Fix a Matic's "lid not sealed" error by removing the HEPA bag, clearing debris from the rubber skirt, and reinstalling the bag without lifting its plastic tab first. Push the lid down firmly to complete the seal.
To ensure proper lid sealing, please remove the full HEPA bag from your Matic. Check and remove any debris around the rubber skirt of the bin. When replacing your HEPA bag, please make sure you do not lift the plastic tab of the bag before putting it back into the Matic. This makes it more challenging for the bag to sit correctly. Bring down the tab and insert the HEPA bag in. Close the lid and give it a firm push to make sure it's completely closed.
