A short coaching monologue arguing that women's unconscious low self-worth causes them to attract selfish, ungiving men. The speaker claims that if a woman does not feel deserving of a 'heroic' masculine partner who gives and provides, she will unconsciously repel such men and instead display controlling or mothering behaviors to obtain care.

Attracting selfish, ungiving men is often a reflection of a woman's own lack of self worth. So here's the gist with this. If you feel that you're not really worthy, deep down inside in your unconscious, if you feel that you're not, or believe that you're not really worthy to have a man being your hero, a healthy masculine man, an attractive man that you want, if you don't feel worthy of having him be your hero and, and give and provide for you and want to make you happy, and all you have to do is really be vulnerable and receive that love, that care and devotion, then you're only going to attract selfish, ungiving feminine men who are not wanting to be a hero for you, because unconsciously, you don't really believe that you deserve it. And that'll come across in many different ways. For example, being more masculine, if you don't believe that you really deserve to receive a man's love and care, then you're going to start doing that for yourself. You're going to start trying to get it from him, start trying to control him. And that's usually why women will engage in mothering behaviors and controlling and manipulative behaviors with men, is they're trying to lead him to give them what they want because they don't feel like they're deserving to just have him give it on his own.
