Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode of Canny Crystals, the podcast. As you know by now, my name is Mart Tweedy, I'm your host, and this week I was at the Mind Body Spirit Festival in Olympia in London. I had such a fun time. It was so lovely to meet some of you. You know, there was a few people that even came up to me and said that they were coming to Manifest. That just made my heart sing. Oh, it was so nice. And it was just amazing to get to know people and to talk to them. One person, I don't even know her name, right, as we were walking out, she went, Mark, can I just grab you a second? And I went, yeah, of course, thinking she wanted a photo. And she literally said to me, I did your 10-day course I'm assuming that she means the 10-day Limitless Manifestation Accelerator over on the Academy. And she said, "And I manifested £50,000 into my bank account." Now that is wild. £50,000 in the 10 days that the Limitless Manifestation Accelerator was on. That's just absolutely crazy. Absolutely crazy. If you want in on that, head over to cannycrystalsacademy.co.uk, click on the 10-day Limitless Manifestation Accelerator, See if you can manifest £50,000. I wish I could manifest bloody £50,000. Jesus Christ. Anyway, I'm going to do it myself this week and see how I get on. Going through me old notes and stuff like that, because Jesus Christ, that's one of the best success stories I have ever heard in my life. One woman that came up to us even had a copy of Limitless, and she'd been running around all day trying to find us. She came over and found us when Francesca Amber was on the main stage, and she just wanted me to sign a book. Bless her, she was absolutely lovely. But a big hello to everyone that I met over the weekend. Right, on with today's episode. So earlier this week I put a little Q&A on my Instagram and I just asked, what are some of the biggest things that you want to know about crystal healing, manifestation, mindset, spirituality, whatever it is, whatever's on your mind, just tell me and I will answer it. So we're going to dive straight in with the question. So I've wrote them down. I haven't wrote down any of the bloody names, have I? Shit, I've just realized. Anyway, let's just go on with it, right? So question 1 is, can crystals really help you manifest things, or is it just placebo? Right, so this is the big one, isn't it? It's the question that separates, you know, the crystal curious people from the crystal converted people. So this is the tea: crystals aren't some magic vending machine where you just whisper your wish and then boom, here comes a Range Rover rolling up your drive. I mean, if it did work like that, I'd be doing this podcast from a beach in Bali, probably with a piña colada in one hand, an Aperol Spritz in the other, and a giant chunk of citrine on me chest. But do crystals help you manifest? Now my answer is yes, but not in that Disney fairy godmother kind of way that people sometimes expect from it. Because crystals are tools, you know? They are beautiful, they are sparkly, they are energetically charged tools that help you focus your intention. And that's where the real magic is. It's in that focus and that intention. Because when you hold a piece of rose quartz, for example, and you affirm, "I am worthy of love," what's actually happening? You're shifting your focus. You're telling your brain, you know, "Hey, this is important. Let's act like it." And then over time, your thoughts, your actions, and your energy start aligning with that belief. And that's not just spiritual fluff either. There's neuroscience backing this. Your subconscious loves a good ritual. It eats it up, in fact. The more consistently you send it signals, the more it's going to rewire how you behave and how you see the world. Now, is some of it placebo? Honestly, maybe. But let's flip that around a second, you know. Placebo means your mind is so powerful it can create a physical or emotional result from belief alone. Now, that's not a weakness, that is a superpower. So if holding a piece of amethyst makes you feel calmer and you show up calmer to your day, then guess what? It worked. Job done. Whether that's because the crystal is actually vibrating at a frequency of peace or because you believe it is, it doesn't really matter. You feel better at the end of it. And I always say, if your placebo, in inverted commas, if your placebo also happens to be sparkly and looks great on a shelf, Even better, you know. No one ever had their life changed by a paracetamol that they placed on the bedside table. Do you know what I mean? So yes, crystals help, but the real power is that it's always been you. The crystal is just your wingman. Okay, so I hope that that helped you. Question number 2 that I wrote down is: if I'm doing everything right with manifestation but nothing has shown up, what might I be doing wrong? So this is the classic kind of, I lit the candle, I did the full moon ritual, I whispered me desires into the void, the universe still ghosted me. Okay, so first of all, I just want you to breathe. You're not doing anything wrong, and you're definitely not cursed. Okay, I've been there too. I've sat with a vision board that looks like a Pinterest masterpiece thinking, why am I not living this life yet? And I get it, it's frustrating. Okay, but here's the thing: sometimes when nothing is showing up, it's not that your manifestation isn't working, it's just that, you know, something deeper is happening here. The universe isn't Amazon Prime. You don't order your dream life on Monday and expect delivery by the Tuesday. There is divine timing involved here, and sometimes some divine teaching as well. So let's break that down, because you could be doing all the visible things, you know, you could be scripting, visualizing, saying your affirmations as if you're on stage at the O2 Arena, but energetically, if you're still sitting in self-doubt fear, or attachment, you're actually broadcasting resistance. So it's like pressing the accelerator and the brake on your car at the same time. The car's technically on, but you're not going to be going anywhere. Or maybe, and this one's probably going to sting a little, the thing that you're trying to manifest isn't actually aligned with your highest good. And I know that can be quite hard to hear sometimes, but you know, sometimes we're manifesting from ego instead of intuition. We think we want that job or that house or that partner, but the universe, being the wise old soul it is, is like, "Nah, babe, I've got something better lined up, but you just need to chill for a sec." Do you know what I mean by that? So another possibility is, you know, you're too attached to the outcome. You're watching the kettle boil, but spiritually, okay? So you're checking your manifestation as if it's like a pizza delivery tracker, and that kind of energy, it screams lack. It's basically telling the Universe, "I don't trust you," and the Universe is like, "Okay, cool, I'll wait until you do." So if you're stuck in that place, here's what I'd say: just stop, take a step back, just breathe, reflect, maybe ask yourself, "What is this teaching me?" Because often the delay is the upgrade, okay? And just remember, your job isn't to force the how or the timeline. Your job is just to stay aligned, take inspired action, and trust. So instead of chasing it, just let it come to you. You know, what's that saying? I don't chase, I attract. Let it be like that. Pretend that you're a magnet. Okay, so question number 3 is, what is the best crystal for someone who feels super stuck or uninspired? Okay, we've all been there, haven't we? The feeling where you're just, uh, meh. You know, you stare at your to-do list like it's written in ancient Greek. You've got no motivation. Your creativity is doing an impression of a tumbleweed in the desert, basically. So first off, if you are feeling stuck or uninspired, just know that it's not a failure. Please know that it's not a failure, okay? You're not broken. You're probably just overdue for a reset. And luckily for us, crystals are like nature's reset buttons. Now, if I had to choose just, you know, one crystal for this kind of funk, I think my top pick would probably be carnelian. Because, you know, it's fiery red in color. It's like a triple shot of espresso for your soul, okay? It's got this vibrant, punchy energy that just gets your blood flowing and your ideas buzzing again. So it's kind of the Beyoncé of the crystal world. It's confident, it's energizing, it's here to remind you who the hell you are. So carnelian works with the sacral chakra, so that's your creativity center, your passion, your sensuality, your kind of 'I'm ready to take on the world' vibe. So if your energy has been kind of feeling flat lately, carnelian is just going to grab you by the hand and say, 'Right, come on, let's get moving. You've got things to do, you've got magic to create.' But if carnelian's not calling to you, don't worry, there are a few others that are absolute bangers for getting unstuck. I'd definitely say citrine is one of them. You know, citrine is sunshine in crystal form. If your mind's cloudy, you need a bit of clarity or optimism, Citrine's going to bring the good vibes and the touch of confidence as well. I would also say clear quartz, that's the master amplifier, you know. If you've got the tiniest spark of inspiration, clear quartz is going to blow it up into a full-blown firework display. And lastly, I'd probably say labradorite. Like, if you're stuck because of fear or doubt, labradorite is your spiritual hype man. It's just going to remind you of your inner power and help you to get out of your own way. But like I just said in the last question, the key to any of them crystals basically is intention. It's not about wearing a carnelian bracelet and suddenly expecting your entire life to change overnight. It's more about creating a moment, a ritual. It's kind of a, you know, a right, we're shifting gears now, that kind of energy. So maybe you sit down with your crystal, maybe you take a few deep breaths, maybe you journal on what's one tiny step I can take today to move forward. Because the truth is getting unstuck doesn't require a big leap. It just requires a bit of movement, you know. When we stay still, we stagnate. It's just the same with our energy. That's what Feng Shui is, you know. We move things around in the home so that the energy can move around, otherwise it stagnates. So you getting unstuck doesn't require that big leap, it's just a bit of movement. And crystals, when used with intention in the right way, you know, they help you generate that movement from the inside out. So what I would say to you is, next time you're in a rut, don't just scroll aimlessly through TikTok hoping for a bit of divine inspiration. You know, grab yourself a carnelian, light yourself a candle, move your body, say an affirmation. Just shake up that energy because you're not stuck, you're just recalibrating, okay? And it's a super powerful place for you to be in. Okay, question number 4 was— where is it on my list? There it is. Do I need to cleanse my crystals every day What's the best, right? Okay, the great crystal cleansing debate. The amount of times I've covered this, but I will cover it again for you, darling. Um, the spiritual version of how often should you wash your bedsheets, basically, isn't it? And if you're panicking that you haven't done that in a while, no judgment, you're in good company. So do you need to cleanse your crystals every single day? The short answer is no. The long answer is it depends on what your crystals are doing and how much energy they are picking up. Because your crystals aren't like, you know, needy houseplants that'll wither away if you don't spritz them before breakfast every morning. I've got one in my living room, honest to God, I don't know how I keep it alive. Well, I'm saying that, I get a new one every 6 months basically because I kill it. I don't understand, I follow the instructions every single time. It's a Kentia Palm. If anyone knows what that is and why I'm killing it, please do let me know. It's not in direct sunlight, I don't overwater it, I give it water once or twice a week, I spray it every day, and it dies all the time. Have to replace it for about £40 from B&Q every 6 months. Does my head in. Anyway, we're not here to rant about houseplants. Sorry about that, went off on a tangent. But what I'm saying is crystals, you know, they aren't like those needy houseplants. They're not going to die if you forget to water them, okay? But they are energy workers, and like us, they can get bogged down, dull, or kind of energetically full after a heavy use. So imagine your crystal like a sponge. This is the best way to think about it. If you've been using a sponge to mop up stress, anxiety, negative vibes from Karen at work, or the emotional tornado that you had during, you know, the last Mercury retrograde meltdown, it's going to be saturated. You know, you're going to need to wring it out. It's got no more space to absorb anything else, and that's when it needs a good rinse, energetically speaking, of course. So if your crystal's just chilling on a shelf and it's not being used much, I'd say a cleanse every month probably will be enough. But but if you're carrying it daily, if you're sleeping with it under your pillow, if you're using it in healing sessions or intense manifestation rituals, give it a regular cleanse, okay? You wouldn't wear the same pair of knickers for 3 weeks straight, would you? Same principle. As for the best cleansing methods, I would say, you know, incense and smoke. You know, wafting your crystals through sage, palo santo, incense smoke. It's quick, it's easy, it's energetically powerful. Think of it like giving your crystals a little spiritual sauna. That's how I see it. I'm always like, oh, this little amethyst is having a little sauna. Beautiful. Um, another one is selenite. You know, this one's a bit of a cheat code. Pop your crystals on a selenite charging plate or in a selenite bowl or on a selenite ruler, you know, next to a selenite wand, and boom, they're cleansed and recharged with high vibe energy. It's the crystal that cleans other crystals. That's queen behavior. Um, another way is sunlight or moonlight, you know, especially under a full moon. This is like a crystal spa retreat. You can leave them on the windowsill or outside overnight, and they'll be glowing the next morning. One of my members came up with this, but honestly, if it is raining outside, for example, and you don't have a Pyrex dish or a Pyrex jug or something like glass or see-through to put over the top of it, put it on your car dashboard. One of the best tips that I have took on board in the last 5 years. Put them on your car dashboard overnight. Perfect. Another way is sound. So singing bowls, tuning forks, even clapping your hands over them if you're in an absolute rush— not going to do much, but you know, sound shifts energy and it is surprisingly effective. Now I know probably someone out there right now is listening thinking, can I not just dunk them in some water and be done with it? I would just say proceed with caution on this one, okay? Because some crystals like selenite or malachite, they they hate water. By a general rule of thumb, I say any that end in -ite, like selenite or malachite, you know, they, they will dissolve over time, or they'll rust, or they'll just generally throw a bit of a tantrum. So just always check first, okay? You can go on to Google, you can type in, I don't know, citrine water safe, and it'll tell you straight away, okay? But the real magic when you're doing any of this lies behind your cleanse. So whether you're waving incense or placing your crystals under the moon, just do it with some love, you know. Speak to it like it's your soulmate, okay? Say, "Thank you for supporting me. I'm cleansing you now to release what you've absorbed." Crystals love that kind of care. Honestly, same. So no, daily cleansing isn't mandatory, to go back to the original question. But you know, if your crystal's feeling a bit dull or heavy, or maybe it's lost its sparkle, that is your nudge. Think of it like spiritual hygiene. It's not an obligation, but a really good habit that keeps your vibe and your crystals shining bright. Okay, so question number— I don't even know what this is— question number 5. Okay, how do I keep my vibe high when I'm surrounded by negativity? Oh, where do I start on this? Picture this: you're happily humming along, you're sipping your tea, you're manifesting miracles like that spiritual Beyoncé you are, and suddenly you're hit with a tidal wave of other people's grumbles. You know, Karen in the office is complaining about the printer, your partner's moaning about the traffic, you open your phone and your Facebook feed is just like screaming doom. You know, bam, your energy goes from Zen garden to zombie apocalypse in 12 seconds flat. If that sounds familiar, I want you to listen up, okay? So firstly, I want you to kind of bubble wrap your aura. Not literal bubble wrap. Can you imagine the ASMR though? But kind of like a quick visualization that you can do in under a minute. So close your eyes, breathe in for 4, imagine a sphere of shimmering light expanding from your heart all the way around you. Choose a color that feels protective, like gold or violet, or even like disco ball silver if you're really bougie, you know. And tell that bubble, only love and above gets through. Anything else will then just bounce off it, okay? It sounds a bit woo-woo, but your subconscious responds to imagery, and that's going to set a bit of an energetic boundary before you even open your emails. Secondly, I'd say deploy the crystal cavalry. You know, black tourmaline is the bouncer at the nightclub of your energy field. Pop a chunk on your desk, carry a tumblestone in your pocket. If you're feeling extra, you know, wear it on a bracelet. It acts like a negativity hoover but without the annoying cord. You know, pair it with smoky quartz for grounding, or even some labradorite if you still need to stay creative while deflecting drama. Just give them a quick cleanse once a week or so if you are using them for that, just so that they don't start storing everyone else's kind of emotional leftovers. And I would say, you know, negativity isn't just people. It's what you read, you watch, and you scroll. Because a 5-minute doom scroll can really torpedo an hour of journaling. You know, set yourself some digital boundaries. Unfollow some energy vampires or mood hoovers. Mute the news. You know, my mom sits and watches BBC News 24 all day long. I don't know how she gets through life. Honestly, just try and keep yourself as positive as possible and don't let anyone else drag you down. Treat your timeline on social media like your living room. If you wouldn't invite it in for a cuppa, it doesn't get your screen time, okay? And I know it's hard, you know, when you're working with people like that, because in the NHS I work with so many mood hoovers, and I totally get it. Sometimes you just can't avoid it. You don't always have time for a full moon ritual when Steve from Accounts is ranting by the photocopier, dear. So instead, practice a bit of a micro reset, you know. Take 3 slow breaths in through the nose, out through the mouth, and as you exhale, just imagine blowing that negativity away. Kinda like, what's that little thing called? A dandelion. You know, them things with the white things that you blow? You know, and bonus points as well if you silently repeat an affirmation. You could say like, "I choose calm." It's basically like sneaky, stealthy kind of spiritual warfare. And nobody will even notice, okay? And I'd say upgrade your self-talk as well, because external noise is the loudest when your inner voice goes quiet. So kind of flood your mental space with something empowering, you know? You could say like, "Your vibe speaks louder than their moans," something like that. The brain loves repetition as well, so kind of slap that mantra onto a sticky note or your phone wallpaper, tattoo it on your forehead— joking, mostly. But you've just got to do whatever you can. And you know, movement is another great way as well because negativity sticks when we stay still. So shake it off, literally. Do a 2-minute kitchen dance, stomp around the garden, try a quick EFT tapping round on the karate chop point. You know, you could say, "Even though the world feels heavy, I choose to stay light." Movement plus intention just unplugs stagnant vibes, okay? Sometimes the most spiritual thing that you can do in situations like this, I'm going to say, is just politely step away as well. You don't need to absorb every rant or fix every problem or hold space 24/7. Just give yourself permission to say, 'I hear you, but I need a breather,' and then take it. Boundaries are self-care with a backbone, okay? So keeping your vibe high, to go back to your question, it's not about pretending that negativity doesn't exist. It's just about becoming a kind of a conscious curator of what you allow in. And a proactive alchemist of what you send out. So think of yourself as a human disco ball. Take in the light, reflect it back out in rainbow beams, and just let the shadows fall where they will. Okay, so question number 6 is— where are we? Can I manifest more than one thing at a time? Okay, short answer: yes. Long answer: yes, but let's chat about it, because this is one of those questions that I get all the time. And people ask me this about subliminals as well. They're always like, should I be listening to more than one subliminal at the same time, or should I just focus it all on one? Okay, this is one of those questions where people end up treating manifestation like a spiritual version of Amazon Prime, like what I was saying earlier. I get it, we're human, we want all of the things. We've got dreams coming out of our ass, okay? The dream job, the soulmate, the house with the freestanding bath, the fairy lights, the clear skin. The bank balance, you know, and we want it all. And why shouldn't we, to be quite frank? But here's the catch: just because you can manifest multiple things at once doesn't mean that you should try and manifest them all at the same time, okay? Think of your energy like a torch, okay? If you shine it in 10 directions at once and you're flinging this torch backwards and forwards, the room that you're in is still going to feel pretty dim. But if you laser focus that torch, you know, you've got power, momentum, clarity, So when you're trying to manifest loads of things at once, your energy can get a bit scattered. You know, if you're trying to manifest 10 things at once, you're only actively giving 10% of your focus to each of those individual things. So it's going to water down the intention behind every desire that you have. And that's not to say you can only focus on one thing at a time. You know, life's not that tidy, I get it. But what I do recommend is grouping your manifestations by energy. So what I mean by that is You might have a cluster of abundance goals such as money, job opportunities, and business growth. And then you might have a cluster for self-love and confidence, such as working on your body image, working on worthiness, self-love, relationships. You know, focus on one energy at a time because that way you're not confusing your subconscious. Because trust me, if you say, "I want a peaceful life," and then 5 minutes later scream, I want to go viral and be famous worldwide. Your energy is sending the universe a mixed signal. You're saying you want peaceful life, and then you're saying you want to be worldwide famous. Like, that is a mixed signal, do you know what I mean? So it's like trying to order a latte while yelling espresso, tea at the same time. Like, what are you actually asking for? Okay, so you need to look into a bit of prioritization and a bit of clarity as well. So for example, when I'm working on multiple manifestations I create myself a little hierarchy, okay? So I think about what's most urgent or emotionally charged, and then I think about what's going to create a bit of a ripple effect for the other manifestations to fall into place. Because sometimes manifesting financial stability first can then make it easier to then move on to travel or freedom or love. You know, it's not about limiting yourself, it's about making the path smoother. And you can also use timelines as well. So think about what are you calling in now and what can be a slow burn. You know, not everything needs to arrive by tomorrow morning. And something that I learned a couple of years ago was umbrella intentions. Now, this is a little hack that I love, but instead of asking for 17 separate things, for example, ask for the umbrella experience. For example, you could say, "I want to live a life of freedom, joy, and purpose." But under that umbrella, you've got the dream home, you've got the aligned work, the love and relationship, the financial flow, but the energy is all unified. You know, it's a vibe, and vibes are the language that the universe understands the best. So what I'm trying to say here is, yes, you can manifest more than one thing at a time, but just don't go into too much of an energetic overwhelm. Just start and be intentional, you know, be clear. And most importantly, you know, stay in the feeling of already having it instead of mentally juggling that spiritual shopping list. Because at the end of the day, you're not manifesting things, you're manifesting experiences. And when your energy is aligned with that vibe, everything else that fits that frequency is just going to flow in naturally anyway. Okay, so I hope that that helped with your question. Thank you for asking it. Question 7 is, what do I do if I can't visualize during manifestation? Right, I often get messages like this, you know, and there is someone in my group, in my Manifest with Mart membership, I want to say it's Lee. I think it's Lee. Lee said to me one time, "I've got aphantasia." And I was like, "Right, okay." Aphantasia means that you cannot see anything when you close your eyes. You cannot visualize. All you see is black, okay? This is the visualization struggle. So you sit down, you close your eyes, you're ready to imagine your dream life, and nothing. Just black screen. Maybe a vague outline, maybe a blurry stick figure that might be you. Suddenly you're panicking like, "God, is me third eye broke? Do I need a refund on me pineal gland?" Just stop right there, okay? Because not being able to visualize doesn't mean that you can't manifest. And I'm going to say that louder for the people at the back. Lee, I hope you're hearing this. You do not have to be a human movie projector to create your dream life, okay? You're not doing it wrong. You're just wired differently. Some people are naturally clairvoyant. That means that they see vivid inner images as if they're watching Netflix behind their eyelids. But other people are more clairsentient, you know, they'll feel things deeply. I've done an episode about this because I'm clairsentient. I feel things, okay? Some people are clairaudient, they hear words or they hear guidance, you know. There's even claircognizant as well where they just know things. But if you're not a visual thinker, you're probably just stronger in one of the other areas instead. And that's not a weakness, it's your strength. So don't force the visualizing. If it's giving you performance anxiety, scrap it. You know, the universe isn't sitting there judging the resolution of your inner cinema screen. You know, what truly powers manifestation isn't the image of the beach house or the dream car, it's the feeling of already having it. You know, joy, freedom, uh, love, excitement, peace. That emotional frequency is what draws things in. Not how it looks behind your eyelids, okay? So if you can't see your dream life, can you describe how it feels instead? Like, how does it feel to wake up in the home of your dreams? What emotions bubble up when you imagine walking into your dream job? How do your shoulders relax when you feel financially free? You don't need a 4K image, you just need that emotional charge. So try this, try some sensory scripting or audio visualization instead. So instead of trying to visualize, maybe just speak or write it into existence, you know? Get your journal or your voice recorder app on your phone, describe your future life like you're telling your best friend. Don't worry about the perfect details, just speak it from the heart. You could say something like, "Today I woke up feeling so at peace, and the sun was streaming through the blinds. I could smell fresh coffee from the kitchen. I had no alarms, so there was no stress, just freedom. It was bliss." "Me phone buzzed with another payment notification. I smiled because abundance flows so easily to me now." You know, that is powerful manifestation. There's no fancy visuals required there. You can also use guided meditations or subliminals. You know, I've got a resource library on Canny Crystals Academy. I have got them all to purchase on cannycrystals.co.uk as well. There are loads on YouTube. There are ones on Insight Timer, for example. If you find it hard to stay in the vibe alone, let someone else guide you there. That's literally why I created those subliminals and those meditations, because not everyone wants to sit silent cross-legged like a monk trying to visualize a future self that they can't see. You know, when you immerse yourself in sound, music, and words, it just helps you bypass the overthinking and just feel it. So if visualization isn't your jam, do not sweat. Your manifestations don't care about your imagination, they care about your energy. So focus on the feeling, not the image. Okay, I hope that helped you. Question number 8 is, which crystal should every beginner start with and why? I get asked this a lot, and you know what, I looked at this question when it came through and I was like, I might just send them my very generic response of, if I give you a magic wand, what would you change about your life? But Honestly, this is the spiritual equivalent of "What's the first album I should listen to from Beyoncé?" or "Which Netflix show should I binge first?" There are a lot of options, okay, but there's always a classic that hits every time. So if you're just starting to dip your toes into crystal healing, you're wondering where to start, I always say go with something simple like clear quartz. Clear quartz is basically the Swiss Army knife of the crystal kingdom. It's the multitasker, it's an amplifier, It's kind of helping you to adapt to your energy and your intentions. It's like if crystals were Pokémon, you know, clear quartz is definitely Pikachu. It's got main character energy, but it still plays well with others. It amplifies everything, you know, energy, intention, affirmation, mood. It's programmable, so you can literally charge it with any intention. If you want to manifest confidence, you know, just program it for that. If you need clarity, set it for that instead. It's kind of like a spiritual USB stick, and it pairs with everything as well— other crystals, your journaling, your meditations, your affirmations. It won't clash or override, it just enhances. And it's affordable as well. It's easy to find, so it's not so delicate that you're panicking if you drop it on the floor. Because the amount of times I've dropped my clear quartz, and it's quite big as well, and it hasn't smashed yet— I've probably just jinxed myself right there, but you know, life happens, it does. Um, but what I would say is if you're not into clear quartz, there's amethyst. You know, amethyst is very chill. It's great for calming the mind, helping you sleep, getting into that intuitive zone. If you overthink, for example, you know, if you overthink 99% of your life decisions— hi, welcome to the club— amethyst is your spiritual exhale. You know, you could try rose quartz. Rose quartz is a softie. It's beautiful for self-love, heart healing, attracting those warm, fuzzy, high vibe connections. It's like a big hug from the universe in crystal form. Another one I'd say, like I mentioned earlier, citrine. You know, it's uplifting, energizing, full of abundance vibes, sunny days, confidence moves, and kind of that yes I can attitude. And I would also say black tourmaline as well. Black tourmaline is your bodyguard. If you're super sensitive to other people's energy, or you're just tired of absorbing everyone else's mood, Black tourmaline is great at grounding and protecting you like a spiritual bouncer, okay? And don't overthink it, you know. When you come to use it, hold it while you meditate, pop it in your bra or your pocket during the day, sleep with it under your pillow, set an intention with it, you know, say it out loud, something along the lines of, "I program this crystal to support me in XYZ." Let the energy do its thing. You don't need a 12-step ritual or to bathe under the light of 7 moons while chanting in ancient languages. Just connect with your crystal. The real power isn't in the crystal alone, it's in the way it helps you shift your energy and your intention and your focus. So if you're just getting started, you feel really overwhelmed by the hundreds and thousands of crystals out there, just breathe, just pick one, let it choose you if you're in a shop. You know, you can go full-on 100% Harry Potter wand moment if you really wanted to. Just start the journey, because once you've made that first connection, trust me, your crystal connection is about to multiply faster than I don't know what. Like, I started out with a handful of 5, by the end of that year I had over 200. It's addictive, get used to it. Okay, so I hope that helped you decide on what your first crystal should be. Question number 9 is, how do I stop self-doubt from sabotaging my manifestations? So self-doubt, I've talked about this a few times, but self-doubt is it's kind of like a little bit of a demon that tiptoes in just when you've lit your candle, you've written your affirmations, you've started feeling the buzz of, "I can have this," and then bam, your inner voice comes in and it's like, "But can you though?" So let me be blunt with you, okay? Self-doubt is normal. We all get it. I know I've referred to Beyoncé a few times in this episode, but even Beyoncé has self-doubt, okay? It doesn't mean you're failing at manifestation. It just means that you're human. You've been conditioned by years of comparison, fear, and limiting beliefs. So of course your mind is going to try and keep you safe by talking you out of those big dreams. But this is the thing: manifestation isn't about being perfect. It's not about never doubting yourself. You know, it's about learning how to recognize those thoughts and not give them the microphone. So how do you stop self-doubt from derailing you, Ahi, you say? Don't fight the doubt. What I will say is get curious about it. So instead of pushing it away or pretending it's not there, just ask it, "What are you trying to protect me from?" You know, usually it's just a scared little version of you that's trying to avoid disappointment. And when you speak to your doubt like that, it tends to soften. You know, you remind yourself that you're not broken, you're just healing. I would say bring in some proof as well, because doubt thrives in the dark. So shine a light on it, you know. Journal out everything you've already manifested, big or small. Free parking as well, that counts, you know. Free cups of coffee, finding a penny on the street, that text you were hoping for, that time that things just worked out magically. Just remind your brain that it's safe to believe again, okay? I would say to rewire the script as well. So every time that self-doubt says, "You're not good enough," you get to respond to that out loud if you can, you know. Say, "Thank you for your opinion, but I'm going to do this anyway." Or even better, what I tend to do, I say, "Come on then, watch me. Come on, watch me." It honestly boosts me. It spurs me on so much. Affirmations aren't fluff. They are mental training, and over time they become your default voice, okay? And what I tend to do is I act anyway. I act it out. So, you know, you don't need to feel 100% confident to take action. Most successful people in the world still do things while doubting themselves, you know. They've just learned to walk with the fear instead of letting it paralyze them. If my brain tells me, for example, that I can't do something, or, you know, it says, "Oh, this is a bit weird. I don't really want you to be going down this avenue in case it doesn't work out," I'm like, "You know what? I'm going to prove you wrong. Watch me do it." So you don't have to banish kind of doubt forever to manifest. You've just got to stop letting it drive the car for you. Let it sit in the back seat with you instead while you take the wheel. You're the one in control. You're the one that's driving, okay? Your manifestations don't require you to be fearless. They just require you to be brave, okay? So I hope that that helped you on your question. And then this is the last question that I wrote from the Instagram questions, and it's question number 10: Is it okay if I don't feel spiritual enough? "Can I still manifest?" Now, I thought this question was quite interesting because what does "spiritual enough" actually mean? Okay, so it's one that I hear like all the time, way more than you probably think that I do. You know, I get messages like, "Mart, I don't have time to meditate every day. I'm not sure I even believe in past lives. I tried a sound bath once and I laughed all the way through it. Am I allowed to be here?" Let me say this loud and clear: yes, you are allowed! You do not need to be barefoot in a forest with 47 oracle decks and a freshly cleansed aura just to manifest your dream life. Spirituality isn't a look, a lifestyle, a competition. You know, it's a connection. It's a connection to yourself, your energy, and your intention. You don't need to feel spiritual enough because there's no such thing. You're not going to get a letter through the post one day saying, "Congratulations, you've now reached level 5 spiritual status." 'Please collect your crystals and enlightenment badge at the door.' Honestly, some of the most powerful manifestors I know, they swear, they drink Prosecco, they haven't even been to a gong bath before in their life, but they're intentional about life. They know what they want. They take aligned action. They believe they're worthy, and that's the magic formula. You know, manifestation doesn't discriminate. It doesn't care if you're a seasoned sage burner moon dancer or someone who's just now discovering what the Law of Attraction even is for the very first time in 2025, you know, what matters is your energy, your belief, and your openness to possibility. You don't need to look spiritual. You don't need to know every single chakra like I didn't until last year. All you need is to feel ready to align with what you want and then take those little steps to meet it. So if you've ever felt like a fraud, or if you feel like you don't belong in this kind of world, Guess what? You're exactly where you're meant to be. We all feel like that from time to time, you know. You're spiritual because you care, because you're asking the questions, because deep down something inside you is whispering, "I know that there's more for me." And I just want you to trust that whisper, okay? Because that's your soul. It doesn't need you to be perfect, it just needs you to listen to it, okay? I never usually answer that question because, you know, it's like I say, it is something that I get asked so much. Like, is it okay if I don't feel spiritual enough? Can I still come to this crystal workshop? 'You know, can I manifest if I'm not spiritual, if I don't like candles and stuff?' And I'm like, really, spirituality is for everyone. We are all spiritual beings. We are all energy. Okay, so I hope that that made sense, and I hope it empowered you enough to realize that you can still manifest even if you don't feel like you're spiritual. Okay, so that is my 10 questions that I had from my lovely viewers over on Instagram. Thank you so much if you submitted a question. There were over 100, so it was really hard to go through them and choose, but I'm hoping that you got something from this episode. I really, really am, because there are some real good nuggets in there. And one thing quickly to mention before I wrap this episode up is that cannycrystals.co.uk now has subscription boxes. So many people have asked me over the last 2 to 3 months. I'm seeing this as divine inspiration. I'm seeing this as the universe like giving me the little elbow all the time, like, come on, Mart, get these sorted. So guess what? They're sorted. They are now live. If you are on the mailing list, you will have got the email last weekend, or you can just head to cannycrystals.co.uk. Just type in the search box, just type in subscription, and it'll come up. Okay, this is a monthly subscription. You can choose, there are two different tiers. One is £10 a month, one is £25 a month. I wanted to kind of make it magical um, magical enough. Because I'm thinking, like, I was thinking for a small box, £10, that's not a great deal of crystals. So there's a few other little items that are going to be put in there as well. It's not just going to be crystals. But what I've also done is I have cancelled out the postage and packaging because it's a subscription service, okay? So, so the first one that is going out this month is based all around wealth and abundance, and it will change monthly, okay? So as an example, with the medium subscription box for £10, you will get 2 tumble stones, a tea light candle, a ritual instruction card, some herbs and spices, and it'll be on the instruction card as to what to do with them. You'll get a cleansing feather and some palo santo as well. And if you get the large subscription box, which is £25, you'll get all of that, but you'll also get a bracelet and a key ring as well. Okay. So these are really, really good value, but like I say, they are going to be based on something different every single month. The first month is Wealth and Abundance. Head to cannycrystals.co.uk. If you just want a one-off box, you can buy just a one-off box as well. You don't need to subscribe. You can cancel your subscription at any point whatsoever as well. You'll get an email as soon as your order goes through telling you how to pause, how to skip a delivery, how to cancel your subscription if you really wanted to. So yeah, go and shop until your heart's content. We cannot use, um, discount codes against these, however, purely because I'm already, um, kind of comping the postage and packaging myself. So I'm already kind of losing out on some money there anyway. So yes, these are perfect. These are a way that I just thought of to, you know, get crystals into the masses. You've got this big ritual instruction card as well, which tells you how to use them. How to get the most out of them, what to do with all of the little bits and bobs. These would be perfect for a gift, actually, a gift for yourself. So enjoy cannycrystals.co.uk. If you want to get involved, just type in subscription in the search box, and I'll stop blabbing now. If you've enjoyed today's episode, thank you so much for listening, by the way. It's the book, basically the audiobook read by me and Francesca Amber. So I hope that you enjoy that. It is out on Audible very, very soon. We are just waiting for Amazon pull their fingers out.
