How to clean your Matic vacuum filter in five steps: open the lid, remove the HEPA bag, use a coin to pop out the filter from the back-right, wipe it clean with a paper towel, and click it back in place.
Open Matic's lid and remove the HEPA bag. Look at the back right of the bag cavity for the vacuum filter. Take a small coin and insert it into the groove at the top center of the filter. Pull outwards using the coin to remove the filter. Take a paper towel and clean any debris off of the filter. If needed, rinse it under some water. Be sure to dry off the filter completely. Reinsert the vacuum filter with the coin groove side on top back into its cavity until you feel a click. Reinsert the HEPA bag, then close Matic's lid.
