A man is not going to feel a strong sexual passion towards his mother. I mean, Freud would say differently, but there's not going to be typically a strong level of attraction and chemistry and passion that's created if you treat a man like he's your child. By doing things for him, by trying to meet his needs, trying to make him happy, trying to provide for him, give him things, give him gifts, do everything for him, lead the relationship forward, make decisions for him, try to be his therapist. Even that's not going to create strong attraction, interest, chemistry and polarity long term. So stop that. Stop treating him like a child and start to see within him the strong, powerful, masculine man that exists. Because again, every man has a masculine core at his center. And unless he's a deeply broken man and he has deep traumas and wounds, like a narcissist, a sociopath, a deeply avoidant attachment style, then he's going to be activated within his masculine core. When you start treating him like an empowered, respectable man, sometimes you have to show him unconditional respect in order to get that unconditional love back.
