A short YouTube monologue by Mark Hamilton (uploaded May 2, 2024) praising small, market-oriented business owners who personally provide good customer experiences and contrasting them with businessmen who mix with politics — the speaker identifies as anti-political and opposes politically-entangled businessmen.
When you walk into a convenience store and it's a small business and the owner's there and he greets you with a smile and he's helpful, or you walk into a restaurant, the owner is there and they treat you well and they want you to be happy.
Why don't we admire these businessmen? We should. A lot more people should admire them. The hate comes because there's businessmen who get all interconnected with politics. And yes, I'm the anti politics, and that means I'm also the anti political businessman. Right. Anything with politics I'm against, but just the pure businessman without getting intertwined with politics, who just wants to give you a great experience for a reasonable price. Those people are really good people, and I think we should start loving them.
