In this short demo dialogue, the presenters explain how Matic’s five crown‑mounted cameras continuously generate a global map of its surroundings. They illustrate a “kidnap” test: the robot is blindfolded (cameras covered) and physically moved to a new location. When the blindfold is removed, the robot instantly recognizes the change on its map and re‑localizes itself, demonstrating rapid recovery from sudden displacement.
