Every style, every home. Hello everyone, I hope that wherever you are in the world you're having a great day. And that you're feeling really, really good. I know it's not always easy because life is always testing us, but just remember, like I always say, be as present as possible in the here and now. So I've got a bit of a cold again this week. I do apologize if you can hear me sniffling on. It's not coronavirus this time around, however, thank God. But yeah, just doing this podcast has made me realize how susceptible to sore throats and sniffly noses and things like that are because obviously I'm having to use my voice. And in a normal situation, I would just be using my voice in the office and talking to people or talking to friends. But it's just since I've been doing the podcast that I've realized I'm quite susceptible to getting a sore throat and a sniffly nose. So apologies from the outset. Anyway, so me big news this week is that from being present in the here and now I've been able to clear my mind, I've been able to do a bit of soul searching and meditation, and I've come to realize that I'm doing too much. So at the minute, I'm getting up at around 6 o'clock in the morning, I'm packing orders until 8 o'clock in the morning, then I'm doing a full day's work for the NHS, I'm heading to the post office on me lunch daily to post any orders, and then when I finish at 5 PM, I'm I'm trying to fit in, going to the gym, walking me dog, spending time with me partner, ordering stock for the shop, creating social media content, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and I've just come to realise that I need to do something for me. So, this week I handed me notice in at the NHS. It's quite sad actually because I've worked there for 15 years now, so it is a bit of a weird one. I'm happy. But I'm relieved at the same time. I just think like I've put so much of me life, like almost half of me life really, into working there. Like I'm 34 years old, do you know what I mean? So half me life literally has gone into working for the NHS. But as soon as I handed me notice in, I instantly knew that I'd done the right thing. So I had such a feeling of relief and happiness and almost like a release So yeah, from the end of May, I'll be concentrating on Canny Crystals 110% without any distractions, and that will hopefully mean that I can concentrate on all the things that I haven't had chance to do, like, I don't know, getting workshops and courses online and different meditation videos and all that jazz, do you know what I mean? Because that's the kind of stuff that interests me, and that's the kind of stuff that I know people are wanting, but it's the stuff that I just don't have the time to do. Obviously, like, my time is just taken up. And so yeah, please send me your blessings, send me your best wishes, because I could really, really do with them right now. Um, and last weekend as well, just to update you, I ran my first ever crystal workshop at Yoga with Natalie in Cambridge, and I had an absolute ball. I took some of my showstopper pieces with us for everyone to see. I went through the history of crystal healing, how they're used, what each shape and color crystal means, what chakra they align with, and then I got everyone to choose a crystal of their own, and I got them to cleanse them, set their intentions, and then we all did a joint 30-minute crystal meditation. It was so magical, and everyone that attended told us about how relaxed and full of energy that they felt since, which is absolutely amazing. So yeah, I absolutely love that, and I can't wait to do more of that in the future. And now that I've handed me notice in for the NHS, what's to stop us? I can do that from now on. Woohoo! That's going to be my life. But anyway, let's get on with this week's episode. So today I'm going to be talking to you about manifesting again. Shock horror. But this week I'm going to do something slightly different. JJ, stop biting your feet, please. Sorry, my dog was just biting his feet and it was shaking the microphone. And so I'm going to be talking to you about manifestation, but manifestation from a different perspective. So I'm I'm going to talk about what to do when your manifestations are not maybe coming to fruition as you'd like them to. Thank you, JJ just farted on my leg. Lovely. So I get messages daily asking for help and advice on this, and I'd love to be able to just say, "Just go listen to my podcast and I'll explain all." So here we are, this is what this episode's about. And it's the age-old question, isn't it, of when people discover the Law of Attraction, You start and feel aligned. You set your intentions. You get your friends involved. You get the universe involved. You totally speak each other's language. You're totally vibing. You're on a different level energetically. And then nothing. No manifestations. Nothing. Not even a little sign from the universe. So why isn't the genie coming out of the lamp yet? And you'd be right in expecting that, in all honesty. Like, sometimes manifestations can happen in the blink of an eye. Like, let's say for example, I've asked the Universe for things before. I've matched my energy and lo and behold, they've arrived within minutes. Even the day I was about to hand me notice in last week, I asked the Universe if I was doing the right thing and just to be shown a sign, and there were signals everywhere I looked. I went out for a dog walk and I saw the words "Go for it" on the side of a bus. I watched a TV programme and someone was writing out a letter of resignation. They were talking about crystal healing on This Morning. It just seemed like everything happened within minutes of me asking. I think within an hour I'd received like 4 signs, and I was like, okay, fair enough, this is what I'm meant to be doing. So we hear these stories about thousands of pounds landing in bank accounts overnight, or soulmates popping up at coffee shop in the same week. But what about the manifestations that take a little bit longer? What do we hear about those? Don't get us wrong, I only ever tell you about the things that I've managed to manifest, but I've attempted to attract all things into me life, and, and I've still been met with absolute silence at times too. And I'm not just talking like once or twice, like I'm talking about on a number of occasions. It's hard to keep the faith when they don't come to fruition, and it does hurt at the time. However, over the years of successful and failed wishes to the Universe, I've just begun to recognize shifts in energy and changes in how I was approaching the process as a whole. So the first thing that people assume when their manifestations aren't granted is that they've done something wrong. And I'm sure if you've had a manifestation that hasn't come to fruition, you've probably thought, "Oh God, I'm doing something wrong. What am I doing?" Or maybe you've thought that you've just had, I don't know, too many negative thoughts, or that you're not manifesting hard enough. That the Universe hasn't heard ya. Maybe you think that you're not worthy of what you've asked for. Honestly, unless you're trying to manifest something to harm yourself or harm others, then those reasons aren't why your manifestation isn't working. So here's what I've discovered over the years. The first point that I'm going to raise is that you won't feel truly aligned, and you don't feel truly aligned. The key to manifesting, at the very core, is to match our energy to the things that we want. We know that energy is magnetic. I tell you this every week. So if we want to create a life filled with happiness and we want to welcome abundance, the law states that we must raise our own energetic frequency to tune in with the other high vibrations. And to do this, we must imagine how we will feel when our manifestations are ours. Like, imagine the love that you'll feel, or the freedom, or the happiness, or even just the relief—like me handing me notice in. This is what people mean when they tell you to feel the feelings. But what happens if you're not truly aligned with what you're trying to manifest? For example, if you're trying to manifest, I don't know, £1 million, but you can't even imagine what £10,000 might feel like, How can you then match your energy if the alignment isn't there? Does that make sense? I don't know why I'm asking you because you can't answer back. But if you want to manifest money, you've got to start small. You've got to build your way up just like I did. Start with £5, then moved up to £10, then moved up to £50, then moved to £100, then to £500. In 2018, I asked the Universe to help me manifest £3,500., and it sent me my winnings on Tipping Point. Go listen to episode 1 if you're clueless. I'm just talking about Ben Shephard. And now I'm manifesting like £10,000 months in my business that I launched not even a year ago. That didn't happen overnight because I had to build me alignment up. So just always make sure that you're manifesting for you and not for what you think others want for you. Now, this rings especially true for manifesting about our bodies. For example, I recently just put into practice loads of stuff about how I want to feel and not feel— not kind of losing weight for others' benefits, if that makes sense. I've known friends try and manifest like that they lose stones when in fact they actually just wanted to manifest was self-love and appreciation for the body that they already had. It was just like societal pressure that's making them feel bad about the way that they did. And that's exactly what it was with me. Only recently I've come to terms and loved my body, and that's when I've actually got the body now that I want. Well, I'm not like 100% there, but I've lost 2 stone, do you know what I mean, since January. And I can see abs, and if you go on my Instagram @marttweedy, you'll see my transformation photo, and it's absolutely wild. Like, I just can't believe how big I was. And but yeah, I was— yeah, it's a hard one to go into, but I was dealing with societal pressure as well, and it was just making us feel bad about the way that I did. So you've got to do things for you, okay? My second pointer is that you might be holding on too tight. So picture the scene, you're fully aligned, you can really imagine how you'll feel when your manifestation comes to fruition, In fact, it's all you ever think about day and night. So where is the Universe with that delivery? Shouldn't it be here by now? You're manifesting so hard. That's what I call desperate energy. So you're holding on to this, and you're holding on to it so tight, and that's signaling to the Universe that there's a lack of trust. Imagine like, I don't know, ordering food in a restaurant and you waiting impatiently outside the kitchen doors in the restaurant. Because you didn't believe that the chef was going to cook your food. It's just absolutely ridiculous, yeah? Or you might be, I don't know, waiting outside your door because you didn't believe that Hermes was going to deliver your parcel. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised with Hermes, but you get the drift. But in all seriousness, like, holding on so tight to your manifestation and obsessing about it day and night, that'll only stop the flow of energy, okay? Some experts tell you to set the intention and then release it. Release to the Universe and don't think about it again. Personally, I like to say, "Hold on to it loosely." You've got to release the manifestation, of course, but you've got to have total trust and faith that it will appear when the time is right. But also, look at how you can meet the Universe halfway. Take that inspired action. Maybe visualize your manifestation coming true once a week when you're relaxed and You just lay in bed with your eyes closed, or maybe script once a month, maybe hang pictures on your vision board. Take that inspired action when it does come to you. So what I'm trying to say is don't have the manifestation take over your every waking thought, nor should you forget about it and never think of it again. And I get what you— I get what you're all probably shouting at me right now, but it's a fine balance and it's the one that takes a little time to perfect. But you can absolutely shift your mindset with a little practice. The next point to consider is that you're not being specific enough. When we give a vague order to the universe, how can we be surprised when it doesn't deliver? So you want to be rich, but what's your definition of rich? Finding £10 on the street could feel rich to a homeless person. Hell, even like just having a roof over your head could feel rich to a homeless person. But winning the EuroMillions might be what you mean by rich, and that's what feels rich to you. That's not what feels rich to everyone. Get really, really specific. You have to get a clear picture and get specific on the details. Not only does it make it easier for your energies to align, but it'll also mean that signs and signals leading you to your manifestation are much more obvious because of the clarity that you have. For customers that come to me daily for like help with manifesting love, for example, like they'll message us on Instagram and they'll say that they're desperate to find love, and I ask them to start with getting super clear on the qualities that they want in a partner. So I ask them to write a cosmic shopping list.

And this is something I've mentioned a couple of episodes ago as well. Not necessarily a list of physical characteristics, but looking more to like personal and spiritual qualities, such as things like being a loyal person, having a great sense of humor, being kind. They want to travel, they want to start a family. Do you know what I mean? The reason that I don't focus on physical aspects is purely because if we become so focused on looking for someone with dark hair but blue eyes to enter our life, what happens when your soulmate has in fact a head with no hair? Or they've got brown eyes? There's potential, and you'll miss him completely. Or her, sorry, not to judge. A cosmic shop and list could also be used when manifesting things like a house. So you might list the area that you want to live in. You might list how many bedrooms, the style of the house. Let the universe know what's in your head, Set the intention on paper, but all in all, be specific. Another reason that your manifestations might not be coming to you is simply it's the wrong time for you. Now, this is going to sound like a right kick in the cunt. Apologies, shouldn't have really said that word. Never mind. And it is a cliché to say, but sometimes our manifestation just isn't working because it's simply not the right time in your life to receive it. Divine timing plays a huge part in our life's journey, and there are times when you look back over the years and you think, like, I don't know, "Thank God I didn't get that job," or "Thank God I moved when I did," because the universe had the timing planned out all along. We just couldn't see it at the time, but obviously hindsight is an amazing thing, isn't it? I live fully by the notion of divine timing, and I have faith that the right thing will come at the right time when my energy is at the place that it needs to be at. There were years, like, especially as I got into me mid-20s, when I, like, wondered if love would ever arrive. This was before I really moved into a spiritual path, and I thought me journey should have been like the majority of me friends who had already settled down, that already had children, that kind of thing. But as I started to embrace a new way of thinking, it kind of settled me heart to know that the universe had a different plan for me. A better plan to suit my life, and that would allow me to experience all the amazing things I have ahead of my 35th birthday next week. I know, right? I don't look old enough. But new love will come when the time is right, and I believe that. And that was the divine timing for my life. I met Johnny 8 years ago when I was 27, but up to the age of 25, I was thinking, what's going on? What's going on here? Like, do you know what I mean? Like, I'm never going to meet anyone, or every lad I'm with is an absolute asshole. And I just had to put that down to divine timing. I was meant to meet Johnny. And once you understand divine timing, and once you understand that it's always playing a part, it makes life a whole lot easier to embrace. Trust us. And just remember that something better is coming. One of the most frequent DMs that I'll receive on social media is about people kind of trying to manifest their dream house, and I don't know, it'll seemingly fall through. They'll go and view it, they'll fall in love, it's everything they've been manifesting, and then they'll get ditched. But you know what else comes after the initial message to me? A follow-up message telling me that that wasn't their dream home, they've actually found something even better, and the offer has now been accepted. Something better was always in the background waiting to shine. When a thing, a person, or an opportunity similar to our manifestation appears, we can often be tricked into thinking, "Yes, this is it. It's worked." And then when it doesn't work out how we imagined, we'll then feel angry and resentful at the universe. But this is simply a transition period. It's warming you up. It's making you realize what you don't want rather than what you do. You're going through a transformation period that's leading you to abundance. Something better is coming. And that's something I've just started saying to myself lately. So when I'm manifesting and I leave it up to the universe, I started saying something along the lines of, "This or something better." And it's great to get into that mindset of, "If this isn't meant to be, then something better is on its way instead." Life might not always go the way that you thought, and it is often a series of twists and turns, as we know. But that's what makes it all the more sweet when our energies finally align with our manifestation and it actually does come to fruition. When our glasses are steamed up from all the disappointment of our manifestation not arriving,. It's hard to be able to see what was actually working out all along. Something better is coming, I promise. Wipe your glasses, get ready to see the signs. If you felt any of this in your heart, please just know that you're not alone in wondering why your manifestation isn't working. Like I say, I get messages on the daily, every single day, on Instagram, on TikTok, on Twitter, on Facebook. People want me to problem solve and want me to fix their problem as to why their manifestation isn't coming true. So I hope this episode has at least put your mind to rest there. So let's get clear on manifestation. Manifestation is bringing something tangible into your life through attraction and belief. For example, if you think it, it will come. However, there's more to manifestation than just willpower and positive thinking. And obviously, to start manifesting, you need to be clear about your goals. While everyone approaches manifestation differently, we all follow the basic principles, okay? So first and most importantly, you need to know exactly what you want. So you're getting clear. You're the one who dreams your dreams. So whether it's a new partner or a healthy relationship or a better job, you've got to know it. You've got to own it. Whatever you desire, one thing is essential: make your intention as specific as possible. Then once you've set your intention, ask for what you want. Write it down on paper. When you've pinpointed exactly what your hopes, dreams, and goals are, you need to then ask the Universe for what you want. This can be done in a number of ways, as we know from past episodes. It can be prayer, it can be meditation, visualization, I don't know, your vision board, speaking your intentions out loud, even just scripting and writing it down, okay? Then you're going to start working towards your goals. Okay, this is exactly what you need to do. You'll not see any results without action. Like I've said a million times, I've said it in a past episode, no one would ever run the Great North Run just sitting at the start line imagining winning. Sooner or later, they're going to have to put one foot in front of the other and start running that course. Set aside a bit of time each day to think about what steps you can take to reach your goals yourself and then build them into your routine. For example, if you want to make like, I don't know, a major career change, start networking with people in your new field, practice for a job interview, that kind of thing. The next step after that is to be mindful of and thankful for what you receive. So while you might not always get everything that you envision in the timeframe that you want, you should always receive and acknowledge what you do get and be grateful for it. No matter how big or small it might be. Okay, gratitude is key. To do this, consider creating a gratitude journal before bed like what I do. Spend 5 to 10 minutes just writing down a few things for which you're grateful, as well as anything that happened that day that might bring you closer to whatever it is that you're trying to manifest. Maybe you want to save enough money for retirement and you'll receive a call from your, I don't know, your TV provider about a way to lower your monthly bill. Or you'll come across like an informative podcast or something that inspires an idea for a money-making side hustle, that kind of thing. Then you've got to let go of any resistance and any limiting beliefs. In addition to changing your mindset and behaviors, you'll need to remove any obstacles or limiting beliefs that may cloud your vision, including fear and negative self-thought. You've got to identify what exactly your past limiting beliefs are Ask yourself, what are the beliefs that I have about myself that may be inhibiting my progress? Write down your answers, cross them out, and write your new affirmations in their place. Jot down the answers, replace any negative feelings with positive ones. If your limiting belief is, I don't know, I'm incomplete without a man or a woman, reverse it. Put, I am complete as I am. If your limiting belief is, I'm not good enough, reverse it. But I am wonderful as I am today. And then, and only then, once you've done all that, make sure to check and change your energy, okay? That means if you are continually sending out negative energy through either your thoughts or your feelings, you're going to attract the same energy back to you, okay? So just remember, you need to flip that. If you're able to shift your energy, you'll also attract more positivity, and that'll help you realize your goals. Luckily, lifting your energy is quite simple, as we know. I did an episode on it last week. But I don't know, start each morning with a little meditation or a quick yoga session, or spend some time in nature, or treat yourself to some well-deserved self-care, okay? And then you've got to leave it and trust the process. All of that said, the process is fluid, okay? The steps that you take don't matter as much as your belief. So trust your actions, trust your visions, Trust your clarity and the powers that be. If you see it and you feel it, you will achieve it. And like I say, drop us a message.
