Have you ever found yourself wondering what comes first with a man? Does he lose respect for you and then fall out of love? Or does he fall out of love first and then his respect disappears? Here's what you may be focused on. How to be more attractive, more desirable, more exciting, more beautiful. But the brutal truth is this. It's not attraction that keeps a man devoted, committed, and in love with you for the long term. It's also him valuing you. And once a man's perception of you shifts when. Once his value for you drops, everything about how he treats you completely changes. So today we're going to talk about the subtle behaviors that quietly make him value you less, even when he still may like you or even love you. I'm Brody Boyd with Magnetize youe man. And today I'm walking you through seven things that quietly kill a man's perception of value for you. And once you know what they are and you start shifting your energy, you'll stop lowering your value in his eyes and start showing up as the woman he deeply needs. Number one, Accepting his low effort without speaking up vulnerably. Look, I see this constantly. He cancels plans. He doesn't text back for days. He shows up late with some lame excuse about needing to wash his pet hamster's hair. And you. You say nothing. You tell yourself, I don't want to be needy. I don't want to be too much. But here's what's happening. When you accept repeated low effort behavior from him, you're training him. That effort is optional. And from a man's perspective, when there's no consequences, there's no urgency. Now, I'm not saying you need to attack him or turn into his debt collector, calling about emotional payments that are overdue with interest. I'm saying you speak up vulnerably, using magnetic feminine communication. One of my clients was dating a new man early on. He would sometimes go quiet for days, and the old version of her would have spiraled out, analyzing his text response times like she was cracking the nuclear launch codes, but. But instead, she texted him, may I share something with you? He said, sure. She wrote, I feel anxious. And then she waited. And he asked why she responded. When I didn't hear from you for a few days, I told myself a story that I'm not a priority to you and I'm not sure what to do. You know what happened? He drove to her house that night. They had a real conversation, and everything shifted. Not because she demanded change, but because she shared her real heart. With him, when you stay silent, you're telling him your feelings don't matter, and that quietly kills his respect faster than anything else. Number two is holding on tightly to him instead of letting go. Now, this may sound backwards to you, but the masculine actually holds on and achieves outcomes. The feminine lets go and detaches from outcomes. Now, when you're gripping him and feeling like you're in a limbo competition, bending over backwards so much that chiropractors are sending you Christmas cards, you're in your masculine energy. And masculine energy repels masculine energy. Think of it like holding a beach ball underwater. You're using all of your energy to keep it submerged, and that's exhausting, right? Well, the moment you release it, it naturally floats up to the surface, floats up to the sunshine. That's feminine polarity. But when you're constantly checking your phone, FBI investigating his Instagram so hard, even the agents are like, man, we need to stop now. Texting him 47 times to make sure he's still interested. You're pushing him away. Remember, you're the flame, not the moth. But you're out here chasing him with a flamethrower, saying, why don't you love me? Why don't you love me? The masculine controls. The feminine surrenders. And in Genesis, it says, let there be light, and there was light. God didn't chase the light. He released it. He let it be. When you let go and when you trust yourself enough to know that if he's not right, you'll survive, then that's when you become magnetic. That's when his respect goes through the roof. Number three is you're trying to earn his respect through your achievements instead of embodying feminine value. You've probably got the degrees, the career, the corner office, maybe the paycheck. And that's incredible. But here's the politically incorrect truth that may trigger you. A man doesn't fall in love with your resume when it comes to romantic value. He's not thinking, wow, she makes six figures and has three degrees. I better wife her up right now. That's not how masculine energy works. Masculine energy is attracted to feminine energy. The law of polarity states that opposite energies attract. So when you're constantly in your boss babe mode, achieving, doing, proving, competing, you're creating the opposite of attraction. Actually. Now, I'm not saying quit your job. I'm saying that when you're with your man, you. You shift gears. Feel about this at work. You may be the general. You're leading meetings, solving problems, telling People what to do. That's your masculine, and that's great for your paycheck, but when you come home and if you're still in general mode, barking orders, critiquing his every move, you're not creating polarity. You're conducting a hostile takeover. As it says in Proverbs 31, the virtuous woman's husband praises her. Not her achievements, her. Her character, her heart, her feminine essence. Your value to him isn't what you do, it's who you are. Let's say that again for the people in the back. Your value to him isn't what you do. It is who you are. It's your ability to receive his love, to trust his leadership, to respect his masculine core, and to open your heart vulnerably and let your feminine radiant core and feminine energy shine. That's what makes him feel like a man and makes you feel like a woman. That's what creates feminine value. Number four is walking on eggshells and not sharing your feelings with him. If you really like a guy, there's a big chance that you're so terrified of scaring him away that you suppress everything. You're feeling anxious, sad, frustrated. But you don't say anything because you think if you share this, he'll think you're too needy or too dramatic. But here's what you need to understand. A man can't value what he can't feel. When you hide your emotions, when you're walking around with a fake smile, when you're. While your heart is breaking, he can sense something's off. It feels inauthentic, and that creates distance. The masculine thinks, the feminine feels. That's the polarity. When you share your feelings vulnerably, you give him access to your heart. That's creating the magnetism. Now, the caveat with this is there's a right way and a wrong way to do this. The wrong way is dumping your emotions on him with blame. You made me feel this way. You never text me. You never. You're always ghosting on me. You're making me cry. You're making me feel sad. That's masculine energy attacking in attack mode. The feminine way of sharing this is not penetrative. It is open. It is sharing the raw emotion without blame. If you just started dating a man and he keeps canceling dates, the old way you may have handled this would have been either saying nothing or exploding. Instead, the new way is where you say, could I share something with you? I'm feeling some sadness when you canceled our Plans again. I told myself that maybe I'm not important to you. May I ask what you think about that? When you don't speak up and you walk on eggshells, he never gets to be your hero. He never gets to feel needed. And a man needs to feel needed. As Jesus said in Matthew 5:37, Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Be honest. Share your real heart with him. Number five, not asking for help and trying to do everything yourself. Ms. Independent. Ms. I can do it all myself. Ms. I don't need no man. You've been programmed to believe needing help is weakness. But in masculine feminine polarity, asking for help is actually the ultimate feminine superpower. This isn't a build a boyfriend workshop where you stuff him with new commitment stuffing and make him want to marry me voice box. This is about learning to receive for yourself. When you refuse to ask for help, when you're carrying your own bags, opening your own doors, fixing everything yourself, you're robbing him of being the masculine hero for you. Men. Men fall in love through giving, through getting to express their masculine energy to you, not through receiving. When he helps you, when he solves a problem for you, he gets to feel valued, needed, respected. And that makes him want to do even more for you. One of our clients, Avni, was the ultimate independent woman. She'd done personal development work for 10 years, but couldn't attract a relationship to save her life. Why? Because she never needed anyone. When she finally learned to ask her now husband for help with small things, she could you grab that for me? May I ask for your opinion on something? Everything shifted for her and now they're happily married with two kids. As it says in Ecclesiastes 4, 9, 10. Two are better than one, for if they fall, one will lift up the other. You're not meant to do this alone. Ask for help. That's real feminine strength. Number six is complying with things that don't feel good to you. Now, this is an example of unhealthy submission. And it's a strong way to make a man value you less. Let me be very clear. Healthy submission is following his lead as long as it feels good and is good for you. Like that Patti LaBelle song. If you ask me to, you know, the energy is, I'll do what you want as long as it's pleasurable and good for me. But unhealthy submission, that's doing things that violate your own boundaries, that hurt you just to keep the peace and just to try to make him happy. That's not healthy submission. That's. That's being a doormat. And men don't respect doormats. Think of the dance analogy. In a ballroom dance, the masculine leads, the feminine is following. But if he's stepping on your toes, if he's leading in a way that hurts you, you don't just keep dancing. You speak up, you share, this doesn't feel good to me. And if he continues, you stop dancing with him. I had a client who was dating a man who kept saying one thing but then doing another with her. The old version of her just went along with it, didn't say anything, even even though she was actually resentful and hurt inside. Then she finally got the courage to speak up vulnerably to him. Can I share a feeling I'm having with you? I'm feeling some confusion and frustration when you said you were going to do this, but then you did this. I'm telling myself a story that I can't rely on your word, and I'm not sure what to do. Can I have some help with that? They had a deep conversation about it, and he didn't get defensive. He actually started being consistent with her. He started working on that. He made real changes because she showed up and showed him that. That she values herself. Here's one of the deepest truths with this. A queen believes that her feelings are valuable. She also believes that she's worthy to ask for what she wants. The doormat sacrifices her needs to keep the peace. The queen is the perfect balance between the doormat on one side and the more aggressive type, which we'll call the bitch. So the queen is feminine and graceful, but she also values herself enough to speak up and. And be true to herself. And here's what's wild. When you stop complying with things that don't feel good or are not good for you, when you share vulnerably, instead, men value you more, not less. They lean in and they actually start stepping up. Romans 12:2 says, do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. So stop conforming to his bad behavior. Instead, transform and renew yourself. And renew your mind by setting healthy standards and boundaries within yourself. Number seven is staying in your masculine boss babe. Energy from work when you're with him. Look, you may spend all day at work being the boss, leading meetings, solving problems, directing people even. That's your masculine energy, and that's great for your career. But when you bring that energy home, you're killing the polarity Masculine energy is about doing. Feminine energy is about being at work. You get to be the protector, provider, leader. But in romance, those are his job. When you're telling him what to do, criticizing him, solving the problems yourself, you're creating competition, not attraction. Think about the sperm and the egg. They don't compete with each other, they complement each other. The sperm chases, the egg attracts, the sperm penetrates, the egg receives. That's biology. And that's what creates life. My wife, auntie and I have been married for 11 years. And when we first got together, she'd leave her office after helping women all day, still in helper mode, trying to fix coach me. And I could feel it. I could feel like she was treating me like a client, not her man. Once we became more aware of these dynamics, when she got off of work, she would literally change out of her work clothes, change into something soft, take a bath, get into her body, whatever it took to shift her energy. Because now there was space for me to lead and be more in my masculine and for her to receive and at home. So when you come home from work, create a transition ritual. Maybe it's putting on a dress instead of your Hillary Clinton pantsuit, maybe it's doing some jazzercise or pole dancing to get you into your body. Maybe it's lighting some soft candles, putting on a bubble bath and playing some Kenny G. Whatever it takes to help you to shift from masculine into your femme. Because when you show up soft, open, receptive, vulnerable, expressive, playful, that's when he can lead, that's when polarity happens, and that's when he values that connection the most. Alright, so those are the seven things that quietly kill a man's respect and value for you. Now, before I go, something I've noticed in the comments is that you really enjoy when I share actual before and after communication examples. So here's another one from last week. My client hadn't heard from a man for over a week. She was about to send. Hey, just checking in since I haven't heard from you. I know you're probably super busy with work. No worries at all. Just let me know when you have some time to catch up. So what do you notice about this message? Well, the first thing is she's chasing, she's giving him excuses, she's saying no worries when clearly there are some worries. So we shifted it to this. May I share something? When I didn't hear from you for over a week, I told myself that maybe I'm not a priority to you and I'm curious if I can have some help with that. Then she left it at that and waited for his response. Feel the difference? The first is chasing and explaining and justifying. The second is vulnerable and actually her authentic truth. He called her within an hour. He apologized, he he asked her out that weekend because she stopped being his mom and started valuing herself. If you find these helpful then let me know in the comments and I'll keep sharing them.
