Guided by Your Lighthouse: A Fresh Approach to Goal Setting (Jessica Session 7)
10 Dec 2024 · 55 min
Megan Semans coaches Jessica on goal setting using lighthouse statements and human design principles. They discuss income goals, celebrating progress, and aligning vision with personal growth as part of a 90-day coaching series.
Hello, my friend. Welcome back to the show. Good news, I found my microphone. If you're listening to this in real time, then you know my microphone got eaten by my house last week's episode. But here we are.
We're back.
I'm very excited to be bringing you the final three sessions from Jessica's 90 day coaching series. We're really bringing it home here and today's episode is a fun one. We're going to be talking a little bit about goal setting, quote, unquote. I actually don't set traditional goals as a coach and I'm going to talk a little bit about why. And then we talk a little bit.
About.
How to shift your goals, your vision, if that's something that you hit in your journey before, before we dive into it again. For my friends who are listening in real time, I'm hosting a two day human design experience. Part one is in December of 2024 where we will set your vision aligned with your energy. Most people do the whole vision thing a little bit backwards. They focus only on the doing and not on the being. And when we do that, it can certainly work for sure. People have been doing that for years. And if you keep running into the same wall over and over again, if you keep finding yourself in a cycle of burnout, if you're exhausted for seemingly no reason, you're like, I, I'm doing.
Like a normal schedule like everyone else.
But I'm just completely drained and out of energy. Then you're probably doing this backwards or upside down and you're not focusing on the being first. You are the constant in every season, in every chapter, there you are. If it's a hard season or a celebratory season, you are going to be there. That is guaranteed in your journey. And so this two part series brings you back to you and focuses on your energy first so that you can create a vision with complete ease. And then we'll move into part two, which is in January of 2025. So. So we're ending the year and starting the year in alignment with your energy. And the January session will be really focused on direction. So where do you go? How do you put one foot in front of the other in the most easeful way possible and all through the lens of your human design. So we will explore your type, your strategy, your authority, your signature and not self themes, your profile, your strengths, your centers. We're going to dive into it all. It's basically like a human design intensive. Whether you are brand new to human design and you haven't done any session at all or anything, or you're somewhere in the middle. Maybe you've gotten a human design write up before or you have had a session or several sessions. It doesn't matter where you're at on your human design journey, the focus is coming back to you. And we will use human design as a tool throughout this experience. But what I can promise you is it will not be me talking for the whole time. There will be integration, there will be exercises, and there will be breaks as.
Well, because each day is three hours.
So we'll have stretch breaks, water breaks, maybe dance breaks, all the things. So I would love to see you there. I will put the invitation in the show notes for you to explore and save your spot. Okay, so about Jessica's session today. Like I said, we're in our final three sessions, so we're really bringing it home. And in my experience, there's. There's a few things that happen in the final stretch of a coaching series. I won't go into all of those. Maybe another time we'll do an episode on that. But one of the most common things that I see, especially with the women that I work with and the reason, back to the beginning, why I don't set traditional goals like most coaches do. I set what's called a lighthouse. And one of the most common things that happens in the final stretch of a coaching series is we either realize that we've blown that vision out of the water. It's happened, it's come alive, it's here it is crystallized into reality. Or we realize there's a different direction. There's a course. Correct. And there's a couple of reasons this happens. One is because I'm usually working with women who are rediscovering themselves coming back home to you. And so oftentimes, when we are setting goals without having a solid foundation of ourselves, we're going off of conditioning, AKA other people's stories or what other people are doing out there. And it's not actually a goal that's ours. And so often, if we're doing a course correct, it's because partway through the series, you've figured out, oh, this is who I am. This is who. This is what it feels like to truly be me. Or we expand completely. What is possible for you? My clients have lovingly nicknamed me the Clarity Queen, and I've been known to create really clear pathways to infinite possibilities. We create a lot of magic around here. And all of my clients know what the real life magic is. That is when we just blow ourselves away. And life happens in this unexplainable kind of way, but it actually is kind of explainable. The explanation is that you've settled back into yourself, and life is so, so much easier when you're moving with your own operating system. And so when your possibilities expand, you blow your goals out of the water. And so we learned to do what we do in this session today with Jessica, which is where we set goals that feel just out of reach, because usually what happens is you'll either far exceed that goal or you will exceed. You will hit somewhere further than you.
Originally thought you could go, because.
Because we were expanding possibilities. So I set what are called lighthouse statements at the start of a series, and this is basically to keep our focus somewhere. So I don't want to have a container where we're just kind of moving free with the wind, because then where are we headed? And like I said, there's course corrections, there's shifts, there's changes. We're always open for flexibility around here in this space.
Space.
But I believe in the power of a container. And what is a container? It holds something. There's an entry point and an exit point. And so the lighthouse statement holds our focus, it holds our vision. It keeps our sights set on where.
We want to go.
And so we come back to it over and over again. You've heard us come back to it in this series. Just like a lighthouse, if you think about a lighthouse, the light moves around, and sometimes it's visible, and sometimes it's not visible, but the point of it is so that a boat doesn't crash into shore. And that is what we're doing with your lighthouse statement. You are the boat, and you are going on a glorious, extraordinary adventure. And we are making sure that you do not crash into shore and go, oh, my gosh, what just happened? We're keeping our focus set on where we are headed. So that's why we set a lighthouse statement at the very beginning of the series. And in this session in particular, you're.
Going to hear, spoiler alert, how Jessica has really.
She's made it to shore.
She has made it to this first lighthouse point.
And so we do a little bit of a reset. And I'll pop in throughout the episode to help you consider if it's time for your reset and what that might look like for you. You so enjoy the session, and as always, I would love to hear from you after you tune in. Come tell me your favorite takeaway, your light bulb moment. And I hope to see you in the two day series, illuminating you. Yes, we love the element of light around here to help guide you. So I'll see you there.
Okay.
Hello, my lovely. Welcome back.
Let's do a little grounding today.
Yes, please.
All right.
So going ahead and landing, taking a breath, honoring the. The nature that we're both surrounded by today. And letting that ground us into this space that we're entering in together. Inhaling, connecting into the earth. And on an exhale, feeling yourself surrounded.
And held by spirit, calling yourself to yourself, gathering any energy left in different spaces, locations, or time periods. And taking this moment to connect with.
Your heart, honoring all that we have completed in this journey thus far. And with curiosity, internally asking yourself, what.
Will serve me best today? Taking a moment to pause there, we open our space with curiosity.
Play beauty and grace, trusting exactly in the directions we go, Inhaling together, exhaling.
Together.
And gently coming on back to the screen.
Well, did anything come up in that that feels.
Yeah.
Like the direction for today. What's coming up for you?
So it came up, but I don't want it to take the whole direction as it came up. I was like, okay, yeah, I hear you, but, like, I don't want to spend the whole session on this.
Okay. I'm. I'm intrigued.
So I want to celebrate every as, like, everything that I've accomplished so far.
Why don't you want that to take up the whole session?
Because I want to work towards something else as well.
Okay. And don't you think your celebrations help you?
Yes, that's why it'll take up some of the sessions.
All right, fair enough. Fair enough. We'll see where it leads us. How about that? Okay, deal. Well, I think a really beautiful place to start with this is actually just connecting with your. Your lighthouse statement. So maybe you want to just read that out loud and one, share how it's feeling and then two, just anything else that comes up with it.
Coping in color Community is built and expanding, and it feels very true. I think, like, the missing piece that I'm. I'm noticing is, like, we keep talking about it, like, bringing in more income in a. In a way. And then the lighthouse statement doesn't include that piece. And so, like, I've. I've accomplished the lighthouse statement. Like, it is built, it is expanding.
Yeah.
But the missing piece is the financial piece.
Wow.
I'm actually going to take this so full circle. I don't even know if you remember this, but. But we, like, started on our first call to, like, go Down a secondary rabbit hole with money. And then we were like, you know what? Let's just pause and see where this first one goes. And do you remember that? No. Okay. That's okay if you don't.
But I have mom brain.
It just. Fair enough. It just feels so full circle in that. In that first session, it was like, I feel like I need to do like a roll back the tape moment. Like, I wish I could replay it for you. But in that moment, it felt very much like this first lighthouse has to come true. And you have to really deeply believe that that's actually possible before you can fully start tapping into that next level of income.
I like to call this the stair step when it comes to goal setting or vision setting or whatever you want to call it. Or lighthouse. If we want to keep to the lingo we all learned today. I like to think about this if you ever feel like you've been going for the same goal over and over and over and over and over and over again, just on repeat, you've been trying to get achieve the same thing thing, and you keep running into a wall, you keep bumping into a barrier, and you're starting to feel frustrated with not being there. This is usually a sign that there's some either conditioning in place or like a quote, limiting belief, if you will. There's a belief that's blocking you from making the quote quantum leap. Because I do truly believe you can make quantum leaps and you can go from the circumstance you're in now to a vastly different reality in so much faster time than you can imagine. And if you have been continuously trying to do that, so you've been trying to reach this big goal over and over and you just keep running into frustration. You probably need to do a stair step in between. And so this is about finding where this stair is that's going to get you to that next level in your house. Versus okay, I'm just going to keep trying to jump and I'm going to exhaust myself. And I'm. I'm trying to like jump up to this balcony and grab on when instead there's a staircase right over there. And so focusing on what is the next step to then allow you to get into your expansion. So if you've been feeling stuck on achieving a really big goal, it might be time to just ask yourself not to let go of the vision or to let go of the goal knowing I can still get there and what is the first stair step that I need to get onto.
It feels like you're There now.
Yeah.
Yeah. Because I have the community. It's built and it's expanding, and it's like, continuing to expand this whole past however many days we've been together.
Yeah.
And I didn't even know what the community was until.
Yeah.
I mean, it just keeps getting created. But, like.
Yeah.
When it was within the past two, like, during the implementation week.
Right.
Yeah.
That I had the aha moment of the WhatsApp group. So I have the WhatsApp group, or I have two WhatsApp groups, and then I combined them into just like, I have the support group and then I have a book club. So I combined it into a WhatsApp community. Okay. What. What? Good wording. And then I have the ambassador piece that we're going to add to it. But. Yeah, the next piece is money.
Yeah. Yeah.
Okay.
Well, let's just, like, say, because we want to honor that your heart wanted some celebrations today, and I feel like we're. We're kind of there already. So, like, you've had these brilliant realizations around your community space and how you can hold your community space in a way that feels great.
What else can we celebrate selling? 20. No. How many books did I sell? I sold 33 books in 23 days. It was 22 and 22, but I sold 33 and 23, which is huge.
Yes, it is huge. And talk about a piece that can really support that money and income kind of next iteration of this, because that's just evidence that you can do this.
Yeah. And it was like, like hundreds of dollars in my bank account. Like, that surprised me. Once I actually, like, looked at the numbers, I was like, oh, it's like real money. It's not just, like, gas money.
Yeah.
Yeah.
How does that feel?
Like it supports that belief that came up in the beginning of, like, can the books even be a focus point?
Yeah.
It totally can. So then I guess that my brain has to, like, you know, work.
Oh, brain.
Yeah.
I guess I'm just thinking, like, how does that connect to community? And does it connect to community? And do I need a community? Do I need an additional source of income? All those questions.
Yeah.
So how does it support community?
I mean, how. I guess, how. Have you already seen your books supporting the community?
I haven't. I don't feel like, like, with these two communities that I have, like this, the support group and the book club are like. I feel like it's people that don't necessarily even know that I have a business.
Okay. That seems like a guild.
Yeah. Yeah.
And I think now that, you know, with. With me labeling the community as common, colorful, like, there's got to be some kind of connection in their brains, but I don't know what that is.
Yeah. Well, it feels like a simple introduction is to come.
Yeah. Yeah.
And I think that is something we're sorting out with the ambassador piece of that community as well. Of, like, what does it look like to start introducing these.
Yeah.
What's.
Yeah, Maybe like, in the announcement section. Because I think the announcement goes to everyone. Right. Like, the book club and the support group in the community. You're a WhatsApp community professional.
I am gonna not claim that title, I think so. I think where if you start creating new spaces, people have to join those from there. But I think default everyone. Yeah, default everyone's in the kind of announcement. Announcement.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I could do, like, the announcement. Hey, I'm starting this ambassador program for these coloring books, if you'd like to make additional income and love the books or whatever, however I want to word it.
Yeah.
And that's a great way to just, like, say, hey, I. I create these books.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, you have a book club section in there, right? Why can your books be part of that?
Yeah, that'd be kind of fun.
It's almost like all the pieces are already there.
I mean, because the books can be part of the support group and they can be a part of the book club. And, like, I'd have to get creative, which I'm. I'm open to doing and love doing, on how to bring the book into the book club. Because it wouldn't be, like, a book that we read.
Right, Right. It's something you work through together.
Yeah.
That can be how some of your coping skills come in.
Yeah.
That's what I was thinking of. Like, how to use, like, maybe a breathing exercise or maybe even in the announcement section. So I'm, like, talking to both communities.
Yeah.
I bring in.
Oh, look at all that.
This is fun together.
I love all this. I think it's. These are all brilliant ideas. I am going to have you come back to celebrations, though.
I knew you were gonna.
Do you see how your brain is.
Like, okay, let's plan.
Yeah. Yeah.
We'll celebrate. Cool, cool, cool. But, like, action.
Yeah.
And there is. I mean, and I only say that today and today's session because your heart's desire was to celebrate.
Yeah.
Like, that's present for a reason. And so what if we honor that for a little bit longer? Like, what if we prolonged that for just a Little bit longer through.
What do I need to prolong? This is one of my favorite questions to highlight or amplify hidden blocks that may be going on. So often we try to run into usually a doing phase. So I'm going to plan, I'm going to create, I'm going to be productive just for the sake of being productive when we want to run away from something else. And sometimes that can be something that feels really good, like celebration. Now, granted, celebration can feel a little uncomfortable sometimes, depending on how it's being expressed. But the point here is asking yourself, what do I need to prolong? What do I need to be in for just a little bit longer? Because it is what I know that I need need. And maybe the pre question for that, if you're like, well, I don't even know where to begin with that. Is asking yourself, what do I need? That's a question we don't ask ourselves as often as we really should, because you are the only one that can fully know your needs. And so how often are you checking in on that? And that's where we started this session today. We checked in with, what do you need today? Jessica was very clear on what she needed, and. And that usually is the very thing that you need to prolong just a little bit longer. So try that on today.
Okay, let's do it. What else are we celebrating?
You tell me. What do you want to celebrate from the last two months? It's been two months.
Oh, my goodness. It flies. It goes so fast.
Yeah.
It's like raising a child, working with Megan.
I want to celebrate how much you've leaned into your human design.
Ooh, that's a good one.
It's coming up all over the place. Even the exploration we were having earlier this week of frustration popping up and how you can bring yourself back into satisfaction.
Yeah.
Yeah. And then there was a term that you taught me, situational frustration. Mm. That was a fun one. Which is not necessarily related to the human design, which was good awareness for me.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I feel like the. Like, the celebration in that is like you're just really getting to know yourself and how you can bring yourself back into alignment. What else?
I feel like I've been more present with Corbin in the past two months, and just like, the awareness of when I'm not present with Corbin, which is big. That's important to me and myself. I've been more present with myself and connecting with myself.
Yeah.
Probably just as much as I am with Corbin.
Yeah. Yeah.
So good.
Yeah.
And a long Time ago. I think everything feels like a long time ago. We had a session about, like. Like, the roles and the identity.
Yeah.
So, like, that's been something I've been able to really, like, embody recently on, like, multiple roles. Like, being able to connect with myself while connecting with Corbett at the same time.
Yeah. Yeah.
So good.
Yeah.
Give. Give us, like, three more.
Okay. You got it. Let's think. The books are such, like, a nice, obvious one. I like the obvious ones.
Do you let yourself celebrate those obvious ones?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think I celebrate them. I'm really good about celebrating them in the moment. But then, like. And I think this is why I came up today. Like, I'm. Then it's just like, okay, that's the past.
Yeah.
Whereas, like, today it's like, no, let's keep celebrating that. Like, that was big.
Yeah.
I think also another piece worth celebrating is that challenge. Like, I heard something that, like, the opposite of a trigger. Trigger is a sparkle.
Love that.
So, like, it sparkled.
Yeah.
The fun idea of how much I enjoyed the challenge.
Yeah.
And then now I'm doing another challenge.
Yeah. Yeah.
I love that.
Which I need to, like, work on. I get to work on.
Yeah.
And you've been landing in a new place.
Yeah.
Like, let us honor the transition and how you're navigating a transition of location, being a mama, holding a business.
Yeah.
All the things.
Yeah. Yeah.
Okay. Was that three. Let's do one more for good measure.
It wasn't. I'll be honest. I want to say yes, but integrity.
Look at that growth already. Just in, like, I don't know, five minutes there, she took control of her brain.
I mean, I. I feel there's, like, been a big shift in my mindset in money. Even though there might not be, like, a new offer that I'm. I'm really wanting to create.
Yeah.
But, like, I got the job. I got a job. Like, what's it called? Promotion, I guess promotion kind of. I don't know what to call it.
Yeah.
So that's really big. Like, that's. It's bringing me out of, like, survival mode. I feel like.
Yeah.
Which is huge. I've been in survival mode for, like, probably 34 years now.
Yeah.
I mean, I've peeked out of it.
But this is actually so huge and something we've been working on a little more behind the scenes of just seeing that as something that can be an investor in your business and something that really supports you and creates some really stable foundations, all while it's something you just like, really enjoy. And it, like, really lights you up and inspires you and. And gets you creative in different ways too.
Yeah. Yeah.
And like, by getting this job, I'm getting lots of bonuses to get this job, which is like, super. Like, what. When we were talking about, like, I guess it's not really an interview because I kind of already had it, but, like, the interview piece of it, we were like, well, what about this? What about this? And you're like, you know, just be. Open up to magic. Open up, like, open to possibilities. So, like, when I hopped on the call, I was just like, I'm open to possibilities. I'm open to magic. And like, all this magic, like, things that I couldn't have even imagined were offered to me. So. Yeah, that was really cool.
Yeah. Yeah.
I feel like it's because I was so open to it.
Yeah.
So can you bring that same energy into the money you want to call into your business?
Yeah, well, what I really want is to sell my books to an airline. I feel like that's like a big chunk. That's like lots of books, lots of families. And it's like, maybe not easy, but could be easy. Like easy in a sense where I'm not like, knocking on door to door necessarily.
Yeah, I know that's something you told me, like, before we started all of this. That has been like a. A secret passion, if you will.
Yeah.
Okay, so let's start to shift into that missing piece, the income piece. That feels like a little bit of a gap. We have like 30 days left together. Ish. Probably a little more or less than that.
This is the time I'm starting to like, okay, so this ends this time. And then I just re sign up with a new series with Megan at this date. That's what my brain goes into every time.
Well, before we go there, let's. Let's ground here. And.
Yeah. What.
Since you feel like first lighthouse statement accomplished. Done. Which, by the way, I just got a flashback that you were like, what.
If I don't accomplish it?
And it's like, well, what if you just like, completely far exceed that? And now we have to come up with another goal.
Yeah, there's been a lot of like, what if I don't? And then we continue to far exceed.
And yeah, I know. The challenge is such a good, tangible example of that. And I feel like that. That that same energy, that's the same energy as, like, I can be so open to possibilities. I can be so open to magic. And that feels like the key to pull through in this money, this income piece. Like, how open can I be?
Yeah.
So let's just get really clear. What would feel really good in 30 days when it comes to income specifically?
I mean, I'd love, like, some crazy, like, crazy number of income coming in in 30. Like, like the. The scary, like, wild. I don't even know. Like, I can't even.
Yeah.
That would be fun. I don't know if it's, like, necessarily another offer. Like, like, quiz words. What you were saying is, like, what if I'm open to the possibilities and the magic with my books, which is my goal. So, like, why do I need another offer? Because then I'm putting my energy into other offers. And, like, I think Patreon, I guess that's kind of another option except to offer things.
That's true.
But Patreon could be something like, super automated. But I still have to promote it. Maybe it's not that time. Okay, Ambassador. Well, then we were talking about the Ambassador program, which I'm really excited for. But then we were talking about, like, what are the next steps for. Yeah, that. And then we talked about wait list.
And primarily, if we're talking about, like, you're. You're missing piece right now. Your next goal is income. And when you break down the numbers of Ambassador, like, it's a great way to expand and to bring more people into your ecosystem. But when we broke down the number numbers, it was.
I mean, right now it's like, I make a dollar.
Yeah. A dollar a book, which is like, we celebrate all income coming in. Right. And an Ambassador program is such a great way to grow your audience and to bring more people in. And it create. It cultivates that connection that's been feeling really good in your business. And I feel like you can still put your energy into that because you already have the pieces moving. But is that going to be the thing that fully supports what actually feels.
Like it's missing, which is the income.
Right.
Yeah. No. I mean, unless I have a bunch of ambassadors making, you know. Sure. I have an ambassador that says 1,000 books. I make $1,000.
Yeah.
And you have a thousand new humans in your audience. So. And we're open to all of that magic and possibility happening, of course. And just looking at, like, what are the other pieces I want to hold right now? And I don't know that you will know the answer to that today.
Okay. I mean, what's coming to mind is the. The air. The airline thing. I don't know if that's, like, a tangible goal in 30 days. Of course I'm open to magic.
I mean, what if the lighthouse is. I mean, because we. We have 30 days here, so what if the lighthouse just is. What if I'm open to magic and possibility of my books? Like, what if that is just the statement you keep coming back to and we just play in that possibility?
Yeah.
Sorry, I didn't mean to cut you.
No, no, go ahead.
What is it some kind of like, money piece in it? Because like. Like I'm working on new books with my graphic designer right now, so I don't want to. I mean, I do want to create magic in that space as well, but like, that's me. Me spending money. I want the books to be bringing in money as well.
Yeah.
Okay. Where would you add money into that?
Can you repeat what you said?
I'm open to the magic impossibility of my books.
I'm open to my books bringing in money magically. No, but like, something along those lines. My book's bringing in. I'm open to the magic and possibility of my books bringing in money. I don't know, that's. I feel like the magic and possibilities should be more around the money, not the books. But it's both. But do you know what I mean? Like, I want the books in there because I want it to be from the books.
Yeah.
I'm open to it being from other spaces, like the new job position. And I really, really would love it to be the books or anything like common, colorful, related specifically which. Which is the books or the flashcards or whatever else there is.
Can you remind me if you're specific or non specific?
Non specific, unfortunately. I really want to be specific.
Okay. Let's just double chop there. Nothing unfortunate about that. And also you can always lean into the specifics. It's just not grasping onto them so tightly.
Yeah.
Is what's going to be the support. That is hilarious though. So.
So feeling.
Yeah.
The non specific is all about tuning into the feeling.
Which if I could share a fun example, like this job thing was like, we just. We just went into the feeling. We didn't like we. Because everything is me and you. We didn't like talk about, you know, I was going to get this bonus and this bonus and this bonus. It was just like I'm open to the magic and possibility and like standing in that like. And like even more like money than I expected to get paid per hour or like was going into. So like. Yeah, it was always like this or something better and just like sitting with that feeling and I was really good at that with this job because I was very detached from it.
Mm.
I'm very attached to my books. I need to, like, cut the cord maybe.
Yeah.
I was just looking at your. Your human design view, which is basically, like, our most ideal way to, like, view the world in a grand way of putting it. It's actually very connected to our manifestation style in human design. And yours is possibility, which is literally just like, having this innate knowing that, yeah, we're just, like, winning. Like, yeah, this is just gonna work out. And it is about not getting too connected to the probability of it actually happening and the details and the logic. That's actually, like, the shadow side of possibility. So you have all these cues in your. In your design that are saying, like, just tune into that possibility. Like, why are you getting so tripped up on the logic and the pieces and the specifics?
So, like, maybe it's not an airplane.
It could be.
Right. Maybe it's trains. I don't know.
It could be.
Yeah.
Yeah, it could be.
Okay.
I'm just saying. Well, how are the specifics tripping you up and maybe even blocking you from taking any action at all?
For sure?
And, I mean, I'm just gonna be like, yes, please. Possibly a little contradictory here. I don't know if you want to. Yes, please. That. Because it's like, a two things can be true at once situation where, like, specificity in the book challenge was really supportive.
So.
So, like, there's time and space for the specifics to come in and really support you. And in this area, what I'm hearing is when you're like, well, with this job, I was just so unattached, and I just knew, like, anything could happen, and then it just did. And why can't that same thing be true for your business?
So I feel like with the book challenge, there still was very, very much possibility. Like, I wasn't attached to how it was coming. Like, it was like, some books were on Amazon, whereas, like, when I initially had the idea of the book challenge, it was not on Amazon, but then I was open to receiving whatever. Like, cool. Amazon's great. So I feel like there was possibility there and, like, the possibility of it being more than 22 books or under 22 books. Like, I was very open to, like, after talking through it, of course I was okay with not making the goal because it was still selling. Even one book would be worth celebrating, but, yes. Okay, so how do I detach or how do I be open to possibilities with my business?
Yeah.
Are you open to Possibility with your business?
Yeah.
Is that a question?
I want to be open to possibilities with my business. I guess I feel like there's always. It's like that comparing to other people's businesses on like, well, they have this one course and that's all they do, and then they blow up and they're multi millionaires and they're so cool and I want to be like them and, or like they have this one course and then they share and it's a year long and they share about all their other courses in there. And then they're a multimillionaire and that's so cool. So like, my brain is like, how do I make like, so like the open to possibility piece? Like, I know deep down there's a multimillion dollar version of me out there because I have all these other ideas and goals with that money. I lost my train of thought because my brain went to like, justifying being a multi millionaire. Like, I promise it's for the good.
Yeah.
What I want to know.
Yeah.
What about just, I'm open to receiving money in my business.
Yep.
Yeah, I love that. But I, I, I like the books, but then I'm not being open to possibility. I guess it's just like, what other offers do people pay me for in my business?
What about I'm open to receiving money with my books.
Yeah, but I like the magic and possibility words too.
Okay. I'm open to receiving money, money, magic and possibilities in my business.
I'm open to the magic impossibilities.
Through.
My books of receiving money, receiving money through my books. I'm open to the magic and possibilities of receiving money through my books. Does that, Is that English?
It was definitely English words. What about I'm open to my books creating magic, possibilities and money in my business. I'm open to my books creating magic, possibility and money in my business.
I like that. But my question is, like, is magic impossibilities? Maybe not money? Like, maybe like, does that like man. Like, is that like manifesting or co creating? Like, like trade.
But because the word money's in there.
But like when, so like the money piece, but then like magic and possibilities, are those different than money? Like magic, comma, possibilities, comma, money. Does that make sense? So, like, does that mean it's open to trade, which is not what I want. I mean, I love trade. I'm all for trade.
Yeah.
Like, I don't want to, I don't want to manifest more trade. I want to manifest money.
Yeah.
I mean, we're Doing a back and forth here where if we make it only money, you're like, what? I want the magic and possibilities. And then if we. If we put only magic and possibilities, then you want the money, but if we put all three, it's not landing right. So what is the gap there?
I'm open to the magic and possibilities my book will create by bringing in money because I want the magic and possibilities to be around the books.
To.
Create money, to bring in money. But, like, I want the magic impossibilities to be like, I have no idea where the books are going to be selling to bring in the money. But magic impossibility with books equals money.
I feel like that's just it right there. Magic.
Magic and possibility plus possibility plus book equal money. Like, there we go. Done. It's now a math equation or a success formula.
Yeah, I was going to say, which is great for what you're calling in.
Perfect.
I actually really love that. It feels like it creates some simplicity for your brain as well. That's like, can we make this logical? And it's like, sure. Here's just some words that make sense for us.
Yeah.
Perfect. I love that. That feels really good.
Yeah.
So good. Okay, so what do you feel like is the first step with that?
Oh, that felt like a big question. Okay, so I'm doing a new challenge of selling 111 books because that's my angel numbers to. So my virtual assistant wants to do a trip for her birthday. So I told her that I will give her the bonus to pay for the trip. A bonus to pay for the trip for her birthday. If we sell 111 books by her birthday. So which is November 9th. But, like, she needs to get the money before then.
So.
I was thinking November 1st, but realistically, it needs to be before then because it takes a few days to send it to her. Maybe, like, it would be cool if it was October. I don't know if that's too much pressure on me. October 22, because that's Corbin's birthday.
That.
I could send her the money by. So, like, that's when it stops.
How about you say, like through October 31st, but maybe you have that, like, October 22nd date in your. As like, kind of a touch point. But to alleviate some of the pressure around, if you're having like a party or a gathering or anything for.
For sure, yeah, we'll be traveling that whole week, but yeah, it's perfect. And then. And then a party.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, there's gonna be a lot going on stretch to end of October. And then we'll have a little touch point of like, October 22nd where, you know, you can check in. Um, great. And let's make some motion towards the airplane dream. I mean, we're not going to let that disappear just because we're talking about non specific. We love a pun. So have you, have you started any research on that at all?
A little bit. I have. I have asked people on LinkedIn that are on that work for airplanes to connect with me.
Okay.
And I made a list, but the list disappeared.
Okay. Well, it sounds like you're into the clouds. Probably a digital cloud. You're funny. I know that your Virgo energy loves like, a doc, a spreadsheet, a folder, like, something. So go ahead and make whatever you need to, like, feel really grounded for this project because it's something that's been on your heart. It's something that came up first for like, a way you can really expand and, and earn a lot of money with the books, which, yes, all of us know at the heart of all of that is that you're going to.
Impact a lot of families and just start diving into some research.
Another thing I feel like you could look into. I don't know if you've thought of this already, but have you looked into how like, Calm and Headspace have gotten onto airplanes?
No. That's a great idea.
I'm curious if you can just like, start doing some research, like maybe connect with people from those companies instead of the airlines.
Yeah.
I was on a flight recently and they had Calm, the Calm app integrated.
Into.
The tv and it had like, listen to this. If you have flight anxiety. And it made me think of you.
That's cool.
Yeah, I was just super cool your coloring books being on there. So I'm holding you.
Okay. Thank you.
You're so welcome.
What are you non specific or specific?
I am non specific.
That's okay. I was hoping we can, you know, balance each other out there.
I'm non specifically.
We can non specifically do it together.
However, your view is possibility and my view is probability, which are polar opposites. So I can support you on some of the specific pieces. That's that. Maybe it's why the challenge came. Came alive so easily. Okay, so. So you'll start a little research folder, start seeing what else you can find. Start putting those ideas in one place instead of keeping them all up in your mind.
Okay.
Yeah.
Cool. I like that a lot.
Yeah.
Yeah. And I had a thought. Oh, so there's the, the airplane idea that I want to dig into. And then there's also. I just want to like, like what I did for this, the past challenge was just announce it on my social media and talk about it and share. So like my va. Her name is Jelly, so we can actually use her name and she. She's gonna send me the place that she wants to go, so then I can like share that with everyone.
I love that.
And yeah, so that's another piece that I want to do and step into is just like sharing on social media.
Yeah.
And what we talked about, like how to succeed is to use what I've already done and succeeded. I'm in a new spot, so there's new crystal shops to go to.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And that's.
Maybe I could do this weekend.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Okay, so I feel like you have some solid action. How is your. Your brain feeling with like, okay, we have some spaces to go.
My brain says, oh, we don't have enough books that we're traveling with. That's one thing.
Can we find a solution for that fairly easily?
Yeah.
We could just mail them directly to the. The Crystal shop from Amazon and problem solved. And then another piece for the airlines.
Is.
Like, I kind of want to create kind of like my sample book as to pitch the airlines versus, like the actual book, even though they cost the same amount of money. But I think that'd be cooler for the airplanes.
Yeah.
So, yeah, I guess just like creating a sample, but like a digital copy.
Yeah.
Of my sample book so then I can send that to airlines on like this is my idea.
Yeah.
But maybe I don't need that just yet. Yeah, well, I have a physical copy.
Put it in your, like, whatever. If you come up with a folder or a doc, whatever you come up with for like where you're going to put all the stuff for the airline project, make sure there's. It feels like it should be a folder for like, I don't know, project, airline. Common. Colorful.
I like that.
Cute.
That's fun.
That is fun. Go ahead and make a folder and then, yeah, make sure these things are in there, like the sample book, whatever research you want to dig into. I'm sure you'll start creating so many other things for that, like templates to reach out to people, things like that. So yeah, let's just go ahead and create a space for that so it's not all just like floating around in your energetic system because it's still present here like 60 days later. So it feels. Feels like a powerful piece of the vision.
Yeah. Yeah.
Yay.
Yay.
All of the yays. Anything else to feel complete for today?
Celebrating that we got to celebrate and make an action plan.
