An AI system with specialized agents could run a restaurant's supply chain: a negotiator cuts deals with suppliers, an inventory engine prevents stockouts, a GM assistant flags problems and suggests promotions, and a Q&A bot helps staff answer questions in real time.

fully agentic AI is the most promising, the AI really having more independent decision-making skills and then being able to operate in like orchestrated ways. So you can imagine a fully agentic supply chain for a restaurant where you have a negotiator that reaches out to your suppliers and gets you better prices. And then you have an inventory predictive engine that helps make sure your stores are stocked. And maybe that feeds into your GM assistant to let the GM know what might sell out and where to watch out and what to push and what not to push. Which maybe then feeds into an employee-level assistant that's more of a Q&A bot of, hey, are we out of this? Or what should I do now because we have a slow period and how can I help the store?
