Boosting Visibility - Microsoft Teams @spinify_

Hi ninjas, it's MIA from Spinify. And if you want to create more data visibility for your team, then keep watching because this video is for you. Alrighty, so today I'm going to show you how the Microsoft Teams integration works with Spinify. I'll also show you how to install the Spinify app in your Microsoft Teams instance. I'll show you how to use the app and also how the spinify app works in your Microsoft Team channels. So let's get into it. All right, so here we are in our Microsoft Teams instance. So to install the Spinify app, the first thing you need to do is to jump over here on the left hand side and click on Apps. From here we'll just search for spinify. So to add it in, you just simply click on Add. If it doesn't give you the option to add the Spinify app, then your IT team may have blocked your access to download third party apps. In that case, just speak to your IT team, get that all enabled and then jump on back. So you'll need to sign in if you haven't done so already. And once you're logged in, you'll get a complete overview of all of the competitions that you're involved in. So you can see if you click into any of them, it will take you to the more in depth overview. So here we have the placement that I'm currently sitting in this particular competition, what my particular actual data is. You can see what the overall data is as well as how many players are in the competition, and a couple of graphs that break down the performance of each person and also over time of the team. So you can scroll down, you can get a bit of a look at what everyone else is doing in the competition so that you can see what you need to do to maybe step up your game. And then from there we also have our profile screen, so you can get a snapshot of your particular user, what tier you're on, and also an about section which tells you just a little bit about the Spinify app. So what you can also do is add your Spinify competitions into a particular channel in teams. So that is a channel, not a chat. So you come over here to the team section of Microsoft Teams and then from there you select the channel that you're wanting to add your competitions to, click on the plus and then either click on Spinify or search for Spinify in the search box if it doesn't come up automatically. So then click on the Spinify app and then select the competition that you're wanting to add into the channel, then save. So again, this gives you a complete overview of this particular competition. So you've got all the same data as you had on the previous screen screen. It's just in your chat channel instead of directly in the Spinify app. So one other thing that you can do with the Spinify app in Microsoft Teams is you can also bring in all of your achievements. So to do that in your chat channel, come over here to posts. From there, click Create New Conversation and then type in Spinify. And then you have two commands here. You can either type in Help or you can type in Settings, which is what I'm going to do now. So sending that through will trigger a message from the spinify bot and that will help you to connect and customize your achievements. So click on connect and Customize and then select the achievements that you'd like to add into the channel. So this could be just one particular achievement, or there may be multiples, or you can simply add all of them and then click on save. So now that those are added in, anytime one of those achievements is triggered, it will come up in your spinify channel. So to see what that looks like, since I've only just added this particular one in, there won't be anything obviously in the channel. So to see what it looks like, we'll jump over here into our game of Growth Channel and you can see sort of what they look like when they come through. So here we've got, you know, Penny has moved up to tier L, we've got a couple score increases. Well done. Tyrion Lannister and Jon Snow, you guys are doing amazing in your competitions. And then anytime that they come through, everyone will be able to see them. That's in the channel and they can all celebrate together.
