You just know. And maybe you've shut that down because you were always told, well, how do you know? Or asked, how do you know? How do you back that up? What are the facts? Welcome to the Clarity Corner, where you'll discover how to unlock and express the most authentic version of you and realize that this is exactly what you were looking for the entire time. I'm your host and your coach, Megan Siemens. Now let's make some magic happen. Hey, friend, and welcome to the Clarity Corner. We are doing a solo episode today and I'm going to be sharing about human design. This is essentially like an intro to human design. I encourage you, even if you are familiar with human design, to tune in and maybe invite yourself into a new perspective. Whether it's a new perspective of your own design or starting to consider how other designs might be around you in your life. I love talking about human design in its core basic foundation levels. Anytime I feel like it's such a great reminder to come back to the basics. Like sometimes when we are getting in our head, when we're trying to move on to the next level, we over complicate things when really we could just come back to the basics, back to the foundation of it all. So why am I talking about human design? Well, one, on a really tangible level are interviews that we do here on the Clarity Corner. I pull each guest's human design chart and we allow them to speak through what is just innately true for them through the lens of human design. And so this episode can really help you to understand what the heck we're talking about and where all of this comes from. And then the other reason I really wanted to do this episode is because learning your human design is really a tool to help you become magnetic. Magnetic in your life, magnetic in your business. And what does that even mean? That means becoming your most authentic self and bringing in opportunities with complete ease. Creating what you want with ease. Uprooting old cycles and patterns like burnout, like overwhelm, like comfort zones, like people pleasing with are you ready for it Ease. That is the magic of human design and it's truly the magic of getting to know you when. When the more you you are in life, the more easeful life is. You know, people ask me all the time when they hear my story and they hear about some of the things that happened in my past and they hear about the time of my brother's passing. Like they ask me things like, well, how are you, you know, still going for it all? How are you this joyful? And it's because I am the most me for version of me that there is. And it is the only strategy that has consistently seen itself through and through in my life, in my business, in my projects, in my relationships, everything I do. Because as I always say, the only thing that will be consistent in every single chapter of your life. Circumstances might change, relationships might change, friendships might ebb and flow or come and go. People will pass, people will be born. There is so much change around us. But there is one constant, there is one thing that stays consistent and that is that you will be there in every chapter, in every chapter, in every season. And so that's why I think diving into our human design is so important. So before we begin, if you don't already have your chart, you to understand your human design requires you to pull what is called your birth chart. And you do need your birthday, the time you were born and the location you were born in. And so I have linked up in the show notes where you can pull your chart if you want to hit pause and do that really quick so that you can follow along with the information that I'm sharing. If you are listening to me when you're driving or you don't have access to that information right now, it actually can be so fun to just tune in and consider what feels true for you. And actually if you are on a journey right now of getting to know your most authentic self and, and deepening into trust, that might be a really fun exercise of just like trusting the direction you feel pulled in. I say over and over again in the interviews that I do like something along the lines of like, this is why I love these conversations because so often the person I'm interview doesn't know anything about their human design, but they're just operating through it. And so I guess all that to say one, the information you need going into this, or don't need going into this. But also two, this is not meant to be a label. This is not meant to box you in. I am such a firm believer in human design that if you hear something that doesn't land with you, just leave it. Like, we don't need systems to tell us who we are. It's simply a tool that can support us along the way. So with that, here's everything we'll chat through today. We're going to talk about the what and the why of human design. How to integrate it and not just use this as information. We will chat through the five energy types using your strategy and authority. We'll chat through your Profile, and then we'll give a few magnetic tips. So just. Just a few things to cover today. So let's start with the what and the why of human design. Human design is what's called the science of differentation. It is truly the study of how every single human being is unique. There are 2 billion billion with A, B configurations of human design. That means the pieces that we share today are just the tip of the iceberg, that you are so much more than just a type or a strategy or an authority or a profile. Like, there are layers and layers and layers of you as a human being. You are multifaceted. You are full of contrast. And that's one of the things I love about human design, is it brings in this uniqueness factor. It brings in this knowing that I've always known, but I've never fully been able to put language to until I started learning about human design, which is that we have so many layers. There's so much contrast. There's so much to us. And human design really gives you access to tap into those different contrasts depending on where you are in life, depending the day, depending the season, all of that. And that's just one thing that I really love. It does combine several modalities that you've probably heard about before, like the chakra system, the ancient I Ching, the Kabbalah, quantum physics. And it combines the. An astrology. It's like, I know I'm missing one in there. An astrology combines all of these into one and gives you a beautiful blueprint of all of that multidimensional energy that I was just talking about. It's kind of like having a compass for your soul. It's not like I was saying in the beginning, it's not, this is a box. Put yourself in it. It's. This is a compass of how you might want to use your energy, of how what pathways might create the most ease. You are still the driver here. You still get to decide what directions you want to go in. If you ask me, you know, hey, I'm a generator in human design. Can I do this? My answer will always be yes. How are we going to get there with the most ease? And then I think one last thing I love about human design is that it allows you to decondition stories, to let go of programming and labels that aren't working for you. Maybe stories that someone said, well, this is what works for me. So it needs. It obviously will work for you. And you've been operating in that way for years. Sometimes, you know, five years 10 years, 20 years, 30 years, 40 years. Human design allows you to decondition and say, and ground into. This is actually what feels good for me. And as we're chatting through the types and strategies and authorities and profiles today, let me just give you a few integration tips. Because information without integration is what creates overwhelm. If we just sit with all the information and do nothing with it, that's when we get ourselves into overwhelm. And so my number one goal is to create a liberation from conditioning and to open up this space for you to allow yourself to live in flow and not force. The goal is never to create more labels. And so experiment with what you hear. If you hear something that gives you a spark and you're like, what could that look like in my life? How might I show up if I was operating in that way? Give yourself a little experiment and just try on one piece at a time and just continue to remind yourself that you are not just one piece. You are a multifaceted, faceted human being. And the way you express some of these pieces are the. The way that I continue to learn about human design. That's why I love having the interviews where people can chat through. Okay, let us get into the five types and their strategy. So the five types of human design are generators, manifesting generators, manifestors, projectors, and. And reflectors. Your five types are basically how your energy is designed to flow with the least amount of resistance. And each type comes with a strategy. And your strategy breaks through comparison, it breaks through conditioning. It is your way of being with the least amount of resistance. So I'll share the overview of each type, I'll share a few myths, and then I'll share the strategy that each type has with it as well, showing us how we best dance with life. So our first type is generator. Generators are our life force of the world. They're here to really find what they love and just love doing it. To be all in on the creations, on the ideas, on what gives them that buzz, they're designed to follow this inner capacity for energy noticing, like, what am I pulled towards and what am I pulled away from? Generators can really thrive on just like fully being in mastery of something. So once you find what you love, being all in loving doing it, and being in the doing of mastery. So walking towards mastery in what you love. Sometimes when a generator is in their flow, actually, I would say often, most of the time when a generator is in their flow, they don't quite enjoy being interrupted. It's very jarring to their Energy. And it might create a really heavy frustration within them. The signpost of a generator that they are in alignment is satisfaction. And what satisfaction looks like is this deep inner knowing that they are on the right path, that you are walking with what you love doing. And if you're listening to this and you're like, okay, but, you know, I. I have to work and I have a career, that's not lighting me up, that's okay, I understand we live in a society where, you know, we do have to work, we do have to make money. But how are you filling yourself up in other areas of your life? How are you giving yourself that satisfaction in areas outside of the work that you're doing? And I would also invite you to consider. Like, have I thought about beginning to shift that and just getting curious with what would that look like? What would that look like if I started to shift into more of what I loved? Our generators make up about 37% of the population. So while there are a lot of generators out there, I have to say, every generator I've met has such a uniqueness about them. And so I invite you to not get caught up on the fact that that's maybe one of the higher percentages that we hear today, because there's so much uniqueness in how you are directing the life force of your energy, and there's much uniqueness in how your energy flows. Generators are designed to have this connection to their gut, and that gut is what gives you that feeling of pulling towards or away from something. And so for a generator, being connected to your body is key. Now, I talked about the signpost of alignment, the not self, the sign that you are misaligned is frustration. Frustration that it's not lighting you up. Feeling uninspired, feeling off flow, feeling like things are just a little bit bumpy. Frustration might also feel like you're giving your energy away, prioritizing other people's excitement. It could also feel like expecting others to keep up with you, remembering that you do have this capacity to go, to be this life force in the world, and so remembering not everyone else does. And I would say there's so many other ways frustration can be expressed. But just consider that simple signpost and how frustration shows up in your life. I would say a myth for a generator is that you have to work all the time. There's so much lingo out there that says our generators are our doers. And this can get mistranslated into like, you gotta go, go, go. You gotta hustle until you burn out. And that's actually not what a generator is designed for. Your gift is your work, your gift is in your creations. You do have a flow of energy, but burnout is definitely still a thing, especially if you're in that space of frustration and misalignment. And so just because you have the energy to do something, doesn't mean that you have to do it. And that key piece is connecting back to your body. Like I was talking about earlier, the strategy for a generator is to. And what that means is generators are designed to respond to life. Waiting for life to come to you and then you answering to life. And what you're really looking for in that is, do I have access to do the thing that I'm responding to? Do I have access to see it through? This doesn't mean you're sitting around doing nothing. It means you're happily in what ignites that satisfaction and feel feels like a full body. Yes. It means you're resetting your energy when the buzz isn't there. And then when you have something to respond to, that's when you can enter in. And I would also say a generator is always responding to life. Whether it's responding to if they have energy to see through a project or they're responding to the weather outside ask, begging them to get out and move their body. You're always responding to life. It's just noticing what that response is pulled to and from. It can feel really good for you to ask someone to ask you so that you can tap into that gut instead of just expecting you to do something or expecting you have enough energy for something, having people ask you so that you can tap into that response. Now let's move to our manifesting generators. Our manifesting generators make up about 33% of the population. And they are going to have so many similarities with our generators in their body. So still having that powerful connection to their gut and that powerful inner energy to go to move. But the difference is with our manifesting generators, they have this capacity to hold a lot of yeses all at once. Our manifesting generators are usually our multi passionate movers. They might have 17 different projects open at once. And that actually just feels so, so good for them. There's this connection not only to their gut, but also to their throat center, which creates a lot of manifestation power. And so our manifesting generators move fast. They move fast and they pivot fast. They are going, going, going with what they are so passionate about. And then all of a sudden they're like, oh, it's not that anymore. And then they move and they do a hard turn. Movement is actually what creates clarity. For a manifesting generator, I would say the shadow, the myth is that they're flaky or can never settle on something. But that's actually what you're designed to do. You're actually designed to try many things and to do fast pivots. You move really fast through the process, and then when you're ready to shift, it's time to shift. And that is exactly how you're designed to operate. There is this real buzz about manifesting generators. Like whenever I sit with a manifesting generator, when I'm. When I'm finished, I. I feel fully activated. Like, I'm like, I need to like go, I need to go do something with this energy right now. There is this full magnetic activation. And in that fast moving process, manifesting generators actually create a lot of efficiency. You're really great at finding ways to efficient, efficiently get things done super fast. And in that multi passionate capacity to hold as many things, you're teaching us all ways of experimenting. You're teaching us all ways to feel into processes. A lot of times you might find that you have the energy to get something started, to get the fire going, but you might not have the full desire to see it all the way through. And so delegation, bringing people on board can be really important for you. Manifesting generators tend to skip a lot of steps, and this is actually really natural for you to skip a lot of steps. And so if there are people that you can align and support you through your processes, that can be super helpful for you. And like the generator, the one of the signature themes or signposts that you're in alignment is satisfaction. Another one is peace. For a manifesting generator, you might find that you wake up just like pumped to kickstart the day, even if that means you, like sleep in a little later. You're just like ready to go, go. You're feeling super ignited. You're feeling connected to how you're about to show up. And I would say also that full body satisfaction and peace is allowing yourself to use up all of your energy in a day. You're led by this buzz that is just fully satisfied at the end of the day. And then that not self is again, like a generator of frustration, but also a little bit of anger. Again, it might feel a little bumpy, you might feel uninspired, Your energy feels drained out, and maybe you feel a little disempowered. You feel like you can't fully move in your Flow. You feel like you can't fully just like bounce around in the full freedom of a process. And that might show up as feeling really frustrated or feeling really anger or feeling resentful even towards either projects or even people. For the manifesting Generator, the strategy is wait to respond and inform. So you're waiting, you're responding to life. Just like the generator. You're noticing what I do and don't have access to noticing. Do I have the energy to start with Again, it's not doing nothing. It's being immersed in what you love. What you love is so magnetic. Any of the interviews that you listen to with me chatting with a manifesting generator, you can feel the buzz through the microphone, through the headphones, you can feel the buzz. There is this magnetic quality to you when you're in that satisfaction, when you're using your energy in the right directions, that people are just naturally like, I want to come on board. I want to come on board. I want to figure out what this is. Like, I want more of what you're serving up. And there is this informing piece because you move so fast. Informing is really designed to create a little stabilization. It gives people an opportunity to support you. When you can say, hey, I'm moving into this experiment, it can give people that chance to go like, oh, my gosh, do you need help with xyz? It can give people the opportunity to go, oh, I'm in. I find that if you're a manifesting generator in business, I find a lot of manifesting generators are like, I just like pre launched this thing and I filled it up because I was just sharing through the process. And that I feel like, is some of the magic for a manifesting generator. You have this creation energy, you have this quick moving energy. And your experiments are so potent and powerful that simply by sharing, it can just activate others to come on board. Next up, we'll move to our manifestors. Our manifestors are our initiators. Manifestors are here to move. They are here to create impact. They are here to go. They are ready to go. And they're also really designed to like, dip in and dip out to say, hey, I'm here to initiate this thing. And then like, oh, I gotta go. They're really here to get the ball rolling. You know, my brother Kirk was a manifester. And one of my favorite stories that highlights and amplifies this is that he was almost born in a parking lot. And I feel like he just entered this world with like, here I am, let's go. Like, let's do the thing. And that is really how manifesters are. They're not made to be controlled. They have this real independence about them. They're really just desired, trying to like, to make it happen, to be bold and to create new ways for us in the world. Manifestors are said to have this quote unquote repelling energy, but I like to call it protective. For a manifesto, their energy is so sacred because there is such an impactful wave to it that you're really designed to show us new ways to do things in the world. There's just this bold. And bold might be quiet or bold might be loud, but there's this boldness that leads so naturally. And to protect your energy, to protect that really sacred energy is, is vital for how that energy moves. And when I find, when I'm invited into a space with a manifestor, it's so, so special and sacred, I find that I have the most deep conversations with them. The manifester children are the ones that have gone into the other yard and you're like, oh my gosh, what are you doing? They're just going, they're seeing the thing that they want and they're making it happen. Now the strategy for a manifester is to inform, which can feel so counterintuitive, but it is really what is designed to support your energy because it creates a grounding element in your entire reality. The not self theme for a manifestor, the sign that they're out of alignment is anger. And the piece of informing is really a piece that can serve and support the anger because a lot of times the anger comes through because there's a ungroundedness or a destabilization in the, in your entire reality. And so the informing can really support that anger piece. And the informing isn't, hey, can I have permission to do this thing? The informing is, hey, I'm doing this thing. It's not getting permission. It's not, and you might even phrase it with, you know, I'm doing this thing. I'm not actually currently looking for advice. I just wanted to share. It's not about explaining or justifying. It's just a heads up. It's a heads up before you go. And yeah, this creates a groundedness. It also gives people the opportunity to go, can I help? Like, oh, that sounds really cool. What if I came in and did this with it? Now I want to tag back on that anger and then I want to share the signature signpost as well. The anger often shows up as disempowerment. You might feel really like you're being controlled. There's like a real rebellion to a manifesto, I feel like. And so your anger might feel like a little annoyed with just like everything. You might feel super disconnected from yourself. And I invite you to even consider your relationship with anger, because anger is one of those emotions that I feel like can get repressed really easily. But I find when I'm working with my manifestor clients, they're like, I don't even know where to access anger from. And so I just invite you to consider your relationship with anger. Now, the signature theme, the note that shows you're on alignment, you're on track, is peace. There's this calmness, there's this neutral confidence. There's no excess. You just know you can move. There's not a lot of disruption externally. You're just in that flow and your entire body feels this stabilization, it feels this full body peace because you know, you're in control of the ideas, you're in control of the next move, you're in control of where to head next. So there is this, like, element of control for the manifestor, but noticing how control and peace meet together. And then I would say the myth for the manifester is that you can just magically create anything. And I feel like this can lead a manifester into that place of anger or disempowerment where they're just like, okay, well, I'm just going to do it. I'm just going to do it. I'm just going to do it. Why isn't it working? Why isn't it working? Why isn't it working? But if you're out of alignment in other areas of your life, the initiating isn't going to work just because you're doing it. You know, there is this space of listening to your inner authority, which we're going to talk about in a little bit. There's this space of, am I in the right spaces and communities? Have I let too many people in? There's so many different questions you can ask yourself if you're like, well, I'm initiating, I'm doing things, but it's not working. Consider where you're making these decisions from, especially if you're letting your mind or a comparison to the outside world create any excess noise in your reality. Oh, and I don't think I shared manifestors make up about 9% of the population, so a smaller percentage of the population. I have been so honored to sit and share space and particularly to share coaching space with so many manifestors because Manifestors. One, we've talked about how sacred their energy is. But two, questions can be jarring, not a manifesto's favorite. And so to be able to share space and specifically coaching space in which so much of it is about questions is really, really an honor. And so if you have any manifestors in your life or if you are a manifester, really cherishing the relationship, and I feel like that can be like such medicine for a manifesto as well. Okay, next up is our projectors. Now, I'm a projector, so you might hear me using some we language and projectors. We'll start with a percent of the population. Projectors make up about 20% of the population. And projectors are here to be our guides. They're here to understand in a really deep way. They're here to be our advisors that have this bird's eye view perspective. Projectors really have this openness to life, and they're really here to deeply get to know others, to show up in what they're good at. So much of being a projector is remembering how important it is to show up. And that has a lot to do with the strategy. A strategy for an, for a projector is to wait for the invitation, but invitations don't come if we're hiding. And so having this real openness to life and showing up in what you're led to guide through what you're led to advise on and really allow yourself the space to show up. I find that often the projectors that I sit with have a fear of being seen. And it's so valid because there's probably a fear underneath that of rejection. Maybe you found that you've been rejected in the past, and aligning with your projector energy can help soothe. And I would even say, I won't say you'll never experience rejection, but I can say pretty confidently, since aligning with my projector energy, I have not faced a space of rejection that led me into this deep bitterness and anger towards life. And so if you let yourself be seen, if you recognize yourself first, and if you're choosing the people that are in your space, I find that that fear of rejection, that fear of being seen kind of like naturally dissipates. There's this real openness and this real piercing energy to projectors. Sometimes you might feel like you see things about others that they haven't seen about themselves yet, and there is this natural projection of that energy outwards. You naturally bring people together as you're optimizing spaces, as you're optimizing Processes. Projectors aren't really designed to go, go, go, go, go, go, go. You're not really designed to do all of the doing. Breaks are so vital for projectors. That's the space that you really optimize your energy. Projectors thrive when they can go deep, when they can master a system, when they can optimize a process. And allowing that mastery, allowing that deep dive to happen in sprints, not marathons. And I would say the right people in the right environments are key for a projector. For any of this to unfold, for any of this to happen. The inner circle is really key when you're in healthy relationship, is when those aligned opportunities really come in. That's when you're invited in to share your potent perspective. The strategy for a projector is to wait for recognition and invitation for a projector. You're waiting for investors, people who want to invest, not in, like, the traditional sense, but you're waiting for people who want to invest in your talents and in your gifts. You show up, you let yourself be visible, and you wait for recognition and an invitation in. And waiting for that invitation all starts with recognition. And so that's why I talk about you have to put yourself out there. You have to let yourself be seen and remember that you're actually designed to be seen. One of the things I often tell my projectors is we see you before you needed us to see you. Often, projectors are seen without even realizing it. And an invitation is a tool to really protect your energy. You can really discern who is ready or not ready for what you have to serve up. So once that invitation comes in, and then you can decide if you have the energy to see it through. And I think this is one lesson I had to learn deeply as a projector. Not all invitations are right. And with the projector's deep desire to be seen, it can be so easy to just say yes to all of the invitations. That feeling of, oh, my gosh, someone sees me, thank goodness, I obviously have to do this now. Whether it's a fear of letting someone down or just this immediate excitement of, oh, my gosh, they've seen me, they've recognized me. Even if it's something you love doing, really checking in with, is this the right invitation for me? The signature theme for a projector is success. And this is such a huge sign that you are investing in the right spaces. And so I would say allowing yourself to define and redefine Sussex success continuously. You're really here to show us what success means without Burning out our energy. You're here to show us what success can look like in new ways. You're not designed to keep up with everyone else. You're designed to be in your flow. And the not self theme for a projector is bitterness. And gosh, I know the feeling of bitterness. It's this distaste for life, and it can overflow into all areas. If there's one space in your life that's bitter, it overflows into all of them. You might find that you're constantly being recognized for the wrong thing. Energy just might feel stuck. And so just remember to align with that space of success and to consider how you're showing up. The myth for the projector is that they have to say yes to all of the invitations. And so reminding yourself continuously, consistently, or checking in maybe is a better way to put it. Checking in with, how am I showing up? How am I showing up? And am I. Am I building in rest, or am I just taking on more to keep up with everyone else? And then our last energy type is a reflector. Now, our reflectors are here to mirror the health of a community. They have this real magnifying energy. They can show us, hey, something's really off, or, hey, we are all on track. Reflectors really naturally enliven and lift up the energy of others, and they're designed to march to the beat of their own drum. They have this real sampling energy where they're just kind of seeing what they're in the mood for. Some days, a reflector might feel like a generator. Some days a reflector might feel like a projector. Some days a reflector might feel like they just want to be in their being. And that's what a reflector is designed to do. They're magnifying and amplifying everything that's in our spaces and in our environments. And reflectors are really designed to live for these moments of awe and wonder. Reflectors only make up about 1% of the population. And it has been such a joy for me to sit with many reflectors now. And I find that reflectors have such a magic in their process and such a leadership in their process. I'll sit with a reflector sometimes, and they'll be like, this is absolutely what I want to do. And they'll have this whole plan, and they'll be like, this is what I want it to look like. And then they'll, like, go for it. And they'll do it for a bit, and then they'll come back and be like, okay, that was fun. Actually. I want to do this. And that's really how our reflector is designed. They're designed to sample. They're designed to live for these moments of like, I wonder what that would be like. And then just like, let it all alchemize into something magical. And maybe they see it through all the way into this space of mastery, or maybe they shift and redecide. But that's the magic of a reflector. They have this real present energy. And I find that a reflector has a lot of gifts in teaching us about the present. It's really, really magical to be in space with a reflector. I also once worked with a reflector who was a project manager, which, as I said at the beginning, we do not need to box ourselves in with what you could do as your energy type. But it was so cool to see a reflector in this role, because what does a project manager do? They oversee the projects in a holistic way for a company. And so what I found was she was in this role where she could be like, hey, everything feels off. What can we look at here to resist, imatize that? Or she would show them naturally, like, hey, I think we all need a pause here. I think we need to take a beat. And there was this real natural space of leadership, of not, hey, I'm telling you to do this thing, but this space of like, I'm in my essence, I'm in my role. I feel like I'm in a space where I can share what's working, what's not working. And then being able to do that in a really in flow way, it was just so magical to watch. There's this real fluidity with a reflector. There's this real heartbeat of a reflector. The signature theme for a reflector, probably by no surprise. Oh, well, that's ironic. Their signature theme is surprise. As I've been talking about the awe and wonder of life that a reflector experiences, there is just this real freshness and there's this real surrender. And when you are living in alignment, you might find that you're just so captivated by all of the possibilities, and you just kind of blow yourself away in the. In how you're flexible with the way you're moving. The not self theme for a reflector is disappointment. And disappointment might show up with. It might show up as wrong place, wrong time, wrong people. It might show up as a pressure or a false sense of control. I would say one of the biggest shadows or challenges for a reflector is trying to control it all or trying to conform to the way things have been done, when you know that if you move in this really fluid way, that there is this new life that can be breathed into the way we're showing up. The myth that I'll share for reflectors is that they are weak. There's this sense sometimes that a reflector has that they're like, well, I'm. There's this. There's this vast openness to me. And is there, like a strong energy? Because so much of the reflector energy is amplifying what's outside, what's external, what's in their environment. But, gosh, reflectors have this incredible resilience to them. Reflectors have this incredible strength, and it really is a superpower. And truly, because they are that heartbeat of the team, the heartbeat of the community, there is this real strength in a way that a lot of us haven't seen before. So I would say reflectors are very powerful. And then finally, the strategy for reflector is traditionally called wait a lunar cycle. But I like calling it wait for clarity. It's just letting your clarity ebb and flow. It's letting you feel into it over time in different spaces, in different environments, in different places, letting your energy ebb and flow. Reflectors aren't designed to go, go, go all the time. And so taking that time to release from any attachments that aren't yours. So waiting for that clarity to come. Okay, my friends, so those are the five types. Take a moment to just. Let's just take an inhale and exhale. And just noticing that that was a lot of juicy, beautiful information. Just being able to consider how many different types of people there are in the world and how all of what was just shared can be expressed in so many different ways. And so we're going to briefly touch on some other parts of a human design chart, because you'll notice if you've pulled your chart or if you do afterwards, there's more than just a type and a strategy. There's, like, a lot of words. There's, like, crazy lines, numbers, shapes, all these different things going on in a human design chart. And for Anyone who has a 1 in their profile, aka just like this natural curiosity to know the facts, to have the resource research to back it, you might be like, what does all this stuff mean? Or if you just have this innate curiosity, you might be like, what am I looking at right now? And so I'll quickly walk through some of the other pieces. We won't do deep dives. Into all of the pieces today. But I'll kind of tell you what you're looking at here. So your authority is how you best navigate decisions. None of us are made to to make decisions from our mind. This is how we get stuck. Our mind is designed to analyze, our mind is designed for logic. And what happens when we're stuck in our mind or trying to make decisions from our mind is we spiral. We go back and forth and this and that and the other and oh my gosh, what am I gonna do? And all of a sudden we're spiraling over a decision for days and days and days, weeks and weeks and weeks, months and months and months, sometimes years. But we're not actually designed to make decisions from our mind. The other place we try to make decisions from is the external world. Give me advice, someone tell me how to do it. Maybe you're not directly asking for someone to tell you how to do it, but you are constantly looking for the secret answer. You're constantly trying to find it in books or webinars or classes or just watching other people. That's what gets us caught in a cycle of comparison. And it gets us caught using our energy in wrong directions. And though so our authority gets us out of those two spaces and back into our body and back into an aligned decision making process. And so your authority is either going to be sacral, emotional, splenic, ego, manifested ego, projected, self projected, mental, or lunar authority. I'll give you an example of my own authority and then we'll move on to profiles. I'm a self projected projector. This is the most life affirming pieces that I found out about my human design. Self projected is talking it out to clarity. Not looking for advice, not looking for necessarily anything back. Simply giving your voice space and letting clarity come through. Sometimes I'll say things and I'll just be going, going, going, talking, talking, talking. I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand. And then all of a sudden I say the thing, I'm like, oh, that was it. The people that are closest to me in my life know this process very well. And they'll even see me in that pause and go, you just found it, didn't you? It's the voice that gives clarity. The reason this was so life affirming for me and one of the transformative pieces in my human design is because I can remember the moment I shut that down. I can remember the moment that teachers told me I talked too much, that they would move me around the classroom and I would still just keep talking. And I can remember little me trying to make decisions and trying to hear that voice. And the more and more and more I got in trouble for it, the more I shut it down or the more and more and more I got ridiculed for saying things that sounded a little weird or out there, I shut it down. And so slowly and slowly I shut my voice down. But it's actually such a powerful part of my design. And that is true with all of the authorities. It is such a powerful part of your design. And I find so often when we're connecting with authority, we're realizing I shut that down for whatever reason. Maybe you're. And we're not going to dive into all the authorities, but maybe you're a splenic authority, which is this gentle knowing. You just know all of a sudden. And there's no explaining it. It's just come through. And it might be a little voice, it might be a little pull towards. It might be just this niggle that says, don't, don't turn that left turn. You just know. And maybe you've shut that down because you were always told, well, how do you know? Or asked, how do you know? How do you back that up? What are the facts? And so slowly but surely you shut that down. And no longer do you trust that you can just know. You have to figure out why you know. And so your authority can really bring you back to that space of trust. Trust in your body, trust in your ways and allowing you to move your energy that we were talking about in the first part with all of the energy types, allowing you to move that with ease. The next part of your human design that we would look at is your profile. Your profile. You'll hear me say in interviews that I'm doing, you'll Hear me say, two numbers. Your profile is 624-635-4124. Might hear different things like this. These are your profiles. And your profiles are essentially where your greatest and most easeful opportunities come to unfold your purpose, to unfold your projects, to unfold your passions. And it's two numbers because it's your personality meets your design. It's your conscious meet your unconscious. And so often I find that each person tends to be a little more connected to one of the numbers over the other. Oftentimes I have seen it flipped, but oftentimes they are more familiar with the first number and are getting to know the Second number. Oftentimes the first number blocks the second number from happening. And a lot of times, other people see the second number more easily than the first number. So someone else will see your second number before you see your first number. Often. I've definitely seen it flipped where you feel like you know your second number a lot more. Other people see you for the first number. Of course, there's always exceptions. I don't like extremes around here. It's very rare that I'll speak in an extreme, but that's the general way people see their profile. So I will quickly run through the profile lines. We can do that part. It's kind of speedy. So one is the investigator, the researcher. They love the facts. They want to know the things. They want to read the books. They jump into the Google search right away. They are designed to create this really strong foundation. Our twos are people that just know things because they know them. Because they know them. Often twos have this openness, this flexibility to their mind that just, like, has me in awe. And she's like, wow. My. My husband Andrew has a two in his profile. And I joke that sometimes I get. I feel like he can just read my mind. Like, I'm like, how did you just know that? I didn't say it out loud, but it was in my brain. He just knows. He just knows things. And it's not just with me. He can do that with other people too. And it's so magical to witness the way that he can hold people in their process and really see things. It's so powerful. And the two is designed to really just trust those knowings. It can feel really obnoxious to have to explain the knowings. If someone's like, why? How do you know that? That can feel really taxing for someone with a 2, the 2 line is called the hermit. And they are designed to have a lot of space by themselves. The space of introspection. This is the space that they kind of regenerate those knowings. It might be a space that they are diving into learning something. It might be a space where they. Whatever mastery looks like for them. Maybe it's more of a doing practice, but that space to lean back and be in their own energy is so important. For a 2, the 3 is the experimenter test trial. Let it be messy, let it be bumpy. For the three, it's all about the process. Like, you are designed to just go. You learn through the process. Setting the foundation can feel really frustrating for you because it is the experiment that teaches you Your ways. And it is so powerful to hear about an experiment from someone who has a three. And it is from the experiments that your greatest opportunities come through. Four is all about the network, all about the community, all about the connections. Your greatest opportunities come from your networks. Fours aren't necessarily designed for strangers. So this doesn't mean go put yourself in a bunch of random networking events where you don't know anyone, but maybe you go to a networking event with someone that you're really close to, and they have close connections that they even invite you to. It kind of reminds me of this webinar, this connection web, where you have a connection who introduces you to a connection who introduces you to a connection. And your community and your networks and the people that you're with create your greatest opportunities. And they are so vital to your purpose unfolding. This is my profile, and I find that my community, my connections, they are. I will say, I just said I don't like extremes, but I will say they are the most important piece to specifically my business and how it's unfolded and how it's flourished and how it's thrived. Our five lines are our leaders. They are our warriors. They are designed to have this powerful perspective that they share. Often our fives get projections placed on them. People see that you have something powerful and that you have solutions, and they project. I need you to fix me. I need you to save me. And so for our fives, letting go of trying to solve everything and finding the problems you want to solve. And then our six lines are our role models. Six lines operate in three phases of life. Coming to the space of being the true role model, the full embodiment of a role model. And people naturally coming to you because they know that you can help them become that best version of themselves, the most authentic version of themselves. The first part of your life might be incredibly messy. I laugh because I have a six in my profile. And heck, yes, it was. I was like, what is happening? The second phase of your life, you're designed to sit up on the roof to have this higher perspective. And the third phase, ultimately walking you into that role model. So these are the six profiles, or the six numbers you could have in your profile, that is. And you might find that oftentimes there is a bit of a contrast. So one of the profiles is 2, 4. That's the hermit. To be in their own space, to get to know their own knowings, to trust their own knowings. And the four is community. To be out there, to be with people. This can feel incredibly contradictive. And this is where what I was talking about at the beginning, oftentimes that first number can block that second number. So for the 24 example, I need to be in my own space. I just need to like be alone. Maybe you feel a little introverted. You're like, I just like being alone. And so you block yourselves from ever building that community, from, from putting yourself out there, from creating connections. And so just noticing, just noticing what you kind of fall into and you kind of use it as almost an excuse or a crutch for moving forward. If you can believe it, we've still only scratched the surface purpose of all things human design. We haven't even covered your gates, your channels, all the variables, your definition. There's truly so much information in your human design. And this is one of the reasons that I take my clients through their human design, not just in a single session, but in a four month series, allowing all the information to not just unfold, but also integrate. Great. Because information without integration is how we end up in overwhelm. So as we're coming to the end of this episode and just soaking in all of the nourishing information and getting to know your human design, what I want you to know the most is that you are magnetic. Meaning that when you are fully you, it is so effortless for you to attract in who or what you need in your life. You have little magnets in your design just waiting to be activated, just waiting for you to show up, just waiting for you to be you. And that is all that you need to do. Tapping into your design, tapping into your purpose is about being, not doing so. Just find your forward movement, find your flow. Whether you know your chart and you're deepening into some of the elements that I shared today, or whether you listen to this as a little experiment and you're like, let me just see what lands. And now I'm just going to get curious with what is activated. Just let yourself be in your forward movement and just find your flow. Because truly you are, you are magnetic. I really believe that everyone is magnetic to the opportunities they want, magnetic to the relationships they want, magnetic to the abundance that they're calling in in their life. If you have something on your heart that you desire, there is a reason that it's there. If we were all sitting in a room together, everyone that's listening to me today, and I asked you to share what you desire and to get as specific as possible, whether that's how you want to feel or what you're calling in or something you want to happen next. Like, take a moment and just pause there and think about that. What do I really desire right now? And if we were all sitting in a room together and we gave voice to each of those, they would be so uniquely different. There might be a commonality in some of them, there might be themes that we hear, but everyone's desire has its own flavor to it, has its own essence to it. And there's a reason that your desire lives within you. And that, that right there is why you were designed to be magnetic. You were designed to have those desires, and they were designed to unfold in expected and unexpected ways. And so I invite you, as we come to completion with this episode today, to spend some time with your desire. Maybe grabbing your journal or maybe going on a walk and talk with yourself. You don't have to talk out loud because I don't know, that might feel a little strange. But hey, if you want to go for it, you might actually want to give it voice. And maybe you do a voice note to yourself, I've done that. Hello, self projected me. Whatever feels true for you. Spend some time with your desires. Even if you're like, Megan, I don't know what I desire. Just start with what you desire to feel. What do you desire to feel in life? If you're in that moment right now of like, this isn't it? What is it? What do you know for sure? Start there and see how you can expand it, how you can expand your desire beyond what you actually thought was ever possible. Make it bigger and bigger and bigger. The more words you write, the more words you express, the more consideration you give it. And I invite you to put on a timer for at least five minutes to be in this flow and just see what unfolds. And if you ever get stuck with I don't know what's next, just write or say, I don't know what's next. I don't know what's next. I don't know what's next. But if I did know, what I would know for sure is and then fill in the blank. And after you complete that exercise, I want you to consider, how would I show up for this? Who would I be? What would I say? How would my energy move? How would it just feel so good to show up for this vision? And then I just invite you to take it from there. So, my friends, I hope you so enjoyed this episode. Please enjoy diving into that exercise. If you do the exercise and you take a little picture of your journal page or a creation that you made from it. Be sure to tag me on Instagram so I can celebrate you or send me a little note in my inbox. I absolutely love amplifying celebrations because it's something I feel like we don't do as often as we, quote, unquote, should be doing. I feel like that's a good should in life. You should be celebrating more and I would love to hear what your human design is. So do send me a message on Instagram, let me know what your type is in human design and what one takeaway from today's episode was. I would just absolutely love to hear that from you. If there was something that gave you permission or a light bulb or something that you were like, oh, that. That is what I have been getting stuck against my whole life. I'm going to experiment with that piece right there. Just let me know you. I'm wishing you so much love, so much clarity, and so much magic for the rest of your day, the rest of your week, the rest of your month expanded beyond. And I'll see you in the next episode.
