EP 217: The Real Flex Isn't Money -- It's Having Options
22 Jul 2026 · 47 min
Mark Evans argues that real wealth isn't about luxury cars or brands anymore. Among the wealthy, the shift is toward health, privacy, and optionality: the ability to choose when and how you work. He recommends entrepreneurs earning $250K+ spend $500 to $1,000 monthly on self-optimization through blood work and longevity practices.

Welcome to the Making of a DM. Hustle, hustle harder, they say. Oh, we've been lied to, and I'm telling you right now, people are starting to figure it out. I'm excited to share with you in the show. I'm going to give you a free bonus today for being an amazing human being. More importantly, it's going to help you and give you great insight to actually accomplishing something huge. And I hope you take full advantage of it. So with that said, let's get started. Hey there, it's your boy Mark Evans DM. That's right, you are the dealmaker and dreammaker of your life. I'm sitting here at the office in the man cave, if you will, 5,000 square foot facility with the workout, my private office, podcast studio, and some really cool cars by the cigar lounge talking to you. The truth is I was sitting here smoking a cigar Thinking about the trip I just got back from while hanging out in the Hamptons, New York, I'd like to share a lot of insights I've gathered from there, and more importantly, how this can incorporate in your life and your business. Who am I talking to today? The people I talk to at the Deal Maker Podcast Show and in my life in general for educating, helping, and growing people, I best serve the people that are doing $250,000 and beyond per year in revenue. Inside of their companies. I typically can't help, um, not because I don't want to, but because it'd be frustrating for me and you. I'm not really good at the beginning stages, the startup phases of beginning entrepreneurs. I love startups and all that stuff, but I'm talking like beginning entrepreneurs trying to convince you that you should go all in, trying to convince you about spend $3 to, uh, get a domain or whatever it is. I'm not knocking that. That's just, I better serve the people that's already done that, been through that, have the heartburn, heartaches, and the scars. More importantly, the results that they push through. So if that's you listening and you're brand, brand, brand new, you can stay here to be entertained, but just know that I might be talking over your head. And I'm not doing that on purpose. I'm just doing that because this is how I talk. This is who I talk to. And I want to help the people I can help. So as I'm sitting here too, I just want to say thank you guys first and foremost for constantly sharing the show. I know I haven't been as consistent lately. It's not because I don't love you guys, but I'm on social. I have businesses. I actually own lots of businesses that I'm involved in. I have lots of employees, lots of things happening, good and bad and everything in between. Um, it's called business. I do this podcast show for free. I pay to have it produced and sent out. I don't run ads. I don't do any of that. Not that I don't want to and need to. I just don't really need to. So I don't try to turn this into a job. I do this because this is my way of giving back to an amazing community that served me so well for 30+ years as an entrepreneur community, that is. So keep sharing the show, keep leaving 5-star reviews. If you do share the show on social, please tag me @MarkEvansDM so I can see it, give you props, maybe even reshare and get you some followers and get you some attention to what you're up to. So, Hamptons, New York. I haven't been back there. Me and my wife, Dina, we used to go to Montauk, which is right past the Hamptons at the end. We went there 12 years in a row. And it was cool, hip, a lot of cool cars, a lot of cool money, a lot of cool people, a lot of different things like that going on. This year, we went to the Hamptons. Haven't been back in about 5 years. We did a summer camp. It's called Alpha School Summer Camp. You should check it out if you're an entrepreneurial family or your kids have entrepreneur spirits or, you know, school regular school is just not for them, which definitely regular school is not for me or my kids. There's an amazing concept called Alpha School and it is doing some really, really amazing things. Been around for about 12 years. You can check it out. I'm not sponsored by them. I actually paid them a lot of money. And we'll talk about that maybe today. But I saw they had a summer camp going on in the Hamptons, looked at Dena and I was like, hey, we haven't been to Hamptons for a while. Let's go, let's do it. So we enrolled Drea and Mark into the summer camp. It was $4,500 per week per kid. We only went one week. And yes, $9,000 for a week for the kids to invest in them. And a lot of things happened there that I wasn't even thinking about or expecting, but I'm glad they did because I want to share these insights with you. We got to the Hamptons and on a Sunday and Monday it starts. So, we get there, we get the kids going. We drop off, they do a presentation. It's exciting. It's neat. We hang out, you know, do all that. And we start seeing some cool families and saying hello. And then you'll see them around town, right? Me and Dina leave, we walk around town, we go to, you know, Starbucks or, you know, whatever to get breakfast or a smoothie or whatever. And we keep running into all these same families. And as I'm sitting there observing, I would literally, me and Dina would just go sit on the bench in downtown and just watch the cars go by, listen to people, people watch, all that fun stuff. I noticed a lot going on. And it's not what I'm used to seeing or thought I would see. See, 5 years prior, every other car was a Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Lamborghini, whatever, any kind of exotic, crazy, over-the-top car. There's a lot of wealth in the Hamptons, concentrated wealth, right? There's lots of houses out there in the $10, $20, $30, $40, $50+ million range. Everywhere. It's normal. This time was different. And I paid attention for the entire 7 days because maybe I thought maybe it's just an off day. So, a lot of old classic cars like old Porsches, old Broncos, old Range Rovers, old Land Rovers, you know, different types of cars like that. I only saw maybe 2 or 3 exotic cars, meaning like a Rolls-Royce Drophead. And a Lamborghini, excuse me, a Ferrari and a McLaren 720. And I was like, huh, that's interesting. So, I didn't really put much thought to that. Just thought it was interesting. And I also noticed that people were dressing different. They were actually dressing down, not up. Meaning they weren't peacocking. There weren't people there, you know, wearing, you know, $100,000 watches. Even though I love watches and cars and everything I'm talking about, I love that kind of stuff. I like it. I enjoy it. For the art of it and, you know, the craftsmanship and all that. However, lots of people had their Apple Watches on. Lots of people had just basic shorts on. And, you know, the girls are just wearing basic, you know, things around their arm or whatever, as opposed to the Louis Vuittons and the Hermès and all this over-the-top expensive high-end gear stuff. I was like, okay, as an observation, this is interesting. I also noticed lots of families there. Hanging out, playing. The park was busier than normal. The streets were busier than normal with a lot of fam— like I said, the moms, dads, and the kiddos. I like that. So, again, just observing over the last 7 days, I started writing some stuff down thinking about this. As entrepreneurs, and by the way, most people there are somewhat entrepreneurial from my experience. Everyone I've met either owned or sold or exited the companies or own multiple companies. In many different verticals. And I believe the hustle culture has shifted. I'm all about hustle, but there is a point in your life when hustle is not the same as what hustle thinks when you're in the beginning of the game. And as I was looking at that, I really felt like the hustle culture moved to the health culture because at like 10 to 12 noon, you'd start seeing people shifting out. They'd be in their workout gear, they'd be going to their private studios, working out. You know, just doing workout stuff, physical activity. I think people starting to wake up is what I'm really saying, is to the lies we've been told. We need the big purses, the big money stuff to have a great life. No, if we have great health with great families and great experiences, we have a great life. The other stuff's just cool to have. And The healthier bodies, not bigger houses. Healthier bodies, not a new purse. I saw a lot of people investing in their health at a different level there. I mean, there's workout facility everywhere in this area. Everybody's private training. Everyone's got physical activity. Like, I love seeing this because everyone's buying investment real estate. Everyone's investing in stock market, making an ROI. You guys all understand ROI with your business. ROI with real estate, ROI with stocks. Have you ever stopped and thought about your ROI of your health? If you're unhealthy, if you have brain fog throughout the day, this is actually a depre— like you're a depreciating asset to the game. How much are you investing in your health? How much, not just money, but time? Right? Today, just randomly, uh, while I'm shooting this podcast show this morning at 6:40 AM, I was getting my blood work done. I do extensive blood work. It's like $1,200, $1,300 per 90 days. You don't have to do all that craziness. You could do less, but I just like to have full blood, full blown out blood every 90 days. Right? My health, if I go down Everything I care about, my businesses, my wife, my kids, everything I have going on is affected. And yet most people are stuck in hustle mode, even if they have the money, even if they have access to getting the time back to build a healthier life, busy building businesses, but not busy building your health, busy building your life. I think based off of what I saw and also all my friends that I know, there's a shift that's been happening for the last 2-ish years, really starting to advance in the last 12 months with testosterone therapy, peptide therapy, and all that. So much so, I've noticed it that I was invest— I've invested multiple multiple amounts of large amounts of money and these verticals in longevity. I have partners in the peptide and testosterone therapy side of things, and it's changing people's lives. It changed my life. It changed my partner's lives and it's changed many other people's lives as well. So, and people are investing money. I would ask you to think about how much are you investing in yourself? Right? You got gym memberships, you got, you know, cold plunges, saunas, weight, whatever it is. And then you got the vitamins, peptides, et cetera. All the, I mean, there's lots of things you can take and not everybody should be taking the same stuff obviously, but like, what does your body need? What do you need? What gets you at optimal performance every single day? And we could go down a whole rabbit hole. I mean, I have some of the best doctors in the world that work for us on advisory boards, as well as inside of our companies. It's happening. I believe everyone should probably be investing anywhere from $500 to $1,000 a month in themselves. You'll go market on ads on Facebook and spend thousands of dollars and get zero from it. Not to say you shouldn't do that too, right? You gotta be always be testing.. But I do believe you gotta stop just hustling to hustle and know where you're at in the game. Know where you're at in the journey, but also understand that you are— you look in the mirror. Yes, you are the best and biggest, most profitable asset you'll ever invest in. Everything else is secondary. Everything. If you are not at optimal performance, everything you touch will be affected. I've been there where I was making a lot of money, working really hard, build, build, build, build bigger business, bigger, bigger, bigger, bigger, bigger. I never slowed down or had anybody like me saying, hey Mark, you have the money. You have a lot of great people work with you so you can get time if you really want it. Why aren't you go invest some time? And you don't have to believe me. Go look at some of my pictures back, you know, 10 years ago. I was overweight, lot of inflammation, a lot of sloppiness. I was drinking, I was acting a fool. And then one day I was just laying in bed. I said, enough is enough, Mark. You're better than that. But I do everything for my family. You do? That's why you look sloppy. Act sloppy. And by the way, success covers up those failures, right? I had the money, I had the semi-fame online, and you know, all this stuff. I had new books coming out, had events going on, I had all this cool stuff going on. But deep down inside, when I laid down, I knew I didn't look good. I knew I didn't feel good, but I had hustle in me. I kept going, going, push harder, push harder, push harder. Me making more money is cool. But me dying isn't cool. Me feeling like crap isn't cool. My kids are watching. My employees count on me. My patients, my members in my groups count on me. If I'm gone, all that, everything I care about gets affected. And I truly believe that, like, what we once thought was the status symbol Right? My true story. My ultimate flex to you as a listener is not my houses, not my cars, not when I take the yacht out or the jets, all this crazy stuff that I get to do, but to be at 2 o'clock watching my daughter do horseback riding, take my son to tennis practice at 10:00 AM, pick him up at 12 noon, to be able to go anywhere in the world where I want, anytime I want. At a drop of a hat. As I'm speaking to you, I'm getting ready to head out tomorrow for 2 days to go to a big event. 6 days later, I'll be hanging out with the wife and the kiddos. We're heading west for 7 days at this amazing, amazing experience that we're going to do with the kids. Go see Mount Rushmore, go do, go do all that cool stuff. Right? You read about it in a book, but we're going to show up and we're going to look at it. We're going to see it. We're there. But that's status symbols. People, they look at, look at this watch. I have a quarter million dollar watch. Look at it. I have it. Okay, cool. By the way, I'm not saying you can't get into rooms with that. I'm not saying people don't recognize that. I like that stuff. So I'm not discounting it. But that's not what this game is about. I believe people's status symbols are moving from possessions to optionality. The reason you're working your ass off, you think, is to get more stuff, but it genuinely is, if you do it right, it's to create options to be able to work when you want with who you want. And to be able to tell people no, not do it for the money, do it for the sport of the game on your terms. That's the ultimate flex. We gotta stop glorifying hustle. If you're 30 years old, still hustling, I believe you've met— well, I don't believe, I know you've, you've, you're lost. You've lost. You're losing the game. You are losing the game. Yeah, but Mark, I gotta make more money. Do you? Maybe we all want to make more. We don't have to. We want to. And if you're 30 years deep and you have to, well, we need to look, we need to, we need to stop and figure out what you're doing wrong for the last 30 years. By the way, you could be making millions of dollars and still not be where you want to be because you're overspending. You have a very crazy lifestyle. And what I'm talking about is consumption versus ownership. You've built to become a consumer of everything, right? You got the $50,000 Rolex, but if I go make more money, I can go buy the $220,000 Patek. Or the AP, or whatever your next thing is. And again, you're gonna go do that. I've done that. I do that. I like those things, but I'm not trading my, my, uh, happiness, my days for these things. I don't care. I, I appreciate them, but I don't care about them where I'm willing to trade my life for a thing. I don't need more possessions. We're all truthfully chasing options. Options. So I want to own my day, and we'll get more into that because I do have something for you to print off. I want to give you something for free today to print off and go through a session with me step by step that will get you some clarity of where you're at, more importantly, where you want to go. Another thing too, like I said, there wasn't a lot of crazy cars, not a lot of crazy, just not a lot of crazy over-the-top stuff like I've seen in the past, right? Everyone on social media, I need visibility, visibility, visibility, visibility. In person, I need bigger cars, bigger house, visibility, visibility. The shift is happening where people are moving towards privacy. They want privacy. I'm going to dress down. I don't want you to know who I am. Very powerful, very powerful. In this world we're living in, there's a lot of distraction, lots of distraction. What I noticed is Let's focus on attention. Let's drive attention. Attention to my life. Attention to my family. Attention to things I care about. See, the problem with distractions and your hustling, you're so busy you don't even have time to think of what you actually want. You think you want it because someone else has it, because you're consumption mode. You think you want that house, you think you want that car, you think you want that business because it sounds cool and it looks cool, but you don't even know if they even have it. But you think they do, so you want it. So you actually kill yourself to go get it, to quickly discover that when you get it, you don't even care about it. Unfortunately, you lost lots of years of your life. You missed lots of cool things with your kids and family. Your health is taking a hit. These are things that I truly do believe we need to put attention to. We need to stop being distracted and get focused on your attention. You don't need to own 20 companies. You need to own one good company. Yeah, but I'm busy and I'm this and I'm that and I'm this, and I get it. I've been there. The distractions have cost me more money than I actually made. How much are distractions costing you? The reason most people, including me back in the day, were so easily distracted— because quite honestly, I didn't know what the hell I even wanted. At all. And that's what I want to help you with today. My question to you is, what do you want? You, not your spouse, not your kids, not your colleagues, not what you think other people think you should want, but what do you want? I want you to think about this because it's probably pretty hard for you to come up with an answer, right? You might have some surface level, I want more money. I want more time. Well, no shit, dipshit. We all do. But what do you really want? What do you want to do with the money? What do you want to do with the time? Because if you don't have a purpose with the money or the time, you'll never make time to get the money. And the time. You just won't do it because there's no reason to do it. Everyone I work with has a purpose in life. We just have to heighten it. We have to extract it. You're a steward of this beautiful gift of life we have. Even when it's hard, it's a gift. Oftentimes, that's where the gifts really show up. So I've asked you what you want, and this is not something that happens in 2 minutes. So don't discount it and write it off and move on and keep on the treadmill and keep going. Get over to the link in the show notes and download the free document that will guide you through this. I'm going to help you though. To discover what you want, if I was sitting across from you, I would start off with what you do not want. You know more of what you don't want than what you do want. As crazy as that sounds, it's easier for you to come up with answers. I don't want to do board meetings every day. I don't want to travel every day. I don't want this. I don't want this. I don't want to be stressed out. I don't want to be over here. I don't want to be there. I don't want 14 people reporting to me. I don't want— You know what you don't want way more than what you do want. What don't you want? So in this document I'll give you, this PDF, it's going to have sections of what you want, what you don't want, and then I'm going to dig a little deeper with you. What is your perfect day look like? Now, before you answer that, your perfect day is not so perfect if you do it every day. But today, I want you to imagine your perfect day. Where are you sleeping? How long did you sleep? What time did you wake up? Who did you wake up beside? Where is the weather like? What is on the plans today? What are you going to eat for breakfast? What are you going to do for coffee? Are you going to have sex, wild sex in the morning with your spouse? Are you going to hang out with the kids? Like, what are you going to do? What's your perfect day? You're going to sit beside the fireplace and read a book? Are you going to go build something? Are you going to give back to charity? Are you going to impact a lot of people's lives by speaking on stage or doing— writing a book or doing a podcast? Whatever it is, what does your perfect day look like? Once we start identifying these things, we start to understand if we're on track or off track when we're making decisions. This is how we stay focused in a distracted world. Distractions everywhere. You might call it shiny object syndrome. You don't even know it exists when you're laser focused. It's not even in your, your vision when you're executing towards your perfect life. Nothing can deter you. You can't get sidetracked. You're focused. You know where you're going. See, again, this is why people, the— for the majority part, the majority of people don't ever accomplish what they're capable of life. Not because they can't, but because they don't know where they're going and they're easily distracted. So when you feel frustrated, overwhelmed, pissed off, it's not that it's not available, it's just you genuinely don't really know what you want. You kind of do, but you also kind of don't. And if I can just get you to print this document off and kind of work it— more importantly, tape it in front of you, in front of your computer, and use that as your reference point when you're making a business decision or a life decision. Or what are your priorities with your family? I don't know where you're at, if you have kids or no kids. My priorities today are very family-driven. My son's about to be 11, my daughter's 7 and a half. I'm very focused on these moments in life because they only happen once. My child will only be 7 once. I'll have many business deals for the rest of my life, many business calls I can take for the rest of my life. But my beautiful daughter Drea riding a horse at 2 PM, private lesson, first time doing certain things, jumping, running, trotting, blah blah blah, smiling, looking at me, grinning, and just— there's nothing, nothing at all, unless I'm dead, will stop me from going to those. You can't sidetrack me. It's too important. I know what I want, and I also know what I don't want. I don't want to miss those moments. I don't want to miss watching her smile, watch her evolve, watch her gain confidence in herself, and be an observer of her life and watch. Investing in my children, not just dollars but time. Energy, moments. What's your priorities look like? Start building your framework of success, not mine, not the person beside you, no one online. You stop trying to be fucking Warren Buffett. Stop trying to be fucking Elon Musk. They don't even want to be themselves. Be the best you. When you do that— and Elon Musk has openly said, you don't want to be me. You know, people are ruining their lives thinking or trying to be like Elon. Too many. One's too many. I can look at him and get inspired by certain things, but I genuinely don't want to be anybody but the best version of me. What do you not want? What do you want? What's your perfect day look like? And as we start looking at this, what's in your bank account? What's your health look like? What's your relationships look like? Mark, why does that matter? I'm glad you asked, because what you have today is because all the decisions you've made in the past. I'm not here to harp on the past, but I'm here to let you know that doing the same things, i.e., making the same decisions that you've been making for all these years, thinking something different's going to show up is absurd. Everything you have in your life is because of you, good and bad. How you make decisions is the reason you have stuff or not stuff. When's the last time you audited how you make a decision? When's the last time you audited Hey, I don't want this. I need to become someone different. Hey, I weigh 30 pounds overweight. I need to start making better decisions on food, better decisions on saying no to meeting my buddies and having drinks on Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night, Monday night, Tuesday night, Thursday Night Football. There's always a reason to drink. There's always a reason to eat bad, but I make better decisions now. The way you spend money, the way you invest money, these matter. But Mark, it's only $240 today. That's one decision. What about all the thousands that you're going to make over the next 365 days? Every decision matters. That's why we need to build this framework so you're making decisions that are aligned with the outcome you're seeking, not suddenly for the one you have. Stop being a victim. Start becoming the victor, the person you know you're capable of becoming. I don't care what size of business you have. I don't care what size of life you want to have. These are things that you must understand if you want to have a very, very amazing life. Understand what game you're playing. Understand what season of the game you're in. I, at 30 years in the game with a 10-year-old and a 7-year-old, with a beautiful wife that gets to do what I want to do, I'm very crystal clear what season of life I'm in. My schedule proves it. I can't act like a starting founder traveling all over the country or all over the world for that matter. Being gone, not being present, that's not going to end well with what I am aligned with. I'd be divorced, my kids wouldn't know me, I'd be sad, I'd be devastated. That's my fault because I know better. Mark Evans DM DM had some kids over at the house last night, and I haven't seen these two kids for a very long time, like 2 years, 3 years. And I know I've met their parents a couple times, like I say, hey, where's your— what's your mom and dad up to? Oh, my dad's gone. Cool, where's he at? I don't know, he travels every day. I only see him like on the weekends. That's been like that my whole life. Obviously I'm not going to say this out loud, but that's disgustingly terrible, and I'm sad for them. I'm sad. The dad is missing out. Do you realize I don't care if you're mom or dad or whatever. Do you realize if you have a child and you're missing all these amazing moments in life with them, there is no way in God's green earth that when you're on your deathbed, you're going to be like, man, I should have done another deal, man. I should have took another Zoom call, man. I should have went on that other meeting, man. I should have traveled to meet those guys and tried to lock that deal up. That will never ever happen. When you're on your deathbed, mark my words, you're going to be saying, you're going to be thinking about the memories you've created with your family. You're going to wish you did more with your family. Even if you're a great dad, even if you're a great wife, even if you're a great spouse, you're going to wish you did more with them. The people that love you, the people that you love. So many people are so busy chasing a ghost and they don't even know why, and they just keep doing it. And by the way, I know people worth many millions of dollars still acting like they're dead broke, still traveling around the world, missing their kids' life, chasing the next deal. They're not truly happy. There's no way. They can act like it. They can smile like they are. From the outside in, everybody looks at them and says, man, they got it all figured out. If you want to really know what real flex, real life looks like, find someone that has children and see how they, the children act. See how parents are hanging out with them or not hanging out with them. You'll get to know a lot about people, what their real priorities in life are. That's success. It's not even about dollars. That's success to me. If you can go and spend time with your kids throughout the week and the daytime, you're building something real. I'm not saying it's convenient, but I'm saying it's worth it. There's a lot of times I have a lot of stuff going on. Yes, I gotta work sometimes later at night when the kids are sleeping. Yes, I gotta get up earlier. I actually don't work later at night at my level. I'm mostly getting up earlier. I'm an early guy, not a late guy. I don't like to do anything crazy stimulating after 5:00 PM anyways, because I love what I get to do and it keeps me up all night and it ruins 2 more days after it for me. I'm very aware of that. Not say I'm 100% there, but I'm very conscious of it. That's why I don't do dinner meetings. If I do a dinner meeting, I get home at 9:00. I'm up till 2:00 in the morning. All amped up. Not only that, I eat dinner with my family every night. That's way more important than a business meeting. Now, this may sound counterproductive depending where you're at in the journey. If you're brand new, you gotta, you gotta understand that again, you gotta understand where you're at in the journey and it's a take and give, but just be conscious of what's important to you. So get over to the website, MarkEvansDM.com Perfect, or excuse me, MarkEvansDM.com/Perfect. Download that PDF, print it off. More importantly, fill it out. Most importantly, stick to it. Follow it. Use it as your guide. Keep in the game. And one more thing, networking is cool. Networking is good, but it's a peacock environment. People are peacocking. They all act like they got it figured out. I got it figured out. I got it figured out. Keep in mind, everything I'm sharing with you today, they don't have it figured out. Most people don't have it figured out. I'm still trying to figure it out. I'm not acting like I have this all figured out, by the way, but I do know what I'm talking about here today. Sometimes I get lost. I get it. Sometimes I make the wrong decisions. I get it. You all do. We all do. But I use this as my guide. What you're really seeking is not networking events, not meeting new people just to meet new people because they're lying. You're lying. Everyone's acting like they're doing big stuff. No one's doing anything. Everyone's secretly scared. Everyone's secretly overwhelmed. Everyone's secretly broke. Everyone, like all this bullshit that's going on, they're disguising like they're givers, but they're trying to take. What one's really seeking is community. Community where you can step into a community, nonjudgmental. They're there to help you, guide you, and give to you. At the school, what was interesting that happened there, and again, I didn't even think about this because I'm thinking about the kids. The families I met are second, third, and fourth generations of multiple billions of dollars. I met multiple families worth many billions of dollars. Some families you would definitely know. Some families, you use their products every day, and I'm literally hanging out at their house. I have no clue who they are, and they have no clue who I am, but we have community with the children that are aligned with what we truly believe as a collective. And when you put real community together, the speed of trust, rapport, relationship, and exit— like Amazing things happen. I can't wait one day to share some of the stories I have to share with you. I met 3 families there that my sons went to their— my son went to their house. We were there, but like, you're walking into these houses, they got the shit private chef, the nannies, the cleaners, blah, blah, blah, all this stuff, security, etc. These are families you would know. I'm a hillbilly kid from small town Ohio, barely graduated high school, grew up in a trailer court till I was 10, and I'm standing there. I'm not intimidated. I'm genuinely just being me. What's cool is they're just being them. If you met them on the street, you would have no clue who they are or what their family does or did. But what I can tell you, inside of a community structure with alignment, amazing things can happen. And that's what we've built inside of the Deal Maker Alliance, the entrepreneur community of people that are working hard, getting information like I'm sharing with you today on a weekly basis, live Zoom from me, asking questions Meeting up 2 or 3 times in person every year, connecting with 130+ members across the country in multiple verticals. Some people generating $250,000 a year to some people that have $500 million in business going on inside of one community. The conversations, if you have a problem, the solution is in that room. You share, solved. We have people generating more money than they've ever thought they could dream of. We have people buying back their time at levels they never even thought was possible. We have people expediting structures and growth and building relationships at record speeds. And what they did is they made a different decision. They invested $1,000 a month in themselves to be in that room, to be in that community, Just like your health, you should be investing in your health. Just like your, your life, your community, you should be investing in your community. You are so worth it. I'm not here to sell you a $1,000 a month program. I'm here to get you access to 130+ amazing human beings across the country that could make your life easier. Build you bigger, guide you when you need help, support you when you need support. Community is where it's at. I'm excited to share with you in the future of who these individuals are. I'm telling you, I'm still in awe, and I was in it. It wasn't douchey, it wasn't disrespectful. It wasn't peacocking. It was genuine connection. And as I sit there with my wife, because we're raising a second generation of wealth— I have money, me and my wife have money. My kids don't yet, but they're on the path. They're learning how to make money. They're learning and understanding the importance and value of money. They're learning that money isn't the only thing that defines them, that's for sure. But my biggest fear is raising dipshits, raising bad kids, raising disrespectful kids. And I told Dean, I was like, you understand, we were just with so-and-so, their second generation, massive wealth, and they're the nicest people in the world. We're raising that generation. We are very conscious of where we're at in the journey. Are you? I want nothing but success for you. I want nothing more than you to live the life that you could only dream of. It doesn't take away from me if you win. It actually, it enhances what I do. And as a father, me as a father, one of the coolest thing, actually the best thing, you can tell me my son did this, my son did that, my daughter, blah, blah, blah. We were checking out on Friday. Ashley, wait, Natalie, I can't remember her name now. One of the teachers came to us and said, your son Mark is one of the, actually, yeah, I think it's Ashley. Your son Mark is one of the most well-behaved, respectful kids I've ever met. And I've seen a lot of kids. This is a teacher of many years. She's like, his manners are on point. He holds the door for people. He genuinely takes interest in people. He's a leader. He's not afraid to speak. He's not afraid to fail. But more importantly, he's just a great little human being right now. I genuinely started choking up because as a dad, that's how I know I'm succeeding.
