Empowering With Badges Through Spinify!

So we know motivation drives success, but what drives motivation? Hi, it's Mia here from spinify. And one thing we know for sure is that incentives is an excellent motivation driver. Now, that doesn't always mean a big cash bonus or luxury holidays. It can be something as simple as a badge. And that's exactly what I'm going to walk you through today, how you can set up and administer a badge in your MySpinify account. So from your MySpinify dashboard, jump over here into the rewards icon of the left hand menu and then select on Badges. You can see I already have a couple of badges set up ready to go. But to create a new one, we just select Create Badge from here. To select your badge name, you can either use Sidekick, or if you prefer, you can come up with your own name for your badge. And that's what I'm going to do today. So we scroll over here into the badge name, click in there and add the name that you would like to use for your badge. If you'd like to improve the name that you've selected, you can go ahead and click on the Magic Wand and Psychic will then get to work creating alternative and fun names. Next, we want to add in our description. Again, if you would like to improve the description that you have entered in yourself, just go ahead and click on the Magic Wand and Psychic will once again generate some options for you. Next, you can select your badge image. So if you have an image in mind, you can upload it directly from your computer or you can select one of the options that we've already laid out here for you. And you can also opt for the badge to be manually awarded at any time. Once you're happy with these options, scroll up to the top and select Create Badge. And there's our badge here. So before we go any further, I'm just going to go through and show you how to set up a badge achievement. This will make things extra exciting when you actually award your badge, as it will broadcast that badge being earned onto your TV channels. So to do that, we jump over here into the Alert section and then we'll click on Create Achievement. So select the achievement type that stands out for you. And again, you can either use Sidekick to name your badge or you can name it yourself. So I'm going to go ahead and name it myself this time as well, and I'm just going to name it Badge. The trigger that you want to set up for this is also Badge. So you just go through and select that from the options and then this will automatically fill in for you. Based on this selection, you can then select who you would like to receive the badge achievement. So you can either customize your users or you can send it to everyone. And if you would like, you can even customize the messaging that will show on the achievement. So you can add additional tags and variables in here such as the first name and last name, or you can generate your own message. You can even type in your own message if you prefer. Now it's time to set up the fun stuff. So this is what will announce the badge on the channel. So we've got here a warm up video. You can either select a custom one or one from our Spinify library. You can also add in an achievement sound, so most users may already have their achievement sound set up. Otherwise you can select one from the list here. You can then set up how long the achievement will display on the channel. So this will be rotating over 12 hours for instance, and then how long it will show each time in seconds when it comes up on the screen. You can also opt to send notification to the recipient or recipients list. You can send it on mobile as well, and also an email if you prefer. And now you can select your channels. So these will be the channels that the achievement will appear in once the badge has been administered. And then we click on Enabled. If we don't click Enabled, then the achievement won't trigger when the badge is awarded. Once you're happy with everything here, we scroll up to the top and click on Create Achievement. And there it is. So now it's time to award the badge. So we just click on here on Reward Badge. You then select the user you would like the badge to go to. Once that's done, click on Award Badge. Then if we jump over here into our channel, it will trigger in here once the badge has been awarded. And there we have it.
