This is a YouTube video titled "Essential Traits to Look for When Hiring Top Sales Talent" containing a monologue or talk from October 10, 2024, discussing key qualities that make a good salesperson, such as coachability, process adherence, technology use, persistence, and fearlessness. The content appears to be a single speaker sharing insights on sales hiring criteria.
Hey, some of the top things I think that you need in a good salesperson, are they coachable, I. E. Can you tell them something and then they learn from it and change? Do they follow process? Can they use a CRM? And when I say a CRM, are they also, can they use technology? Because if they can't use technology and it all takes too long, it's not a good thing. Especially in the world of SaaS. Do they not give up? Do they know when to give up? Now, those two things are slightly different, right? But what it's really about is someone who pushes all the way and then finally says, you know what? That person's not wasting my time. I'm not going to do something. So do they have a strong fight? And then the most important one that I always ask people about is what's their fear? The best salesperson has almost none because lots of people put things in front of them to stop them from doing something in sales. Oh, maybe I shouldn't call that person. And they always get pushback by exception. True great salespeople don't have fear and don't worry about the exceptions. They just worry about the result.
