Hey, everyone, it's Mia from Spinify. And today we're going to boost that workplace culture as I show you just how easy it is to praise your colleagues and your team in your My spinify account. So today I'll go over how to ring the gong in your My Spinify account in Slack and also in the Spinify mobile app. Just note, you do need to have your gong achievement already set up in your My spinify account in order to ring the gong. All right, so to ring the gong, the first thing you want to do is to jump over here into your announcements icon and then click on Gong. So, super easy to set up. Just type in the title message.
And.
Then select your recipient. So you can either choose a user or a team. If you've got offices set up, you can select people from a particular office or just select your individual user. And then super simple, just click on Ring the Gong. Once that's done, jump over to your channel. And here we go. There's our gong. So next I'll show you how you can ring the gong from Slack. So just make sure you've got your Slack integration already set up with Spinify, and then once that's done, come back to here and we'll show you how it's done. So if you've already got your Slack integration set up and added into your channel, all you need to do is click on the forward slash, type in the word Gong, and then type in your message. You can also add someone to it if you like, and then send that off. So if we jump back over to our channel now, here's our gong coming through. And there it is.
So to ring the gong from your MySpinify app, just click on Celebrate down the bottom, then configure, then set it up to your liking. So type in your message, the name of the gong, and who you want the gong to go to. Then when you're happy, click Save, click the Gong, and there you have it. So if we jump back over to our channel now, you can see it's already good to go. And there's our gong. Nice and simple.
