Elevate Your Team With Gamification

Mia from Spinify walks through the platform's gamification tools for sales teams, including leaderboards, achievement screens, coaching features, and a new dashboard. The system auto-provisions from Salesforce and grades competitions to keep teams motivated and track performance.
Thank you so much for joining. My name is Mia and I'm the head of Customer Engagement here at spinify. For anyone who's new to Spinify, we are a sales gamification platform. Let's get stuck in. So a bit of an agenda. We're going to go through a couple of things that we also covered in last month's webinar. We've got coaching tools, Salesforce auto provisioning and the competition grading. We're also going to have a look through our updated UI that was done this year as well. We've got a whole bunch of new leaderboard and achievement screens we'll do a bit of an overview of and then I'll take you through a walkthrough of our amazing spinify Academy. Also our experiments feature and our brand new dashboards that we've just released within the last week. So exciting times. We had our performance grids and graphs which many of you will already be familiar with. But then we also had our tasks and our notes as well. So just a quick little overview of what those are. The tasks are an awesome way for you to keep your team accountable to particular things that they may need to work on. So if I go into our screen scorecards, I'll give you just a quick little rundown so you can see here we've got a little rundown of all the tasks that Cohen here needs to complete. So it's just a great way of keeping them accountable to particular things they need to take care of as well as particular areas they need to work on. So it's awesome for keeping track of what you've spoken about in your one and also what you are expecting for them till the next one on one as well. And then we also have our notes which you could see on our first page here. So we've got notes on here which you can add and edit anytime. They're a great way to keep track of the different things that you're going to talk about in your one on ones so you can edit them, you can put dates on them so you know what you've written when and it's just a really great tool there as well. Okay. And then we have our just a quick overview of a performance grid that we've got here. I'll just see if we can go to the actual grid. Oh, it's still calculating for this month. Sorry about that. But we've got our four quadrants here. So essentially you want everyone to be up here in this Rainmaker, sorry, Rainmaker column and that will Rainmaker quadrant rather. That's essentially where you ideally like all your team to be. That means they're hitting, you know, the targets, they're working towards the right things, doing the right things to get to those targets. And yeah, that's essentially the dream team right there. And you've got your caretakers who are on their way to that, your snoozers who are kind of dragging behind, and your hackers who aren't quite doing the right things and maybe need to have their performance looked into a little further. And so from there, we've also got our updated ui. So for anyone who joined before February, I believe it was this year, you may be familiar with this black and white, very plain sort of UI that we had. We've now updated it to this beautiful, colorful in very engaging sort of UI now so that, you know much more, you know, user friendly, nicer on the eyes, fun, engaging for your, for your team. Also, apologies. And then also throughout the year, we have had some amazing new designs released, especially within the last couple of months. I'm sure you've particularly picked up on a lot of our new achievement designs that have come through because we have gone from having about four to having a whole heap. So I'll quickly walk you through some of these. So if we come into this achievements icon over here and we'll go to create up here. So as you can see, we had our. These were our iconic kind of classic designs and we've now added all of these new ones through as well. So we should now have an achievement to cover all of your wants and needs, depending on what it is that you're wanting to celebrate. Maybe someone's moved up a place on the leaderboard and you're celebrating that. Or it may be that someone has closed 50% of their cases, which is super exciting, or someone's reached their target is always exciting. This is a great way that you can celebrate that with your team. And now that we've got all of these designs, you can pretty much put one through for every single design, have a whole bunch of achievements going throughout the day. It's a really great way of recognizing your team's hard work. And then we've also had, in addition to that, a whole heap of new competition designs. So competitions, obviously awesome way to promote a little bit of competitive spirit in the workplace. Take away the toxic competition of the old days and bringing it into a bit of more of a fun, engaging space rather than that standard sort of competitive way of going about competition. So just go through and show you a few of these. So we have our classic designs here. We've also got a whole bunch of new ones that you can have a look through. So here's a new one here. Comic Relief Gumdrope. So drop. And there's easily over 100 that we have released in the last year, which is super exciting for you guys to have more interactivity and more, you know, something that's maybe more aligned with your company's vision of how you want your leaderboards to look. And these are all customizable to your metrics and goals. And we also just want to quickly go through a couple of my personal favorites have done here our fun ones. So we initially had these two, racetrack and carnival. We've now got a couple more super fun ones as well. So they're a really great way of bringing the excitement into the competition as well. And then hopefully you've still got me because my computer keeps freezing on me. We have our experiments feature. So this is a very super duper exciting feature that we've released this year. And it's a really great way that you can keep track of the way that particular processes are working for you. So that may be, for example, your opening hours, or it may be that you have a script that you've used for the last 20 years and you want to revamp it and see how it goes before making that change permanent. And it's a really great way for you to be able to test that out and determine the success of that. So I'm going to do a walkthrough now of how that will look and how that works. So we come over here to our reporting section and we have experiments. So you can see I've already got one here that's ongoing. So they've changed the call script. They've had a little bit of a low revenue problem and they're now hoping that this new change to the call script will increase their revenue. So we're going to make a new one and we're going to do, for this example, we'll do extending the business hours. Maybe they found that, for example, they work with companies that are overseas or in a different time zone and their standard business hours aren't working for them. So they're going to try extending them to see if that will help that problem. And then we've got here our hypothesis. So you want to put in what your expectations is. So you expect that by extending the business hours, we'll address the time zone issue and result in more happy customers. Oops, sorry. My computer is being a little weird today. Happy customers in other time zones. And you can also add particular competitions to this experiment so that you can keep track of the success. So we can do a calls made competition because then you can see how many calls are being done. Obviously if you're extending your business hours you would expect that more calls would be made. And you can also do meetings booked because obviously if you're extending your hours, you would also expect more meetings to be booked in those extended hours. We'll come up here and create. So now our experiment has been created and it's up top here. So to look into this further, we'll just come over here and go into view. And here we go. So we've got our hypothesis up the top here and we've got our two competitions that are in there. And now you can see like a little bit of a breakdown of what the score is of those competitions as well. So you can see how they're tracking. So what we have here are your learnings. So this is an awesome way that you can keep track of how things are going on your end. So you obviously got the overview of your competitions here and then the learnings give you a complete picture so you can see what you are, you know, little things that you're picking up. So maybe, you know, extending them by two hours didn't work, so now you're going to extend them by three or something along the lines. So you can just add learnings in here. So say new hours didn't. Or not working for New Zealand customers. Oh my goodness, sorry, you need to extend by 30 minutes. And now you've got that learning in there. So you know that that particular part of this experiment wasn't quite working. You can have a bit of a tweak on it and you. Or you can say you can do this after the fact even. So once you've determined whether or not the experiment is successful, you can then come back and say it didn't work for this we're going to run a new experiment for X, Y and Z and then you can come up and once you can essentially leave these experiments open for as long as you like and they. Until you've kind of determined the success of that particular experiment there. So we can go up and mark that as complete. You can say that once, obviously once your experiment has run its course, mark it as complete and you can then determine whether or not the experiment was successful. So in this, if it's not successful, that's not the end of the world. Obviously that just means that particular thing didn't work and now you can go and try something else or you can revert back to your old process if that worked better for you. So it's just a really great way that you can test out some new things and, you know, you try and see if they are a successful option for you before bringing that change in permanently. So in this case we'll say that it, you know, it was successful. They were able to book a whole bunch more meetings. Once they extended it the time by 30 minutes, they were able to get more people from New Zealand. So you can add that in the learnings as well. Oh, gosh, sorry. And now you've got, you know, your learnings there. Awesome. That experiment was successful. You can bring that in permanently or, you know, as I said, if it wasn't successful, then that's fine, you can just try something else or you can go back to your old process. Whatever works for you and your company. So. Oh, sorry, I didn't go over this bottom bit down here. Obviously it's not the first day, so I don't have a lot of data in here. So go into the other experiment and I'll show you what that looks like. So it gives you a comparison of competition A, which is this one down the bottom, and competition B, so you can see how they're tracking against their scores and against each other and that helps you determine the success of the experiment. You can see sort of a bit of an overview of how it's all going and it just kind of helps you determine, you know, if this particular experiment is working in conjunction with these two competitions or however many competitions you've got running against this particular experiment. So that's the experiments, which is super exciting. And now I'll take you through a bit of a walkthrough of our Spinify Academy. Now, this one is personally exciting for me and if you've been sitting here wondering if you know my face from somewhere but aren't quite sure where that's from, the Spinify Academy will most likely be it. So the Spinify Academy is something we launched back in May this year, so it's still quite new, but it's also a really exciting resource for anyone who's using Spinify. So this is essentially a set of courses that help you navigate your Spinify instance. So it will essentially turn you into the best Spinify ninja you possibly can be. It will have everything you need to know about using Spinify, as well as some extra things that we've popped in there, which are will help you take that up a notch to the next level and not only in your spinify instance, but also just in your team in general. So the first page you will likely come to when you go through to our Academy is our certifications page. So if you do multiple, if you have a particular CRM or data app that's integrated with spinify, you can go straight to these certifications, pick the data app that you have integrated with and you can do courses just related to that particular CRM or data app. Or if you have one that's not currently listed, We've got our Spinify Ninja 1 here, which covers pretty much all the rest of the options that we, that we integrate with at spinify. So I'll go into this one here. The exciting thing about the certifications is as well, obviously being a certification at the end of the course, you do receive a badge that you can also display in your Spinify Academy account as well as also on your LinkedIn. So you've got that there as well. And this essentially takes you through how to use Spinify from your first login all the way through to once you have completely onboarded and you're now looking to bring in metrics and goals, create competitions, and maybe you're a little stuck on some ideas that you might want to track in your spinify instance. So this is also a great tool for that as well. So it really levels up your game and also takes you through the entire how to use process in spinify. So I'll give you just a quick kind of look through of a couple of the courses here. So we have our competition creation course. So if I go into. Oh no, it's not going to let me do that one, sorry, let's try one that I haven't completed yet. Here we go. All right. So it essentially takes you through the step by step of how to complete a particular task or how to set particular goals in spinify. And it's just a super handy resource. So you know, you can just hit the ground running, you know exactly what you need to do and you can go pretty much from the Academy straight into spinify. And you can also do them at the same time, which is what we recommend doing. So you essentially learn by doing as well, which is awesome for people like me. I have to learn by doing. I can't learn by sitting there and watching someone talk at me like I am you today. So I have to learn by actually getting my hands dirty and getting in there and seeing what it's about and that's what's also great about this academy also. So it essentially holds your hand through the entire spinify experience. So we've got a few different ways that we approach learning in the academy. We've got these, which are walk through, step by step videos and we've also got our little gifts, got some fun gifts in there as well. That's always a great way to remember how to do something. I find when I'm writing content for education, you will see a joke or see a GIF and think, oh yeah, that relates to that particular, you know, item in spinify. So in this case I know, oh, that relates to when I had to remove an Excel integration, so I was changing to Google Sheets or something along those lines. So awesome tool, not just for onboarding as well. Go back and show you what I mean by that. So we have. This is what I want. We also have our Level up and our goals and inspiration section which are super awesome for once you've onboarded and you're looking to kind of step up to the next level of your spinify experience. So with Level up, these are more sort of the next stage and next phase of your onboarding experience. So ways that you can coach your team experiments, which I just walked you through before, how to analyze your data once your competitions are up and running. So this is a great way to show you how to use the rest of the features, I guess, in your spinify account so that you can kind of become that overall spinify expert and code coaching expert that you want to need to be. If we go back now to our goals and inspirations, now, these are a little bit different. They are not a set course like the others that have a walkthrough and a quiz at the end. These are purely to help you when you're setting your metrics, for example, or your targets. It's sort of just a way that you can, you know, help inspire your team, set some goals and just sort of improve your KPIs as well. So if we go into, for example, qualifying more leads, we'll get started. So we've got here a bunch of different goals you could set and a few different competitions may relate to that particular type of goal. So we've got a little bit of an overview of some examples that you may want to run that will help you and your team qualify more leads or inspire them to do that. And then we've got a bit more in depth information on recommendations of competitions and achievements that you can set up. So for Example, most qualified leads this month we can flip that card. You can see, you can set up a chase the leader competition, pop it as a race style competition. So then you've got, you know, your fun little race cars or riding through the rabbit warren and that just kind of brings the fun into, into that. You want to be the first across the finish line in those ones. It's a really exciting way to pep up your team as well as motivate them to reach the particular target. So for this particular one, obviously it's mostly it's qualified. We don't have a target set because you want to see who does the most. Whereas if we go to overall target, obviously we have this particular one will be a team based one. So this is everyone all together or you can have two separate parts of your team pit against one another, however you want to do that. And then they are going towards a particular target or goal. So this is just a great way, great little tool that will give you some ideas on different metrics that you can run for or different competitions and achievements that you can run for. This particular goal of qualifying more leads, for example. So we've got a whole bunch of ideas you can go through here. And then we've also got some. Oh, sorry, these are some more ideas that you can do. So we can pop in a countdown message to keep the urgency alive as well. So you know, oh, end of month is, you know, in X many days and you have to reach the goal by that day. So you can make messages and pop them in the banners in your Spinify account. And then we've also got additional tips and tricks in these ones also. So this is a great way for you to go in and maybe there may be some ideas in here that you haven't thought of that could help you to qualify more leads in this example so you can go through. And we've got a bit of a rundown and this is based on our experience as well as a whole bunch of research that we have done here at Spinify to give you the most thorough and in depth information that we can. So that's essentially Spinify Academy. Definitely recommend you going in and having a look in there. There's a lot of really awesome tools in here and there may also be parts of Spinify that you haven't explored or discovered yet that this particular tool, Spinify Academy, will have a course on and will help you understand more. Or maybe if you are unsure about a particular feature, you can come in here and check out a bit of an in depth, how to, of how to use it and why you should, because there's a lot of obviously amazing features in spinify that you can explore. All right, so lastly, the last thing I want to walk through today is a very exciting new, I guess, interface that we've just introduced in the last week. So this is the new dashboard screen. So you may recall beforehand we had our, this whole section was kind of on the left hand side here and we had this over here on the right hand side and it was all kind of squashed up and now we have made it kind of all out in the open. There's a much more thorough overview and it gives you a better insights into how particular parts of your Spinify and also your players are performing. So we start off, we've got our competition overview here. So you can see on your dashboard we've got an overview of the current performance, how it's going, where everyone is sitting in the competition when it ends, how many players and then also your target and score. Obviously this is, we're still kind of mid month so we're hoping that it will pick up a little bit. But you can see this one for example, calls made are doing a much better in their competition. So we've got kind of a lot of calls getting done there. We're generally over target, which is a great way. That's, that's the way you can see that this particular competition is working really well. And then you can click into the actual competition to go through to the performance graphs page as you would generally, generally have been able to in the past. And then we have our coaching tab. So we've got our experiments here. So you can see the one that we've just made here, it's completed and successful. We've got our ongoing one, so it gives us an overview of how those are going as well. And if we scroll down a little bit, we've got our performance grid here and our notes and our tasks. So all of our coaching tools in one place and that makes it a lot easier for you to, to find particular tools or to analyze performance as well. And then we've got our players. So this is awesome because we've got kind of an overview of where everyone's sitting. You can see who your top player is and you can also have a look at all the achievements that have been, you know, received or dished out in the last, you know, over time. You can see the gongs here as well. So who's received a gong and when. We've also got our birthdays and our work anniversaries tab as well. So you can also keep track if you've added them into your Spinify account of when everyone's birthdays is because you want to set up a birthday achievement just to, you know, make them feel a little extra special on their birthday. Everyone loves that. So yeah, that's just kind of like an awesome way that you can overview where everyone is sitting. You can also have a look at badges so you can see who's received badges, how many as well. So it just kind of gives you a big overview of how everyone is performing in Spinify. And now we've got our rewards tab. So if you have the rewards store as part of your Spinify instance, you can come in here and see prizes redeemed. So Annabella's unlocked her free lunch and then we've also got again an overview of of the top players. You can see how many prizes have been redeemed. So this is brand new, so obviously there's, there's not a lot of information in there at the moment, but we've got a kind of gives you like an overview of how rewards are being dished out and spent as well. If you're new here, make sure to jump over to spinify.com to book your free product tour. We'd love to show you a little more of our amazing gamification platform and how we can help boost your team. So have an amazing holiday season. I hope you've had an incredible 2022. I look forward to seeing you next month on again. That will be the 18th of January if you're in the American sides of things or if you're in the Australian sides of things, that'll be the 19th of January. But we'll send those details out to your emails after, after Christmas so you receive those details shortly and have an amazing 2,023 as well. I look forward to seeing you guys next year and continuing to work with you and see how Spinify can help elevate you next year as well. So thank you so much and I'll see you soon.
