Welcome to the Clarity corner, where you'll discover how to unlock and express the most authentic version of you and realize.
That this is exactly what you were.
Looking for the entire time. I'm your host and your coach, Megan Siemens. Now let's make some magic happen. Hello, my friends. Welcome back. Welcome to session two with Jessica today. We're having a bit more of a human design session today, so it's a little bit more informative. And along the way, I drop some tips for all of the different energy types and strategies that we run through. You're gonna hear how Jessica gets into alignment with her design and, and how she really honors her mind along the way. So if you're new to human design, I do have an intro episode that I'll drop in the show notes so you can kind of learn the basics about human design. There's also a link in the show notes to pull your chart for free. And if you're brand new to human design, basically human design is a tool to really help you align with how your energy is designed to operate with the most amount of ease. And it's a tool that I really integrate into all of my coaching series. With Jessica, we've sat in human design sessions before. She's been experimenting with her design for a little bit, so she knows a lot of the bits and pieces and she's actually done some of her own studies as well. And one of the huge parts of human design is what is called deconditioning, which is basically reframing, rewiring how your energy was taught to be. And a lot of it is learning what it is to be in your body, while also honoring the amazing awareness that your mind has and the amazing power that your mind has. And Jessica, I feel like, really goes through a lot of processes today where she's really honoring the harmony between both her mind, body, and energy.
I guess that's more than both.
All three. Between the mix of all of the wisdoms we have in ourselves, we also cover and go into how to get in touch with our authority. Our authority is our inner decision making process. And so with Jessica, we explore kind of when to tune into your authority and just consider what it really feels like to be there versus making a decision based on our mind or comparison or what other people are doing or what's working for other people. We cover some practices to get back into body and connect with self. Jessica is a generator, and so connecting with body is such a vital practice for our generators. And I find that all of the other energy types so Myself, I'm a projector. I find it's always so powerful to listen to how a generator aligns with their body. So I feel like there's so much wisdom to be heard from Jessica today, and she shares some practices is that she loves and what it feels like. And at the end, there's some really beautiful reflections from how Jessica is already seeing her design show up. She kind of entered this session with, like, I need some answers, and came to this really beautiful realization of how it's already here and where. Where she's kind of been in force or in pressure. And I feel like that gives all of us a bit of permission to reflect on how we're already on track, even when we feel like we're off track. How often do we do that? Whether it's our energy or something we're really working on, how often are we, like, I'm not there yet. I'm not there yet. I'm not there yet. And so giving us all a little bit of permission to reflect on. Okay, well, there's still growth to be had here, and how am I already supporting the vision that is coming to life that I'm already committed to? So let us all sit back and enjoy today's episode with Jessica.
Well, hi. You're here.
How are you?
Hi. Yay. I am excited. I'm excited.
Yeah.
I love that word.
So good. Well, do you have your lighthouse statement handy? I always like to check in with it as we get going. It's okay if you don't. You maybe will get it memorized at some point. We'll see.
Oh, I do.
I'll have you read it out loud, and then that's okay. I'll have you read it out loud. And then if you just want to share how you're feeling with it in a few words.
Helping in color Community is built and expanding. Feeling excited. Maybe that's the word for today. Yeah. So, like, reading it and. And then saying it out loud just feels really exciting.
Yeah.
Especially because there's been, like, so much conversations around it this week through Voxer.
Yeah.
From, like, lots of different feelings.
Yeah.
Like nervousness and overwhelming. What and how. And all the things. So to. And I have, like, minimal expectations. Like, I'm trying to come in with minimal expectations for today.
Yeah.
Because I have no idea what. What it's going to look like. I know it's going to be beautiful. Of course, whatever it is. So to be able to read it and, like, feel the excitement is cool.
Yeah. Yeah.
Especially after the week, you really have gone through like a lot this week. Emotionally. There's just been a lot of emotions that have come up. But also you've done a lot of action. So just to like catch people up, you did the full business inventory. You've started mapping out potential membership tiers. You've also had some big lessons come up in your current like free private community space. I mean there's been a lot. And you've also, I think most recently landed on doing a coloring challenge which is very connected to your books. How does that still feel?
It still feels exciting and nerve wracking and exciting.
Okay. I now we have the nerves with the excitement. We love that excitement zone. So what would feel really good for you to lean into today in this session?
I thought about this so many times and then I was like, I know that it's going to change once again the session to like to decide on something. It's silly. I think I want to lean into human design.
Okay.
I think that feels like really aligned to be aligned.
Yeah, let's, let's just do a body check with that too to make sure it's not just mind. Like, like, yeah, I want these, these answers through human design. Like that sounds really great for anyone. Right. But let's just do a body test, see if that feels really true for you today. So.
Okay, deal. Love it.
Jessica's like, I'm here for it. Deal. Let's go for the ride. Okay. If you want to close your eyes or if you want to gaze down, whatever feels good for you right now, this is all about connecting to yourself and calling forward. That energy of coping and colorful community is built and expanding. Just taking a breath as that lands in and noticing where you're at and where that statement is at and then feeling the space in between the two. Noticing what feels like the curiosity that's present today. Trusting exactly what's coming through, even if you don't know why it's here today. Taking as long as you need right here, taking a few deep breaths.
And.
Whenever you're ready in your own time, you can come on back to the.
Screen and voice what feels true. This is such a simple practice that you can use anytime you feel like you just want to do a quick check in with your direction. So I talked a lot in the.
Intro about the mind, body, connection, all.
Of the wisdom we have within ourselves. And so if you're ever like, well, how do I even know if it's my mind or if it's my heart leading me? How do I know if I'M going the right direction. This practice we did right here, it took about a minute, if not less than a minute. All you have to do is land with a breath. Notice where you are. Notice where your energy is. Notice where it is. It being the thing you're exploring, exploring. And if you have more than one thing that you're considering, take it just one at a time and just notice how connected am I, how disconnected am I, what am I curious about? See if the thing that you're leaning into or multiple things, if they live in a certain place in your body, just, like, really trust what comes up. Again, just set a timer for about a minute. This doesn't have to be long. And this really allows you to just see what's mine, what's mine. And is there anything I need to let go here? So let's see where Jessica lands.
Okay, so I checked in with something else we talked about during the week with fear. And so I kind of. There was nothing that was, like, screaming at me through my body. So I just, like, checked in with, like, fear and then human design, because those were kind of the two potential topics for today. And human design won, which I'm very excited for, because that's the one I wanted to win.
I love it.
Fear was just kind of like, yeah, we're good right now. Like, we don't need to. Which is, you know, I'm happy about that. And we will touch base with it when we need to.
Yeah. Yeah.
I love this. It feels very grounded. It feels very landed. Normally, I'd have you dig into the fear a little bit more, but we've done so much on the in between. It actually just feels super grounded for you right now in this moment. So when it comes to your human design, I'm not going to let you off the hook. Super easy here today. When it comes to your human design, what are you most curious to lean into today?
Everything.
We probably don't have time for that.
Not even a lifetime. There's so much in human design. So I'm thinking, okay, so there's, like, a piece of me that wants to, like, dig into, like, what offers, like, how to, like, create an offer that's best for human design. But then that doesn't. That's like. That's my mind speaking, not my body. My mind's like, figure out the offer. So I am aware of that and, like, a little cranky about that, but I am aware of that. And what's feeling most like for today's session is like, I think just to Me, like, for me to be, like, I'm really drawn to, like figuring out my business with human design. But I think it starts with myself on, like, how can.
Yeah.
And we've talked about this before, but I think maybe it's a reminder or, I don't know, deeper. I don't know what it looks like exactly, but I think just like, yeah, how can I be more aligned with my human design?
Yeah, yeah.
I, I love the consideration here too, and the, and the awareness around, like. Well, my mind wants to know if it can, like, tell me what offers to me. And there's this deeper layer, this heart part of you that knows as special as human design is, it's probably not going to hand you that answer on a silver platter.
Maybe a gold platter.
See what we can find. We'll see what we can find today. But what we do know to be true is that the more you lean into you, the more useful those answers become.
Yeah, yeah.
Like, just for a moment, before we even tap into your design, let's consider your books that came alive before you knew anything about human design. Is that true? Did you know anything about human design?
No. Yeah, I learned. I probably learned about it from you.
Yeah.
And I've been working with you before. I mean, from day one, maybe not, but my day one.
Yeah. Yeah.
And so if you did learn about it from me, you wouldn't have learned about it until probably 2020 ish. And I know your books came alive before that. And so just taking that moment to honor how easily those came alive and remembering that that's that focus point you want to stay safe, stay with as well. And so all this to say that.
Brings up a question.
Yeah, bring it in.
So with that said, if bringing in human design is like, to respond, we kind of, we kind of talked about this a little bit, but I, I think I need to dig deeper into it. It's like, am I living my human design? Like, are the books even the right thing I should be, should be focusing.
On even that right there Gives you a bit of an answer, doesn't it?
Yeah, I said I like that word.
Yeah.
Yeah. So let's talk about the generator response, because this is a piece that you have, I feel like, been leaning into a little curiosity around, like, am I using the response in the quote unquote correct way? And so my first reminder for you is going to be, we're going to get to know your response because your response might be different than the way other people experience it. So let's talk A little. Well, first of all, for everyone listening, Jessica is a generator in human design. If you haven't picked that up yet, Jessica's a generator in human design with an emotional authority and a 5:1 profile. And if you have no idea what any of that means, that's okay. We're learning it as we go as well. We're learning it here together. So the generator strategy is to wait to respond, and our strategy is how we best respond to life. It's kind of like your own unique dance and how. It's how we step into our quote unquote right opportunities, our most aligned next steps. So I think this is a really beautiful part to consider for you since everything you're stepping into right now is. Is this my right, my aligned next step? So the generator response is to wait for life to come to you as you answer life. And so I'm curious just even hearing that in its simplicity, you're waiting for life to come to you and you respond or answer to life. Just consider your books at the forefront. Do your books feel like they were a response to life?
Yeah, they were a response. I mean, that's an interesting one because they were also a response to death and life.
Yeah.
Well, gosh, isn't death a part of life?
Yes. You say it like that.
It's like one of the. It's one of the inevitables we all have in common.
Yeah. So I think I just. Like you said at the beginning, it's like that you worded it really well. The way that I viewed responding is like, someone says, oh, I wish there was a book out there that says that teaches me coping skills through coloring. And I'm like, done. I'm on it. When, like, that's not always realistic if it's something that I've created. So it's more me responding to the need for it 100%.
Like, that could be a definition for weight to respond in a human design textbook.
Yeah, I like that. That feels much better.
Yeah.
Because waiting for someone to just, like, knock on my door is like, I don't know, feels unrealistic.
Let's say it's somewhere between it is and it isn't.
Right.
Because in many ways it can feel like, a lot of pressure of like, oh, I'm just gonna, like, wait for someone to knock on my doorstep and ask me for the exact thing that I'm waiting for. That can feel like a lot of pressure because what are the odds? We're looking at probability versus possibility there. But we also believe that there's infinite possibility. So maybe it's not someone knocking on your door, but maybe there's someone listening to this episode right now. Like, oh my gosh, I need those books for my children. And so can you show up in the energy of what is. What was that light bulb? Just like, I want to hear what came up for you just then.
That was really cool. Like, that's very fair. And I've gotten that response a lot. Or like, I wish I had that when I was so. That is me responding. So then that gives me more like, I don't know the right word. Like, umph. There's a better word. So like, create more books because if. Yeah, yeah. That feels exciting.
Yes.
That, that right there. That like, I know I'm aligned and I'm going to continue on my path and it's going to just create more opportunities as I go.
So that ties into the community.
Tell me more.
Because if people, if people are responding, I need this book for my child. The community is like, I need this community for my family, for myself and my children. On regulating our emotions and having the tool.
Yeah.
How might you show up if you knew that every day.
Oh, I'd show up.
Period. End of story.
Yeah, exactly. I would show up aligned and like, feel, feel aligned and feel like I'm able to really be my whole unapologetic, authentic self. And it's. It's actually responding and to know and to have that confirmation from human design. Not that I need it, but it's nice. It's. It's energizing, knowing, like to feel aligned with my human design.
Oh, how good is that statement? It's energizing to lead through my design. I always say it's permission giving to lead through my design. All of our human design types have what I like to call. And I. I don't know that I dubbed this. I think other people might use this language, but I like to call it the subtle art of the weight. And all of our human design types have it in there. And all of us in life have the subtle art of the weight. We have to experience it at some point. We're always going to be in the in between in something in life. And that's all the subtle art of the wait is. And so for our generators, it's wait for the response, for our manifesting generators, wait for the response and inform for our manifestors to inform. Our manifestors are really waiting for the initiation to come through, the impact to come through. For our projectors, wait for the invitation and for our Reflectors, Traditionally, it's called wait. A lunar cycle. I like to often call it wait for clarity to reveal itself. All of these have that.
They have the word weight in them.
So the subtle art of the weight there. What we're really looking for in strategy, no matter what your energy type is, is where is there force? Where is there pressure? So where am I just trying to force through? Just make something happen before life has laid something out in front of me, or before a pathway has been revealed, or before I feel really seen in that opportunity. And I know that the language in all of the weight words, the language can sound like you're meant to wait it out for someone else to do something, which really couldn't be further from how any of us are designed. Sometimes it is, sometimes it is literally.
Another person in front of us.
But I find more often than not, there's an energetic invitation that happens in the weight. There's an attraction that happens in the weight. Most of all, there's a magnetism that happens in the weight. And all the weight is. Or the in between. Use whatever language you want. But all that is, is how much more ease can I create in this process? And what if I didn't have to force something to happen? What if I didn't have to feel pressure or stress? And what if I just notice where is my joy leading me? What am I magnetized towards? For generators, you're always responding. It's a constant response to life. And so sometimes the fear with the generator can be, what if nothing ever comes? But there is something on, always there. And you can also put yourself in the pathway of things to respond to. So an example of that outside of a business owner example, like we're sometimes exploring with Jessica, there's definitely some personal examples in here as well. But an example could be, let's say you are ready for a new career.
But you feel like nothing's coming to you.
There's nothing for you to respond to. Get yourself on some online job boards, go out to some networking events. You're putting yourself in the pathway of responses. Same with projectors. If you feel like the invitations aren't coming, you can put yourself in the pathway of places and spaces that feel really good. And I would say for projectors, it's often a practice in how can I see myself? What do I need to see myself for right now? Or what do I want to deepen into? Where am I called towards mastery? And so really, all we're looking for is how can I relieve some pressure here? And so what is the practice that feels like it'll support you in letting go of some of the excess?
It's like, oh, I know that feeling.
Yeah.
And now it's like, let me just come back to it.
Yeah, yeah.
The. I'm gonna stay on the response here for a little bit because it feels like it's gonna be really supportive. Even in the. The fear that's coming up a little bit. Like, it feels like it's gonna balance that out, because even that knowing right there of, oh, well, I'm just aligned. Like, I just show up able. I show up as my whole unapologetic, authentic self. Like, easy, like, fear. What are you even doing here? Like, we've got this. So let's stay with this response concept, because I want you to experiment with it a little bit this week too, and notice how often your response actually is activated and comes up, whether it's Corbin crying and you responding to that or knowing his needs, or it's a bird chirping and you're like, I want to go outside. Or it's an energetic response, but just noticing how often you actually are responding and how different it can be in the essence of. It's not always. Here is a question laid out in front of you. Now I'm going to respond. That can be super supportive for you, But I'd love for you to notice this week, like, how many kind of different types of responses come up. How does that feel for you?
Exciting. Fun. Yeah, I like that.
Yeah.
Even the. The response to rest, because that's something that's come up in the. In between time.
Yeah.
The head nods.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was loud.
Yeah.
And I tried not responding.
Yeah. Okay, so that was loud, and you tried not responding. How you define that loudness? Like, what was the feeling internally for you?
My neck. Like, I just. So I was, like, feeling, feels, and I was like, oh, I need to be productive in this time, and I want to focus on creating this offer that I don't know what it is yet, and I'm so limited on time, which I'm not, but I felt it. And then my neck, Like, I didn't do anything. Just my neck just decided to, you know, be super stiff and hurt really bad, and it just kept getting worse and worse and worse. And it was like, okay, body, I hear you. So I finally rested. Well, I. I noticed my words were like, oh, my neck hurts so bad. My neck's just getting worse and worse. I need to find a chiropractor asap because my neck is Turning more and more. And then I had, like, the aha moment of, of course it hurts more and more. I'm literally telling my neck it's hurting more and more, so I'm speaking it into existence. So I shifted that and said, my neck is feeling better and better every moment. My neck is healing and with the language shift and just like, surrendering and resting and turning on a TV show was really supportive, and I felt a lot better. And then I woke up the next day and was just like. And happy tears. I went from sad tears to happy tears.
Yeah. Yeah.
Like, can you even notice the cadence of when your mind is on? Of, like, we have to figure out.
The offer and this and that.
We don't have time to rest. Oh, my gosh. We don't have any time. Time is so limited. And it's like. It's faster pace, and it's like stacking, stacking, stacking. And then when you get in your body and you're like, what am I actually responding to? It's like, easeful. It's grounded. It's like, I'm just gonna focus on.
Getting better and better. Okay, great.
Now I'm gonna lay down and put.
A TV show on.
Okay, this feels amazing. It's just, like, easeful, and the cadence slows down a bit. So these are some of the cues you can look for this week as well. Just what does your body feel like?
Yeah, I did that yesterday because I meditate most mornings, and I was like, I don't really feel like meditating. So I just checked in with myself. I'm like, well, what do I feel like doing? And then I decided tapping, like, emotional freedom techniques was calling me, and I was like, cool, let's do that. And it felt so good. I love doing it, and I don't tap very often, so it was exciting.
Yeah.
Yeah, it can. Exciting is the theme of today, and we're here for it. We like that to be a generator connecting back to your body. And that's what tapping can really help you do, right? Connect back to connect. Connects you back to your body by tapping on those pressure points. To be a generator. Those exercises that can connect you back to your body are really powerful because it connects you back to that sacral response. So whether it's tapping or dance or just some movement rolling around on the floor, all of these can be really good for the generator energy.
I have a question about the sacral response. So if I'm emotional authority, how does that. What does that mean for me with sacral?
So Our authority is our decision making process, our internal decision making process. And so it kind of works in order of strategy, then authority. So strategy, wait for the response. So, okay, I have a response authority. Now I'm going to run it through my authority to see if it's true. The reminder I'll give you with your authority is your authority is really technically only designed for big decisions. So decisions that have to do with career location, relationships. Your authority is emotional, which at minimum we say sleep on it for the emotional authority. But what you're doing is you're riding that emotional wave out to neutral. So not making the decision when you're at a really high. Hi. Hi. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited. The theme of today, I'm gonna make a big decision in this heightened excitement. And then the next day you're like, I did not have any time for that. Like, what is going on? Why did I say yes to that? Or jumping out at the really low low. So like, oh, I'm down. This sucks. Everything is horrible. I'm just not gonna do it anymore. You jump out and the next day you're like, that was a little dramatic. So you're waiting for that neutral spirit spot. You don't have to do that every time you're figuring out what you want to eat or every time you're figuring out like the daily task that you, that you want to step into for your business. But where the emotional authority can be really handy is when you're figuring out those bigger picture things like your offers in your business. So I'm curious how often that has come into play as you've set up various offers in your business. Because we talked about in our first call and a little bit in between all of the offers you've kind of put out there. And we honor all of them and all of them had a purpose that has served really well. But I'm curious how often that emotional authority came into play with that.
I've definitely checked in with myself and some ideas, but like, I can't tell you specifics on which offer or like how, how much I checked in with myself.
Sure, it might be totally true for all of them. Like all of them. You might have felt it out into the space of clarity. It's just another curiosity to bring through. Does it make sense though, the, like, I'm going to wait for the response. Okay. Now that I've responded and I've noticed if I have the energy for it now, I'm going to sleep on it. Check in with how I feel. Does that make sense?
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah. I like that a lot. I didn't. I never fully understood, like, that. Those steps.
Yeah. Yeah.
Which I like.
So it's like checking in with that sacral buzz. Do I have energy for this? Yes. Great. Do I need to run it through my authority?
Okay.
Do I need to sleep on it?
Wonderful. I'll do that. Or do I have energy for this? It's a full body. No. Okay. No, not right now.
Yeah.
Yeah. Got me thinking about different things.
Yeah.
Anything you want to voice?
Well, like, there's a book club that I've been in, and then the person running it decided she's not doing it anymore, so I just was like, oh, I'll do it, and I probably need to sleep on it a little bit more before deciding to run a book club. And then. Yeah. I feel like my support group feels pretty aligned.
Yeah. Yeah.
I mean, I think these feel like two pieces for you to really experiment with over the next week of just, like, really noticing, like, how does that response show up? And then if there are any big decisions that come up, just noticing, like, what it feels like to tune into that emotional authority, to come to that space of neutral.
Yeah, the neutral piece gets me.
Tell me more.
Like, I don't know. I feel like I'm always. And that's. There's also, like, the waves or whatever they're called, you know, I'm talking about emotional waves, probably. Then there's, like, tribal and what is it like?
Yeah, I would say you're getting a little swept away into details.
Okay. Well, yeah, those ones are, like, really? So the neutral piece is, like, I don't know. Maybe I have to. I get to pay more attention to, like, when I'm neutral versus yeah.
Yeah.
Why does it feel, like, far away?
I guess, like, neutral. Like, there's, like, a piece of, like, seriousness. Like, I don't. I don't want to be serious. I want to be, like, fun and smiley and, like, that person that's like, oh, my gosh, every time I see jokes that she's smiling, and then I feel like neutral is just like. Like, that emoji with, like, the straight face. Like, yeah, serious. I mean, that's an emoji, but, like. Yeah. So, like, there's, like, that disconnect. I'm like, I don't want to be neutral. I just want to be like. And I'm fine. I'm. I'm happy being sad, too. Like, I'm happy being both ends of the spectrum. It's the Middle piece that I'm like, the neutral piece.
Yeah.
Well, let's clarify something here. Your emotions are your gifts. Your emotion is where the clarity is being created. You're going to have. That's the waves. You're going to have high highs, low lows, everything in between. You're going to have the feels, and those are your superpower, and those are where the clarity is coming through. What you're looking for is not. I'm going to be neutral all the time, and this is my gift. Absolutely not. Like, cancel. Cancel that idea out, because your emotions are your gift. Your emotions are your superpower. The neutrality is. Oh, I just know in a decision, like, I just know that it's here.
Okay. I'm trying to think of, like, a specific knowing, but I'll think about it.
Yeah. I love when we're playing with authority. I love going back to childhood for our authority. Because oftentimes. Well, I would say all the time.
Especially when we're little.
Little. We're great expressions of our design before conditioning comes in. And so maybe even considering sometimes when you were very little or young that easeful decisions happened and what that felt like. Does that feel like something you could tune into?
Yeah.
Yeah.
It sounds fun.
Yeah.
I don't know where to start yet, but that's okay.
Yeah. We're compiling an exploration for you today is what we're doing. I was working with a. Another client recently who had a little boy with an emotional authority. And she was talking about how he, like, his emotion would set the tone for the entire room, like, ever since she was a. He was a baby, like, if he was emotional, like, everyone knew it, and it was going to be the focal point of the room, and there would just be this huge release, and then it would go to this neutral point, and you could feel this sense of groundedness in the room. You could feel this sense of neutrality. And so I also am curious. What if neutral wasn't good or bad? I mean, neutral in itself doesn't have a charge. And so what if neutral didn't mean you were super serious or had this, like, I don't know, description with it? How would that feel for you?
I like the idea of it not having a charge.
Yeah.
That's a mindset shift that I get to work on.
Yeah.
It doesn't feel true for you. I'm. I'm so willing for you to be like, screw this, Megan. This sucks.
It feels. It feels like, can be true.
Yeah.
Like, it feels like I want to believe that it's true. And not quite there yet, but I want to, like, I would love for it to be neutral, uncharged. Yeah. I think maybe playing with other words like.
Yeah.
I don't know what those words are yet. I like the. I like grounded.
Yep.
Like that word that you used. But I feel like grounded has a charge. I don't know what the charge is, but it feels like that charge. Like, you just feel grounded. Like, grounded is the charge.
Okay. I'm here for whatever definition you want to give it. And I love swapping words out. Grounded actually feels very true for me in whatever. In a human design element. And so if grounded feels like the word, that feels good for you. So, you know, when I'm. When I'm making big decisions, I'm waiting for the time that I feel grounded.
Yeah, that feels really good. That feels really aligned. I have a tree that I keep staring at and it's like, very fitting.
Yeah, I love that actually, trees. Trees are such great tools to tune into our alignment because they have so many lessons in them. Specifically. Love it for this because how grounded is a tree?
Yeah, very grounded. The most grounded. I don't know. I feel like it's the most grounded.
Yeah. Yeah.
I have a grounding practice that's tree related that I'll send you as well for the week.
Yes, please. Thank you.
Okay, so we've covered your response. We've covered your authority. Do you feel closer to you now.
In the grounded sense? Yes. Like, I feel like that's something that I can. I can very much like. So I guess a quick question is, like, with the neutral or like the emotional responses, like, can I just, like, if I'm feeling really excited or really sad or whatever the emotion is, like, can I just ground myself and then have the answer, or do I have to sleep on it to feel grounded?
Well, I'm not going to give you an exact answer on that because I think human design is always coming back to you, so it's always going to be what feels right for you. The curiosity I would have in that moment that that's happening is am I trying to rush myself to grounding? Like, I think you can always trust that. Yeah, sure. Maybe you won't need to sleep on it. Like, maybe that is true for you. And I just think the question would be, am I trying to rush myself to a space of grounding in order to make something happen?
Yeah, probably most of the time. So on the rush topic.
Yeah.
What is. I'm like circling back to your question. Like, what is an action step? I Can take daily to come back to myself and to feel aligned and aligned with my human design.
I mean, I think you've already named a few in this call. And so noticing things, like when you want to go to eft, I would say noticing things that bring you back into your body, you have a lot of centers defined, so lots of internal energy flowing within you. And so just noticing, like, when you need release is what I would say. So whether that is. So something like eft, where you can tap into those pressure points in your body, Something like dance party. I know you love a good dance party that's going to move excess energy out of you. Just, like, shaking your arms, shaking your legs, like, just looking to move the excess energy out of you versus trying to logic with the excess energy, Trying to, like, talk it through or, like, sometimes we'll try and, like, negotiate with our own energy. We'll be in this internal battle within ourselves.
Interesting. Okay. Because I love talking things through. So maybe. Maybe first, before talking something through, doing EFT or baking or dancing, and then seeing what feels like it can still need to be talked. Yeah, I like that. That feels good.
That sounds like a grounded response from you.
Okay, I want to talk about this concept I just brought up a moment ago, which was negotiating with our own energy. This is such a common practice that we do when we're in a state of pressure.
And it's usually not as cut and dry as, like, a table negotiation that you would have, where you.
You're like.
You're not usually speaking it out to.
Yourself, but what you're doing is.
It feels kind of like you keep.
Running into the same wall over and over again.
And you're like, I thought that I.
Just tore this wall down yesterday. How did it get rebuilt?
And why am I just, like, slamming into it again? This is kind of a sign that we're negotiating with our own energy. It's when we're.
Even though we're exhausted, we feel like we're edging on burnout. We're like, well, I'm just gonna try.
And, like, throw one more thing out in my business.
I'm just gonna try, like, one more thing.
It's like that. I feel like it's that statement. I'm just gonna try, like, one more thing. Or, like, even though the conversation I've.
Been having in my relationship hasn't been working, I'm just gonna try it one more time.
Like, I feel like that's the energy. The negotiating with your energy. Negotiating with your energy has.
It's like I'm just gonna try it one more time. Just going to try it one more time. And that is such a sign to.
Come back to yourself. Whether as a generator, I find it's.
Come back to your body. So how can I connect back with my body? How can I ground myself into my body? It's often a, like, movement practice that.
Can be really beneficial for our projectors.
Again, I bring you back to how can you hone into your craft or. Or how can you hone into something you're really like, interested in right now?
Projectors energy can get really filled up.
When you deep dive into what you're just genuinely interested in.
Whether it is like reading a textbook cover to cover, which I did when I first started learning about human design, or you're really caught up in a fiction book.
I obviously love books over here. I am the child of two librarians. It doesn't actually have to be reading.
It could be like you want to.
Go outside and study a very specific tree. Whatever it is, that deep dive can really support your energy in those moments of negotiation. For our manifestors, often for our manifestors, it's coming back to rest, but it could be other things. For manifesters. Manifesters, I think the reminder for you is that you're just like, designed for freedom.
And so it's maybe not trying so.
Hard to figure it out or to do something new, but really come to.
Like, what does my energy need right now?
Which is really the question for everyone. Where do I need freedom right now? Maybe is a good question for manifestors to come to. For our manifesting generators, also, connecting with your body could be really good. But also considering is there a project that's expired? Like, often my manifesting generators are negotiating with their own energy when they're trying to see something through that's past its expiration date. And for our reflectors, I would say the two spaces to look for you.
Is one, your actual physical spaces. My reflectors are always like reorganizing their office, reorganizing their bedroom, finding somewhere new.
To sit, finding somewhere new to work. So it could be your space spaces, but also clearing for our reflectors.
So how can I. Whether it's energetically clear my space, my.
My energetic space, my mental, my emotional space, or how can I like, physically do that? So maybe it's. Maybe it's release work.
Maybe there's so many practices that could be there.
But I would say for you, it's. It's where. Where have I taken on excess?
That's not. Not mine.
And so just some practices to consider. If you're in that space of negotiation.
The brain is kind of winning.
The brain is like, we can figure this out. Like, we can. Just one more thing. We can figure this out. And instead it's, what if we just pause the negotiations for a moment, relieve some pressure, and then we came back to it all.
And I got to smile while I did it. So, like, I don't even have to be serious while I'm grounded. That's cool. Thanks, Megan. Thanks for that permission slip.
Yeah. Yeah.
I think this is.
So there's gonna be a lot of awareness exercises this week of noticing what that response feels like, noticing what neutral feels like, noticing how sometimes it has a smile, sometimes it has a giggle with it, and sometimes it may just be like, oh, yeah, it's just this very settled state. But noticing what that state of groundedness, just to honor the switch of the word here, what that state of groundedness feels like for you. And if there are any big decisions that come up within this next week, you get to play with that. I mean, we don't want to force a big decision to come up, but you just get to play with that a little bit.
So big decision would be, like, moving. Correct. Okay, cool. I don't know if there's. That's coming up this week, but hopefully.
Yeah, I'd say moving as we lean.
Deeper and deeper into the offers that.
Your community is offering, that's a good time to practice it as well.
Yeah, yeah.
Things like that, for sure.
Yeah.
Your lifestyle actually probably gives you a lot of time to practice because you move around quite a bit. And so that might even be an example to lean into how you choose where you go next and how that's kind of played out. And you're in a relationship, so there's different dynamics coming within that. But maybe there's an example. If you kind of can consider all the places you've moved around to, maybe there's an example of, oh, I felt so excited about that one. And I was like, yes, I'm in. And I did it. And then we. I got there, and I was like, what is happening? Like, this was not right. Or maybe there's a time where you were like, oh, yeah, that makes so much sense. And everything just lined up really easily. So it's just something to play with. I don't know if you have an example of that or not, but you had asked earlier, how can I tune into times that I've used that emotional authority? And so that might be another one.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's a specific one that comes to mind which is fun that just happened. So.
Yeah. Yeah.
Cool.
So good. Okay. So obviously we did not cover all of your human design as per predicted at the start, but as we come to a space of completion today, one, how do you feel like these elements that we dove into today are going to support you and are going to support your community building.
The responding on, like, I think, like, even though it's already created, people are still responding. And that feels really, really good. That's exciting. So the same with, like the community. So, like, I feel like I haven't had anyone reach out to me and be like, oh, Jessica, wish you're the community necessarily, or with those words. So it's like once I. Or as I create the community, that actually makes me think maybe there could be like a waitlist or something. So then I'm responding in that sense. Love that versus just creating. That feels kind of good in this moment, but I'm going to wait for a grounded response. I love the groundedness. That feels really good. Way better than neutral.
Yeah.
Yeah. And just seeing how I respond, like, I loved the example of like the bird outside. I'm like, oh, let's go outside. And little things like that because those are responding. So I think that's going to be fun to play with.
Yeah.
So good. These are such good considerations and they feel very well connected to everything that has been coming through over the last week and what is going to come this week.
Yay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Is there anything else you want to.
Voice before we close out for today?
I'm just excited.
I love it. We start with the excitement. We bring the excitement all the way through into the end. No, I love that the excitement is very present today.
It is.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You've taken a lot of action already, so I'm so glad the excitement is here for the ride. And I'll drop all of your action steps for today in your. In your doc and we can't wait to see what's going to happen next.
Yay. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You're the best.
