Hello everyone, and thank you so much for joining me on another episode of Canny Crystals, the podcast. My name is Mart Tweedy, I'm your host. And I've got something to confess to you. For the last, I'm gonna say 6 or 7 weeks now, I thought I've been having a bit of a recording issue, and I have been having to record my episode and they've been very, very quiet. So I've been having to go in, into the mixer, you know, like fiddle around, make my recording so much higher and stuff like that. And this has gone on for like 6, 7 weeks now, like I say. And I've just realized that when I was recording, I was just about to press record there, my microphone was set at 23% volume. 23%! So that is why I've had this issue. Is it Mercury retrograde? Yes, totally is. Can you believe that we're already into December anyway? So many of you have reached out over the last few weeks asking if I'm doing my Achieving Your Goals workshop again, because, you know, Christmas and New Year, I usually do it in between then. You lot found it so beneficial last year, and I'm here to say Unfortunately, I won't be doing it this year. The only reason being is that I'm going to be away from Boxing Day until the 2nd of January in Northern Ireland at Johnny's dad's. So I don't want to be carting me ring light, me microphone, and all that jazz over there. And to be totally honest with you, I'm going to have a week off work. This will be my first week off work this year. Can you believe that? It's also baby's first Christmas as well, so I feel like I just really want to be present for him. And, you know, make some real memories that I can treasure for a lifetime. But what I will say is that if you did the Achieving Your Goals workshop last year, guess what? You still have access to it. You still have access to the workshop itself, as well as the meditations, the subliminals, the workbooks. So feel free to go back and do it again between Christmas and New Year, just to set yourself up for success in 2025. Now, if you missed out last year, I've got you covered too. So don't worry, because I've reduced the price of all of my courses and workshops shops for Black Friday. And then I thought to myself, actually, you know what, I'm going to run this until January. So you can still get it for the reduced price of just £22.22 at cannycrystalsacademy.co.uk, which works out at less than 6 pence a day when I've worked it out, you know, less than 6 pence a day, less than 6 pence a day to ensure that you have a productive and goal-hitting 2025. And once you get it, it's yours for life. You can do it every year until you die if you really want to, just like with all my other courses. And speaking of other courses, if you are on the Academy newsletter, you'll have seen that I added two more courses recently. So one is Manifesting Abundance Basics, which goes right back to basics, teaches you all the fundamentals of the law of attraction, including video content, meditation, subliminals, the lot. And then on Sunday just gone, I also released a Tarot for Beginners course, which you lot have gone wild for, quite frankly. Over 50 of you joined in the first 12 hours, so Thank you so much for that if you've got that, and I really hope that it helps you learn all about how to read for yourself or other people with the help of tarot cards. And guess what? Both of these are just £22.22 as well until January. So head on over to the Academy to get started with your spiritual self-development journey if you are interested. Anyway, this week I was listening to someone on our local radio. I think it was BBC Newcastle, um, and she was talking all about vision boards. And it felt like everything I— well, and I'm sure that you lot already know, but then she mentioned something quite interesting that really made me think. So she asked the presenter, "Have you ever stopped to think about what your home is saying about your dreams and goals?" And you know when you just zone out from a conversation because you're in deep contemplation? I just went off into dreamland, and it made me think, what is my home saying about my dreams and goals? Like, is it whispering me desires back to us? Or is it more like a cluttered, chaotic space that's blocking me manifestations? And I have to say, like, right now I've got a playpen that's taken up about a fifth of my living room. It gets filled with more and more toys from his bedroom daily. I've also somehow accumulated this inflatable ball pool filled with these plastic bloody balls. I've got a gigantic 2-meter soft play mat and a baby bouncer in my front room as well. So I was thinking, Christ, my house is chaotic at the moment. So today I just wanted to take today's episode to dive deeper into that idea of transforming your home into a physical vision board. So I'm talking a living, breathing space that constantly aligns you with what you're trying to manifest. Now, I know this might sound a bit out there, but just hear me out, because our homes are just extensions of our energy. They are where we spend so much of our time, and they are powerful spaces to anchor our intentions into them. So I want to share some practical tips to bring this idea to life, but I'm also going to let you into my world as well. So how I've used different spaces in my own home to attract everything from abundance to opportunities to moments of pure joy. For instance, like, I'll never forget when I created this little corner for gratitude in my bedroom. I added some candles, crystals, even this little notebook just where I'd jot down the things that I was grateful for every night before bed. And at the time, I didn't think much of it, you know, it was just a cozy little spot that I liked in my bedroom. But within a few months, I started to notice a shift. So things that I'd been struggling to attract, like customers for my business or podcast ideas, they suddenly felt like they were flowing effortlessly to us. So that one tiny space became a magnet for good vibes. So this is what I'm talking about. So whether you're in a penthouse, a flat, a house, a little rented room, there are so many ways that you can align your space with your dreams. It doesn't have to be a house, just your space, okay? So we're going to turn your home into a manifestation powerhouse. So let's kick things off with one of the most powerful steps in turning your home into a manifestation magnet. You know what's coming? It's decluttering and clearing out that old energy. Now, I know decluttering might not sound like, you know, the most sexy or exciting thing in the world. Trust me, I've been there. But just hear me out, because this is where the magic truly begins. So think of your home as a reflection of your inner world. So if your space is filled with chaos or clutter or things that just no longer serve you, it's a bit like having a noisy radio playing in the background of your mind, but all of the bloody time. So it's going to be distracting, it's going to block that flow of the things that you're trying to manifest. But when you clear out the old, you're literally making room for the new, both physically and energetically. So let me share a little story just to show you how powerful this can be. So a couple of years ago, I was feeling really, really stuck in my business. It was quite stagnant, you know. I was trying everything. I was marketing, I was going on social media, I was on TikTok every day going bloody live. Oh, it was horrific, right? I just had no time for me. I was meditating, I was scripting, I was visualizing. It was almost like manic manifesting, but nothing seemed to be moving. And then one day I decided to tackle this cupboard in my house that I've been avoiding for months. And you know the one I'm talking about, that, you know, inverted commas, everything cupboard. It was stuffed with random cables, old notebooks, broken pens, wellies, a broken hoover, things that I just hadn't touched in years. And as I started pulling everything out, I realised just how much emotional weight I'd attached to these items. So there were half-finished journals from times when I'd doubted meself. There were notebooks filled with ideas that I'd just abandoned. It was like this cupboard had become kind of like, I don't know how to say this, like a shrine to all of me fears and failures. So clearing that cupboard out felt like therapy. I kept the items that felt aligned with me future, and I let go of the rest. And the wild part is that within a week of clearing out that cupboard, I landed two new opportunities that completely shifted my business. It was the week before I spoke to Stella McCartney and Chanel. They were two huge things that boosted my business last year. Coincidence? You know, maybe. But I truly believe that by letting go of the old energy in my space, I signaled to the universe that I was ready for something new. So decluttering isn't just about getting rid of stuff, it's about creating space for what you want. So start small. Just choose one area of your home to focus on. Maybe it's a drawer in your kitchen, maybe it's a shelf in your bedroom, maybe it's even your handbag. Don't overwhelm yourself by trying to tackle the whole house in one go because it can be overwhelming. And who has like 6 hours to go and gut their whole house unless they've got a day off work, do you know what I mean? So don't overwhelm yourself. And as you go through your items, just hold each one and ask: 1. Does this support the life I'm creating? 2. Does this bring me joy or add any value to me life? Or 3. Is this connected to a version of me that I've outgrown? So for anything that you decide to let go of, just thank it for the role that it played in your life, even if it's something like a chipped mug or an old scarf or a pair of socks or knickers that have got holes in. I don't know if your knickers have got holes in, but mine sometimes do. You know, that act of gratitude shifts the energy from resistance to release. And then once you've decluttered, just take a moment to clear the energy in that space. So you can use incense, sage, or even sound like a bell or a singing bowl. Personally, I love lighting one of me Reiki infused affirmation candles because it just sets the tone for fresh positive energy. And the best part about decluttering is the energetic shift that you feel almost instantly when you do it. So when you clear out old stagnant energy, you create a sense of lightness both in your space and in your mind. For example, after that big cupboard declutter that I mentioned earlier, I also noticed that I had way more mental clarity. So I felt inspired to kind of map out new ideas for me business and me online courses and me podcasts. It felt like, you know, cleaving that cupboard out also cleared me head if that makes sense. So I've got some practical tips to help you get started with this because like I say, it can be a little overwhelming. So the first tip is to set yourself a timer. So give yourself 20 minutes to declutter just one area because it's amazing how much you can accomplish in a short burst of focused energy. So just set a timer on your phone, don't get distracted, put your phone away, you know, set a timer for 20 minutes. Oh, there's my timer. I can't believe that went off right on cue. That was weird. That was like total alignment. But yeah, set your timer for 20 minutes, put your phone away, and, you know, just give yourself that time dedicated to clearing out one area of your house. Me second tip is to make it fun because, you know, it can be daunting, it can be overwhelming. You can be like, "Ugh, I really don't want to clean today, it's the only day off work that I get this week." Put on your favorite high vibe playlist or podcast like I do. You might even want to listen to this, for example. Just make it an enjoyable experience. My neighbors must hate me when I declutter because I'm singing bloody Sugababes at the top of me voice, honestly. They must think that the fourth lineup of the Sugar Babes is literally in my home. Um, and my third tip is to visualize as you go. So as you clear each space, just visualize what you're making room for. So imagine abundance flowing into that empty drawer, or love and happiness filling the corner that you've just cleared. Okay, so those are my 3 tips, and I've seen this work time and time again, not just for me but for other people as well. So when I was doing one-to-one clients last year, I was working with someone who was struggling to manifest a new job. And I suggested that she start with decluttering her wardrobe, specifically the area where she kept her old work clothes, because she had a uniform, and this uniform was totally not flattering, and it wasn't in alignment with the job that she now wanted. So she donated the items that she no longer loved or associated with that ideal career, and she replaced them with just a few pieces that made her feel powerful and confident. And I remember her sending us photos. She'd bought herself like this little black pencil skirt, this little white blouse or something, and she put it on and she sent me a picture and she said, "I have never felt so glamorous in all my life because all I've ever worn for work in the past is that crappy uniform." And honestly, it made her feel so, so powerful, and within a month she landed that dream role that she wanted. So it's not just about tidying up, it's about creating an environment that matches the energy of the life that you're trying to manifest. So take action today. What's one area in your home that feels like it's holding you back? Is it your desk? Is it your wardrobe? Is it that dreaded miscellaneous drawer in your kitchen? Just pick one small space and start today, because every item that you release is an energetic invitation for something new and exciting to come into your life. And this is where your manifestation journey begins—one drawer, one cupboard, one room at a time. Trust me, the results will blow you away, and it'll all help to make space for your dreams to unfold one step at a time. Now I'm in Denise Duffield-Thomas's Money Bootcamp as well, and she always talks about this when she talks about decluttering. Like, someone will say to her, I've decluttered my entire house top to bottom, I haven't received a bit of abundance, I've given thanks to it, nothing's happened whatsoever. And then Denise will say, go and shave your legs. And the people must think that Denise has lost the plot, but honestly, if you can't find something to declutter, declutter your body hair. It's still an energetic movement that is getting rid of things that no longer serve you, that you don't want, and it will ultimately bring in abundance. So once you've cleared the space, you've set the stage for that fresh energy, it's time to get intentional about what fills your home. So this is where the fun begins, because your home isn't just a place where you eat, sleep, Netflix binge, whatever you do in your house. It is a canvas for your dreams. So every item that you choose to display has the potential to become a powerful affirmation of the life that you're creating. Think of it this way: every time you glance at a piece of decor, it should spark something in you, whether it's an affirmation, a goal, or even a sense of gratitude. It's like scattering those little reminders of your vision board throughout your home. So let me tell you how I first discovered this idea. A few years ago, I was deep into my manifestation journey, and I decided to look at my house with a set of fresh eyes. And I realized that so much of what I'd surrounded myself with wasn't actually aligned with what I truly wanted. For instance, I had this very generic piece of art in me hallway that I got from TK Maxx for like £5. It was just something that I picked up on sale. It didn't spark any joy, didn't spark any excitement. It was kind of just like there. So I decided to replace it with something meaningful. So I found a print of an inspiring quote that reminded me to just stay aligned with me goals. And now every time I walk past it, I can't help but smile and feel motivated. That simple change shifted the energy in my entire hallway. It went from feeling like just a pass-through space to becoming a daily pep talk. So to turn your home into a physical vision board, think about the goals and the intentions that you're working on right now, and then find some decor or something that will anchor in those dreams. For example, if you're manifesting abundance, you might want to add a bowl of coins or a framed image of a money tree in your workspace. For love and connection, you might want to display a pair of candles because, you know, there's two candles, the two people in a relationship. You might want to display a heart-shaped crystal or a photo of you and your loved ones. If you're calling in travel, hang some artwork or photos of your dream destinations, you know, and bonus points if you write the date of your future trip on a sticky note and tuck it behind the frame. You could even add quotes or words that inspire you, so maybe it's a framed print on your desk that says I am worthy of abundance, or something like that. Do you know what I mean? So one of my favorites is writing affirmations on sticky notes and placing them in unexpected places. So I've got one on the inside of my bathroom cabinet, I've got one on the inside of my kitchen cupboard, I've got one inside of my office on the mirror. They're like little surprises that keep my energy high throughout the day. So whenever I look in that mirror, I see that little quote and it just makes me smile. Symbols are another fantastic way to align your space with your intentions as well. For example, I've placed a citrine, um, you know, on my desk as a constant reminder to just keep attracting that wealth and those opportunities. In my living room, I've got this little dreamcatcher by the window that symbolizes protection and clarity. It hangs where the sunlight hits, and every time I see it, it just reminds me to stay aligned with my dreams. One of my favorite stories about symbols in the home is, you know, when I was manifesting growth for me abundance, I added this small potted plant to my office desk just thinking it would be a nice touch. But as I nurtured that plant and I watched it thrive, I couldn't help but notice that me business was thriving as well. So it almost became like this beautiful physical representation of that growth that I was calling in. So you could do that in your house as well. So I want you to take a walk around your home and just really look at what's on display. You can ask yourself 3 questions. 1, does this align with me goals and dreams? 2, does it inspire us or make us feel good? And 3, is it just taking up space or does it have meaning? So if something doesn't feel aligned, maybe consider replacing it with something that does. And just like with the decluttering, again, start small. Just add a meaningful item to each room in your house. It could be a photo of your dream home in your kitchen. It could be a journal for gratitude on your bedside stand. It could be a framed affirmation in your hallway like mine. If you're working on multiple manifestations, just dedicate specific areas of your home to each one.. So for example, your workspace might be your abundance zone, your bedroom might become a sanctuary for love and self-care. And then once you manifest a goal, just like you would on a vision board, update your decor to reflect it. Now I'm not saying go out and, you know, spend an absolute fortune on stuff. Like, I think the other day I was in B&M Bargains. If, if you're from America or Australia and you're listening to this, B&M Bargains is just like a— it's just a very cheap shop. Anyway, I bought this candle for $1.99. That is literally a bright red candle. I've put it in my bedroom just because I thought, you know, the bedroom is for love, romance, that kind of thing. Sorry, Johnny's mom, if you're listening to that. But this doesn't have to be expensive, okay? I'm not saying go out and buy a Cartier bracelet and put it on your partner's bedside stand or anything like that, you know what I mean? But just update your decor to reflect that you've hit that goal. For example, if you were manifesting a new job and you landed it, you could frame your offer letter, you could display something that represented that success, and it just keeps the momentum going and it reminds you of how powerful your manifestations can be. So in me own home, I've turned me workspace into a powerhouse of manifestation energy. On me desk, I've got a small crystal grid with citrine and pyrite for abundance. I've got a candle that's focused on prosperity. I've got a vision board tucked neatly into the corner filled with images of me goals. But me favorite item is a small framed photo, and it's just a beach destination that I've always dreamed of visiting. It reminds me to keep pushing forward, knowing that the hard work that I'm putting in now is paving the way for that dream holiday to eventually happen in the future. So think about a space in your home that maybe feels a little uninspired. What could you add to make it more intentional? Maybe it's as simple as a crystal or a candle or a photo or even a sticky note with an affirmation. You know, your home is an extension of your vision board, and with every little touch that you add, you're sending out powerful signals to the universe about the life that you're creating. So once you've done all this, your home will be looking more intentional with its decor, and you'll be ready to add another layer of magic, which is scent and sound. Now, these are often overlooked elements, but they are incredibly powerful tools for shifting the energy of your space and keeping your vibrations aligned with your goals. So think of them as kind of the finishing touches that just complete your manifestation masterpiece. So scent and sound, they directly affect our emotions and our energy. So a certain smell, for example, can instantly transport you to a happy memory, whilst a particular song can shift your mood in seconds. Like, not long ago, I was walking around the Metro Centre, which is like a big indoor shopping centre that we have here in Newcastle. Well, it's actually in Gateshead, but we won't go there. Anyway, I was walking around and I was in Boots and someone had sprayed a perfume and I was like, oh my God, my grandma used to wear that perfume. And all of a sudden I was transported back in time. I was at her house, I could see her, I could smell her smell. I was thinking about her talking to us. And I mean, she's been dead now for— oh, when did she die? She's been dead about 16, 17 years now, okay? But I was instantly transported back to that spot in time. And that is the power of what scents can do. So when you harness those elements quite intentionally, you can create an atmosphere that supports your dreams and just keeps you aligned with your manifestations. So there's a little secret here: one of the quickest ways to change the energy of a space and your mindset, of course, is to change how it smells or sounds. It's simple, it's effective, and it works like magic. So scents have unique vibrational frequencies, and choosing the right one can really amplify the energy of your home. So choose scents that align with your intentions. So if you're trying to attract abundance, for example, citrus scents like orange or bergamot, they are energizing and uplifting. They're perfect for attracting prosperity. If you were trying to attract love, you could use rose, vanilla, jasmine, because they all evoke warmth and connection, which is ideal for manifesting love and self-care. And then you've got, like, if you were I don't know, trying to manifest calm and clarity, for example, you could use lavender or sage or sandalwood because they help to ground your energy and promote focus as well. And like I said earlier, this does not have to be expensive. I've got a full box of about 20 different essential oils, for example, and I'm going to go out on a limb here, and I think it cost me about £12 on Amazon, and I still use them today. I bought them about 2 years ago. Oils last for ages. Honestly, it was well worth the £12 investment. So in my own home, I also use my Reiki infused candles. Now, shameless plug, but they're seriously amazing, and I use them to bring intention into specific spaces. For example, in my workspace, I light my Wealth and Prosperity candle most mornings, or I pop on an Orange and Bergamot into my oil in my diffuser because not only does it smell divine, but it also helps me to focus on abundance whilst I work. And a diffuser is a great way to just infuse your home with high vibe scents throughout the day. You just choose oils that align with your goals, pop them in some water, and let that aroma create that uplifting environment for your intentions. Burning incense or herbs like sage or palo santo, they're another fantastic way to clear that stagnant energy and to just invite positivity into your space as well. So before I sit down to script or to visualize, I always just like to cleanse my manifestation space with a quick waft of sage or my favorite incense. It's like hitting that reset button on the energy in the room. And then, as I mentioned before, sound as well, because sound works on a vibrational level to shift energy and raise your frequency. So whether it's music or mantras or sonic tools or, you know, whatever it is, incorporating sound into your home can make it feel like a manifestation sanctuary. So you might choose to make a playlist that matches the energy of what you're manifesting. For abundance, you could choose upbeat empowering tracks. For love, you could go for soft romantic tunes. You know what I'm trying to say here. If I'm going to be working from home for the day, and it's usually in my living room, I've got a playlist that I specifically put on for gratitude. So whenever I'm cleaning or journaling or just working in general, I'll pop it on to keep my vibes high in the background. If you're into sound healing, you could bring in tools like singing bowls or tuning forks. I love using my crystal singing bowl when I need to reset the energy of my home. It's just like that energetic refresh button. And you can even use your own voice as a sound as well. So chant some affirmations or mantras out loud because that adds a layer of vibrational energy to your manifestations. So I often repeat affirmations like, "I am worthy of success and abundance," whilst I'm lighting me candle or tidying up. Scent and sound are like those invisible threads that kind of weave your home's energy together. They set the mood, they raise your vibration, and they keep your intentions alive. So light that candle, play that high vibe playlist, Let your home sing with the energy of your dreams. Okay, so your next step is to take a moment today to add a scent or a sound element to one of your manifestation spaces, because trust me, it is a game changer. I want you to make your home not just a space that you live in, but a place that actively supports the life that you're creating. And you can take all of this one step further by anchoring your biggest goals in specific areas of your home as well, because This isn't just about making your space look pretty. It's about turning everyday items into powerful symbols that represent the life that you're creating. So imagine walking through your home, like in your front door, and feeling a constant wave of alignment and inspiration, as if every corner of your house is whispering, "Your dreams are on the way." That's the energy that we are creating here, okay? So anchoring a goal is about connecting a tangible object in your home to an intention. So these objects are going to become physical reminders of what you're manifesting and keeping you aligned every time you see or interact with them. So at some point a day, write down your top 2 to 3 goals. What do you want to achieve in the next year? What are you working on manifesting right now? Whether it's abundance, love, career success, travel, get clear on that energy that you want to call in. And then I want you to find some objects that resonate with that intention. So these could be crystals, they could be photos, artwork, you know, anything that reflects your vision. It could be practical items with symbolic meaning. For example, it could be a gold pen for signing your dream contract, or it could be a plant for growth and thriving energy. Whatever it is, I want you to then position those objects in areas where they are going to catch your eye. So for example, you could use, you know, for career goals, you could put that in your workspace or your desk. For love and relationships, put it in your bedroom or your living room. For travel, put that in the hallway, the living room, somewhere where you're going to see it every day. If it was health and well-being, put it in your kitchen or your bathroom. You know, just engage with these items regularly. Hold that crystal while you visualize. Light that candle with an affirmation. Simply take a moment to feel gratitude for the intention that they represent, because when you anchor a goal in your home you are embedding your desires into that environment. So it's a form of constant reinforcement. It reminds you of what you're trying to work towards and why you're keeping your vibration aligned with your dreams. And these physical symbols will create a feedback loop because you'll see them, they'll spark that belief, and that belief then reinforces the energy that you're putting them out into the universe. And you don't need to buy anything fancy. Like I said, just get creative with what you've already got. It could be a mug that you love that can symbolize abundance. You could imagine it overflowing with wealth. It could be a cozy throw in your living room that can represent self-care and comfort. Once a goal is realized, replace that symbol with one that represents your next big dream. For example, if you've manifested a new job, swap out the symbol for that goal with something that represents career growth or success in your role. And you can even create short-term manifestation anchors as well. So for example, during the new moon, I often place a small notebook in my manifestation corner just to jot down intentions for that lunar cycle. Let them serve as a daily reminder that your dreams are already on their way. Okay, your home isn't just where you live, it's a co-creator in your manifestation journey. So let it work its magic by anchoring your goals into every corner of it. You'll be absolutely amazed at the alignment and momentum that simple practice can create, because manifestation is an ongoing journey. Your home should evolve with you. So after every few months, I would revisit your spaces just to see what feels aligned and what might need refreshing. So declutter again, add new symbols of your goals, update your manifestation corners as your dreams expand and evolve. And as we're coming to the end of 2024, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you know, this is the perfect time as any to do this kind of thing. Some of us will automatically declutter in December anyway, for example, to make way for all the new stuff that tends to come into our homes at Christmas in way of gifts, children's toys, etc., etc. So do it with all of this in mind and do it with some intention, and you're going to kill two birds with one stone. So when you turn your home into a physical vision board, you're not just rearranging furniture or adding pretty decor, you're creating a living, breathing reflection of the life that you're manifesting. Every intentional change that you make in your space will have a ripple effect on your mindset, your energy, and alignment with your goals. Your home will become more than a shelter. It'll become a sanctuary of inspiration. It'll be a container for your dreams, and it'll also be a constant reminder of that abundant, aligned life that you're creating. And this process does something Incredible, because it shifts how you show up in the world. When you're surrounded by spaces that reflect your highest intentions, you naturally start embodying the energy of your future self. You'll feel more motivated, more grounded, and more connected to your vision for life. And as you align your external environment with your internal desires, you're sending a powerful message to the universe that you are ready to receive everything that you've been working toward. And this isn't just about creating a beautiful home. It's about building a space that empowers you to be the best version of yourself. By aligning your home with your dreams, you are setting the stage for magic to unfold, not just in your space but in every aspect of your life. So I hope that you found this information all useful, and I hope that you'll give this a bash at some point over the next few coming weeks just to get yourself in alignment for 2025.
