Speaker B argues AI is the biggest shift since the internet, and actually bigger. They believe it represents a fundamental transformation with unprecedented scale and potential impact that nothing else in their lifetime compares to.
What makes you so optimistic about the future of AI?
I don't think there's been as fundamental shift in our lifetime beyond the birth of the internet.
There's nothing as big as what this is.
Many of us still don't truly get our heads around the far-reaching impact that this is having. The technology continues to move forward at such a rate, at such a pace that in many ways you get a little scared of it as well, right? It requires the appropriate care to be able to deliver this in a way that is appropriate. And so If you believe that this train is coming, as I do, then I'd rather be part of the change. I'd rather be part of the voice as we learn more, as we get more definitive in our understanding around how it's going to impact our industry and be that voice of reason to support rational executives understand it than be on the outside witnessing it being done.
