But men tend to not like the spooning position for a couple of reasons. Number one, if she isn't really turned on and really wet, penetration from that angle is rather difficult. Two, penetration generally is not very deep in that position unless you start to kind of move yourselves apart a little bit and create a different angle. But in the spooning position, it's generally a shallower penetration. And then of course, there's just a lot less movement in that one. So men tend to rank this one pretty low on the list. But honestly, you know, it's one of those positions that has its time and place. I don't think this is, you know, like, yeah, baby, let's have sex. Okay, let's start with spooning. You know, you might start that way because you're cuddling first and you're touching each other, using your hands on each other, that sort of thing. And you Might start that way, kind of slowly and gently, and then you'll progress into something else. It's also a good position, you know, when you're both really, really tired. Neither of you wants to be on top, holding each other. You're holding yourselves up or each other up, whatever, and putting a lot of energy into it. It can be a really sweet position for that. But I don't think it's one that a lot of men really like to do regularly. I would say save it for those moments where it's appropriate. One of the benefits, of course, to it is it's just a really sweet position, right? I mean, spooning is always a sweet position. When he's got his arms wrapped around you, maybe he's kissing the back of your neck, maybe he's holding onto your breasts or touching your breasts. It can just be a really sweet position. So I wouldn't say, don't ever do it. Just use it appropriately. And the number one position that guys hate is. Drumroll. Anything too complicated? No, Literally, that's what it says. I was researching this. That came up a lot. Apparently, men do not like particularly complicated positions. And I think the reason for that really is complicated positions usually require us to be doing some awkward thing where we're trying to hold her in some position and move our hips at the same time, and it's just hard. Unfortunately, our society today is not in the greatest shape. And so these types of complicated positions can be very physically challenging. And, of course, age is a factor as well. As we get older, some of those complicated positions can be really hard to get into because we're just not as flexible as we used to be. So that ranks very, very, very high on the list as far as positions that men don't like, which is really anything that is just too complicated.
