My name is Mart Tweedy, I am your host, and I just wanted to start this episode by saying thank you, thank you, thank you to every single person, every single person that listened to last week's episode, that sent me a direct message, that sent me an email, that sent me a comment on my reels, whatever it is, however you got in contact to say that you've been listening, you too were suffering from burnout and exhaustion. I appreciate that so much. And it's really, it's really bittersweet for me, right? Because obviously I was going through this, I felt like I was the only one going through it, and it was awful to deal with, but at the same time it was so nice to connect with so many of you over the last 7 days and to hear stories from your own businesses or your own personal life even. And it just made me feel like I wasn't alone. So it's bittersweet because obviously I would hate for anyone else to have to go through what I've been going through in the last few weeks, that tough mental battle. But at the same time, it was so nice to hear that I wasn't alone. So thank you, I really do appreciate all the kind feedback from last week's episode. And if you haven't listened already, go back and give it a listen. It was basically me just being raw, just being honest and open about exactly where I am in life. So obviously last week, as part of that, I said that I was going to be doing a few spiritual practices. So on Wednesday night this week, I went to St. James's Park to do this thing called Phoenix Fire breathwork. I'd never heard of it before, right? But one of my members said that she went to one of them in Amsterdam and it was absolutely incredible. And as soon as she had mentioned that, it popped up on my Instagram. Now, I know we always talk about like Instagram and Facebook kind of listening in to conversations that we're having, but I'd had this conversation on my Mac. Maybe it was just tied in with my cookies or my cache or whatever it is, I'm not that technically minded. But these adverts started popping up for me left, right, and center. And so I sent one to my best friend Nikki, and I just said, "Do you want to come to this with us?" Straight away she said yes. So off we went. We got there last night and the first thing, we were greeted by this man who just immediately wrapped his arms around us and gave us a hug. And I was like, okay, a bit odd. I felt a bit awkward and a bit uncomfortable, but he was like, get used to it, there's plenty of this coming up tonight. And I was like, oh my God, what have I signed myself up to? So we got in, we put our yoga mats down, we got our little headsets where you put them like, just like headphones basically. And whatever the speaker at the front of the room was saying on the microphone, it was coming out over the top of music through our headphones. And at first I did think, why doesn't he just have a little speaker at the front? Why do we have to wear individual headphones? But as the night progressed, I kind of guessed why, because people were having little experiences, shall we say, and releasing traumas and releasing things. They were screaming, they were crying, it was a lot. Okay, so to start it off with, we had to go around the room and go up to a random person hold hands with them, look deep into their eyes, and breathe with them. And at first this was really uncomfortable, and I mean really fucking uncomfortable. I found it uncomfortable doing it with my best friend Nikki. Now I've known Nikki since we were 13 years old. I'm now 39, right? So I've known Nikki for 26 years, and I still felt uncomfortable doing this with her. It was so awkward, I want to say, right? But enjoyable at the same time. And we were pulling funny faces at each other and making each other laugh. And then we had to move on to another person, and I met this lovely girl. Um, I can't remember her name. I don't even think she told us her name, actually. But we got talking, and I ended up trying to sell her a ticket to come to Manifest because she's really interested in manifestation and mindset, and she's going to tell all of her friends about Manifest. But I got partnered with her, and it was really, it was really nice, and it was a really gentle practice. It was box breathing. So, you know, in for the count of 4, hold for the count of 4, out for the count of 4, and then hold for the count of 4 again. But as you did this, you had to hold hands with them and move your hands up in a square shape, like around a box. And we did that, and then we had to move on to another person. Then we had to lie down on the floor and give each other chin massages and jaw massages. Then we had to massage the part of your stomach under the ribs where the diaphragm is. Then we had to massage each other's belly buttons. This sounds— I'm not even joking, right? This, like, me just recording this sounds absolutely ridiculous, but it was so intense. Then we had to massage down people's thighs, shake their legs side to side, wake their body up by like slapping the legs and stuff. It was very, very surreal. But eventually we got to the part where we had to lie down. They turned the lights off, we had face masks on. And we did something called conscious breathwork, which I'd never heard of before, I'd never done before. But it's basically taking a deep in-breath through the mouth and filling up your belly before you fill up your chest. Because obviously our lungs are in our chest, so they tend to be the part of our body that naturally rises first. But the way he described it is that we want to oversaturate our lungs with oxygen, and what that does is it can circulate the blood, it can regulate your nervous system, but it can also make people have out-of-body experiences have like, um, what's it called, hallucinogenic effects kind of thing, you know, where they have like a psychedelic experience. And I was like, okay, I'm all for this, I'm ready to release what needs to be released. And so I was doing it all as I was supposed to be, in through the belly, up through the chest, making sure that my back was expanding as well. And then it just started to get really intense because the breathing got faster and faster. So it was like in, belly, chest, out. In, belly, chest, out. And it was like at that speed. So that was like a really deep breath out, a really deep breath out. And I was like, oh my God, I feel like I'm gonna pass out. And I started to get this buzzing sensation, and this buzzing sensation came at first at the soles of me feet. It then traveled up my ankle. It went up one side of my leg first, then the other leg joined it. It was playing around in my hips, and then it felt like it moved up my entire torso until it got to the base of my neck, like where your shoulder is, your clavicle. And then it spread down both my arms and it shot into my head. As soon as it shot into my head, I was made very aware that I was actually lying in a pool of sweat. I was dripping by this point. We did this for an hour. Now, in that hour, I couldn't get comfortable. I was throwing myself around. I felt like my body was being re-energized, all just from the breath. It was fascinating, absolutely fascinating how it did. And then about, I'm going to say about halfway through this hour, the girl next to me must have sobbed for the next half hour. And when I say sobbed, she was literally like, "Oh, oh, oh," screaming, absolutely screaming. She was in hysterics, and I could kind of hear the one of the guys that run the course, I could kind of hear him next to her going, "Come on, it's okay." And he must have been like rubbing her back or something. And every now and again they would come around, they would put their hands on your chest, they would put their hands on your legs just to try and keep you awake and keep you grounded. Because obviously if you lay down and it's pitch black and you're just listening to music, for me it was just like listening to a subliminal. So I feel like I wanted to just go to sleep. And so when it came to the end, we all had to collectively take our masks off when the time felt right, you know, just like coming out of a meditation. We then all stood up in a circle, we then all held hands, and we closed our eyes again, and we just felt the energy of the room. Now, I could feel it buzzing through my hands on the left and the right. Then we were told to take our right hand and put it on the person's back on our right. So I had this woman on my left with her hand on my back, and my hand was on the woman to my right's back. And we had to think of someone that we loved and send them healing. Now, my mum, as this episode goes out today, Friday the 17th of April, my mum is actually going through a little bit of an operation on her face. She had a spot that, um, basically turned into this cyst. This cyst kind of burst. Every day it bleeds 4 or 5 times a day. She went to the doctors, it's actually skin cancer. So she is having a skin cancer removal tomorrow. It's gone so deep into her face, she's probably going to need a skin graft. So immediately I started thinking of my mom. I started thinking of her cancer, making sure that she could easily get rid of that, and it's going to take one operation, she's going to be fully healed from it, she's going to bounce back from it. And I started crying, and I was just sobbing, literally sobbing, while I've got hold of this one woman's hand on one side and you know, I've got my hand on this other woman's back, and I just feel like the vibration and the energy in that room was incredible. If anyone gets the opportunity to go, please do. It's called Phoenix Fire Breathwork. They travel the UK all the time. It was only like 3 or 4 people, and the main guy, James McCauley, he was absolutely phenomenal. Great as a coach, great as a workshop facilitator. There was about 200 to 250 people there, I would guess. It was, you It was just such a great experience. I absolutely loved it. And I got home and I just felt on such a high. And then even this morning I woke up and I thought, I've just got this lust for life back again. I felt re-energized, revitalized, like I'm ready to attack life again, basically. So yeah, I'm in a really good headspace. I'm starting to look after myself. I'm giving myself a Wednesday and a Sunday off work just so that I can spend time with my little boy because he doesn't go to nursery on a Wednesday. And, um, yeah, just to give myself the Sunday off more than anything else so that I can actually go and see family, go and see friends, do something with my little boy, you know, just to give myself some time off. And I've delegated a lot of my workload to Julie and her husband Mark, who are helping me out in my business a lot at the moment. Really appreciative for them and their admin team. They are taking the inbox, they are taking, packing the orders, basically taking everything Canny Crystal related office-wise, if that makes sense. I'm still going to be doing all the social media, sourcing the crystals, you know, the newsletters, the marketing, and everything like that.
That.
They're just going to do all the background admin, and I just feel like my life has changed so much in the space of 7 days. So yeah, in a roundabout way, that's me in 10 minutes saying thank you for listening to last week's episode. Thank you for all your love and support. I've had so many offers this last week of Feng Shui consultations, of business coaching consultations. People are just wanting to be helpful, and people have wanted to give something back to me because they've seen the value that I've given to them, and for that I am so, so grateful. I've even had members in my Academy send me things like journals, candles, self-care packs. I'm just so bewildered by all of this because I didn't expect any of the outpour of love. But honestly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you, thank you. Honestly, thank you so much. So earlier this week, I was a bit unsure about what I was going to do this week's episode on, and some of the easiest episodes for me record is when I just give real life advice. And so on Saturday or Sunday evening last weekend, I put out a little story and I just said, what do you most need help with? That's literally all it said. And then there was a little box underneath that people could respond to. We had 220 responses, okay. So as usual with Q&As and stuff like that, the majority of them were to do with wealth. They were to do with wealth, and I'll come to that at the very end once I've answered all the other questions. But there was some really, really good questions that I picked out. Okay, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to go from the top, and the first one is from @athomewiththedawsons, and they said, I need help with money, how to deal with rising costs and not saying, oh my God, £4.60 for a Vimto. First of all, who pays £4.60 for a Vimto? Isn't Vimto just a can of juice? Isn't it like just a can of pop? You don't pay £4.60 for Vimto, do you? But anyway, it's such a good question because I think it's where mindset meets real life. I think it's easy to talk about abundance when everything feels comfortable for you in your life, but I think when prices are creeping up as they have been doing, especially here in the UK, and your brain goes, "Oh my God, you're kidding me, £4.60?" That's when your relationship with money starts to really show itself. And just to be clear, I think that noticing the price isn't the problem. You're not meant to walk around oblivious. I'm not asking you to go blindly spending, pretending everything's fine. You know that meme of that person where they sat with a cup of tea and everything's on fire behind them and they're like, this is fine? No, we're not doing that. The issue is what happens next, because most people don't just notice that price increase, they attach meaning to it. So what I mean by that is that they'll go from, oh my God, £4.60 for a Vimto, to, oh my God, everything's getting expensive. Then all of a sudden they'll flutter to, 'Oh my God, I'm going to struggle,' and then that'll turn into, 'I can't afford things like I used to.' And that right there is where you start unconsciously training your brain into scarcity. So what you're doing in that moment is you're rehearsing a future that you don't actually want. So the shift isn't about ignoring the reality, it's just about choosing your response to it. So you can still clock the price and you can think, 'Oh my God, mad how prices are going up lately, but it's a good job that I'm always finding ways to increase my income.' Can you see what I mean? It's the same situation but a completely different internal story. One of them keeps you stuck, but the other one keeps you moving. And I'll be honest, this is something that I've had to really work on myself over the last few years because I used to be really reactive with money. If something unexpected came out of my bank, my whole energy would shift. I'd get a tight chest, I'd be overthinking, I'd start spiraling and try to control everything. But what R. Sharpe realized is that that contraction blocks creativity. So when you're in that, "Oh my God, everything's expensive," energy, you won't see opportunities. You're not going to take action. You won't think expansively. Instead, you're just going to tighten up and you're just going to try to hold on to what you've already got. Whereas abundance isn't about pretending that things are cheap. It's about backing yourself to always find a way. So that might look like earning more, or creating something new, or spotting an opportunity, or asking your boss for a raise, or starting something on the side. Because as I'm sure that you're aware, like, your financial situation isn't going to change by focusing on the price of a drink. It changes by expanding your capacity to receive more. And this is where I always bring it back to identity. Like, are you someone who is at the mercy of rising costs, or are you someone who adapts, expands, and figures out things no matter what? Because the second version of you still exists in the same economy, they just move a little bit differently within it. So a really simple practice that I use, and I've taught this inside my Manifesting Money Masterclass, is catching those micro moments and flipping them. So every time your brain goes, "Oh my God, that's expensive," you can just gently upgrade it to, "And I'm expanding my income." That's all you have to add on the end. "And I'm expanding my income." 5 little words. Now, I don't want you to do this in a fake way. I just want you to see it as a reminder of where your power actually sits, because the danger isn't the £4.60 Vimto or whatever it is that you're trying to afford. It's the story that you attach and repeat after it. And if you keep repeating that same story, you're going to get the same result, aren't you? You know, so next time it happens, just notice it, smile at it, and just remind yourself that you're not there to shrink your life to match rising costs. You're there to expand your income to match the life that you want, and that is a completely different way to play the game and to flip that entire scenario on its head. Okay, so I hope that that helped you there. My second question is from— let me have a look— Jocelyn Park, and Jocelyn says, how do I maintain high vibes when having high anxiety around my child? Can I visualize for them? Okay, so this one's going to hit a bit deeper because when it's about your child, I don't think it's just about mindset, is it? It's about instinct, love, protection, all those kind of things. So first things first, if you feel anxious around your child, that doesn't mean that you're doing anything wrong. It just means that you care a lot. Okay, I do this all the time. I feel really anxious. It's like nobody's actually written a book— well, they probably have by now. I was gonna say no one's actually written a rule book on parenthood, but of course they have. Um, but what tends to happen is that love can quietly turn into fear if it's left unchecked, because your brain starts trying to prepare you for anything that could go wrong. And before you know it, you're running scenarios in your head that haven't yet happened, and they probably might never happen, but your body is reacting like they already have. Now, that's where the work is— not in getting rid of the love or the concern, but in gently just shifting the direction of your focus. Because your energy matters, and kids pick up on your energy more than we realize. Can you remember in last week's episode I talked about exactly this? When Jake was drawn on the couch and I shouted at him, he picked up on my energy straight away. Okay, so basically you want to give off this aura of calm because when you're calm, it's going to become their calm. And now in terms of the visualizing part of the question, of course you can absolutely visualize for them, but what I would do is I would tweak how you think about it slightly, because you're not trying to control their life or force any outcomes for them. You're just holding a vision of safety, happiness, confidence, health, whatever it is, and you're allowing yourself to feel that as if it's already true. So think of it like setting an energetic tone rather than rewriting their story for them. So instead of visualizing from fear, like, please don't let anything bad happen to them, you just shift it to I see my child happy, safe, thriving, uh, laughing, growing into exactly what they're meant to be. And then the key part of this is to let your body feel what that version of reality actually feels like, because that feeling is what settles your nervous system. And this is the part that people often skip. They try and think positive while still feeling anxious underneath. Now, for me personally, and probably many people out there, that's just going to be exhausting, isn't it? What actually helps is regulating your body first. So sometimes that might look like slowing your breathing right down, or putting your hand on your chest and just feeling your heartbeat, or grounding yourself in the present moment by going outside barefoot. Because anxiety is always future-based, it's always our minds going to a scenario in the future that probably will never happen. So it's your mind trying to control what hasn't yet happened. But in reality, your child is here right now and they are safe in this moment. And when you bring yourself back to that thought, everything will soften for you a bit. Now, I've seen this a lot inside of my, um, meditation and mindfulness course on the Academy. When people learn how to regulate their nervous system properly, their thoughts stop running away with them. So they'll feel more present, more in control, and more able to actually enjoy their life rather than constantly scanning for problems, issues, or threats. And that's what you deserve as a parent, not just to protect your child but to actually experience them. So all the laughs and the little moments and the chaos, like all of it. So yes, by all means, I would say, um, Jocelyn, visualize for them but also come back to you, because the more grounded and safe that you feel within yourself, the less power those anxious thoughts are going to have over you. So I hope that that answered your question. I hope that you got what you needed from that answer. Thank you so much for submitting your question. Next on, we have got Glow with Lindsay who has asked, how do I know what to manifest when I'm happy with my life? Right, so this is one of those questions that, you know, it's actually a really beautiful place to be in because most people come to manifestation from a place of scarcity or lack, like something's missing or I need to fix this, that kind of mentality. But what you're describing is the opposite. You're not chasing, you're quite content with your life right now. And there's a part of your brain that's probably going, well, what now then? What do I want in my life? But you don't always need to be manifesting something, okay? You're allowed to just be in your life. There's no rule that says that you have to constantly be reaching for more or striving for more or upgrading something or setting the next big goal. Like, that constant striving energy can actually pull you out of the very happiness that you've created.. So the first thing that I would say is don't rush to fill the space just because it's quiet, because that calm, grounded feeling, that's the goal that most people are trying to actually manifest in the first place. But, and this is where it gets interesting, by the way, but when you are genuinely happy, you're actually in the best state to manifest from, okay? Because there's no desperation, there's no pressure, there's no 'I need X, Y, and Z to feel okay in my life.' So instead of asking, "What do I need to manifest?" try shifting it to, "What feels exciting to experience next?" Not what's missing, what's calling you forward. And it doesn't have to be big, doesn't have to be anything life-altering even. It could just be more fun, more ease, new experiences, deeper connections with people, feeling more present than you already do right now. Or it could just be like travel, creativity, expansion in your personal life or your business, or even just like, I want more moments where I think this is unreal. Manifestation at this stage becomes less about fixing your life and more about playing with it instead. And I think this is where most people get stuck because they've been taught that manifestation is a problem solver, not as an expansion tool. So you're not trying to escape your current reality. You're just enhancing it. So another way to look at this is through identity-led manifestation. So instead of focusing on things, you focus on who you're becoming instead. So you might not need to manifest money because you're already comfortable, but maybe you feel called to become someone who expresses themselves more or steps into more visibility or someone who leads other people. Or someone who leaves a legacy behind. Now that's a completely different level of manifestation, and if I'm honest, it's where the real fulfillment is going to come from in your life. Because when you just say, "Oh, I want more stuff," just for the sake of it, that's got a ceiling, hasn't it? It's got an energetic ceiling. But growth and contribution and impact, that's endless. And this is something that I drill into my members all the time because we're always looking at expansion identity and what life gets to feel like when you're not constantly chasing. So what I would say to you is, if you're happy right now, don't override that. Just let yourself enjoy it. And then from that place, you could even just gently ask yourself, if nothing needed fixing, what would I love to experience more of? Because I think personally, like, that answer always leads me somewhere meaningful. So give that a bash. Let me know how you get on. Thank you so much for your question. Next on, we have got Glow with Lindsay again, and she has said, if you could choose only one manifestation practice that you can do for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Oh, I think if I had to strip it all back and just choose one— oh, what would it be? Right, it wouldn't be visualization. Oh, this is hard. It wouldn't be affirmations. It wouldn't be journaling. I think it would just be awareness of my thoughts and having awareness of my thoughts. Now, that might sound quite basic because every single manifestation practice that you've ever heard of is really just trying to do one thing. It's influencing the way that you think and feel on a consistent basis. Like, if we think about it, affirmations, they're just repeated thoughts. Visualization is imagined thoughts. Journaling is processed thoughts because we're just getting it out on paper. So if you can go straight to the source and go straight to thoughts, you don't actually need the tools in the same way. And I think that's where it gets quite powerful, but also very real, because it means catching yourself in the moment when your mind goes somewhere unhelpful. So most people aren't consciously choosing their own thoughts. They're just reacting to whatever pops in and then living life as if that thought is fact. And that's how you end up spiraling from something small into something massive. So like I was saying earlier, you see a price, you think everything's getting expensive, then suddenly you're in a full-blown scarcity mindset without even realizing how you got there in the first place. But having awareness— awareness interrupts that pattern. It gives you a gap between the thought and the reaction. And in that gap, that's where your power lies. Because once you notice the thought, you get to choose whether you run with it or you gently redirect it. So we're not forcing it, we're not fighting it, we're just guiding it. We're just guiding it to one side. Something as simple as saying, um, that's interesting, my brain's gone there, but I don't need to follow that. That's literally all you need to say. Interesting, my brain's thought about that, but I'm not going to follow that. That one moment can completely change your state, your actions, and over time, your results as well. And the reason I'd choose this over everything else is because it's always available to you. You don't need to carry around a crystal. You don't need to carry around a journal. You don't need time set aside. You don't need to find a quiet space. You don't need to remember to do a practice like EFT. You're thinking all day, every day anyway, so it becomes the practice. And what's interesting is when you get good at this, all the other tools naturally become more effective. So your affirmations will land deeper and your visualizations will feel more real because you're not just going through the motions, you're actually aware of what's going on internally as well. So if I had one practice for life, it's that. It's just noticing, pausing, and choosing a different route. And it sounds really simple, but when done consistently, it's going to change everything for you. Okay, so I hope that that helped answer your question. Um, next up I have @clairef142 who has said bullying at work. That's literally all it says, so she hasn't given me any kind of context, so I'm just going to go with this as generalized bullying at work. And I think this is one of those situations where mindset alone isn't the answer because you're not imagining it. You're not here to just raise your vibration and tolerate being treated like shit. Bullying at work needs handling on two levels at the same time. There's the external reality of what's actually happening, but then there's also your internal state and how it's affecting you. Now, both of these matter, so I'm going to start with the external because this is where people often shrink themselves. Because for me personally, in the past when I've had bullying at work, it's been quite subtle. Like, it's not always been shouting or obvious conflict. Sometimes for me it's been constant undermining of my work, or passive comments, or being excluded from staff nights out or lunch breaks, or being made to feel small while I'm sat there at my desk, or being questioned unfairly when everyone else is doing the exact same thing, or like I was always on edge around a certain person. So if you're feeling that consistently as well, Claire, just trust that feeling, okay? You're not being too sensitive, because I was told I was too sensitive over and over again. I wasn't. It was actual bullying. Looking back at it now, it was a fucking toxic, um, workplace. I will never go back there. It was in the NHS as well, which was one of the worst places I've ever bloody worked in my life. You are picking up on something that doesn't feel right, okay? I want you to trust that feeling. This is where your boundaries come in. It's not aggressive, it's not confrontational for the sake of it. It's just clear boundaries, and sometimes it's just as simple as calmly calling something out in the moment. You could just say something like, "Hang on, I'm not quite sure what you meant by that," or "I'd appreciate being spoken to a bit more respectfully." Doesn't need to be anything like that's going to turn into a shouting match or anything like that. Even those small shifts can change the dynamic because bullies often rely on people staying quiet. But I'll be honest with you, like, I'm not the kind of person to stay quiet. I've never stayed quiet. I've always opened my mouth, but I didn't know how to handle those situations because I'm talking like, what, 10, 15 years ago now. And not every situation is fixable just by handling it better. I think some environments are just not healthy, full stop. No amount of mindset work is going to turn a toxic workplace into a supportive one. I'm sorry to tell you that. So part of this is also just asking yourself 'Is this somewhere that I actually want to stay?' Like, not from a panicky place, but from a place of self-respect. Now, one of my members, Louise, she's from Australia. She works in pathology for their health service over in Australia. It's not the NHS, but you know what I mean. And her environment is so toxic. She talks about this in our WhatsApp groups and on our members chat and our members forum all the time. And she mentions about how toxic it is. She'll walk in on a morning, everyone will turn blank to her. Not one single person will say hi to her or anything like that. She's got until the end of June to stick that job out before she can basically take redundancy and leave, but it is absolutely exhausting her and it is draining her, and I feel so, so sorry for her. But no amount of mindset work is going to turn that toxic workplace into a supportive one. She can visualize, she can manifest all she wants, but it's not going to turn that around, is it? So part of this is also asking yourself 'Is this somewhere that I actually want to stay?' Because you deserve to feel safe and respected and valued in the place that you spend most of your time. Now, alongside that, there's your internal world as well, because even when something external is happening, the danger is that it starts to chip away at how you see yourself. So what I mean by that is you might start second-guessing yourself, or you might start overthinking every single thing that you say. Or even questioning your worth. I used to do that all the time. Like, my self-worth was at an all-time low when I worked in the NHS because, because of all the situations that I was put in while I was there. But that's where you can bring your power back. You can remind yourself, this is their behavior, it's not my identity, it's their behavior. And grounding yourself in what you know to be true about you, not what someone else is projecting onto you. I think that's a really good tip as well. Like, this is where tools like journaling and thought awareness and nervous system regulation really do help, because they're not helping you to tolerate the situation, but they're helping you to stop it from consuming you. Because it can be all-consuming, and it can be when you're, you know, you see your colleagues probably more than you see your family most days. I've seen people lose themselves in situations like this, and the real work is making sure that that doesn't happen to you as well. So if anything, it becomes a moment where you solidify your standards. You can ask yourself, "What do I accept? How do I expect to be treated? What kind of environment do I actually thrive in?" And then you start moving your life in that direction. So whether that be having conversations, escalating things properly through work channels, or even like eventually stepping into something better, you're not stuck, even if it does feel like you're in the midst of it, and you are right now. And you're definitely not powerless, okay? So what I would say is you're not here to shrink yourself to make someone else feel like comfortable, okay? You're not here to tolerate behavior that makes you feel small. There's always another move available to you, even if you haven't seen it yet. So keep your head held high, do that inner work, but just remember you can't affect everyone. I hope that that answered your question. Thank you so much for submitting it. Next question is from— let me see— Melanie Andrews 8619, who has said, "Visualisation and manifestation recommendations when job hunting." Okay, I think personally job hunting can mess with your head a bit. You know what I mean by that? Like, one minute you're feeling hopeful, the next you're refreshing your emails thinking, "Why has no one responded to me?" So this is where manifestation isn't about pretending that you've already got the job while ignoring the reality. It's more about steadying yourself so that you show up at your best and you stay open to the right opportunity showing itself to you. So the biggest shift that I would make personally, if I was to visualize like a new job or something like that, is don't visualize a job, visualize yourself in the right environment. Because like we've just been talking about there, imagine if you had a job and it was in a toxic environment, you'd probably rather be unemployed, wouldn't you? You know, so when people get fixated on one specific role, they unintentionally create themselves pressure. Like it has to be this one or it has to be that one, and if that doesn't land, it feels like failure when actually it might not have been the right fit for you at all. So instead, just zoom out slightly. See yourself waking up knowing exactly where you're going and feeling valued, getting paid well, enjoying your colleagues' company around you, finishing work without that heavy feeling knowing that you have to come back tomorrow. Like, make it real in your mind, whether it be the commute the conversations, even the little things like grabbing a coffee on the way in. Let your brain experience it as being familiar rather than, "Oh my God, this is going to happen one day." And then there's the part that people often miss, which is to feel it without urgency. So you're not visualising to get it faster. You're visualising to become the version of you who naturally walks into that kind of role because that version of you speaks differently in interviews and they carry themselves differently and they make clearer decisions. And that's what actually shifts the outcome for you. Alongside that, I'd bring in a really grounded piece of work around rejection because I think it's part of the process whether we like it or not. So instead of letting it knock your confidence, reframe it as redirection. You know, every no is either it's not the right fit, it's not the right timing, or it's feedback for you to sharpen something. So that mindset is going to keep you moving instead of spiraling. And something else that I love to say all the time is, this or something better. This or something better. I think for me personally, it takes the sting out without dismissing the effort that you've been putting in. And then obviously there's action as well, because this is where manifestation gets misunderstood. You can visualize all day, but you've still got to apply, follow up, network, tweak your CV. Maybe even try different angles that you haven't considered in the past. So think of it as energy setting the direction, but action is creating the opportunity. Both of them matter. Okay, something that I suggest for you to do as well is combine that visualization with the identity work. So instead of just seeing the outcome, ask yourself, how would the version of me who already had this job show up today? And then follow that. But overall, really, when you're manifesting a job, your job is just to keep your energy steady and your actions consistent and your belief in yourself intact. So visualize the feeling of the right role, not the pressure of a specific one, and just keep on moving. Trust that you're not being overlooked, you're just being filtered into something that actually fits. Okay, so I hope that that answered your question. Thank you so much for that. My next question is from Sally_Swiss. Gore7, who says, how do you manifest a work outcome if the other person isn't in manifestation? E.g., we both run our own business and I believe in manifestation, but my husband does not. So I think personally this comes up more than you'd think, especially when you're building something with someone who just sees the world differently. And this could be for a whole host of situations, right? Because obviously I don't work with my partner, but I live with him, and he doesn't believe in manifestation. He just lets me crack on with it. He thinks I'm a crackhead. Not a crackhead as in like drugs and methadone and all that shite. He just thinks I'm a crackpot. Um, the honest answer to your question though, uh, Sally, is that you don't need them to believe in manifestation for it to work, okay? You don't. Manifestation isn't about controlling other people's thoughts or making them get on board. It's just about how you show up and the energy that you bring, or the decisions that you make and the way that you respond to what's happening in your life. So instead of trying to manifest through that other person, you focus on manifesting within yourself and the business as a whole. So two people can be in the exact same business, facing the exact same circumstances, but creating completely different results based on how they think, act, and lead. Now, your belief isn't canceled out by their lack of it. In fact, it can be quite grounding, to be honest, because where you might naturally lean into vision, expansion and possibility, they might be more logical or cautious or numbers-driven. So instead of seeing that as a block, it can actually be a really powerful balance when it's working well. So I would basically say just don't try to convert them, okay, because that's where the friction is going to start. You don't need to sit them down and explain manifestation or get your partner on board visualizing with you. Just let your results do the talking. Focus on things like the way that you speak about the business, or the expectations that you hold, or how you handle challenges, or the ideas that you bring forward, or the consistency in your action. Because energy shows up in behavior, and if you believe that something is going to work, you'll follow through differently. You'll take more aligned action. You'll be more resilient when things start to wobble, and that influences the outcome far more than whether someone uses the word manifestation or not. Okay, so don't try and shut him down, but just stay steady in your own belief without needing that external validation, because really, that's a higher level of manifestation, isn't it? Being able to hold a vision even when not everyone around you sees it yet. So you don't need him to believe. You just need to stay rooted in your vision, take aligned action, and just allow the results to speak for themselves. Because at the end of the day, a successful business isn't built on shared beliefs. It's built on consistent effective behavior, and you've got full control over yours personally. Okay, so I hope that that helped answer your question. Thank you so much, Sally. The next question is from— where is it? Where's it gone? There it is. It's from Michelle and Harry's Adventures. Hi, Michelle. Michelle said, how do you keep believing your manifestations even before you start to see things change? Okay, so this is the middle part of the manifestation. So you've put your thoughts and your intentions out to the universe. And you're in that middle section before receiving. So that's the space where you're doing the work, you want to believe, but your reality hasn't quite caught up yet, and your brain starts going, "Is this actually going to work?" So instead of trying to force blind belief, which never really sticks, does it? I'd shift how you think about belief altogether, because most people treat belief like a switch. They either believe or they don't. But in reality, Belief is something that you build evidence for. So if you're waiting for the big manifestation to land before you believe, you're always going to feel shaky in that middle phase. So what you do instead is you start collecting smaller proof. So I don't mean like fake proof, or you're not forcing anything. You just notice what is shifting. So that might be you've had a new opportunity pop up, or someone mentioning something relevant, or you show up more confidently. Or there's an idea landing that wasn't there before. Now, this is exactly something that we've just done, and I know Michelle, you're in there, um, on Abundance on Tap. One of the first things I get people to do is that every single day they list 3 wins or 3 things to be grateful for, and every day of the challenge they put that in the WhatsApp group or on the Kajabi communities. And basically that is so that people recognize there are opportunities for abundance all around us every single day. So you start to notice what is shifting in your life, and course went on, we started getting people that were manifesting like hundreds of pounds. Then it turned to thousands of pounds. Just the other day, someone put in the WhatsApp group saying that they just manifested £50,000. It's absolutely wild, and it's all because they've been building and collecting evidence from that smaller proof, and it builds up momentum. Okay, so those are all signs of movement, you know, showing up more confidently, an idea landing, Even just the fact that you're thinking differently, they're all signs of movement. They just don't always look like the final result yet, and that's where people trip themselves up because they dismiss the middle bit as, you know, nothing's happening, nothing's happening, Mart, when actually everything's rearranging underneath the surface. Another big piece of this is separating belief from emotion. You're not going to feel confident every single day. Some days you're going to feel solid, other days you're going to doubt everything. That's totally normal. We all go there. Belief isn't always about feeling certain. It's about continuing to move as if it's possible, even when your emotions wobble. Think of it like going to the gym. Like, you don't go once, not see results, and think, "Well, that didn't work." You understand that there's a process. It's all about consistency and repetition. Manifestation works in the exact same way. You're conditioning your mind, your actions, your identity your thoughts, and the results follow on from that. And I'll be honest, one of the most powerful shifts is letting go of the constant need to check if it's working, because that energy of, "Is it here yet? Is it here yet? Is it here yet?" That's lack. It's scarcity mindset. It keeps you focused on what's missing rather than what's building. So instead, just bring it back to something more grounded, like, "Am I showing up in alignment with what I want?" If the answer is yes, congratulations, you're on track, even if you can't see the outcome yet. So just remember, Michelle, you don't need unwavering belief. You just need enough belief to keep on going today, and then you do the same tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that, and the day after that. And before you know it, that consistent quiet belief becomes something solid, not because you forced it, but because you have proved it to yourself along the way. Okay, so I hope that that answered your question. Jules.Turnbull_ and she said, "Should we have crystals in different areas of the house, and do you have a starter pack?" I love this question because it takes crystals out of the nice-to-have category and it turns them into something really intentional in your space, which is exactly what crystals are meant for. You know, we don't just put them on shelves, do we? I mean, I do, but I still cleanse them. Short answer, yes, I do think it's powerful to have crystals in different areas of the house. Not because your house needs fixing or anything like that, but because every single space in your house carries a different energy and purpose. So your bedroom isn't the same energy as your workspace, for example, unless of course you're a porn star. Your living room isn't the same as your front door, is it? Unless of course you've got a front door in your living room, but you see where I'm going from with this. So instead of scattering crystals randomly around your house, you're almost designing the feeling of your home.. Now, I wouldn't overcomplicate this. You don't need 50 crystals in every corner unless your name is Mart Tweedy. A few well-chosen ones placed with intention will always be more powerful than loads that you don't connect with. So if I was creating a really solid house starter pack, this is exactly how I think about it. I would say like, at your front door, this is where we come in, it's where the energy enters your home. I'd always have something protective. So black tourmaline is perfect here. It's like an energetic filter. So anything heavy, stressful, or just a bit off, it gets stopped at the door rather than being carried through the home. Especially if you've got people coming in and out, or deliveries, or you've had a long day yourself, it just helps you reset as you walk in. In the living room, I'd bring in something that keeps the energy light and uplifting. Something like citrine, that would work beautifully for this. It's bright, it's positive, it lifts the mood of the space. This is where you relax, where you spend time with family, maybe watch a bit of TV, have conversations. So you want it to feel easy and open, not heavy. Do you know what I mean? Then your bedroom is another big one. This is where people often get it wrong because you don't want loads of stimulating energy there, do you? This is where you rest, where you switch off and you feel safe. So rose quartz is perfect for that softer, calming, loving energy. It just takes the edge off everything and it helps you feel held rather than wired. And if your mind tends to race at night, this is where you keep it simple and gentle. For your workspace or your office, this is where you can be a bit more intentional with success and focus. So clear quartz, for example, that's a must. It amplifies everything, you know, your focus, your intentions, your clarity. And if you pair that with something like pyrite or green aventurine, you've got that mix of action and opportunity, which is ideal for business and money. And then one that I think that every house should have somewhere central is selenite. This is your energetic reset button. It keeps things clear, calm, and flowing. It's, you know, if the energy in your house ever feels a bit off in your home, selenite just brings everything back to neutral without you having to think too much about it. So that alone is a really solid foundation. And the key thing here isn't just placing them and forgetting about them.
Them.
Obviously, you know what I always say, it's about interacting with them. Even just a moment of intention when you walk past, like you could say an affirmation. You could say, "This space feels calm. This home feels safe. Money flows easily here." That's where they're really going to come to life. So just let your home— let your home support you, you know. Crystals, when used intentionally, they're just another way of reinforcing that energy day to day. So I hope that that helped you. Um, thank you, Julie, for that question, by the way. I've seen a lot of you asking about attracting wealth, money mindset, how to actually start shifting things financially. And although I love these questions because it tells me you're ready to look at it properly, not just wish for it, instead of me trying to like cram a quick answer in here, I want to point you to something that will genuinely help you understand it on a deeper level. So go back and listen to episodes 227, and 228 of the podcast. Because on the podcast, those two episodes are fully focused on money. And it's not just, you know, surface level shit. We go deep. It's the real stuff that actually moves the needle. So it's talking about how your beliefs around money are formed in the first place, why you might feel stuck no matter how much you try, the patterns that keep repeating financially, and what you can start doing to shift it all. So it's the kind of thing where you'll probably listen once and think, oh my God, that makes total sense. And then you'll listen again and you'll pick up something completely different. So if you're serious about attracting more wealth, start there. Let it land properly, take what resonates, and actually apply it rather than jumping from one quick tip to the next. And then obviously, if you want to go even deeper with it, that's exactly why I built the academy, cannycrystalsacademy.co.uk. Get yourself on over there. Discount code for any of the courses is the word podcast. You get 10% off all courses. Do Abundance on Tap or Manifesting Money Masterclass. It would go great alongside money mindset work. But those two episodes are your foundation, 227 and 228. Go and give them a listen properly, not just in the background while you're half-assed doing something like the washing up, because there will be something in there that clicks for you in a way that it hasn't before. Okay, so thank you so much for listening to today's episode. I hope that you've enjoyed it. I hope that you've got something out of it.
