The excerpt is a Spanish‑language poetic monologue performed by Speaker A during the Bachata Fusion demo by York & Lisa at the Budapest Bachata Festival 2024. The speaker expresses deep loss and yearning, recalling a love that cannot be forgotten, reflecting on the impermanence of relationships, and invoking vivid imagery of price, vices, and final embraces. The passage blends traditional Bachata emotional themes with contemporary lyrical phrasing, serving both as an artistic expression within the performance and as a cultural showcase of Spanish‑language sentiment at an international dance festival.

Sabe tu precio, gente, y a buscarte llegó. Último abrazo a quien te creyó. Bravo!
