Welcome to the Clarity Corner where you'll discover how to unlock and express the most authentic version of you and realize.
That this is exactly what you were.
Looking for the entire time. I'm your host and your coach, Megan Siemens. Now let's make some magic happen. Hello my friend. Welcome back to the Clarity Corner. I'm so glad you're here and I hope you're having the most magical week. Take a moment to notice your body and how it's arrived to this space as you spend some time nourishing yourself with this week's podcast episode. We have a lined conversation this week with someone very magical and exciting. But before I introduce you to her and about the episode, I want to share a little exciting announcement. I have reopened my free private Facebook community, the Magic by Design Community, and I have some really exciting things in store. This week I'm going to be doing a human design Q and A. So if you have questions about your design as you've been listening to the episodes, or just curiosities about your design in general, I'll have a space for you to ask those. And I have my most popular free training coming up. The Hidden Comfort Zones training. Oh, this is such a fun training. And the last time I ran it live was 2021 question mark. 2022 question mark. One of those years in the the year of the 20s that got smushed all together and it is just always so much fun to host live. The breakthroughs are always unreal. The way that we zoom in to the sneaky comfort zones that have been keeping us back from taking action on our vision, on what it is we truly desire, it's just really illuminated in this three day See series. So I'll be hosting it live in the free Community. I'm also going to be taking you behind the scenes of my book writing process.
I love public accountability.
So putting your big scary vision, your big scary goals out there for other people to see, this is something I've put into practice in so many ways. If you've been following me for a while, you've probably been a part of.
A few of them.
And in the one mile challenge, the 21 days of hot yoga. Also, if you've been really following for a while and you've been here since Andrew and I did our first one way ticket trip around the world, we were actually reflecting about this last night and one of my favorite things about that trip was the anticipation. And so much of that was because of public accountability. I was telling everyone, everyone that we were selling all of our stuff and we were leaving to travel the world for a year. I was telling everyone I met that, like strangers, I was telling him last night when we were reflecting. I just like loved the anticipatory buzz of like when we called to cancel our cable and you know, they're like, oh, we can offer you these specials. And I'm like, oh, I'm actually leaving.
To travel the world.
And like, there's this external sense of accountability and there's also this seed that's planted when you put something big out there to the world that sparks what can be what I call the ripple effect. And we'll save that for another episode. It's one of my favorite concepts. But all of that to say I love public accountability. I think it's such a powerful and overlooked part of making our goals come alive, making our vision come alive, crystallizing our vision into reality. And it's a way to do it without pressure or force. So I'm going to do that very publicly with this book writing process which has been, oh my goodness, full of the lessons already, full of the fears, full of the procrastination, full of the excuses, and also very much full of the magic and coming alive and unfolding. And I want to share that with you. It's one of my favorite things to do is to take you behind the scenes and share the Hot Mess express and the celebrations along the way as well. So come join us in the free.
Community because there's going to be a.
Lot of good stuff happening in there. It'll be all linked in the show notes. You'll hear more about the trainings and behind the scenes sneak peeks that I'll be opening up in there along the way. But do come on over, join now, say hi and hello and I'm so excited to have you in there. Okay. Our episode today, like I said, is with a magical human. And it's a very interesting conversation because I have with us today Danielle Laura, who is a human design and Gene Keys expert, among other things. I'll tell you a little more about.
Her with her beautiful bio here in a moment.
But you might be wondering, Megan, why are you having another human design expert on the show? Isn't that what you do? And this is one of the concepts that we actually just wanted to bring to life. We connected over this idea that there is space for all of us. And you know, the kind of cliche quote that we'll hear is collaboration over competition.
And as cliche and cheesy as it.
Is, I really do believe that. And I believe that because I do believe that there is space for every single one of us. And even if two people do the same thing, they're just going to express it in different ways and they're going to magnify different people in. And so we illuminate that in our conversation a little bit. We illuminate parts of Danielle's chart. She illuminates parts of my chart. And you definitely want to stick around to the end because Danielle dropped some serious magic around my chart and some things that I have not really spent a lot of time zooming in on. And I felt so incredibly seen, so incredibly felt in this space. And I just know that you are going to feel Danielle's magic and it's going to open up some curiosities for you as you go as well. So a little more about Danielle Danielle Laura is a two time number one best selling and award winning author, human Design and Gene key, expert strategist, spiritual advisor and founder of the Hotel Method. And my friend, I'll see you in the in the free community soon.
Soon.
Okay. Hello and welcome to the Clarity Corner, my human design projector friend. Danielle, I'm so excited you're here.
I am so excited to be here with you. We are going to have such an epic conversation.
It's going to be so much fun. I can't wait to see what direction it goes in. And it was just such a treat to like take a peek into your design. I don't know, I always feel like there's a difference between, like, looking at someone's design that you know and then looking at someone's design who's, like, a total stranger. Do you feel that, too?
Definitely. Definitely.
Yeah. It's always like. I don't know, there's this sense of, like, oh, yeah, that makes sense with someone, you know, versus, like, a stranger. You're like, I'm just trusting. I'm trusting that it's gonna land.
Yep, exactly.
Yeah. So if you all haven't picked up. Danielle is also a human design genius. A guide in all things human design, and also Gene Keys. We're going to have a little fun today, kind of pulling out different parts of each other's charts, seeing what comes through, letting her share through her magic. And I'm just so excited because I think one thing we really connected on when we very first met was this concept of collaboration over competition, which, for me, I feel like human design makes that easy for me to understand because.
I know that we're all different.
Why is that, like, an easy concept for you? Or why is that something you've always kind of leaned into?
You know, it just makes so much sense to me, like, if you believe. At least I believe I am here to make an impact in the world, positively change the world. I know that I can't do that all on my own, and I can't do that with every single person. Right. I know there are other people that have pieces to the puzzle that I don't have that are going to resonate with people that I'm not going to resonate with. Therefore, if you believe you're here to make an impact. Impact, then I think it's really easy to want to collaborate. Right. And know that there's going to be people that inevitably are going to resonate more with you than they would with me. So let me send them your way. Heck, yeah. We're all here to uplift humanity. So why is there any concept of competition? It doesn't even make sense to me, to be honest.
Oh, my gosh. I'm so obsessed with that. It's so true. Like, there's people that are going to resonate with you. There's people that are going to resonate with me. There's people that are going to resonate with both of us. And, like, there's going to be seasons for all of it.
Exactly.
It's so good. How did you stumble on human design? I always love a human design journey.
Oh, yes. So I was. This was back in 2016, before human design was a fad. Like, nobody was talking about it. It was not online. It was like very like, hush, hush. I mean, it was there, but it was not popular as it is now. And I was in my corporate job, I was a medical executive, had climbed the corporate ladder, and I was just. I remember one day, I granted, this was like months and months of like feeling distraught and feeling like I'm not living my true purpose. Even though I was making a difference and I had an amazing career and externally I had everything that most people would want at a young age. I was in my 20s, and yet I still felt unfulfilled. And I remember waking up on a Saturday being like, oh no, in two days I have to go back there and it's like I couldn't even enjoy my weekend because I was like, oh no, my soul is going to die again on Monday. Like, this sounds so dramatic. I know, right? But it's like if you've ever been in a place that's so not in your purpose, it feels like soul death. Right? And so I remember just finally, after months and months and months and really years, let's be honest, of living a life that wasn't really my own.
Yeah.
And that I lived to please everybody around me, I got so curious. I'm like, there has to be something beyond the physical because I was, I was an oncology nurse. And beyond the mental, I was also a clinical therapist. And I'm like, has to be something else because this is not it. Why am I knowing and sensing all these things about people feeling energy? I'm like, I know I'm not crazy. Why am I like, taking on, you know, the energy of my patients? And then all of a sudden, like, I'm feeling sick and I'm feeling like I have cancer. Right? Or all of these things. And I'm like, okay, they know I'm not insane, so like, there has to be something else here. And so I became obsessed with finding the answer. And I studied all kinds of things. I remember even typing into Google, like, what is the missing link beyond physical and mental? And like, whatever you could possibly think of, I was typing in and I stumbled upon human design and gene keys, like articles and videos. And I was like, oh, what is this? And at first I was like, super skeptical because I was like, I. I was in Western medicine, right? So I'm like, everything needs to be like, empirical data. I need to see the science behind this. I need the proof that this is actually, like, real. And there wasn't, Right? And I was like, beyond just case studies. And things like this. And I'm like, interesting. And it was literally I was at that point where I was so disillusioned that I like, well, even if it doesn't have the data, whatever, I'm going to put that aside and I'm going to say, is this helpful? Can this help me in some way? And it was literally that moment where I just started going so deep into the study of myself, of my human design and my gene keys and everything started making sense to me. It awakened and literally put me on into my spiritual awakening that then transformed my entire reality, like months later. Then I ended up leaving my corporate job, getting a divorce, moving across the country, starting my business. All of the things like dark night of the soul. But it propelled me into literally living my dream, which is what I do now. So, yeah, that's a little bit long. The long, short form of how I got into human design.
I know, I was thinking, I bet it's not the long. I bet there's like so much more juicy information and all of that. But I love that and I feel like there's so much, so many elements of your design that's already like shining through in that story, which is just so cool. Before we get into some of your design though, can you tell us what gene keys are? Because we're very familiar with human design around here. But what are these gene key things?
I think human design and gene keys go hand in hand. They're so similar. So you'll notice in human design, the different, like signs and symbols you see around your, around your profile on each side there's two columns. Those are your human design gates that are also your gene keys. So they correspond to one another. But the cool thing about when we're looking at just the gene keys, we can look at any, any domain of life and see how we are meant to thrive. It shows us what our superpower is when we are in our light and our highest vibration, what that is, it shows us when we're in our shadow, exactly what that is. So when we are out of alignment, we know exactly what that is. And then it shows us the exact gift that bridges the gap to go from our shadow out of align alignment back into our light and highest alignment. So this is freaking life changing. Because when we can realize, oh. Because 99% of the time we're simply just in our shadow state. That's all. So when we can just realize, oh, I'm just in my shadow, here's exactly what I do to get out of it. It takes all of the emotional charge out of things. It takes out the guilt, the shame, the spirals of woods, shoulds could haves, blah, blah, blah. All these things that we make up in our mind, and we start, Then our inner critic comes up. It just negates all of that. We can say, oh, silly me. I'm just in my shadow. Here's what I do to get back into my light. And then you just do it.
Yeah.
And it's so liberating. I say our gene keys are literally the keys to our kingdom.
Yeah. It's amazing the things we can do when we just come back to ourselves. Isn't it, really?
And that's a part of your design, which I think is that, too. Is so. Yeah. I love it.
Is it? Tell us more. I love to hear voice for this.
Yes. Okay. So literally, as soon as you said that, I was. I was looking at your. At your profile, and your Mercury is gate 33, line 4, which is the gate of privacy. But what this means is it's sharing lessons from the past and being wise and coming home to ourselves. It's literally the gate of, like, I remember. Right. So it's. It's remembering who you really are at your core and coming home to yourself. And that's, like, your entire message of your energetics. So it's so funny that you just said that, because that's so. That's your whole essence, essentially.
Right.
And that's your very huge piece of how you guide people.
This is magical already. Like, these tools are so cool, and it's. It's fascinating to me. Like, no matter how many times I dive into my chart, I look at my own chart. I've had other people look at my chart. Like, just the way we can give voice to things in. In different ways through different lenses, and, like, the potency of that, which I feel like is so much of the magic of this conversation between the two of us as well.
Totally. I love it.
So cool. Okay. Was there a specific piece of human design that kind of, like, drew you in? Because you said you were kind of, like, skeptical. Was there one piece that you were like, ooh, that makes sense, or that landed, and that was the piece that, like, hooked you in, I feel like this is, like, a common occurrence.
Oh, yeah. Well, except for it was everything it was. I love that. I was like, I am seen. I am exposed. I felt more seen in my life, and I think this is a common thing as projectors. So much of my life, I didn't feel seen. I did not feel Understood. I did not feel like I really was seen for who I really was. And that perpetuated this energy of being a people pleaser and just being whoever somebody needed me to be. Right. And when I actually found human design, I felt seen by. It wasn't even by someone. It was from the system. Right. And I was like, from the human design experiment. And I'm like, oh, my, this is. This is me. And it allowed me to see myself in a mirror and a reflection of like, oh, damn, this is who I am. I can ignore this anymore.
Yeah.
Wow. And it was so compelling to the point where it's like I literally just dove head first. I feel like, I say like, I feel like I got like a master's degree level of knowledge in human design in months because it was like I was eating, sleeping and breathing human design because it finally, when you feel seen for the first in your life.
Yeah.
That's like an intoxicating feeling. Right. And the coolest thing was it wasn't even anyone else seeing me. It was me seeing myself in my power for the first time ever.
Yeah.
You can't just not see yourself after that, right?
Yeah. I love that you're like, oh, no, wait, it was everything. Yeah, Everything in there. And yeah, projectors are known to like deep dive into systems as well. Like, once we find that one that we want to hop on board to, we're like, oh, let me just dive deep into it. So it sounds like there are a lot of like, super easeful projector lessons for you. Were there any that were just really hard or like sour or bitter to bite into?
Well, yes, of course. Right. There's duality in everything. Right. Especially the essence. You know, I'm an emotional authority. And even just learning that changed my life because I always have. Right. All emotional authorities, you know, we have this immediate, like emotional reaction towards something, you know, positive or negative, but it's there. It's like all of the emotion backed by it. And previously, you know, the passionate person that I am, I would just act on that emotion or say the thing or whatever that then, you know, sometimes would lead to regrets or me being perceived and an incorrect way. Right. Or my heart not being seen in the way that I meant it. And so that piece alone was like, oh, wait, okay, let me wait to get to emotional neutrality before I say the thing or make the decision. I was like a little furious because I'm like, no, I don't like the time for that. Like, how am I just going to like, wait around until I Have neutrality. Like, I was like annoyed about that. Right. So I would say that's the thing that made me like a little bitter at first, but was the catalyst that absolutely changed everything for me because just learn to work with pure energy rather than in resistance to it. Everything becomes in higher alignment and it. And it feels easeful and you feel and you feel seen because you're letting yourself be perceived in your truest form.
Yeah, Yeah, I love that. And it almost feels like your 35 profile, like kind of helped lead you in the path of human design in so many ways too. Just from the stories you've been sharing of like, you're like, well, let me just try it on. Let me just see if it's a good fit. Let me just see if this gives me a solution. And I feel like that just like created this easable pathway for any. And that's what I love about profile. I feel like it just opens a pathway for us of like, if I just lean into these things. Would you say you were like leaning into the one a little bit more before, which is more of like the investigator side of things?
Yes, definitely. Which is, which is really interesting because I am such an investigative mind.
Yeah.
But where think my 3 really shines through is that I actually don't overthink things. Even though I am such an investigator. I just dive head first. I trust my, my intuition and I trust the pull and I just go for it and I try it on an experiment and then I use, you know, the whole three line. Like, I live and I learn and a lot of things I then regret because it's exactly what it needs to be. But I learned the hard way. I am the person that has to learn things the hard way. I got to do it. I've got to see how it feels for me. Right. If somebody just tells me like, you know, in classic, if a one line were to be like, oh, Danielle, like, you know, don't do that because it's going to lead here. I'd be like, yeah, I'm just going to try it anyways.
Right.
That's the three, you know, we, we have to learn by doing it.
Yeah. Yeah. What like brought you from maybe leaning into that one a little bit to like, oh, I'm just gonna like leap in and give some things a try and experiment, you know, I think it's.
Like the quote unquote pain of where you are. Right. It's like, okay, well this is not working for me, so I want to switch things. Yeah, right. Like some people sit in their pain. I don't. That's ridiculous to me, right? I'm just like, okay, I know. What can I do? What can I try to get out of this and get where I want to be? Right? And I think that's just, you know, chalk it up to a lot of different things.
I love that you're like, okay, no. Yeah, we're not doing that. Absolutely not. I feel like, like, intuition is such a huge theme in your design in general. I feel like you have, like, the 44 in your conscious son, which is just like, knowing and having this, like, powerful instinct of the potential of all those around you, which is speaking of things we do naturally, just what you do so naturally. And I just feel like you are such a living embodiment of your gift, and it seems so effortless for you. If there's someone out there that is, like, sitting in that pain, and they're like, I don't even know how to move. They're, like, not feeling that, like. Like, I'm not here for it. Is there anything you would, like, say to them?
Yeah. Well, first of all, sometimes we. When we have been so disconnected from ourselves for such a long period of time, sometimes we don't know how to just get out of the pain. It's not as easy as, oh, well, this hurts too much. I have to do something else. Sometimes it's like, know how to do something else.
Yeah.
And that's normal. That is human existence. So sometimes it takes a mirror. It takes someone else to help us see what we can't see for ourselves. So if you're the person, find someone, whether it be a loved one that you really, really trust. That's in a. That has a. You know, where they are in life is somewhere where you want to be. Right. That can speak into you in a way that you can actually receive or hire the coach, hire the mentor. If that's an availability for you. Deep dive into allowing somebody to be that reflection for you, because that is where the deepest level growth is going to be. Because most of us are. Externally, we have, like, an external reward system. So usually we're going to move within ourselves unless we know we're being held accountable and unless we know we have to do it because we said we would.
Yeah. Yeah. I love. I feel like this is not only the 44, but you also have the 2644 channel in your design. My husband has this in his design as well. And I think projectors that have this channel are so, so cool. So if anyone listening doesn't know what the channel is. It's kind of all about sales, persuasion, and, like, serving the collective as a whole. Just like, it's like, natural way of, like, assessing others and then matching them up with what they might need. And I feel like the way you just gave voice to that is that, like, it's just like, find your match. What's going to meet your needs.
Exactly. Yeah.
Yeah.
It gets to be that easy, actually.
Yeah, it does get to be that easy. I know this. It's so like that and like, what we were talking about at the beginning of the conversation of just like, it's wild what can happen when you decide to just be you. A lot of times people are like, but that sounds so simple.
And in that too, I find this a lot with people that have defined will centers versus ones who don't. Yeah, I have a defined will center. So for me, it's way more natural for me to be able to take those next steps because I have the will to do so, like, just innately. Right. I don't really have to force myself. Like, that's very. Just innate who I am. Yeah, but if you don't have a defined will center, it might be more difficult for you. So. No, if that center is open for you, you need someone to help you. It's going to be what you don't need. You can always do through your own human resilience. But it's gonna be way easier for you if you have someone help guide you out of it, who can lead you there, who can keep you accountable, because your willpower is not always going to be there. So just know that. Don't fight against it. Just know, hey, that's who I am. I'm the type of person. I need external accountability. And if you know that, then just get that.
Yeah, yeah.
That's such a great tip.
Because I have an open will center, and I see that play out in myself all the time. And just pulling it back to my husband having that same channel, which means he has a defined will center. I have an open one. I see that if we're working on a project together, like, he's like, has all this motivation, just. Just this drive to go. And he's like, are you coming with? And I'm like, like, what are we doing? Where are we going and why?
Totally. I so get that.
Yeah.
What a beautiful partnership.
Yeah. Yeah. That's something else I love about design. And actually, one of the things that drew me into design is how we can learn about others and how we can be in like, aligned partnership with each other and lead in our own unique and sacred ways. Yeah. Yeah. I love it. I'm curious what you would note or say is the difference between that internal will that you have defined with the will center versus like the sacral center being defined. Because all projectors are going to have an undefined sacral center.
Yes. I love this question. So with the sacral center, this is really going to come from a desire, right? So your will is going to come from something that you want to do because it feels exciting and it's, it feels desirable for you versus having a defined will center. You're going to do the thing even when it's not fun, even when it's not exciting, even when it's not desirable because you've committed to it. Right. And that's really the big distinction there.
Yeah. Yeah. I love that. I, I, it's fascinating just like seeing those little kind of unique and like nuanced differences within our design and how we can move as well. Yeah, it's so cool. I'm curious about your undefined identity center. I don't know why that one stood out to me, but you did chat a little bit about how you've kind of like, you've worn a lot of hats. You were an oncologist or an oncology nurse, right? Yeah, oncology nurse. You were in clinical psychology. Now doing human design has, and I thought undefined identity center kind of like played a role in like, letting you be a little fluid in it all.
Definitely. I totally believe that's the case because I'm not really, I'm not really gonna have one thing that I do for the rest of my life. Like, it's gonna be the umbrel of helping people because that's my purpose. Right. How that evolves is going to be different. Right. Like, I, you know, I started out in nursing, then clinical therapy, then a medical executive, then a spiritual entrepreneur, you know, helping people with human design. A writer, an author, speaker. Right. Throughout my life. Right. That's going to, that theme is going to be there, but it's going to evolve and be fluid throughout my life. And, and I'm excited about that. Right. And at first that's something that I very much, I think because of my will, by my defined will set on something, I'm like, this is it, the end. Like, you know, but that can actually, that's the shadow side of that is actually can stifle me from evolving if I feel like, oh, nope, this is the path that I said I can't possibly do anything else. It's like, no, actually you can. Right. And that's the. I think the beauty of the dynamic between the open identity and the defined will going hand.
I love the. The concept of that. I've been chatting a lot recently with clients of like. Like, our centers aren't designed to work in segmentation. Like, they're not designed to work alone. They're designed to work together. And so I love that super tangible example of that. Do you find that you help or guide a lot of people who are maybe feeling that, like, resistance on being super fluid with the. Their role, their identity, whatever it is?
Totally, absolutely. And it's usually funny too, because when people find me, they're in the middle of a transition where they're like, can't do this anymore, but I said I would and I have to because blah, blah, blah, right? And it's like, okay, well, let's just actually look at what's in store for you. Like, let's pull up your design. Let's see how you're to move through the world. Let's see where this resistance is coming up for you. Right? Because it's there. It's all there.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's so fascinating because I feel like with the undefined identity center, like, you can truly be that, like, person who can just step into someone else's shoes and be like, let's look at the perspective. And when that meets, gosh, your projector energy of the bird's eye view and the guide, there's just. Just so much magic.
Agreed. Thanks. Thanks for seeing me.
Of course. I know you have a framework, the hot framework. Right. I'm curious how this kind of supports this journey that you kind of take people on as well.
Yes. Okay. So the HOT method stands for honest, open, transparent. It correlates the mind, the body, and the spirit. And I believe in. In order for us to come into clarity, we need to examine things from a mindfulness standpoint. You know, from our mindset, from our spirit, our intuition, as well as our body and our somatic awareness. Until we have an awareness on all three of those levels, we're usually still feeling one step away from clarity. And sometimes we're focusing on the wrong thing. Sometimes we're focusing on mindset. You know, we're saying all the affirmations in the world, believing, blah, blah, blah, and things aren't shifting. Why? Well, maybe because we have trauma stored in our body that is not allowing us to believe the affirmations that we're speaking. So we Got to release that somatically so that we can believe that mindset. Maybe our mind and our intuition are totally on board. We believe all the things, and our intuition's like, this is the way to go. But if we have trauma stuck in our body, we're not taking those actions. Why? Because there's something we need to release first. Right? So kind of that whole essence of getting mind, body, and spirit on board and then looking at everything from the totality of who we are, from her human design and our gene keys, right? And then seeing from there what is in store for us. Because if we aren't clear first around, like, all that other stuff and we're not getting the gunk out of the way, so to speak, then even when we're looking at our design, it could be tainted. We could be looking at it from the lens of our trauma or our wounding, rather than seeing it as the permission slip of who we really are.
I love that. I love that you've taken all of these incredible tools and, like, put them in this blend together that feels, again, easeful. What a theme within everything you do of just like, oh, I can have these tools in my toolkit and I can use them all to come back to me.
Well, and that's really. It came about for my three line, right? Like, I didn't just come up with this overnight. Like, this was from, you know, working when I developed this, I had already worked with, like, over a hundred clients at that point and noticed the themes of the ones that were really making progress and momentum and nothing was stopping them versus the ones that had all of these things. Things stopping them despite them knowing and being clear on what they wanted. So being able to see the patterns, I was able to say, oh, okay, here's how we get out of that. Here are the things that we have to address, right? Learn that by working with the clients, right? Which is just speaking to my three line, right? Like, it's the trial and error of seeing patterns and complexity, which is also speaks to my incarnation cross, which you and I happen to share, right? The writing go across of the four ways. And that I think that speaks to that. Right? We're able to. To see. Okay, we're able to see the patterns. We're able to see where the complexities are. We're able to examine and come with this level of sensitivity of what people need intuitively and being able to present that in a way where people get it right. And you do that so beautifully. I've seen that in you too, Even in Listening to your podcasts, right? In your sessions with people, and the way you explain things. And you can hear the light bulb moments happening, right? Because you're. You're spinning it into a way where maybe people have never heard it like that before. Right? And when you say it, it hits and it lands.
Yeah. Oh, my gosh. This takes us, like, full circle back to this concept of collaboration over competition. Like, we both have this spin on clarity, and there's so many unique ways that we each show up in that clarity piece that comes through in our design in so many ways. And, like, you have your clarity currents, which I love the title of so much, where you get to share that intuitive gift that shines through in your design in so many various ways, shapes and forms. It's such a permission slip for everyone listening to, like, just be you. Like, it doesn't matter if someone else is doing it, or it doesn't matter if someone. If there's something out there, like it. Because you are the magic, Right?
You are the magic. Yes.
Yeah. Oh, my gosh. It's so true. Okay. I feel like we've, like, super nerded out on human design people. I hope people are still with us. They're like, wait, wait, wait. Where are all these numbers? Where are all these lines? Where are all the gates? Right. Where are all the things? But I mean, really, like, what I always say is, it's all just coming back to you, right? It's all just remembering yourself, remembering who you are. And I feel like, like, you have made that so clear in this conversation today of, like, all of the ways that you were already doing all these things, and then it was just, like, remembering and, like, putting it into action. Right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I feel like that's probably a big theme for you as well. Like, when I was looking at your chart, too, it's just like, there's so much coming through. There's so much coming through for you, too, around that Even though you're 4, 6, the 6 piece is so much around your lived experience and how you guide others based on where you've been as well. Have you seen that being a theme for you in your work?
Oh, gosh, yes. And when I resisted 100%. The 6 is one that I've really. I've been really leaning into and experimenting with, really, within the last year or so, which also makes sense because I'm just entering the second phase of my sixth line. And so there was this part of me that was like, I just stepped off a roller coaster. Do I get Back on the roller coaster, do I just watch the roller coaster, like, ride along the way? What do I do now? Because it says stepping into that second phase. They call it like the on the roof phase. Right. And you come from this, like, truly a roller coaster of all the lessons and all the things, and then you're settling into now, what do I do with this? So I would say this is like something that I'm really just leaning into and just experimenting with and just letting shine through in so many ways.
Oh, that's exciting.
Yeah, yeah, it feels exciting most of the time. And sometimes I'm like, what is this?
No, I get that. I totally get that.
Yeah, yeah, it's. It's very interesting. As someone who you have your five on your unconscious side, how do you see your kind of like guidance and leadership showing up with that five, which is more of like providing these grounded, practical solutions, like, can be projected on quite often. How do you show up in your powerful leadership with that five line?
Yeah, So I just say the things, right. I realize that everything, really, the things that I share are coming from an intuitive and embodied lived experience. So I think that's really powerful. And I just share the things, realizing that they're inevitably when I share, there's going to be people that aren't going to get it. They're going to think I'm totally cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs and that's okay. And then there's going to be people, I always say with five lines, there's going to be people that you are fiercely for and they're going to find you, but they're not going to find you if you're not sharing your stance and giving those practical solutions. I always like to see my clients tell me I make a spiritual practical. So I've just leaned into that and I'm like, yeah, right. Things like human design and gene keys and spiritual gifting, all of those can be very, like, intangible, you know, real type of things. But it's like, you know, I am all about making it practical. So even in human design, like, I'm not one that's just gonna, you know, make. Make some sort of carousel on Instagram about, like, what a two line means. I want to know how do you leverage your two line in your marketing and your business? Business. Right. For example. Right. Like making it super practical into the nuances of our life. Because I'm a why person. I'm like, why does this matter? How can I use it? I don't really care about knowing it if I Can't apply it. Right. And so I think that's really where my five line shines through. It's like, let's get practical and tactical with things.
Yeah. This is so cool for anyone listening who's a business owner and, like, considering how you're showing up in your marketing, the nuanced difference between your five and my six, where there are, like, these personal lessons that are shared with the six, there's this, like, bird's eye view, there's this big picture. I don't have a lot of interest in, like, drilling it into, like, what is, like, the tangible, practical. Like, that's the five gifts. And it's so cool to hear this, like, live in action, like, what these nuance differences are. Right, Right.
I love that you made that point. That's so true. Because you and your four six, like, you being the four, you know, is all about the community. Right. The connection that you're building with people, which is perfectly perfect example, is through your podcast. Right. And having conversations, easeful conversations that then spotlight the beauty of someone's design, which is your six. Like, you're pulling out, you're just seeing, you're observing, you're seeing, and you're showing it in a beautiful way. Right. And then versus, you know, with my five line, I'm like, okay, let's apply this to the nitty gritty of your relationship or the nitty gritty of your team dynamics of your business. Right. It's like getting super tactical with it. And that's how I'm designed. And you're designed to really just show the big picture mirror that gives somebody this, like, freaking amazing light bulb moment that then they go apply the nitty gritty in their own way.
Yeah.
And so I love it. It's so cool.
I feel like your energy is just, like, sparking us all of, like, let me just lean in a little bit more. Let me just lean into the gifts. Yeah. So, so much magic. I also, I want to touch on at least one more of your channels in your chart, which was the 1949 that really caught my eye, which is all about companionship and this, like, natural strength and holding the community together, holding the family together, just, like, naturally connecting others through joy and happiness, which, hello, you're doing that to everyone listening right now in this conversation. But also, I've just seen that you're like this really natural glue inside of a community space because we're in a shared mastermind, the mixer mind together. Do you feel like that companionship piece has always kind of been present with you and your life and your work.
Work. I believe so. Yeah. I just love the connection piece with people. And it's interesting, like being a business owner, because most business owners are always thinking about connections as like a business. Right. And making money or a sale. And I don't. I literally. That is the furthest thing from my mind. I want to know, like, can we just connect as humans? Right? Like, how can I see you? How can you see me? If something further develops, cool. But let's just let it happen. Right? And I think just like, you know, seeing people where they are, meeting them where they are, I love the connection piece. I'm such. Even though I'm not a four line, I love feeling like I can see others. They can feel seen in my presence and loved in my presence and being able to connect in ways that maybe normally we wouldn't. Right. Which is all. Which is the essence of companionship. Yeah, Right. And, you know, creating those dynamics where I think we are all in this world so much more alike than we are different. And when we just let our guards down and we're just vulnerable, when we can just allow ourselves to be seen, it creates this depth of connection that is so life changing. And I'm here for that.
Yes, as a four, I'm definitely here for that. And it's so cool to hear you give it voice in this way. And you touched on something that I feel like a lot of people ask about human design, which is. Is, you know, what if I hear something like the 4 profile, and I'm like, well, that's me, but I don't have a four in my profile. It's that reminder that, like, there's so many layers in human design as well. Do you find that you see that a lot too? Like, someone might even be like, oh, I've been told I'm a generator, but I don't really like to be going, going, going all the time. And it's those, like, layers of design. Do you see that pop up a bunch too?
Oh, all the time. And I'll hear people be like, you know, and sometimes even, even clients will be like, oh, no, no, no, I'm a projector. I can't do that. I'm like, wait, wait, wait. Right? Like, let's look at like, right. Your type or your profile line is one little, tiny little piece of the huge, expansive, you know, landscape that is you. So we to look at everything, right? Just like you and I are projectors. We still are. We are so alike and we are so vastly different in the way of how our gifts show up in the world. Right. And how we leverage those. So, yeah, we have to look. And this is. This is the beauty of finding, you know, an amazing human design expert who can guide you into uncovering the essence of you because it goes far beyond just one aspect of your profile.
Yeah, that's so true.
That's so true. I love hearing you say that, too. Okay, I have two more questions for you. Unless we just go down another rabbit hole of something which totally could happen. Is there anything else. I know you have my chart pulled up. Is there anything else you just, like, noticed or stands out that you want to give away voice, too, before we come to a close today?
Yes.
Yes.
I love your chart. I mean, for so many reasons. I mean, we could go on for hours about how amazing your chart is, but what I thought I saw some cool similarities here that I see in you, like, from, like. Like knowing you from listening to your podcast or reading your emails. And what I thought was cool was your awareness arrow is active. So you. You literally create as you learn, right? As you're experiencing something, you share it with the world, and you embody it as you are learning it. It's so real time for you, which also really speaks to your six line. And I. I hear that when I'm listening to you, right. In your podcast. And things that you share, which I think is so cool. It's so beautiful about your design. And when I was looking at, what stood out to me was your South Node, which is indicated. Think of your inherent gifts, maybe, that you, you know, possess from potentially past lives or, like, years of wisdom that you've collected, which I like to look at the South Node for our basically, like, our ultimate, like, competitive advantage in a way, because it's so innate to who we be that we sometimes don't even realize it. And for you, it's gate 15, line 2, which 15 is the gate of extremes. But what this means is, like this. You are here on Earth to basically not be consistent, to allow yourself to go with the ebbs and flows of extremes and find rhythm in life. So therefore, how you help your clients is you help your clients become grounded and sovereign so that no matter what is happening in their life, no matter if they're in their biggest, you know, trial storm or their biggest joy, they can go with the flow. They can know who they are. And that's so inherent to you that you might not even articulate it in that way because it's so inherent to you. But I see that as like your biggest superpower because that's what you've had to learn, to just be in the present moment and let yourself ebb and flow, which also speaks to that six. So you helping others find that peace and that sovereignty in their life, no matter what, is like, like your superpower.
Yeah. Oh, my goodness, this is so good. You have such a gift in like diving into those like, details of a design that's. I think on one hand I think you're five that you were talking about earlier of just like these really grounded, like practical pieces. And on the other hand, I feel like your incredible toolkit with like Gene Keys and everything else probably gives you that zoom in a little bit more.
Yeah, it's cool because I love just like looking at a chart and then just seeing like, where am I drawn to right away? And that's what I did with your chart. And there's a couple of other things I would love to touch on to just you and what you do in this world and your genius. So I also popped out to me was your Uranus line, which is your quirks and your secret sauce. Right. Why somebody would maybe resonate with you over someone else.
Yeah.
And it's gate 38, line 6, which is the gate of the fighter. But the energy of this is that you fight for things that have a meaning and a purpose. You fight for what you believe in. So this is all about perseverance, making meaning from like struggle to triumph. Right. Being discerning. So your secret sauce is that you're probably going to be able to see things that other people aren't going to be able to see. You're going to be able to see patterns where other people see comparison complexity. And you're going to be able to say it in such a, like effervescent, like, all knowing way again that it just hits people like, oh, I never thought of it like that before. Right, yeah. Because your perspective is like lasered in.
Wow. I feel like I need to be like taking notes right now. That feels so true. And, and I so often will like. And I think this is partly like the activations that I have in my throat center. Like something will come through and my clients will be like, wait, what did you just say? Can you repeat that? And I'm like, I have, I have no idea. I have no idea what it was.
Well, no, that's so true because. Especially because you have a defined throat center with your Mercury gate being gate 33, which is like the gate. The gate is quote Quote, unquote, the gate of privacy. But you learn lessons from the past. So when you hear yourself, yourself speak, you channel when you're speaking. So I would imagine this also has a huge thing, a huge leeway for you with your self projected authority, right? When you can speak things out loud and come to the realization of your desire, boom, it hits you, right? So similarly, other people, when you are speaking something out, you're channeling what someone needs from the depth of your intuitive perspective that you wouldn't be able to just like, come up with otherwise. It has to kind of be in the moment as you're. You're seeing it, and that's your superpower.
That's so fascinating because literally this morning in my journal practice that I was doing, I was journaling around this idea of like, of not being a channel. So it's fascinating that this is coming up.
Oh, interesting.
Because it is a reminder that, like, oh, wait, no, we all channel in different ways. Where I feel like you're showing this gift. Where I feel like you really have this gift of like, channeling and you just like, intuitively pick things up with just what we were talking about with the 2644 earlier and your projector energy in general, just like really being pointed and being able to see someone so well. That is what I've maybe always considered to be a channel, but I've never considered my voice to be a channel. Do you that make sense?
Totally. Yeah, it makes total sense. But it is for you, right? And the biggest thing about your voice being a channel is it's in the moment, right? It's in. It's in the moment of a conversation. Like you're gonna channel something with me right now that if you were to just like, preemptively before this podcast, think about what you were gonna say, it wouldn't come out, but it will come out in the moment through your voice.
That. That is. Cause I, I don't prep for any of these podcast interviews. Spoiler alert for anyone listening.
No, that's. That's so in alignment for you, Megan, because you are going to have the most profound truth when you're in the moment of the conversation. So key for you.
Yes. And anytime I try to prep, I'm like, oh, my gosh, this is so stressful. If I, like, try to write questions down, I'm like, I have no idea. The conversation could go so many directions. This is so powerful.
I love that. And last but not least, the thing that, like, really stood out to me too, is also your Jupiter Line, which is how create and attract abundance. And for you, it's literally gate 64, line 3, which 64 is the gate of confusion. But what this is about, it's about using imagination and creativity to transcend confusion. So what this would tell me about you is that you are here to be a dreamer, because when you dare to dream, you. Your mind is literally creating abundance because it's tapping into another dimension where you have exactly what you want, want. So for you, dreaming and having the spaciousness to just dream and visualize and ideate is really going to be the key, that it's going to allow you to attract any type of abundance that you want into your life.
Speaking to my soul. I just had a Reiki session on Friday and she was telling me that spirit guides were saying I need to spend more time connecting with my vision. Like, I have been disconnected from the biggest big vision.
Yep.
And that is like the key. So here's that message again for me right there in my design.
In your design. Isn't that amazing? Like, you create magic when you give yourself the space to just dream it.
Oh, my goodness. That's like a breath of fresh air for me.
Right. And even more permission as a projector to create all that space. Right. Create the space where you can dream. Right. And have that time.
Yeah. What a gift. I did not expect you to go into, like, so many incredible details of my design. This was truly such a gift. Pulling out so much magic in there. If anyone listening is like, I. I want Danielle to pull out that magic in me. Like, is this something you do with people?
It is.
Yeah. Yeah. Tell us more. Like, how can people find that?
Yeah. So I do offer like one off, like, in depth readings. I love working long term with people because I. It's one thing to understand the magic versus embody it and know how to apply it, but sometimes we just need some clarity and then we can get on our own way. Which is why I think the power of one off session sometimes can be so palpable. So, yeah, I do offer that in all different types of ways. In terms of, like, if there's really specific things that you want to do, I have like an a la carte type of system where we can just pick and choose what you want to look at or the whole shebang. And we can look at all the things.
Yeah, yeah, the whole shebang. I love it. So good. Oh, my goodness. Okay. That was magical. I'm gonna, like, relisten to this and soak it all in. Is there anything else you want to give voice to. For someone who's maybe feeling stuck finding their gifts, maybe feeling a little disconnected from their own innate gifts, is there anything you want to give voice to to those people?
Yeah. You know, usually when we're feeling disconnected, it's because we've been out of touch with ourselves for a long time. We've probably been putting ourself on the back burner and not giving ourselves the space to go within. We've probably been putting everybody else first. So I would say create some space for yourself. Take the time, whether it's, you know, somebody like you to dream. Right. Whether that's like going to the beach and just walking the beach and dreaming and just ideating. But spend some time where you can actually hear yourself, where you can tap into your desires, you can feel like what is calling to you because you probably just haven't given yourself the space to do so. So. And if you do and you're still feeling confused, get out and help. Right. And, you know, whether. If you have the means to be able to hire a coach or a mentor or a strategist, someone that can help you see what you can't, do it, do it, do it. It will change your life. And if you can't, find a trusted friend, somebody that knows you and loves you, that can just talk with you. Right. Have this open dialogue around, you know, especially somebody that can ask you questions to help. Help pull out the clarity that you obviously aren't able to have for yourself in that moment. And that's a real thing. Sometimes we get in those. Those moments. Right. Don't make it mean anything about yourself. You're just being a human. Have your human experience and seek. Seek the support that you need. It gets to be easy.
Yeah. I love it. Such a beautiful note to end on. Thank you so much for all of your wisdom today, all of the gifts, gifts that you gave me, and also inspired with everyone listening as well. I'm so grateful for you.
Oh, Megan, thank you. Thank you for seeing me and your beauty and wisdom and everything that you shared about what you saw in my chart, too. I'm just so excited that we got to do this and show in real life that we can be in the same field. We can both be human design experts and we can collaborate.
Great.
And it doesn't take away from either one of us. It gets to add the expansion of our mission in the world.
