A coach suggests how to address a partner's distance by using vulnerable, feminine communication instead of accusatory texts. Rather than asking "what's going on," try "May I ask if we can talk on the phone once you're off of work?" to create space for real conversation.

I would not recommend sending a text just asking him what's going on. That's actually masculine energy. What we want to do is share your feelings. So you want to have a magnetic, feminine conversation with him, which will teach you how to do and help you script it out, to share your feelings with him about the whole situation and ask for help. And so instead of asking him what's going on, a better question would be, may I ask if we can talk on the phone once you're off of work tonight? Or may I please ask if we could talk on the phone when you're off of work? Or just. You don't even need to say that. Just say, may, ask if we can talk on the phone when you're next available.
