The video introduces Matic, a robot vacuum and mop that differentiates itself from typical round devices through advanced visual intelligence that creates photorealistic maps of the home and navigates around everyday obstacles. All visual data is processed locally on the device and transmitted via end‑to‑end encrypted remote control, ensuring privacy. Matic operates quieter than a dishwasher, allowing it to run while occupants sleep. Its HEPA bag captures allergens, bacteria, dust, and wet waste, and is designed for no‑touch removal. The brush system is tangle‑free, with a smooth roll and a rotating side brush that retracts after use. An actuating cleaning head adapts to rugs, carpets, and thresholds, preventing the robot from getting stuck. The mopping system self‑cleans with a continuous flow of fresh water, keeping each pass as clean as the first. Users can easily set cleaning schedules and select specific areas via the detailed home map, then let Matic operate autonomously.
