Mark Hamilton (speaker) argues that engaging with politicians, regulations, and media is ineffective because it plays "their system." He proposes a novel approach — never before seen on Earth, he claims — in which people withdraw their support from external authorities and stop operating in a "following mode," creating a new system based on mass withdrawal rather than direct confrontation.
In this system that we have going up and fighting against politicians and regulations and so on. It only gets you so far. Why? Because you're playing within their system. Since the beginning of time, it's been their system. There is another way out of their system. It's never happened before on planet Earth. It's a new system altogether. And basically, instead of going up and fighting against politicians and regulations and the media and so on, you simply withdraw all your support. Because you don't need to be in the following mode anymore. We need to sweep across the country a wave that removes people from their inborn following mode. They must break out of the following mode into something different. That's a new dimension that I provide where everyone withdraws their support of external authorities.
