Mark Hamilton and a guest imagine what a modern laptop would cost if sold 50 years ago, estimating millions or tens of millions of dollars. They compare how technological revolutions make expensive things commonplace, like turning a $10 million jet into everyday technology.
How much do you think this laptop would be worth if this was blasted 50 years back into the past?
It'd be in the millions, maybe tens of millions of dollars.
Today this laptop is only worth pushing a thousand. And in your new country, you're saying that the technological revolution will happen in every industry. So that's like a 10 million dollar jet today being a common household.
Item, right? I mean, you're right on that. Yeah. The cost of the cost of living is going to drop so dramatically. Why? Because there's no force backed regulations holding down businesses. It'll be like that personal computer revolution that you're going to live like only multi, multi millionaires live today.
