Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode of Canny Crystals, the podcast. I hope that you're all well. My name is Mart Tweedy, I'm your host. And I know last week on the podcast I mentioned that I'd been feeling particularly a little bit creatively flat, if that makes sense. And I'd said to myself, you know, I'm not even reading anymore. And that was one of the biggest things where I used to get my inspiration for podcast episodes about. So the other day I was in my office and I went over to my bookshelf and I just thought, I'm gonna pick a book here and I am gonna commit to reading this for the next week. Honestly, I have loved it. I feel like I am back. I feel like I've got my mojo back, my spark back, all of the above. Now, the book that stood out to me the most is called— what's it called? Eh, I can't even remember what it's called. The Wealth Money Can't Buy, and it's by Robin Sharma. He is the number 1 worldwide best-selling author of The 5 AM Club. You might have read that before. So, this book is all about the 8 hidden habits to live your richest life. I have learned so much from this book and implementing it in the last 7 days that I thought I just need to talk about this. So the core message here is all about how true wealth isn't just about money, and Robin talks about like this model of 8 forms of wealth, or like 8 hidden habits basically, that together constitute a rich life for us. Now these 8 forms mentioned in the book, they are labeled as growth, Wellness, Family, Craft, Money, Community, Adventure, and Service. And I'm gonna break these down in this episode because I think— I feel like this is a message that we all need to hear, especially today when it's coming up towards Christmas. You know, not many of us have that money, and we always think, you know, if we had that money, everything would be okay and life will be so much easier, so much better. But it's not always the case, right? So this book challenges that societal narrative that financial or material success equals enough, and instead it invites us to redefine our success in a more holistic way. Now, there are so many tools and concepts in the book, like becoming a perfect moment creator, the 10,000 dinners question, going ghost for a year, which so many of my friends have done, and I just wanted to talk about all of this. So I feel very Francesca Amber in the book club here, but I'm going to break down these 8 core principles, what they mean to me, what they'll probably mean to you as well, and we'll go through some top tips of how we can incorporate these into our day-to-day life. Okay, so I just want to ask you before we get started, like, what comes to your mind when you hear the word wealth? What literally pops into your head? So for me, it's money, cars, big houses, maybe that kind of life that I see plastered all over Instagram with the filters turned up to 11. Don't get me wrong, financial abundance, it's lush, right? You know I'm all for manifesting the kind of life that makes you feel secure and free. But I think somewhere along the way we've been sold this kind of half-truth that wealth only lives in your bank balance, and that couldn't be further from the truth. Because I've met people with more money than they can ever spend, and yet they are completely miserable. Like, I know someone who has over a million pound in their business account. He is completely miserable. He's burnt out, he's disconnected, he's constantly chasing something that never quite fills the gap. But on the flip side, I've also met people who don't have much at all by society's standards, but their lives are overflowing. They've got a lot of love, they've got joy, peace, purpose. So what's the difference? That's what I'm going to be talking about, because we live in this world where we are constantly told that we're not doing enough, not earning enough, not being enough. And I want this to be your reminder. I want this podcast episode to be your reminder that wealth is already woven throughout your life in ways that you might not even see. Because true wealth is how deeply you grow, how peacefully you rest, how fully you connect with other people, and how much you give as well. Because it's how much joy you squeeze out of those ordinary moments. So it's that feeling of like, oh God, I'm exactly where I'm meant to be right now, even when things aren't perfect. And this is the funny part, because when you focus on those forms of wealth first, the financial wealth tends to follow naturally anyway, because your energy changes.. So you stop operating from that lack or that fear, and you start creating from expansion, presence, and just being your authentic true self. And I think we've hit a point collectively where people around the world, they're exhausted from chasing more. Everyone wants more all the time. Everyone's been told that success looks like constant hustle or endless productivity, 5-figure months, but nobody's asking like, what is it costing me? What is it costing me personally? So if you've ever ticked off the goal or you've hit a milestone and then you've immediately felt empty again, this episode is for you. Because maybe it's just not that your goals are wrong, maybe it's just that your definition of wealth has been too small. So I'm going to expand that definition. I'm going to talk about the 8 forms of wealth that actually make up a rich life. Now, every single one of these 8 little topics that I'm going to discuss is like a different layer of abundance, and I think when you start nurturing all of them you feel more balanced, more fulfilled, and ultimately more magnetic as well, even before anything big lands in your manifestations. And don't worry, this isn't going to be some preachy, you don't need money to be happy, no kind of nonsense episode. We are going deep into how energy, mindset, and alignment all tie together. I'm also going to be sharing a few personal stories and probably a few home truths along the way, because I had so many home truths and so many things hit home for me when I was reading this book. Okay, so I want to start right at the very top with the first habit of expansion, which is growth. Okay, and when I say growth, I don't mean kind of like growing your bank account or your follower count on Instagram or anything like that. I mean growing you, because this is the wealth that nobody else can hand you. Because you can inherit money, you can win the lottery, you can manifest a pay rise, but growth is all on you. So when Robin talks about growth in the book, he's not talking about reading one self-help book and then calling it enlightenment. He's talking about these daily micro-upgrades. And we've talked about this on the podcast before, haven't we, with, uh, what's that book called? Well, there's two actually, isn't there? There's, um, The Compound Effect and Atomic Habits. That's what it's called. That's what I was trying to think of. Um, so these are like books about how tiny shifts in how you think, act, and show up over time, they can completely change your life. And I love this idea because it's exactly what manifestation really is underneath all those buzzwords. It's literally consistent energetic expansion. So I want you think of growth like this: every single thought that you challenge, every single fear that you face, every single limiting belief that you release, that is like spiritual compound interest. You are literally upgrading your internal operating system bit by bit. But most people want the manifestations without that growth. So they'll say, "I want a new job," but they don't want to face the confidence issues that keep them playing small. Or they'll say, "I want me soulmate now," but they haven't worked on being emotionally available. Now growth asks you to meet yourself where it's uncomfortable. That's the whole point of it. It wants you to question your patterns, your habits, because that, that's usually where the gold is buried. Now I remember years ago before I was deep in all this mindset stuff, I thought that growth meant just reading another motivational quote on Instagram and calling it a day. Like, "Oh yeah, I totally grew today." But meanwhile, I was still reacting to everything going on around us and wondering why I kept manifesting the same situations. And it wasn't until I actually looked at me triggers when I did all me work with Denise Duffield-Thomas, you know, the moments that I got defensive or jealous or scared, that things actually started to shift. Because those moments were like the universe holding up a mirror to us saying, "Oi, this again? Do you not want to evolve yet?" So let's be honest, like, growth isn't going to be glamorous. You won't be sat there like, "Oh my God, I'm so enlightened right now." you'll more likely be ugly crying in your car going, "Why is the universe bullying us?" But afterwards, when you calm down, that is when the clarity hits. That is when you start to realize that you weren't being punished, you were just being stretched. So growth is how you increase your energetic capacity. So if you want to manifest bigger things in life, you've got to become someone who can hold them. Now, you can't attract a peaceful life if you thrive on chaos. You can't attract abundance if you are terrified of risk. The universe is only going to give you what matches your current level of energetic maturity. So growth is basically you saying, right, I'm ready to upgrade me settings. So what I want you to do is just ask yourself, like, where have you stopped growing because it feels uncomfortable? Or what belief do you still carry that belongs to the old version of you? Because when you answer those questions, you'll realize that that is growth. It's not about adding more, it's about peeling away everything that's not really you. And when you fully commit to that, all the abundance or the success and the clarity, all of it will start to show up because you'll become someone who can actually see it. Okay, so section 2 is all around wellness, which is about protecting your energy and your vitality. So Robin, the author, he talks about wellness as a form of wealth. He is basically saying that you can't live your richest life if you feel like shit. And honestly, I think he is spot on. How many of us have got a mystery illness over the last few years and we've laid in bed and we've been like, oh my God, I have taken my well-being for granted? I do this every time I get a sore throat because, you know, my throat is everything. I— a lot of my content is spoken. It's either the podcast or it's subliminal creation or meditation creation, speaking with my members on live calls, that kind of thing. If I don't have a voice, or it's croaky, or I feel like shit, I literally lose about 50% of my job. Okay, so I always feel so much gratitude for my well-being, my wellness, my health on a day-to-day basis now, because the only time I would give gratitude to it in the past was when I fell ill, and by that point it was already too late. Because what is the point in manifesting your dream life if you are burnt out, or you're too exhausted, or maybe you're too inflamed or mentally drained to enjoy it? You can't meditate your way out of burnout, okay? So wellness isn't just hit the gym, eat your greens, drink water. It is a full spectrum thing. It's physical, emotional, energetic, and your spiritual health. So it's the state of your nervous system, your sleep patterns, your mindset, even down to the way that you breathe. So I want you to think of your body as the energetic vessel through which you manifest. If it's clogged, if it's sluggish, or it's running on fumes, your frequency can't stay stable long enough to magnetize anything good. So wellness and self-love and self-care, it's not vanity, it's energetic hygiene. Now I talk about this in my book Limitless, but a couple of years back I was working non-stop. I was coaching, I was recording, I was editing, I was shipping crystals, I was replying to DMs, emails, customer service, all of it. And I'd skip meals, I'd be living on coffee, and I'd tell myself, it's fine, I'll rest when I'm successful. Spoiler alert, that is not wellness, okay? That is absolutely going balls to the wall and just thinking that, you know, one day I will be repaid for all of this time. Eventually my body packed in and it said absolutely not. I was wiped out, me energy tanked. No amount of affirmations could fake that high vibration that I wanted. Now that to me was my wake-up call, because manifestation doesn't mean bypassing your body. It means honouring it. Now we love to say, "High vibe life," and stuff like that, don't we? But half of us are living on Monster energy drinks and hope. Now let's be real, you cannot raise your vibration if your blood sugar's on a rollercoaster. Sometimes the most spiritual thing that you can do is just to drink a pint of water and go to bed before midnight. When your body feels safe, relaxed, and cared for, your energy naturally expands. You'll become more magnetic. You make clearer decisions. You start to trust yourself more, and that trust is the real manifestation hack that nobody talks about because your nervous system can't tell the difference between excitement and danger unless you train it to. So if your dream life feels a bit too big, your body might start to go into panic mode and start to block it. So wellness work, it rewires all of that. It teaches your system, "I'm safe. I can hold this in my thought." So instead of asking, "What do I need to do to manifest?" ask, "What does my body need to feel safe receiving?" So maybe it's rest, maybe it's putting some boundaries in place, maybe it's saying no to those energy vampires and mood hoovers that are around you. Wellness is wealth because it fuels everything else. So ask yourself today, like, what is one habit that drains your energy that you could replace it with?. And then just look after your energy. It'll look after your manifestations, trust me, because at the end of the day, abundance doesn't land in chaos, it lands in calm. Okay, so the third section of the book is family. So this is all about nurturing connection and belonging, and it might not sound flashy, okay, but it's probably the one that matters most when the Wi-Fi is off and your phone battery's dead. Okay, and I don't just mean the people that you share DNA with when I say family, because family can be your closest friends, your pets, your soul tribe, anyone who makes you feel seen, safe, and loved for exactly who you are. Because you could have the fanciest house or the flashiest car, the most ridiculous manifesting journal on the planet, like engraved with all these diamonds and stuff, but if you were eating your dinner alone every single night feeling disconnected, that's not wealth, it's just noise. Okay, so Robin calls this the happy family, happy life habit, and it's about presence over presents. So presence, as in C-E, over presents, T-S. Okay, the true richness of life, it lives in shared moments or laughter or memories and belonging. So family wealth is emotional wealth. It's the ability to give and receive love without walls. So it's how you hold space for the people that you care about and let them hold space for you as well. Because when your relationships feel healthy and grounded, your energy naturally expands. You feel safe to create, to rest, to manifest. So connection regulates your nervous system better than any fancy breathwork ever could. Now I'll be real with you, there've been times that I have been so focused on work or on what I was trying to build that I actually forgot to actually live it. And I'd think, once this launches, once that sells out, then I'll take a break with my family. But those little moments, you know, the Sunday dinners, the belly laughs that I have rolling around on the floor with Jake, the chats that go absolutely nowhere, that I'm just chatting shit with me friends. They are the heartbeat of a wealthy life, and the universe, it loves connection. So when you're in that energy of appreciation and love, you become a magnet for more of that. And also, let's not pretend that family is always smooth sailing. We've always got that one relative who could test the patience of a saint, haven't we? But even that's spiritual work. Family teaches us compassion, forgiveness, and boundaries better than any online course could. Even the other night, I had a call with Manifest with Mart members, and at the end we have a little question and answer session. And Claire, one of my members— I hope she doesn't mind me sharing this with the wider group— but she came off mute at the end and said that she was really struggling with her relationship with her brother, and it was ultimately putting such a huge strain on their family dynamic. Now, sometimes the lesson here isn't keep them close, it's love them from afar and sage yourself afterwards. You've got to set those boundaries for yourself. You know, the relationships around you mirror your inner world. So if your connections are filled with drama, maybe take a peek inside. Are you holding on to unresolved hurt? Are you overgiving to prove your worth? Healing that dynamic is powerful manifestation work because it reprograms your sense of deserving. And when you believe that you're wealthy of love, you naturally start to attract more of it, whether it's romantic, platonic, even financial. So ask yourself today, who truly fills my cup up? And who quietly empties it. Family wealth isn't built in grand gestures, it is built in consistency. It's kind of, you know, those texts that you get from your friends where they say, "I'm so proud of you," or it might be a morning cuddle with your partner or your baby, the time that you choose to listen instead of scrolling. Those are all going to help you. That's the kind of abundance that can't be bought, and it's what your future self will remember the most. Now, habit number 4 in the book is titled Craft, and this is all about turning your work into a legacy. And I want to talk about what craft means because, you know, when I first read the word craft, I started thinking, I don't have a craft, I've just got a job. But hear me out, because when Robin talks about craft, he means your unique contribution to the world. So it's the thing that you create, give, or share that leaves a mark. So whether you're a teacher, You might be a coach. You might even be like a cleaner or a parent, or you might even run a crystal shop like me. This is about showing up with intention. So it's about asking, how can I make what I do an act of art, instead of how fast can I get it done and just move on? So craft isn't just your career, it's how you bring your essence into the world through whatever you do. When you treat your work like a craft, it stops being just a means to an end. It becomes an extension of who you are. So it's the difference between doing your job and pouring your energy into something that uplifts other people. Honestly, that is what manifestation really is. It's aligning your energy with something meaningful enough to magnetize opportunities, abundance, and joy. So I remember, for example, when I first started Canny Crystals, I didn't have some massive business plan. I didn't have any fancy investors or anything like that. I just had this feeling that I wanted to help people feel better because I knew firsthand what it felt like to be at the brink of despair. Every single time I packaged those orders when I first started the business, I'd imagine that excitement of someone opening the box, feeling that little spark of magic that day, and those crystals actually being beneficial to people. Now that grew into a bit of an empire because I would get so many DMs and messages from people saying, how do I use these? What do I do with them? So I started a little blog, I started putting little information leaflets in the orders, And then one day I just thought to myself, how about I start a podcast and I share all the knowledge that I'm learning about these so that other people can learn as well? All of that was free— the blog, the podcast, the information leaflets. I didn't do that for any financial gain. I did that to purely help other people out. That is craft. It's energy in motion. It's care, consistency, and creativity rolled into one. And it's wild how the universe responds to that, because when you infuse your work with genuine love and purpose, it starts to become magnetic. Now, don't get us wrong, I'm not saying that every single day will feel like you're painting the Sistine Chapel, for example. Some days your craft, it might look like answering 30 emails in your pajamas, spilling your tea all down your top. But even then, when you approach it with pride and mindfulness, like, yeah, this matters to people, you are building invisible wealth. Because it's not about perfection, it's about presence. And when you truly master your craft, you raise your energetic frequency. You tell the universe that you are serious about showing up for your purpose, and that's when the synchronicities start rolling in, whether it's new customers, opportunities, ideas, because the universe loves a committed creator. So your craft is how you co-create with the universe. You bring the inspiration, it brings the support. So I want you to ask yourself today, do I treat my work like a calling or a chore? How do you treat your work? Is it a calling? Do you feel inspired on a day-to-day basis? Or is it a chore? Do you only do it because you need money? At the end of the day, wealth isn't what you get, it's what you give. Your craft is your fingerprint on the world. Whether it's your words, your kindness, your art, your energy, your time, let it mean something to other people. Speaking of giving time as well, some of you might already know this if you've been following us for a while, But every Christmas I like to give to a local charity in my area. Now, in the past I've donated, I think it was like £1,500 to a charity just up near me in Newcastle. They basically rehome women and families that have been through domestic abuse, and they are starting from scratch. They have nothing. So they set them up with like the first month rent in a new house. They give them like white goods, for example, like kettles, toasters, microwaves, that kind of thing. Whenever I'm having a clear out of my wardrobe, I take all of me clothes and stuff like that up there. When Jake's been growing out of his baby clothes, I've been taking them up there hoping that they can be reused and repurposed and hopefully be used by a mother that might not be able to afford outfits for her child, for example. So yeah, in a nutshell, basically every Christmas I give to these charities. But like I say, it doesn't always have to be money. It can be time, it can be support, it can be donations. So, I've been thinking about what I really want to do this Christmas and one of the things that stood out for me the most is that my son's nursery, it's right near our house, but my son's nursery, they are severely underfunded. Now, this is a government issue, it's a council issue, I don't know where it comes from, it's probably both if I'm totally honest. But we have this app basically where they upload photos of Jake throughout the day, tell us how he's getting on, what he's learning, what he's developing in, it's really cool. Anyway, they put in the group chat on this app last week or the week before that they were looking for a clothing rail. The reason that they wanted this clothing rail is because they wanted everyone to bring in their pre-loved uniform for the school that is right next to it, and they wanted people to hang them on this clothing rail. And then if anyone was in financial difficulties, they could come in, they could look through and see if there were any sizes available for their child for the next year. I thought this was a really nice idea. So I had a look on Amazon and I saw that there were clothing rails on there for about £30. I thought, you know what, I'm going to order them some clothing rails. So I messaged them back and I said, how many clothing rails do you need? She got back to me and she said 2 ideally. And I said, right, okay, am I okay to just send an Amazon straight to the nursery or the school reception area? Straight away I got a message back saying absolutely not. And I was like, oh, okay. It was quite a hostile message, if I'm totally honest with you. And I just thought, right, I'll order them to myself then and I'll just bring them up. The next message I got was saying, please do not buy new, that is not what we're about. Now I thought I was doing something nice by offering to pay for these clothing rails, but obviously she just didn't want me to buy brand new. So I thought, right, is there anything else that you guys need donating, or is there any way I could get involved in fundraising or anything like that? And I was basically just shot down every time. Shot down every single time I messaged. But I do want to get involved with them because I know how much that they are severely underfunded. I know that they don't have a lot of budget and things like that. So what I did is I went round Jake's old toys, all the toys that he had from being a baby that he no longer plays with, and I took up 2 huge bin bags. Now, just after I took up those 2 huge bin bags, I saw on that app that they were now asking if anyone could volunteer their time for 2 hours for a Halloween school fair. And I thought to myself, right, I'm going to check my diary about that. I'll have a look at the dates and the times, see if I'm available, just make sure that I haven't got any other commitments, and I'll probably more than likely do that. That slipped my mind until this morning. So when I went to drop Jake off, I went up to reception and I just said, oh hi, I saw that message from last week or the week before asking about volunteers. Have you got any volunteers, or are they still needed? Honestly, the receptionist nearly started crying. She said that I was the only volunteer so far. Now, they sent this message out 2 weeks ago. This receptionist, honestly, she was so grateful, so thankful, started calling in the office manager from around her office. They were both jumping up and down, clapping their hands, saying about how grateful and appreciative they are for me giving my time. And I thought, I'm literally giving you 2 hours to help set up some stalls. And then Mam the stall selling little fairy cakes or something along the lines. And I thought, how have I made two people that happy just from giving two hours of my time? That's what we can do. That is the wealth that money can't buy, okay? So just give. Like I say, it's not always about money. It's about kindness. It's about energy. It's about time. It can mean something to someone. Truly give that some thought over the next few days, okay? Think about how you can bring more heart, care, or creativity into what you already do. Or if there's anyone around you that needs help or support, like, how can you give them some heart?

Advertise. The next habit in the book is all about money. So it's all about redefining prosperity and freedom. Now this is the big one because this is the one topic that makes people either light up or squirm in the seat. Now Robin lists money as one of the 8 forms of wealth. Now I love that he doesn't make it the main one because money is important, of course it is, don't get us wrong, but it's not the whole picture. It's not evil, it's not magical, it is neutral. It's just energy. It simply amplifies whatever energy you bring to it. So if you're generous, it makes you more generous. If you're stressed, it magnifies that stress. Money itself doesn't create freedom. How you relate to it does. So many people have this thought, and I was once there as well, like, once I make X amount, then I'll feel secure. But that mindset is what is keeping security out of reach because you're chasing it instead of embodying it. Financial wealth is a mirror for your sense of self-worth. If you believe you're worthy of abundance, you naturally make clearer financial choices. You stop undercharging, you stop overspending to fill emotional gaps, you stop apologising for wanting more. Now going back to when I first started Canny Crystals, I had so many weird beliefs around money. I thought that if I earned more, more people would judge us, or that spirituality and success couldn't coexist, like you couldn't be both grounded and drive a nice car. But I remember realizing something quite big, which is that money doesn't change who you are, it reveals who you are. So if you use it with intention, it becomes a force for good. You can donate, you can hire, you can invest, you can expand your impact, you can pour it back into your purpose. That is wealth in motion. Money is literally one of the clearest mirrors for your energetic alignment. If it's not flowing, there's usually an emotional block somewhere. It might be a fear of judgment, it could be guilt, shame, scarcity, maybe even the belief that you don't deserve ease in your life. And when you heal those stories, the flow starts again, because the universe doesn't withhold money, it just matches your readiness to receive it. So try this: every single time that you spend money, Instead of saying, "Oh my God, there it goes again, my bank balance is back down to zero," start saying, "I'm circulating abundance," because you're not losing money, you're sending it out into the world knowing that it'll circle back multiplied. That tiny little reframe keeps your energy open instead of contracted, because money isn't the enemy. It's one of the tools the universe uses to support your growth, your dreams, and your generosity as well. So let's stop being scared of it. Stop chasing it desperately and instead build a relationship with it rooted in trust, gratitude, and purpose, because that's the real prosperity—when money becomes a reflection of the peace that you already feel inside. All right, next up is one of my favorites, which is the habit of community. Because honestly, if you ever want to know what your vibration really is, I want you to look at who you spend the most time with. Now, Robin, the author, he says that your environment shapes your evolution, and I find this so true because You can't stay high vibe if you're constantly surrounded by people who drain you faster than your iPhone battery. Community wealth isn't just about having loads of friends or being kind of like that social butterfly. It's about being intentional with your circle. So it's choosing the people who inspire, uplift, and basically challenge you to grow, rather than keeping you playing small because it makes them comfortable. You've probably heard that quote, haven't you, that you're the average of the 5 people that you spend the most time with? Well, that's energetic maths, because all of their beliefs, their habits, their frequencies, they rub off on you whether you notice it or not. So if you're trying to manifest big things but you're constantly surrounded by negativity or gossip or lack mentality, it's like trying to meditate at a rock concert. It's impossible. When I started really working on me mindset, I noticed that some of me friends just didn't vibe with it, you know, and I used to try and convince them all the time and I'd get all defensive like, like, no, honestly, it really works. But then I realized that my job isn't to convince anyone. My job is to just embody it. And as I did, new people started showing up, the kind of people who actually get it, who cheer me on, who see my light instead of my limits. That's when I understood the universe always replaces what you outgrow. Because we've all had that friend, haven't we, who brings the drama everywhere they go. If you can't think of who that is in your circle, I've probably got some bad news for you— it's probably you. But this is the good bit: community wealth isn't about cutting people off left, right, and center. It's about creating energetic boundaries. You can still love people without letting their chaos set up camp in your aura, okay? Because community plays a huge role in manifestation. The energy you're surrounded by, it either amplifies your intention or it suffocates it. So I want you to surround yourself with expanders, people who are already living what you want or who believe that it's possible for you. That's how you stretch your subconscious comfort zone. You can't rise if everyone around you is addicted to staying the same. Now, the way that I found these people that I hang around with like that, and my business friends, are through going to business conferences, events like Manifest, for example. Little shameless plug there, but that is a great way to meet your tribe. So I really want you to think about who are the 5 people that you interact with the most? And how do you feel after spending time with them? Because like I say, community is wealth because it's a mirror. When you're around people who see your magic, you start seeing it as well. And when you pour into others, when you share kindness or uplift people, maybe you celebrate their wins, the universe reflects that energy right back. So I want you to curate your circle with love and intention because you deserve to be surrounded by people who remind you who you are not who you were. Now, the 7th habit in the book is all about adventure, and I'll be honest, like, this one kind of surprised me because most of us say we want adventure, but what we actually want is kind of controlled excitement with minimal discomfort, guaranteed Wi-Fi. But in the book, Robin talks about how adventure is a vital form of wealth, and he's right because it's the spark that keeps life alive. So if for you it might be curiosity, or courage, or the willingness to step into the unknown even when your inner control freak is screaming, "Oh my God, what if this all goes wrong?" Adventure doesn't mean traveling to Bali. It doesn't mean jumping out of planes. What I mean by adventure is how it's a mindset. It's basically an openness to experience life beyond your routine. So when you invite adventure in, you start to awaken creativity, presence, and your trust in the universe. You start to see magic again. You say yes to opportunities that your logical mind would have talked you out of, and spiritually that's quite massive because the universe thrives on movement. When you stop chasing certainty and you start embracing possibility, your manifestations start to have room to land. I don't even mind sharing this, but I used to be such a creature of habit. Like, I would always be happy if I had routine, control, predictability. You know, I like knowing what was coming next. I liked knowing when it was coming and who was coming with us, but honestly nothing expansive ever happened in those comfort zones. Now the biggest breakthroughs that I've had, whether it be in business, in spirituality, in life, they've all come from me saying yes to things that scared us. The podcast, the academy, even Manifest, none of that came from a neat little plan, it just came from me following excitement even when it looked uncertain. So adventure is where true magic lives. And it teaches us trust as well, and trust is everything in manifestation. When you step into something new, you're saying, "I believe that the universe will support me." You're proving your faith through action. So every time you take a leap, no matter how small, the universe then expands to meet you, because abundance doesn't reward comfort, it rewards courage. Now, I'm not saying that you need to sell all your possessions and go and live in a yurt. Sometimes adventure is just taking a different route home. Home, talking to someone new. It might even be signing up for a class that you've been eyeing up but overthinking for the last 6 months. Adventure is just kind of saying "why not" instead of "what if." And honestly, life is too short to keep living the same week over and over until you call it a year. So I want you to think about where have you become too comfortable or predictable in your life, and then just think about what is one small adventure that you could say yes to this month. And like I say, adventure isn't just something you do, it's something you become. It's choosing to live life with curiosity, openness, and that sense of wonder as well, to see life as an unfolding journey rather than a checklist. Now, the last habit that Robin talks about in the book is service. So this is the wealth of giving back. And I know I've just told that story there about the nursery and how I'm going to volunteer and stuff like that. But this is going to expand this a little bit. Because before you roll your eyes and picture yourself having to join a monastery or give away all your belongings, donate anything, just calm yourself. That's not what this is about, okay? Robin calls this the highest form of wealth, and I totally get why, because the energy of service, it's pure abundance. When you help other people or uplift other people or simply make someone's day a bit lighter, you're aligning with the frequency of love. And love is the richest currency there is. Now, service isn't about self-sacrifice, it's about self-expansion. So it's not kind of the energy of, "I'll give until I'm empty." It's, "I'm overflowing, let me share some of that overflow." So you can be of service in countless ways. You can smile at a stranger. You can send an encouraging message to someone. You can offer your skills to someone who really needs them. You can use your success to help other people grow. So it's about living from the mindset of contribution rather than comparison. And funnily enough, the more that you give from the right energy, not from like guilt or obligation, but from love, the more the universe gives back to you. And I'll tell you what, the times that I have felt most abundant in life, they've not been when I've hit sales targets or when I've smashed a launch. It's been when someone has messaged me saying, "That episode of the podcast changed how I see myself," or, "That crystal that you recommended us a couple of weeks ago, it's really helped me get through something." Now, those are the moments that remind me why I do what I do, because service gives meaning to success. Without it, even the biggest wins will feel hollow. And I'm not saying that you've got to go out there and start saving the world single-handedly. You don't need to open an orphanage in Peru or go to Africa and build a well with your bare hands. Sometimes the kindest thing that you can do is just hold space for someone who's having a rough day, or maybe pay for the next person's coffee in the queue behind you. Tiny things, but a big ripple. And you know me, I'll always say it how it is: if you've got time to complain, you've got time to contribute. I'm going to say that again for the people at the back: if you have got time to complain, you have got time to contribute. Service is actually one of the fastest ways to raise your vibration. When you focus on helping other people, you shift your energy from, "What can I get?" to, "What can I give?" And that puts you straight into abundance mode because you can't be in scarcity and generosity at the same time. The two vibrations, they can't coexist. It's like saying that you are hyper and happy and ecstatic but depressed at the same time. It's two opposite polar ends of the scale. So when you give freely, you're telling the universe, "I trust there's more where that came from," and that's when the magic happens. So I want you to think about, like, how can you use your gifts or your resources to help other people this week? What can you do to feel most fulfilled? Whether it be receiving, when you give to people, what legacy of love or kindness do you want to leave behind? And I know right now we're like 38 minutes into this podcast, and it's gone on a lot longer than I intentionally, like, wanted it to. But I feel like everything I've talked about has been so, so pertinent. So we've got the 8 forms of wealth: growth, wellness, family, craft, money, community, adventure, and service. When you start seeing wealth in all of these ways, you realize how incredibly abundant you already are. And what happens when we're incredibly grateful for the abundance that we already have? Bingo! The universe gives us more to be grateful for. You might not have a million quid in the bank, but you might have health, love, laughter, freedom, purpose. That is real wealth. That's the kind that money can't buy. So, you know what? If there's one thing this whole conversation has reminded me of, it's that real abundance isn't about chasing more. It's about noticing more. The more you slow down and the more you realize how rich your life already is, whether it be in moments, lessons, laughter, love. That is where true wealth hides, and I think we all forget that sometimes. We get so busy trying to manifest the next best thing that we overlook the miracles that we've already created. Might be healed moments, it might be people who love us, it could even be the resilience that we've built. So maybe your takeaway from today isn't to add another goal to your list. Maybe it's just to look around and say, 'Wow, I'm actually doing all right here. I'm actually killing it.' Because when you anchor into gratitude and growth like that, you naturally start attracting more of the good stuff anyway. So go out, live your richest life—not the one that the world tells you to chase, but the one that feels most impactful, peaceful, exciting, and yours. And if this episode landed for you, you know what to do—share it with someone who might need that reminder as well, because the ripple effect what's there. And as you go about the rest of your week, just ask yourself not, "How can I get more?" but, "How can I live richer in love, in presence, in joy, and in contribution?" Because when you focus on those forms of wealth first, the money, the success, the opportunities will all follow. Okay, so I hope that you enjoyed this episode. If you did, please rate, review, subscribe. I really would appreciate that. And I will see you all next Friday for another episode. Speak soon, guys. Bye!
