Replace your Matic mop roll when you see a worn-out error or after three months. Pull the groove on the right side of the cleaning head, press the larger orange button to release the core, clear hair from the idler, reinsert and lock it, slide in a fresh mop roll until it clicks, then update the app to Settings and tap new mop roll inserted.
If you're seeing a mop roll worn out error, or it's been about 3 months since your last mop roll replacement, it's time for a fresh one. See that little groove at the back of the cleaning head on the right side? Pull that and slide the mop roll out. Click the larger of the orange buttons to release the mop core. Remove any hair and debris off the idler. Insert the mop core back into the idler and click the small orange button to lock it in place. Take a new mop roll or a washed and dried one and insert it until you hear a click. Then put the entire mop roll assembly back into the cavity. Head to the app, go to settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap new mop roll inserted. This ensures proper saturation for the next Clean. And that's it, you're done.
