This is a YouTube video titled "The Power of Setting Targets in Business" containing a motivational talk or presentation focused on the importance of business owners knowing their data, setting measurable targets, and encouraging staff to achieve and exceed these goals for company growth. The speaker emphasizes the benefits of goal-setting and continuous improvement.
How many business owners just don't know their data, Their business data? They just don't know their numbers? Are you one of those business owners that just don't know your numbers? Don't have the targets for your staff? Just treat every month like it was okay. I guess we did. All right. The way to turn that around and to change your company is to set goals, have targets, measure them, make it visible, and have everyone trying to achieve those targets. And then when they hit them, yay. Congratulate everyone and make the targets higher. And then repeat. Setting targets is a fantastic way to get that growth and make people stretch for a goal. So if you're not setting targets, really think about why not and start doing it.
