As you know by now, my name is Mart Tweedyedy, I'm your host, and this week I am joined by a very special guest. So today I'm very excited, in fact, to be joined by Lorraine, also known as the Angel of the North on Instagram. So Lorraine is a gifted spiritual healer who combines her deep connection to the angelic realm with her expertise in Reiki to bring about transformative healing to all of her clients. So she's here to share her wisdom on connecting with angels, how angelic energy can enhance Reiki, and what messages the angels have for us in these challenging times. So let's dive on in and explore the magic of angelic healing with Lorraine. Hello gorgeous, how are you?

Hello, and what an introduction! I'm very well, thank you very much.

Thank you so much for coming on the podcast. So for those of you listening, Lorraine is actually the Reiki healer that I went to probably about 2 months ago now And the second I walked through her door and she placed her hands above my tummy, she basically asked me outright if I shit myself all the time. And just the week before, I had actually shit the bed when in a hotel in London. So I was like, oh my God, she's the real deal. So Lorraine, you're known as the Angel of the North on Instagram. So can you tell us how that name kind of reflects both your spiritual journey and the work you do today?

I think that's a really great question. Um, how I actually found the name Angel of the North, which is pretty massive considering it's a massive landmark in the Northeast, as you know, but yet, um, your listeners might not know, Mart, is that I was a nurse before, um, I actually started this, this massive business now. Um, and it was one of my Scottish friends, actually, my nursing colleague. She's, um, I was always a bit shy about explaining that I worked with angels 'cause, um, growing up in the '80s and the '90s and working in the NHS, I think you would get the label lunatic.

Yeah.

And we had a really strange thing that happened together. Um, and she was going on about my energy when I was in the room and how it felt different. And so I confided in her really., and she said, look, you've gotta get yourself out there. You know, you've gotta start talking about angels. Um, and I said, well, how, how can you really advertise what I do and how can I explain it? And she says, oh, I know, in a broad Scottish, um, accent, you've gotta call yourself the Angel of the North. Um, so that's how the name came about. Sorry, I'm actually listening to angels right now and they just literally take me off on a tangent. So I basically, yeah, eat, breathe, and sleep, um, angels. I actually see them as I would see you, as I would, I don't see angels with wings unless I'm healing. And, um, I'll explain that a little bit later on in, in, in the, in the podcast. So basically my, I just hear them all the time. I sleep with headphones in so I can get in a few hours rest. But it's basically part of my DNA. I think that's just who, who I am. And when you came to see me as an example, I was just basically— angels can be very biblical and they can be very confusing and the way that they speak. So they're still trying to learn my Geordie accent and I'm still trying to be more angelic. Hopefully one day that'll, that'll kind of happen. But my spiritual journey, we could be here all day talking about my spiritual journey, but the work that I do, um, is pretty much, um, I do as I'm told. I do as I'm told. I'm given messages by angels and I'm asked to deliver that message. And sometimes it's really tricky. Like when you came to see us and you were lying on the bed, I just got told lots of things about you. That, um, I relayed back to you, if that makes sense.

So can you explain the difference between angels and spirit guides? Because you said to me that they're obviously quite different, aren't they?

They're incredibly different. You see, I, I always, um, struggle with that question. I've been asked that before, and all I know is that my angels must be my spirit guides, where you could come or somebody else could come and see me, and they will that they will have different people attached to them.

Yeah.

Where I very much, I don't have a spirit guide and the angels, I just always work with the angels. So kind of growing up, they've always been my guides. I've, I can see them, I recognize them. I don't personally have a, have a spirit guide per se. I just know that there's angels, that's who I work with.

Yeah.

I hope that makes sense.

It does. And I mean, when I first came to you as well, Lorraine. Obviously, like I say, I lay down, you said to me, oh, you've got like a few problems going on down here. Yeah, it's all related to daddy issues. And I was like, straight away, yeah, I haven't spoke to my dad in 20 years. So straight away that was like confirmation for me. And then the next thing you said to me is, you need to go and get a colonoscopy, you'll be seen by someone called Dr. Chris Dipper. And I was like, okay. So I remember going to my GP and she must have thought I was a lunatic because I sat there in, in her room and she said, so what are you here for? And I said, I'm here for a referral to a Dr. Christopher. And she went, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, take it back a few steps. She was like, if you want a private referral, you can go through Spire in Washington and things like that. But she was like, it'll probably cost you about £6,000 to £7,000. So I was like, if you want to be referred through the NHS, you could go to a pot of like 100 different consultants. It's never going to be that one consultant that you want of your choosing. And I was like, okay. So I just remembered, like, how do I remember this name, Chris Dipper? So I thought of chicken dippers. That was the first thing that I thought of. And I was, yeah, and I was like, chicken dip, I'm going to be seen by Dr. Chicken Dipper. So anyway, this letter came through and it said an appointment, and it wasn't Dr. Chris Dipper. So I was like, oh, okay, she got that one wrong. Anyway, day of the colonoscopy, there I am in the waiting room waiting like for me colonoscopy. I hadn't ate in like 24 hours. Had all my bowel prep and everything like that, and this guy came out and shook my hand and he went, hi, I'm Dr. Dipper, I'll be doing your colonoscopy today. I don't usually do the clinics on a Wednesday, however I'm taking this one. And I went, is your first name Chris? And he went, yeah, why? And I went, oh my God, Lorraine the Reiki lady sent me. And his face just went, oh, Lorraine, okay. And he knew you straight away.

My daughter.

And it was, yeah, and it was so, so funny. And I was like, she told me I was going to be seen by you. She told me what the outcome of this test will be and everything, and it was just absolutely wild. But it really put me at ease because I was so, so nervous, and I was like, how weird that you got the doctor's name right. Of all the doctors in the Northeast in gastroenterology and, you know, like colorectal surgery and stuff like that, how weird that you got his name.

Do you know what the only thing that I am 100% sure of Wow, here goes. It's my ability. I'm, I'm not confident in any other thing. Um, I'm not a social butterfly, as you know.

Yeah.

I just work me little, me little domain at home, you know. But the 100— I trust angels more than I would trust anybody walking on the Earth plane. And for me, I could see the damage that it would do if I didn't tell you to go and get that. I mean, men— no, no disrespect to men, but they are really— at least you were open and honest about things, you know. Men just simply don't talk.

Yeah.

And you needed that addressed. You needed— I mean, can you imagine when you left? Because I tend to read in the now, okay? And I was just so anxious about it because I was thinking, well, what if I'm wrong, you know? And I'm, I'm never wrong, to be honest. And, um, Well, my husband might disagree with that, but not when it comes to medical. I mean, how do you kind of say to people— and actually Christian Dipper does not— he's fascinated, he knows I'm a Reiki master. Yeah, but I, um, I'm desperate to say to him, um, Dr. Dipper, I'm more than— I'm very much more than a Reiki master. But I was just so anxious about your results, and when that photograph came through, I mean, yes, well, let's be honest, you were off your feet, right?

You know, I was.

But the relief that I found by you just validating what the angels had taught me.

Yeah.

You know, and if that's for the skeptics out there, you know, I am just a channel. I just work for the angelic realm. I'm not here to prove or disprove. But the fact that you are out here and you are telling the world actually about your experience means the absolute world to me. I mean, I'm saying Dr. Dipayan clinic next month, and he'll probably think I'm a complete weirdo, or he'll have a pile of patients waiting for us, do you know what I mean? Um, but honestly, I did want to say thanks so much for sharing your personal experience. I mean, have you got a follow-up with him?

Yeah, I have. I've actually gone this Friday into his clinic as well. So yeah, we'll find out, because I had a few biopsies taken and things like that. Um, but yeah, we'll find out the results of that, and then I'll, I'll update again. But it was so weird because the first time that I came to you, the, the way that described it was almost as though someone was shining a torch on the inside of the body and you could see into the body. But it's like, how do you describe that? Do you know what I mean?

Exactly. And then for the skeptics that are listening to our podcast today must think, yeah, right. But honestly, this is the only thing in my life that I trust these people, as in, i.e., angels. Now, they don't want to be worshipped. You know, anybody can tap into the angelic realm. Um, so what happens is when you lay on the bed, I just have a knowing.

Yeah.

So I need— I believe that you get dis-ease, which creates disease.

Yeah.

Okay. When we are uneasy, um, in our bodies, we become prone to disease.

Yeah.

So what I do is I introduce myself, as you know, get you comfortable, have a big crack on with you. And then I just start. It's almost like I'm out of office, and I would describe myself as those X-ray eyes. It's a superhero without the cape, right? Um, it's a shame that, um, you know, some, some of your listeners don't know actually what I look like, because for their, for their benefit, I'm actually 4 foot 11 and I'm actually 6 stone 4. So there you go. Um, so I get into that zone and I listen, and that's when, um, I'm guided. So I come from a background of theater, so I know anatomy and physiology, um, like the back of my hand, but I absolutely love it anyway. So I know how the setup of the body is. Everybody's different, you know, um, who wants to be the same? And then I'll hear, I'll hear instantly. And as I was going up to the solar plexus area, for the listeners, that's also this stomach area, I could just see, um, the words father. Now I believe that most stomach problems are, are, are down to daddy issues.

Yeah.

Or people who never got to say goodbye to a loved one.

Yeah.

Before they passed. And then I was told bowel. So I went further down past the duodenum, which is the stomach, and into the intestines and then into the bowel. And then I could see, um, inflammation in there and I couldn't make up my mind actually whether it was Crohn's or colitis.

Yeah.

And I was begging the angels to see, even though it's horrific, that it was colitis rather than Crohn's because Crohn's is a different ball game. Yeah, you know, so I'm actually, I'm not quite sure what he said. Yeah, when you got your colonoscopy, did he see there was slight colitis there?

He's looking for microscopic colitis, basically. So you were right there. But yeah, so, um, I'll get the biopsy results back on Friday and that'll confirm things.

So yeah, but the beauty of it is, even like hypothetically, I don't think I am, but say I, I was wrong and did see inflammation there that warranted a biopsy, Yeah, so prevention is better than cure. Yeah, if that makes sense.

Definitely. And I think what you said there about the daddy issues, on not being able to say goodbye to a loved one, that struck true on so many occasions. Because when I spoke to my friend Fran from Love Attraction Changed My Life podcast— yeah, I was speaking to her the exact same day that you gave me that diagnosis through Reiki, and she went, oh my God, I've just clicked. I haven't spoke to my dad in about 5 years, and guess when my stomach issues started? And it was 5 years ago. Then I'd said to my mom, you have a few stomach issues, didn't you? Obviously my mom's dad, my granddad, is the reason that I started all of this. He passed in 2019, but it was a sudden passing and nobody got to say bye to him. My mom has had really bad bowels since that day. Isn't that weird?

Would you tell your mom though that your grandfather doesn't do drama, so he did not want to be spoon-fed or his bottom wiped? So it was, he's just very sorry that, you know, he was in his body and out of his body, but he, and I know this is his decision and, you know, but he wouldn't want to be, in his words, a burden to anybody. Um, very independent, very smart man, both in, in, in clothes but also in head. He is, in mind, he is very switched on. Um, I laugh because he thought when you were dead, you were dead. Actually, but now his whole perception has changed about the afterlife, and that's something you and I could maybe talk about, um, when we, when we see each other again.

Yeah.

Um, I'd very much like to see your mom to give her that closure.

Yeah, well, she would love the message, but when it comes to Reiki and things like that, she is very skeptical with things like that. She's like, okay, whatever, but I'll leave it to you to, you know, switch her mind up.

Yeah.

So Lorraine, you know how you mentioned that obviously you've heard and you've angels pretty much all of your life, and then you became a Reiki master. So how do they kind of like complement each other in your healing work? Because your Reiki is very intuitive, isn't it? And it's almost like you're doing Reiki at the same time as being fed like all of this information. So how do they kind of complement each other?

Well, I found Reiki— yeah, I mean, I've been doing this like 30 years, you know. I mean, yeah, but I found Reiki because I was seriously ill, um, and I kind of got sick of being prodded by the medical profession, like radiotherapy and stuff like that, you know, that I just needed something else. And Reiki really wasn't available back then, you know, for all it's been done for thousands of years.

Yeah.

Um, and I actually fell, um, upon a Reiki master, literally bumped into her in, in the hospital environment. And remember, growing up in the '80s, like I've already said, I imagine if I— my dad was born in 1933. He was a complete man's man, and, um, he always used to take us to the doctors because he used to say, oh, there's something wrong with her, she's just seeing people that aren't there, you know. And he was really adamant I wasn't going to do it. So can you imagine if I, um, had gone home to me dad and said, 'Oh, the angel said that I'm gonna be just fine, Dad. It's— don't worry about it.' So I felt like, because I had my dad's voice in his all the time, I felt like I had to go and get a recognized qualification. Because don't know if anybody else knows, um, at this present time, but there really isn't a certificate that'll say 'angel whisperer,' you, you know.

Yeah.

Because it just sounds really outrageous and out there. So I loved the concept of Reiki, how if you think of quantum physics, every living thing has a vibration. And another thing I loved about Reiki was it doesn't have any religious tag to it either.

Yes, I love that as well.

And, and I'm so lucky, Mart, because I have a multicultural clientele, you know, uh, from Indians to— yeah, yeah, you know, I have the whole lot that come, and I'm really, really honored, you know, because people go, oh, I'm not going to that hocus-pocus stuff, or I'm not going to that Catholicism, you know, I'm not going down that line. And actually, it doesn't belong to anything, it's simply energy, you know. Yeah. And when you think about it, we are all running on a vibration. So if you think of a radio station, that's how I like it, to think about it. I'm an old bird, so I'm gonna be on Smooth Radio, but you might be on Radio 1, a young lad like yourself, right? I literally give out the smooth vibration, and on a subconscious level, on a soul level, you kind of like my vibration, so your vibration joins mine, and the healing occurs. And it's really, really simplistic. You know, it's not rocket science. It. I think people make it more complicated than it should be. So for me, yeah, I use the Reiki because I'm walking in a physical body. So when you're, you're there, I'm doing the practical side of things, like grounding the client, using the symbols to connect the energy. And then once the energy is connected— now this is gonna blow your mind, right? Sometimes like on Friday, and you know this is true because you've spoken to the person that this happened to, I take the person out of their body.

Mm-hmm.

Because sometimes we need to do that because one, they'll feel physical pain if I keep them in their body, their soul. So, um, I can't physically lift somebody. Yeah. Right? Unless it's a baby. So I need to do the Reiki where I ground the client in order for the angels to lift the other vibration. So the two work really, really well together. All right. And then once the soul leaves the body and goes where it needs to go, that's when I do the practicalities.

Yeah.

All right. Does that make sense? Yeah. Or does it just sound outrageous?

No, absolutely. And you know what was funny? Because the person that we're speaking about is Julie, and she's given me permission to basically say her name and everything. She shared her story with me on Friday. The voice note that I got was like a minute long, and it was just her going, oh my God, Mart, oh my God, I can't believe it, oh my God, guess what's just happened, oh my God. And it was just that. And I was like, will you bloody tell me? And she said, I've just been to see Lorraine. Lorraine basically laid me down, and she said it was almost as though her soul left her body. You, you hadn't told her at this point what you were doing, but her soul left her body. She went up to the clouds. She said she felt someone come over her shoulder, but you were at her feet at the time, so she knew it wasn't you. And it was almost like they leaned in ever so slightly, like, to a cheek. And then she said she was in the clouds, almost like she was being blessed with the universe. That's the only way she could describe it. And then all of a sudden she came back down into her physical body. And then afterwards you'd said to her, I took you out of your body, up into the clouds, someone leaned over and give you a kiss on the cheek. And she said straight away she was just so emotional because she was like, that's exactly what just happened to me. And that was before she told you what she'd seen or anything. And for me, I was just like, wow, because that is just phenomenal, do you know what I mean? But you are so intuitive in terms of, you know, even just last week I was looking at houses by the coast and I was looking— it was so funny because I had something open, you know, on your, um, on your iPhone when you go on a Safari and you have like loads of little browser windows. I had a browser window open with this beautiful house. I mean way out of my budget. It's just under a million pounds, but I was like, this house is beautiful, I'm going to have this house one day. Look at the views next to the seaside. You text me randomly. I hadn't even text you. You text me and said, just wondering if you've ever— if you ever like the seaside. I'm thinking that you might be moving there one day. And I was like, are you bugging my phone or something? Are you literally like stalking me? Like, what's going on here? And it was so weird. And I sent you the link back and you were like, yeah, it's so weird, I can literally see you living there.

I was cleaning me teeth.

Yeah, you were brushing your teeth at the time, and I was like, why would you even think of that while you're brushing your teeth? Like, where did that come from?

Do you not, do you not think— I don't think them questions as well, like, what the hell? You know what I mean? It's really— this is another example of that, and I mean, this is so outrageous. So unfortunately, um, my dad died and my mum died within a year of each other, so it was pretty horrific. And my mum, well, after she died, I got this huge desire to, um, to— I had to go to the chapel of rest, right? I just had to go. And they had just received my mum's body, her physical body. And I was crying and I said, look, I'm not usually an emotional wreck. I need to see my mum. And they're like, oh, Lorraine, you can't. She's not ready, but, but you can come. I mean, this was just hours after she had gone there. Mm. So I goes into the chapel, I goes into the undertaker's, and I'm immediately say— I heard a man's voice, and the man's voice said, look over there. And I looked over to the right-hand side of the wall, and there was, you know, like in the NHS, Mart, because you've worked in the NHS, where you've got all the staff's pictures.

Yeah, yeah.

Right? Like on the wall. Yeah. Well, there was apparently this guy was talking to it, is it, from the spirit world, and he was saying, 'Well, my picture's just been taken down,' and I was thinking, 'Oh no.' I mean, if you're gonna talk to someone who's deceased, you're definitely gonna talk to them in an undertaker's, aren't you? And he actually said, he gave his full name, and I actually spoke to the lady, one of the undertakers, and I'd said to her, you know, we'll just say, we'll call him John, okay? And I said, 'Look, I'm not being funny here, you've just got,' 'Gotta take this with a pinch of salt, but John is pointing to you and saying he's so proud of you.' And this undertaker went absolutely white, the colour white, and she said, 'Oh, what else is he saying like?' And I thought, right. And I went, 'Well, I believe you've been here a long time working in the undertakers.' And she says, 'Yes, I have.' And I says, 'But John's like a father figure to you.' And she went, well, he's not me father, but actually he's only been dead a month and he actually trained me. He was actually— and she says, and when I qualified as an undertaker, there wasn't actually any women really, you know, at the forefront.

Yeah.

She says, now I'm running the business. And then after that, I remember coming out thinking— I was actually raging, if I'm honest. So I had gave him peace, I had closed— done some closure for for John and everybody. But actually, I was a bit annoyed the fact that I was there to see me mum. Yeah, I was there to see me mum, and I hadn't been allowed to grieve, really. And I thought, you know what, I'm not having this anymore. So I kind of got a bit stroppy with myself, to be honest. And I said, that's it, I'm absolutely not doing this anymore whatsoever. And I heard, you haven't got a choice. You'll see your mom in 5 minutes. So I basically had to suck it up. So, you know, getting back to Julie's story, I just do as I'm told, you know. And even in times of my own sorrow, that I do what I'm told as well. And it's really quite tedious at times. But with Julie, it was really interesting because she had trauma stuck inside of her.

Yeah.

And like yourself, if I hadn't have kind of been— I mean, I had no clue who you were, Mart. I'm being really honest. I had never listened to a podcast or anything like that. I just saw, yeah, a body that needed— prevention's better than cure.

Yeah.

You know, I saw you being really successful, and I think that at some point would have stopped. That success would have actually ended— you would have ended up in hospital. Julie was really traumatized by, you know, yourself, Julie's story. Um, I mean, Janelli died. Yeah, she had sepsis. She had two new twins. Um, and that fear sits somewhere in, in your body. So by taking Julie out of her body, I could actually cleanse and erase that memory and actually bring her back to our authentic self, you know. Um, because fear is an illusion, but that doesn't mean that even I feel fear.

Yeah.

Because I'm walking in a physical human body, you know? So without the Reiki, I don't know who I would be or where I would be. But equally, I don't know where I would be without my angelic friends either. Does that make sense? Have I gone off on a tangent a little bit?

It— no, honestly, like, this is fascinating. And yeah, so you know what, like, when I was speaking to Julie, she said afterwards she felt such a sense of relief, almost like she felt like she was walking out of your house, like, lighter. And yeah, almost like a sense of, oh my God, thank God for that. It's just like a nice release, do you know what I mean? So it's like almost like you've healed her inside.

And I think I would love to send you the photographs if, um, Julie had a very nasty mark on, um, it's like an infection on her foot.

Yeah.

Um, so we'll send you the photo on Thursday. Sorry, I'll send you a photograph of what her leg was like when she came to me on Friday, and I'll show you a photo of her foot Now the healing is, it is phenomenal.

Is it totally different?

Yes, because once we let go of the fear that's driving all this, the body will heal.

Yeah.

I mean, I've got a plant, honestly, I love orchids, right? And I got this orchid and my husband is classic for throwing them away when they die. So I kept this one and I will send you a photo. It is blooming. It is absolutely blooming. Because plants need Reiki.

Yeah.

That energy. We all need this vibration. We, we all run out of vibration.

I was going to say, so basically when I first talked about you on my podcast, so many of my listeners, so many of my members you know, people that I'd never spoken to ever before were like, I need this woman's details. And all of my members that had got in contact with you, you had said straight away, just like how you did with me, because I text you— I didn't send you a message off Canny Crystals or anything like that. I text you so that you would have no clue who I was. And they text you as well asking for an appointment, and straight away you were giving them like little tidbits of information. And they were like, yeah, oh my God, I haven't even spoken to her yet and she's already telling me stuff over text. Is it correct? Now, probably about 20 of my members have had sessions with you, distant. And I think for me personally, I always thought Reiki is something that you need to do, you know, hands-on— well, not hands-on as such, but like you need to be there physically. And even just this weekend when I was talking about having you on the podcast with one of my friends, Fran, she'd said, when I'm up in Newcastle next year for Manifest, the event, please book me a session because I want to go and see you face to face. And I said, well, in the meantime, you can see a distant and she just went, nah, it's not the same, is it?

It is.

So what's the difference between distant and physical, right?

So there's two, there's two answers to that question. So because I'm a medical intuitive, right, so basically, I don't know if your listeners know that I'm also a medium as well. So, um, I cannot predict anyone's future. I'm sure there's people out there that can, but I'm not somebody— I believe that your destiny is ultimately your own. So you have choices, um, walking in the physical body. Now, mm-hmm. When I'm looking at someone's message, so say someone sends me a text message, what'll happen is I'll instantly get a feeling.

Yeah.

And then you can guarantee your pound or penny, I'm gonna hear somebody from the other side. So someone again who's lost their mum and they'll say, you know what, um, right, so I'll say, right, their priority, uh, or I'll say to somebody, you're very dehydrated, I need you. To. But actually, Mart, um, one of your listeners who I haven't met yet, and she's actually booked in with me, she's local, so that's good. She's booked in next week. I actually, um, talked about red blood cells, and I only seen a photograph of her head, basically, right? So for me, um, I'm telling you, this girl has anemia, um, because her red blood cells, just looking at her head That's all I could see was the red blood cells looked enlarged for me. And that's my clue to go, ah, that's anemia. And she did message me back and I can validate all this. And she said, yeah, this so resonates. I've got a history of anemia. Now for the skeptics out there, how the heck would I know looking at her face? Do you know what I mean? Yeah. But yet again, I couldn't do that on my own. So that's me using the angelic realm. That's me using my great pals in the spirit world. Now, distant Reiki has, so it can be delivered across all space, time, and spheres, right? Okay. The universe doesn't have any time, does it? And it just, as it's not, it's not always negative, but it's not positive either. It just is. Okay. So it's so sad to make all the, the shebang about it. All right. The universe is just the universe. Okay. So what I do is by asking the client for their date of birth and their full name. Okay, so that DNA is the date of birth. Okay, that's what— there could be another Mart Tweedy out there, but your date of birth is really important to me. Okay, so what I then do is I ask the client to lie down. If they're out shopping in Tesco the Reiki is not gonna work, all right? Because it will work, 100% it will work, right? But they'll feel a massive, yeah, boosh, a bang of Reiki in the middle of Tesco, and that's really not where you want to feel it. Um, can I just say there is other supermarkets out there? Um, I'm just basically saying, so, so basically what, what will happen is they lie down, I, I will be at home I will give the full name and date of birth, and being a Reiki master means I get symbols, so I will draw symbols over the client's name. And I often ask for a photograph as I like to visualize where I'm sending the healing. But equally, I have a consultation with everybody before I would start that. I just look at their face and I'm thinking, mm, yeah. Yeah, right. Okay. And then 5 minutes before I start the distant reiki, yeah, I will scan their body and then I will come back to them and everyone can vouch for this. I'll do a little voice message saying, I mean, I had a lady who had had a full hysterectomy because I couldn't see a reproduction, a reproductive system, and she was just blown away. And then I had another lovely lady, another one of your listeners. Who had a C-section, um, and she had adhesions. So she had scar tissue where the inside of her body, where the scar was on the outside. Uh, the same lady I did diagnose with basically Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, EDS, all the things that you couldn't randomly know about, you know. And she's happy, man, she's happy to validate all this as well. That's why I'm using that as an example. So it doesn't matter where you are in the world, Reiki can be delivered. Does that make sense? It does.

It is. I, I found— I find it absolutely fascinating now that you've explained it, because it's just like when you think about Reiki, you just think that you need to physically be there for them to hold the hands over for the healing. But if someone's sending you that energy, it's like— and you, you read it intuitively as well, so it works totally different, doesn't it?

Often I find that distant Reiki can be more powerful because like you, I'm a little bit chatty, right? And, and I love people, and you know that. It's like I just find everybody— I mean, what an amazing job. I just find everybody so interesting, so you tend to chat.

Yeah.

Where the Reiki, um, distantly just takes the emotion out of it. Yeah, it like delivers.

So getting back to angels as well, so You know, we know how angels kind of communicate with us, don't we? Like, they'll leave a little feather here and there, or we might feel a little touch, or we might feel presence. How can we become more aware of, like, angelic presence? Because when I first met you as well, and you were describing angels to me, you'd said, you know, if someone had tried to take their own life, for example, the angels would be protecting them with their wings wrapped around them, and there was little, like, telltale signs like that. So how do we detect and be more aware of angels' presence in our daily lives?

So really, in loads of ways. Numbers. Come on, everybody sees numbers, don't they?

I've got 111 tattooed on my leg now. I see it all the time. And I'm triple Aries in moon, sun, and rising. I can't remember. I'm triple Aries anyway, so I've got the Aries symbol and I've got 111 because it's in my first house for everything.

It's magic, isn't it? See, I don't understand about astrology and stuff, and I'm fascinated in it, so I'm going to read.

I'm learning.

I'm going to learn about it. I just leave that to the professionals. I just want to be, you know, someone who enjoys reading about it.

Yeah.

So numbers are really pretty profound. Also smells. Absolutely. You know, and sometimes it can be like really foul smells, actually. I'm going to be honest. It's not always like, you know, lilies. Or vanilla or anything.

I get a whiff of my grandma's perfume every now and again, and it'll be weird. Yeah, and it'll be weird that I've just been thinking about it, and all of a sudden my senses go and I can smell the perfume she used to wear.

Or people will talk about smoke, you know, em. Yeah, and yeah, that, that's really common. And what's interesting as well is angels can really, really wake you up if you, if need be. Now, angels can't intervene without permission. Okay. But remember, angels cannot always tell you what's gonna happen because you, you've chose this physical life, you've chose this incarnation. And so we are all learning. Okay. So what I tend to do is every morning, now this is just me, I'm not, I don't belong to any religious, you know, views, but I always say, good morning, God and the universe and the angels. How may I be of service? You know, so that's basically me saying, you know what, and I just imagine myself networking. Imagine myself standing on top of the earth, loads of little lights going on, and that those little lights are people I need to see, and the angels will bring the right people to me, you know. But if you're a complete novice and you're really struggling at the moment, I would suggest that— sorry, I'm just listening to the angels that are saying— I would suggest you just kind of go Hello there. I'm a bit of a novice here, because remember, angels don't want to be worshipped. They are just messengers of God. Okay? So, I am open to receiving some angelic guidance. So be it. You know? I mean, angels aren't all archangels, you know. We have normal angels that walk the earth. And let's face it, they're very unemployed at the moment. So they're just double desperate. To hear from you guys and to say, you know what, I'm struggling a little bit. Who isn't in this current climate with war and destruction within the world? The angels are just so desperate to work with us, not against us, you know? And it's just a feeling you'll get. Sometimes the temperature can change.

Yeah.

Sometimes we can feel warm and fuzzy. Sometimes we can feel freezing cold. You will just know when you have an angel encounter. But, but also, have you ever, Mart, been in a place where, where you thought, like, what the hell? You've gone into a cafe, right, for a cuppa, where you've, you know, just on a whim, and you've met somebody that's maybe gave you some amazing information, and then you've come out of there and your whole life's changed. Now, angels can channel people as much as they can me.

Yeah.

They'll just appear when you need them.

Yeah, I was going to say that has happened before in the past. There's been, there's been like times, for example, where I've been really ruminating on like, how do I get past this block, or how do I like progress in this area of my life? And I've just been like so in my head about it, and then all of a sudden I've just like bumped into someone in the street, or they've said something out loud on the phone, and I'm like, that was meant for me. Yeah, I heard that, and it just totally lifted me, and I'm like they've just delivered a message to me, and I wouldn't have heard that if I hadn't been aware, if that makes sense.

Absolutely.

It happened like— it happened at the gym a few weeks ago. I was asking for an answer, and I just kept on saying, come on, universe, show me a sign, I need to know the answer to this. And then someone at the gym said something to me, and I was like, oh my God, this is a sign! It's the sign that I was waiting for. He said it so perfectly, and I was like, this is what I've been waiting for. It was just unreal.

So that's angelic channeling. So basically, if angels think you are completely way off the mark, right, they will do something. The only time angels will really intervene in a big style is usually when somebody comes to see me and they're thinking, they're contemplating suicide, unfortunately, or they've thought about that. That's when they'll intervene. But unless you're going to die before your time, you know, have you heard of stories when cars have been lifted? Women or men have found inner strength to move a vehicle. That's angelic. Or like somebody appeared and then disappeared. Yeah, you know, like this guy appeared and saved my life and then you can't find him. Yeah, you know, that's a real big angel moment. But we don't— we shouldn't wait for the big angel moment to trust. We are living in our ego a lot of the time, you know, and our subconscious mind is actually wreaking havoc. So it's actually about just being in the quiet, being in the now. And just sitting and believe in yourself, really.

Yeah, it's something that I need to get a lot better at because it's only since, really since I spoke to you, that I've started thinking about angels. And obviously I've read books on them, I've read, um, you know, Kyle Gray's got a few good books on angel practices and things like that. But it's only recently that I've started like actively working with them and talking to them over the last couple of months. Um, and obviously when we have Reiki, that's mainly for like cleansing and clearing energetic blockages as well, isn't it?

Yeah.

So How does that angelic kind of energy support that process? How can it enhance our healing on a deeper level?

I think I can't do one without the other. I think other people can. So what I would suggest is someone maybe— oh, maybe you're going to say another healer that isn't me, because Mart, if I'm honest with you, I haven't met anybody like me. Have you?

No, I haven't. You, you are a one-off.

It kind of makes it really difficult for me to explain that because just as, you know, when people go, well, you know, how can I become more of a medium? This is all I've ever known. I've never done a course with it, nor do I read books about angels, nor do I. So this is really different for me doing your podcast because nobody ever asks us these questions. They just come and think, well, she knows what she's talking about. So yeah. But it has been difficult and it's been really challenging, but I can't do one without the other. I think what I would say is that the Reiki is my, yeah, my ego, if you like, even though it's brilliant on it because it's what people will understand. People have heard of Reiki now. Back in the day when I'd done it, that it was very new back then, but now everybody's talking about Reiki. But I Reiki myself And I Reiki myself because anybody who does know me knows that the last 3 years has been very difficult for me as I did have a near-death experience, um, totally out of my control, and I'm still navigating my way around the new me. So, and I, I have to be really honest and say that without my Reiki, I don't think I would be here.

Yeah.

Giving you, you know, obviously been a, a guest and very honored to be a guest on your podcast today, but I just definitely believe that the two go par and par. However, other Reiki masters will work completely different to me. That doesn't mean I'm the best at what I do. It just means I'm an individual and I treat everybody who comes here. You could have 10 people and they will all take away something different from their experience. And what I like about the energy is that I wouldn't want to use one without the other.

You know, a lot of people listening to this will be really inspired, but they'll also feel, you know, deep down inside a little bit disconnected or a bit overwhelmed. So yeah, what message do you kind of believe the angels want them to hear right now? Because I know you've been hearing voices all the way throughout this.

Do you know, to be fair, I think everybody at this current time does feel disconnected. I think disconnection is a normal process to go through, especially somebody, especially on their spiritual journey. The amount of people— I don't know if you've ever experienced this as well— is as your vibration rises more, um, you tend to lose interest in some of the friendships even that you've had over the years. And a lot of people feel really bad about that, you know, as in We've got unemployment, a lot of unemployment at the moment, you know. Well, we have a lot of depression around, and especially with males. Now, I, I would like to do a podcast myself about men's mental health because men just don't talk.

Yeah.

But I can't really imagine many men standing outside going, well, hello, angels, can, can you come in? Yeah. So I just want them to think about having the intention because you know, intention of wanting to connect with an angel is enough for me. Yeah, you know, and you know, on your darkest days, in your darkest times that you have, it's the angels that get you out of that. Because often, you know, we've all been upset, but then there'll be a sense of calm, or that, I don't know, that answer to a question that you're thinking of. I just, the message I want to relay is that we are not alone. And, you know, nobody's ever alone.

Yeah.

And it's about, you know, reaching out. If you feel like you can't reach out to somebody in the physical body, then what you got to lose? What you got to lose into just asking, you know, give it a go. What I said, good morning, angels. I'm a bit of a novice here and I could really do with your help.

I love that. And it's amazing what you get back as well.

It is.

Like I say, it's not just a voice that you would hear or anything like that. It's just like little serendipitous moments that happen throughout the day. Day and you're like, that could have been a sign from the angel, that could have been a sign from the angel, this could have been a message, do you know what I mean? And it's just like it all mounts up. Even just seeing angel numbers, like, like what we're saying earlier, like I've seen 222 so much this last week or so and I was like Googling all these different meanings and, you know, because there are different like descriptions on what they actually mean and stuff, like in terms of love, in terms of money, in terms of business. And I'm like, fuck me. I was like, I'm seeing 222 everywhere. Even this morning I went to the gym and I looked down at the treadmill and the time was on 222. As soon as I looked down, I was like, trust me to glance down at that exact moment that it was 222. It's just wild.

So stop, Mart. Instead of going on Mr. Google, right, and thinking, I need to work out what these numbers mean, I need to know what this is and that says, I need you just to sit in the present moment with your eyes closed and actually write the first thought that comes into your head. What are they trying to tell you? You know, but you will know the answer.

Yeah.

And that's what we do in society now. It's always fast, fast, fast, fast, fast. But actually, I visualize a white chair in my head to stop my subconscious mind from wreaking havoc and go, what actually is it you want?

Yeah.

And once you address that, it stops the subconscious mind from like taunting you. Yeah, because it'll go, oh shit, I'm not gonna do that anymore, because like it just doesn't buy into it anymore. So he stops doing that. But equally, I know everybody can't be like me because my gift is a gift and I'm very grateful for that, but it can also be a curse. Yeah, because I don't like crowds of people. I'm very anxious when I'm out. I can feel really isolated because I haven't got many friends. And I've got some great friends now, amazing friends, I don't know whether people used to want to be my friend because of what I could do or because of me as a person. Yeah, but I think what people aren't aware of, like, see Manifest, right? If I was standing— your Manifest that you're doing is amazing, but could you imagine me standing on your stage? I would see everybody's dead people. I would see everybody's angelics, you know, angels, and it would just be magnified for me. So But having the near-death experience has changed my, my perception of me as well. I've been told that I do have a mission, and I am, I am going to get out of my ego and try a lot harder. So guess what? We're all in this together. So yes, I talk to angels, but I need to be talking, yeah, to angels on a platform that reaches lots of people. And in order to do that, I need to get out of my ego. So Yeah, you know, I'm practicing what I preach.

I love that. And you've just said that you don't really like being in big crowds of people, but you're not exactly standing up on a stage at Manifest, but you are attending, aren't you? And you are basically going to have your own little stall where people can come for a little private one-to-one or something like that. We haven't really worked out the finer details, but you are coming. And I know a lot of people, especially your Scottish and Northern clients, are going to be really excited about that, aren't they?

And I think in the future when you do another manifest as well, because this is just the beginning for you, Bonnie lad. Do you know what I mean? I would like to do a live demonstration.

Yeah.

And because this, like I said, it's the only thing, right, that I am 100% sure that I can do. Yeah. And actually, another one of your listeners is actually a TV director, and she actually said to me, Doreen, what you need to do is you need to show people and film it. She says, because that'll just shut the skeptics up. And I said, mm, but will it? So you know what, I think by being at somewhere like Manifest and standing there and actually randomly picking somebody out of— I mean, how many people's come in, Mart?

Probably about 1,600. So not many.

Oh my God. Shut up, Lorraine. Do you know what I mean? Like, like, I'm literally being told to say this, do you know what I mean? And, and then get somebody— I mean, Martin, you know me well enough that I don't even know who celebrities are. I don't watch TV, I don't, I don't read magazines. I'm absolutely like, I've been living in a different time zone for like 53 years, do you know what I mean? But I feel like that is the only way to get the message across, is actually I can talk, talk about it till the cows come home. But I need to show people. So yeah, I mean, they can send photographs, your viewers can send photographs. I could have a look at those and see what I pick up on. You know, I'm very much open.
