In this video, Mario Sebok demonstrates the unboxing and initial setup of the Microsoft 850 Wireless Desktop kit. He removes the protective plastic, extracts the keyboard and mouse, and opens each device to install the required batteries (AA for the mouse, AAA for the keyboard). He explains the correct polarity orientation, shows how to toggle the mouse power switch, and closes the battery covers. After inserting the USB receiver into a computer, he confirms that the system emits the connection sound and that both the mouse and keyboard function immediately, typing and moving the cursor. He also notes a minor production issue—difficulty handling the camera without a tripod—while performing the hands‑on demonstration.

Unboxing Wireless 850W from Microsoft. Here we have the keyboard and the mouse. Take the plastic out, take the keyboard out, and here we have the mouse. Mouse is in a plastic, and here we have the batteries. So we flip this back over here. You have the opening of this. Just open it. Same thing here. Open the mouse. So, and over here in the mouse somewhere, you have a flip on and off for them. Anyhow, and here we have. A battery, and it's kind of hard doing with the left hand and hand only. Try and do this quicker here. Okay, open. And the 3 batteries. So 2 batteries are the small AAA For the keyboard and the AA for the mouse. The mouse, you're supposed to open it like where? And oh yes, like this. Open. And get this one battery in there. See, here it tells you which side goes in where. So as you can see from the drawing in there, the plus sign is on the— facing the exit. So here's the plus sign. Put the mouse— the battery in the mouse, and the bat— the mouse is on. You can turn it off here, flip it on, flip it— leave it off first, and close the mouse cap here like One hand is always difficult. I should have had some sort of tripod for the camera. Anyhow, that's right here. And yeah, closed. And turn on the mouse. The lights are on. It's on. And you have these two. You have to put these two AAA batteries in. Keyboard. Let me try here. Battery. Battery. Close. Close here. Okay, so batteries are in. Now you just put this in a USB spot of the computer, and it makes that sound to connect. Once that sound is connected, This keyboard and mouse should be working. You can see the mouse already working there, and if I type here in the keyboard and I start typing, it's already working.
