Revenue doesn't guarantee growth. A restaurant brand scales faster by making existing owners so profitable they open new locations themselves, rather than constantly recruiting new owners. Profitability is what actually drives expansion.
Revenue is great, but profitability is king. And we recognize that growth is driven by profitability. You're not going to open another restaurant if you make $1 million, but you bring $50 to the bottom line. We need to make you profitable. And it's much easier as a brand to convince Matt to open restaurant 2, 3, 4, 5, 200, 201, 202 than to bring somebody into the system. So farming is much easier than hunting.
