Setting up Auto Provisioning - Salesforce & @spinify_

This is a YouTube video titled "Setting up Auto Provisioning - Salesforce & @spinify_" created on December 9, 2022. The video features Mia from Spinify providing a detailed tutorial on how to set up and use the Salesforce auto provisioning feature to keep user lists updated automatically by integrating Salesforce Reports with the Spinify platform.
Hi, everyone. Mia from Spinify here. And today I'm going to be walking you through an exciting new feature on our platform that goes hand in hand with the Salesforce Reports integration. In today's video, I'll show you how to set up and use the Salesforce auto provisioning. This will keep your user list up to date, automatically adding and removing any users from your spinify instance using your Salesforce Reports. So because this particular feature is specific to those with a Salesforce Reports integration, you do need to make sure you've got that set up already. So if you haven't already set up your Salesforce Reports integration, jump over and do that and then come back to this video. Once that's all done, you need to make sure that you're logged into both your Salesforce and your MySpinify accounts in order to complete this process. So the first thing I'm going to do is to start off in Salesforce. So I'm going to come over here to the User menu and switch over to Salesforce Classic. And from here I'm going to go over to Reports. Click on New Report. Now, this is a user report and that will come up under Administrative Reports. Just expand that, click on Users and then create. So there's a couple of things you need to do to set up the report. First and foremost, just click on all users and then just make sure that it's on tabular format. So now we can add in our columns. So we want first name, we want last name, we want email user id. We also want Active. And last but not least, we would like Time Zone. So once that's all set up like this, we'll just click on Save. So we want to save it as something that you will easily recognize. So in this case, I'll save it as Spinify Users. And then this is really important. You need to save it into your spinify Reports folder. The folder that's saved in has to be called spinify Reports, otherwise it won't integrate properly into your spinify account. Save and run the report and then we'll jump back over to MySpinify. Then we'll jump back over to your MySpinify account and click on the Users menu and we'll click on these three vertical docs over here and User provisioning. All right, so we currently don't have provisioning setup. So we're going to go create Provision and then Salesforce Report data and then you're going to select the report. So here we have our Spinify users report that we just created in Salesforce. If you need to refresh your list of reports, it may take up to 10 minutes to come in, depending on the connections and things like that. But once that's all to your liking, we'll go create provision. And that's now been created successfully. So now anytime you add a user into Salesforce or remove a user from Salesforce and it's updated on this report, that will automatically sync daily into your MySpinify account and update your users accordingly. And there we have a super duper easy way that you can keep your spinify users up to date using your Salesforce reports integration. Don't forget to like and subscribe.
