The top reasons that men disappear. Hey, everybody. In this video, I'm going to be talking about some of the top reasons why men will suddenly disappear. You know, one of the most common questions that I get from women is we were talking, everything seemed like it was going fine, or we went out on a date and it went really well, and then boom, he just disappeared. And I don't understand it. So that's what we're going to talk about in this video. We're going to go into some. Some of the top reasons why men will disappear. I'm Kevin Anthony. I am a certified sexologist, NLP practitioner and sex love and relationship coach. And for over 10 years, I have been helping men, women and couples have the relationship of their dreams and the best sex of their lives. Okay, I have seven reasons. And number seven is he has come up against his own trauma. Sometimes relationships will stir things up a little bit. They will put issues in front of your face that either you didn't know you had or you thought you had already dealt with and were no longer there. And they can be rather difficult. Now, some people, when that happens, they go, okay, I thought I had dealt with that, and apparently I haven't because it's back again and I'm just going to sort of re engage it and deal with it while I continue on in this relationship. But not everybody reacts that way. And unfortunately, what some people do is they retreat. So you've heard of fight, flight or freeze. Some people get into that flight. And when a relationship triggers something in them, whether it was done on purpose or even consciously by the other party or not, sometimes it can be more than some people can handle, and they will go into flight mode and they will simply disappear. Number six. The grass is always greener on the other side. Or so some people think. What do I mean by that one? Well, what I have seen happen from time to time is that, you know, a man will be in a relationship early on and the relationship is meeting some of his needs, maybe not all of his needs. And he's constantly thinking, could it be better over here or could it be better over here? Or what about her over there? What about her over there? And unfortunately, this will lead a man to not commit to his current relationship and then potentially sort of disappear because he's actually off pursuing another relationship. It's obviously not good behavior. And I would say that any man who does that is a man that you don't want to be in relationship with anyway. However, it is a potential reason why he suddenly disappeared in Other words, you guys went on out on a date or two, you were having some conversations, and then suddenly that all stopped and he's given you no communication as to why. Well, one of the reasons might be that he decided that I think maybe this woman over here might be a better fit. Whether or not he knows that likely what will happen is in that other relationship that he starts, he'll end up doing the same thing over there and over there. Because recurring pattern that some men get into. But that is one potential reason why he has disappeared. All right. Number five is fear of commitment. This is an interesting one. You know, it still persists to this day, this idea that committing to a relationship, being monogamous or getting married or whatever it is, somehow means for men a loss of freedom. And so they're fine in a relationship when it feels kind of loose and casual, but once it starts to get serious and she's looking at him to potentially make a commitment, then they suddenly disappear. If there are any men watching this, even though I know that this video is geared towards women, you have to understand that being in a committed relationship does not mean losing your freedom in any way, and not if it's a good, healthy relationship. In a healthy relationship, yes, you have the construct of the relationship that is created between the two of you, but you still also have your individuality in that relationship. So this idea that the individual cease to exist and all you have is the relationship and that somehow you get controlled by that simply isn't true in a healthy, emotionally mature adult relationship. So there's no reason to have a fear of commitment. If this is the right person for you, and you are meant to be in this relationship, and you are both mature adults, then there's no loss of freedom. So there shouldn't be a fear of commitment. I work a lot with trying to get this point out to men, trying to get them to understand, trying to get them to make better choices when choosing a woman so that they don't feel like they're trapped in a relationship and that they've lost their freedom. Unfortunately, there's still quite a few men out there who believe that old idea. So one other reason why he may have disappeared is things started to get serious and he got scared, feeling like he was going to lose his freedom, and he bailed. Number four, he doesn't know how to handle the feelings that he is having. It is unfortunate but true that a lot of men really don't know how to handle their emotions. A lot of it comes from, you know, the time we're very young. We're young boys, and we're being told, you know, men don't cry, or men don't feel this, or we have to suppress our emotions or, you know, suck it up, be tough, all that kind of stuff. There is some value in teaching young boys how to be strong. It's a difficult world. It's a hard world. It's a world that has no mercy in some respects. So we do need to learn how to be strong. Tough men, however, not at the expense, of course, of suppressing our emotions and then not learning how to deal with them. Unfortunately, that's the place a lot of men are in. And so they might end up in a relationship where they're feeling really strong emotions. Sometimes the strong emotion that they're actually feeling is love. And it's the first time in their entire life, lives that they felt actual, genuine, real love. And they don't know what to do with it. They literally don't know what to do with it. They don't even understand that that's what they're feeling because they have no frame of reference. I have heard this from men many times. In fact, most of the time they won't say, well, I was experiencing love, but I just didn't know it. No, they won't say that at all. They'll talk all around it, and they'll say all these different things about, I don't know, and there's just this weird feeling and blah, blah. But if you really listen, you listen in between the words that they're saying, especially if you've experienced it yourself, what you realize is you felt love. You felt genuine love for the first time in your life. But that sometimes freaks some guys out because they don't know what it is. They've never experienced it before. They don't know how to handle it. It makes them feel extremely uncomfortable. And unfortunately, sometimes that does not lead to them disappearing. All right, Number three reason that men disappear is he was never all that into you to begin with. It's hard to hear, and it's even hard to tell you, but sometimes that's true. Sometimes you, as a woman may be so into him that you're not seeing the signs that he's not really that into you. And so when he does disappear, you're left going, I don't get it. I don't understand it. It was going so well, and we had so much in common, and I thought we were, you know, enjoying each other. But the reality is, he may not have been all that into you. And he may not have been that invested in the relationship to begin with. So it's easy for him to just disappear and bow out when either things get a little difficult or, you know, grass is greener on the other side or any of those other things we've already talked about come up. Number two reason, he came across a different deal breaker. So deal breakers, of course, are things that are in a relationship that we are an absolute no to. So hence the term deal breaker. Like, if this actually exists here in this relationship, I'm a no and I'm out. The problem is, is that men don't always voice those things because if they did, if they said, whoa, okay, something just came up for me here, we need to have a talk about it. You know, let's talk like two emotionally mature adults. You know, you said this thing, or, you know, this thing occurred, whatever it is. And for me, that is something that is really a deal breaker. You know, was that just a freak occurrence? Is that how you really feel? Is, you know, is that super important to you to hold on to that? Whatever it is, you should be having a conversation about it. However, a lot of men are not particularly good communicators. And if there's emotions tied up in it too, they may not know what those emotions are or how to handle them, as we talked about previously. And they may just go, you know, it's a deal breaker and I'm out. And you may never even know that it was a deal breaker because he didn't communicate it to you. But that is another potential reason. And the number one reason why he disappeared is he met somebody else. Now, you know, this is a little bit more in the dating space, although, you know, generally men don't disappear when they've been in a long term committed relationship. Generally there's something that happens that you're at least aware somewhat of before they bow out of the relationship. But in dating, it happens all the time in dating, on both sides, men and women just disappear. I mean, we have the term ghosting for a reason. It's not just when you're having a few text conversations and they disappear. It happens when dating too. Like, you go out on a date and then you end the date and you're like, oh, I would really like to see you again. Yeah, I'd really like to see you again too. And then they just disappear. Right? So one of the reasons for that is they met somebody else. And the reality is that in the dating space, everybody, you're probably doing the same thing. You're talking to multiple people at a time. You're gauging which one has the potential to go somewhere. So you're probably interacting on online dating sites with multiple people, and so is he. And he's having different conversations. He's going out on different dates. Now, again, a mature man is going to get back to the women he's dating and say, you know, I've been going on, you know, dates. I'm in the dating process much like you are. And I met somebody that I think really has the most potential, that I really relate to the most, and I would like to go pursue that. But I just wanted to let you know that I. I really enjoyed the time we spent together. And I wish you luck in the future or something along those lines. A mature man would actually have that conversation. Unfortunately, a lot of men don't, and they literally just ghost everybody else and put their attention on the one that they've chosen. So there you go. There are some reasons, some top reasons that men disappear. I hope that you found that helpful.
