This is a YouTube video titled "What's the best way to motivate a team?" containing a monologue or talk from June 20, 2024, discussing strategies to create fair and motivating competitions within teams by adjusting targets or grouping top performers separately. The content appears to be a single speaker sharing insights on team motivation and competition design.
I often hear that people can't create competitions online because it just won't work. Why won't it work? Well, because they have one rep that's just better than everyone else that's easy to fix. It's about targets. You just make that rep have a higher target than everyone else. So when on the competition on Spinify, they've got to pedal twice as fast as everyone else to do it, or three times as fast or whatever it is. Other ways to solve it is those top dogs, you just put them in a separate competition all by themselves and take them out. The other thing you can do is group them together and measure the team on.
