A coach tells someone stuck on a person who won't commit: if he's not sure you're the one, he's not the one. Choose yourself instead of trying to convince him. He might come around later, but by then you'll have found something better.
Chapters
You supposed to move on from your person when you know that they're your person and for whatever reason you can't be together? But how are you supposed to just make that decision and just be with someone else when you don't want to be with anyone else? You know, like, it's just really difficult.
If they don't know that they are your person, they are not your person, they need to be the one to decide and claim you. If they haven't done that, then they've clearly shown they aren't your person. And so if you're caught in a situation where you feel like you're having to convince a man, you're having to convince a guy to give you what you need, you're obviously not in a healthy situation, in a situation that's going to lead you to ultimately having what you want. So unfortunately, it's going to be painful, but ultimately you have to look at is this person choosing me? And if not, I'm going to choose myself, I'm going to live my life, move forward, and if they come around and do choose me, that's always a possibility. But by that point, I'm probably already found something much better.
