The excerpt is a Spanish lyrical passage performed during the Budapest Bachata Festival 2024 demonstration by Dimitri & Viola. The speaker expresses intense desperation and unrequited love, repeatedly lamenting the difficulty of reaching the beloved’s heart compared to the sun. The narrative describes searching for the loved one in various urban settings—park, plaza, cinema—while using vivid metaphors of the sun and heart to convey emotional distance. The piece culminates with an energetic "Let's go!" signaling a shift from lyrical lament to the dance performance.
