However, they point out notable shortcomings: the mop fails to reach floor edges, it occasionally skips corners, and several advertised features—such as point‑to‑clean mode and smart‑home integration—have not yet been released. The reviewer also mentions occasional bugs. Despite these issues, they note that Matic has a history of fulfilling prior promises and assures that the company intends to address the current gaps, suggesting confidence in future improvements.

Now I'm not saying the Matic Robot is flawless. While it is probably the best wet/dry vacuum and mop I've ever owned in terms of performance, it does leave some things to be desired. Like when it mops, it doesn't get close enough to the edges of the floor, and sometimes it skips corners instead of vacuuming in them. Also, a few of the previously promised features haven't shipped yet, such as the point-to-clean mode featured prominently on their website header. They've also promised to look into smart home features, and of course there are the odd bugs here or there. But Matic says they will eventually fix all those things and they've made good on all their previous promises so far.
