This is a YouTube video titled "The Secret Sauce to Motivating Your Sales Team (and it’s NOT what you think)" containing a motivational talk or presentation about effective strategies to keep a sales team motivated by using visible data, recognition, and team goals. The content is a monologue by a single speaker sharing insights on sales team motivation.
How do you keep a sales team motivated? Such a complex issue. Is it? No, it's not. It's easy. You motivate the team by showing them the data, by turning it into a visible, fun thing and putting it on a tv, playing a song when they get something done. So constant recognition, but showing them what their targets are, showing them their progress to their targets, and celebrating when they hit the targets. This is the way to motivate a team. Creating those goals that are not just individual, but also team and company wide. All these things motivate someone in sales to do a little bit more, and it makes them feel like they're part of something bigger. Lots of different leaderboards, team ones, individual ones. All these things motivate people. Along with the recognition bit. It's so easy. So what are you waiting for?
