Welcome and thank you for joining us today. This presentation is designed for families and guardians who want to learn how to find approved providers and reserve services using the Marketplace in EMA. We'll walk through the process step by step, so even if this is your first time logging in, you'll know exactly what to do by the end. To get started, log in to your EMA account using your username and password. Once you're logged in, you'll arrive at your dashboard, which which shows important information about your student and available funds. On the left side of your dashboard, you'll see a menu. Click on Marketplace and then select Find Providers. This is where you'll search for approved service providers such as therapists, tutors, or other educational service vendors. Before searching for a provider, it's important to select the correct student. Use the dropdown menu to choose the student who will be receiving the service. This ensures the service is connected to the right account and funding source. After selecting your student, you can search for providers in two ways: use the drop-down menus to browse by category, or type the provider's name directly into the search bar if you already know who you're looking for. Both options will show you approved providers in the marketplace. Once you find your provider, you'll need to select a location from the drop-down menu. After choosing a location, you can begin adding services to your student's account. Next, review the provider's available services. Choose the service you want, select the quantity, and click Add to Cart. Please remember, you can only reserve services up to the available balance in your account. Once the service is added, you'll see a confirmation message letting you know it was successfully added to your cart. When you're ready, click on the shopping cart icon in the top right corner of your screen. Take a moment to review your selections. If everything looks correct, click Reserve Funds. At this point, Emma will ask for permission to share your contact information with the provider. Select Yes and click Confirm. This step allows the provider to contact you to schedule services. You'll now see a confirmation screen showing that your funds have been successfully reserved. This means the money is set aside for that service. Please remember, it is your responsibility to reach out to the provider directly to schedule and use the services you reserved. If you have questions or need help at any point, support is available Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time. Chat with us at suffs.org. Call us at 877-735-7837. We're here to support you and your student every step of the way.
