In this 2022 webinar, Mario Sebok (SCPM, MBA, PMP®) greets a group of SU Colombia participants from Budapest and presents a multi‑hour session that weaves together sustainability, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the emerging "meta‑space" attention economy, and exponential innovation frameworks. He begins by recalling lessons from Singularity University, emphasizing that simplifying adoption is the key to scaling impact, and introduces his Massive Transformative Purpose (MTP) – "Simplify sustainability at scale". Through live Zoom polls he gauges the audience’s awareness of the 17 SDGs and of the 10 dimensions of the meta‑space economy. He then walks through concrete SDG data (global poverty, hunger, health expectancy gaps, education access, water scarcity, electricity access, greenhouse‑gas emissions, job automation risk) and highlights technology‑driven solutions such as mobile payments, vertical farming, AI‑based health apps, crowdfunding, and decentralized platforms. Sebok explains the 10 meta‑space dimensions (time‑space, micro‑space, nano‑space, design, play, storage, inner, cyber, green‑to‑blue, inter‑space, outer‑space) and shows how attention‑based value flows across them. He introduces the 6 Ds of exponential innovation (digitalization, deception, disruption, dematerialization, demonetization, democratization) and links each D to specific SDG challenges. The session then shifts to prospecting: Sebok describes a methodology using a "cone of uncertainty" to map plausible, probable, and desired futures, illustrates scenario planning with the historic Colossus example, and runs a role‑play exercise (T1323) where participants generate future scenarios, unexpected competitors, and strategic decisions for a given industry role. He then presents sector‑specific future outlooks – health (tele‑medicine, AR/VR, haptics, CRISPR, crowd‑sourced biotech investment, human augmentation, blockchain), finance (crypto, blockchain, Bank‑as‑a‑Service, data‑driven credit, tokenized companies, fintech crowdfunding), food (cell‑based meat, 3D‑printed foods, vertical farms, sustainable packaging, AI‑personalized nutrition, drones, supply‑chain traceability), and education (EdTech, AR/VR, AI, NFTs, gamification, micro‑credentials, corporate competition). Participants also reflect on their personal professional purpose and envision how their roles (CMO, COO, CTO, CEO, etc.) must evolve, identifying concrete actions and indicators. The webinar ends with a Q&A, a brief technical interruption, and closing remarks with contact information.
