Traditional sales competitions miss deals because they're not real-time. Live tracking through CRM, Google Sheets, or Slack keeps teams engaged and helps close more business by showing results as they happen.
Sales competitions are broken. People run them on an Excel spreadsheet. People run them on a whiteboard where they sit and do. Then they meet once a week, once a month, once a quarter, and go, oh yeah, this person hit it. This person didn't. What they need to do is turn it into real time competition. That as the data changes in your CRM, in Google sheets, in Excel, in Power bi, wherever that data is, that it changes the tv, it changes within Microsoft Teams or Slack. But people can see it. You don't have to wait till it's already finished. The race is happening. You can change it in the middle as opposed to it's a past event. It's a constant mistake of not running competitions effectively. And not running competitions effectively just means you just keep missing deals. Competitions help close deals. How exciting is that?
