This is a YouTube video titled "The Secret to Success: Knowing Your Numbers" featuring Matt Bullock delivering a monologue or talk about the importance for CEOs and sales managers to understand and track their key performance numbers to drive success, including using competitions and progress tracking.
One common thing I see between CEOs who know their stuff and who are great is that they know their numbers. They know what they are, they know what they're chasing. And it's the same thing as a sales manager with managing reps. You need them to know their numbers. And the best way to do it is to run competitions and put them on a tv. And that way they can see their number and they can see on a progress bar how they're traveling towards their number, are they going to make it? And as a manager, you can help those people that aren't getting close to their number, and then you can celebrate the people that actually make their number. But ultimately, you need to know the numbers to succeed.
